These folks are professional. I'm super happy with the service. And the final cost was aligned with the service. Everything went well; they were on time; they described the final plan, cost estimate, timeframe, and overall plan. They took our 30+ boxes like nothing, they took care of our furniture with care, and they even suggested using our remaining bubble wrap so they won't need to charge a couple of dollars more. Bonus note: They were the only providers that called me 5 minutes after sending the request for information form. They were quick to tell me if my dates were available or not, while other providers took 24h days to respond only to tell me that they were booked. Jerome and Jojo were awesome!! So efficient, so fast and so personable. Best movers I've ever experienced!! They were able to move my 1-bedroom apartment within 4 hours, which included 4 flights of stairs on one end and two different elevator banks and a long walk on the other; waiting time for another vehicle that was in our dock () and also waiting time while sorting out recording / attainment of keys. Actual moving time and driving time was likely only 3+-ish hours. Have definitely recommended them to my colleagues and will definitely request them again on my next move. Magician movers! I has a 3 man team to pack and load the first POD, headed by Leo, they were great they packed their very professional they did an amazing job. Then they loaded the first POD. Then the second team, two men, Luis Garcia and Jose Bravo, they just using two men did a great job loading some very heavy furniture including a big damn exercise bike, into the POD. The pod itself stuck a bit, and Luis also helped unstick it because that would've been crazy to have to deal with a open pod loaded up. I'm very happy with Ontrack moving, they're more expensive than some, and in my mind worth it. I would hire them again in a second. read more

I hired Ontrack this weekend for a move from San Francisco to Portland and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Jerome, Ika, and the rest of the team crushed it. First off, they had amazing communication. From the initial calls and consultation, to the day of. I was always kept updated as to the status of the arrivals at various locations, where they stopped for the night, etc. Next, they were always on time. Again, the consultation said 12-1 and they were there at 12 on the dot. When Jerome, Ika and team arrived and said they'd be there at 8:30, they arrived at 8:30. And when it came time to delivery, they were prompt and ready to unload. Finally, the quality of the work. The team was SUPER fast and usually that can be worrisome when they're moving your goods, but there wasn't a single causality. Everything was packed very well, moved quickly, and they reassembled a bunch of the complex furniture on arrival. Add all of this to the fact that every person I spoke to was incredibly friendly and professional. From working with Sam on the phone, to Paul the assessor, and to Jerome and Ika handling the move, they were all super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

After a call with the owner I modified the initial review to the following: We had a multi-day move with a dedicated truck for our things. Here are the good parts: * the people moving boxes and furniture were great, careful, and organized * the organization of things leading to moving day and also unloading day were very clear * the quoting process was efficient Here are the bad parts: * the truck leaked en route and our things sat in a damp truck for 20 hours until they were unloaded * 6-8 boxes were very wet, but we lucked out that nothing appears damaged * There was a delay before Ontrack contacted us about the water. It came from an incorrect process that we were told to follow regarding escalation/concerns. The owner called us, and apologized for the oversight. It sounds like future issues will be handled differently. read more

I called this company based on their positive reviews and was very disappointed. First of all, they quoted me a price over the phone that was way, way less than what it turned out to be. It actually cost me at least twice of what they quoted me. Secondly, the guys who came out did not even move all of my stuff!!! They told me they had run out of room. When I went to look at their truck, it was half full. They then begrudgingly added a few more things. So after paying twice as much as expected, I then had to scramble afterwards, rent a pickup, get a friend to help me on an emergency basis and move the remaining items on my own. I did not get done until 3AM. Horrible experience!!!!! Never again read more

We hired on track to move us from Oakland to San Francisco. The team we were assigned was top notched and took care of everything about as quickly as they could. Valentin was our foreman and made sure everything was on schedule while Novi and Cesar were excellent at getting things packed up and out. We had just about everything packed up but they had no issues getting the remaining items packed up for us. The team was great and I cannot give them enough credits. It was rather expensive and we went more than double the quote but that did not surprise me. Not really sure why they don't quote for me. Just prepare to pay more. read more

We used Ontrack Moving in October 2020 to move from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. Our experience with Ontrack could not have been better. They were more expensive than another company who gave us a quote, but we decided to go with Ontrack due to their professionalism and expertise. We moved during COVID and every person we worked with was extremely professional and followed safety protocol (masks, sanitizer, distancing). The movers were fast but thorough. They packed everything with extreme care and we did not have a single item break or go missing. They locked the truck with a special band that they had us inspect when locking and unlocking to ensure nothing had been touched after it was packed. The total move took 3 days (Day 1 to pack, Day 2 to load the truck and drive, and Day 3 to unpack and set up our furniture). They also include a haul away service for items up to a certain weight limit. I cannot say enough good things about our moving crew. This was a bad experience. 1) Damage to the piano. The piano was dropped twice. Once in SF and once in the driveway of the house. Scratches to the piano feet and separation of the footboard are the problems 2) 2 pieces of art are missing 3) moving team were not properly covered. I had to ask them to wear masks and they never wore gloves. They mostly did not understand what I was asking of them. 4) the foreman hovered over me and badgered me for a good tip and for a good rating. he repeatedly badgered me over the mention of the piano in the questionnaire review. 5) Since COVID-19 is a problem, I need to wait to examine the rest of the comments before I make a complete claim. I found Ontrack on Yelp today as my regular moving company was not available. I needed movers the same day (today). I requested a quote via the yelp website and I got a reply within a very short time. They said that they could do the job today with 2 guys. I was thrilled! They gave me a window of noon to 6 p.m. and said that the driver would call ahead of time and let me know when they would be arriving. I got a call around 11:00 a.m. that they would be arriving by 11:30 a.m. They arrived on time and their attitude was impressive. They were not slacking at all. In fact they were super motivated and driven to get the large cabinets and appliances to my kitchen 4 stories up without any elevator! I had no idea that movers could be this awesome. I am going to find out the names of these 2 guys and definitely request them for my projects. I really lucked out today finding this company. I hired Ontrack Moving to move me out of my storage unit in Pacheco, CA down to Santa Barbara which is a five hour drive. They were great to deal with from the start with Sam over the phone in the office to Alex who met me onsite to do my estimate. I was originally going to go with a company who would be consolidating all of my belongings onto a larger truck with other people's stuff who were moving in the same direction/vicinity, but I was concerned about the possibility of things getting lost. That company also could not tell me the exact day that my belongings would reach me in Santa Barbara and only that it would be within 7 days. For only $300 more in cost I opted to go with Ontrack Moving who provides the same guys who load your stuff to also drive to your new location and unload it. Plus they drove to Santa Barbara the same day they loaded and met me the next morning to unload. Jerome (the foreman) and Jojo were the two guys who handled my move and they were GREAT! They provided good communication calling me before they arrived on both days, and were both helpful and cheerful throughout the entire process (they even had to miss part of the Super Bowl to do my move). ;) I highly recommend Ontrack moving for your next move. On track did a great job boxing and moving our collection. They worked from 8 AM to 10 PM, in order to complete the move in one day.
