We had such excellent movers from our last move within SF! Edgar, Carlos G. and Miguel moved us (and packed whatever was not yet packed) within a reasonable time. They were so mindful with handling fragile packages, protected all our furniture and our home, and took great care making sure nothing is damaged during the move. They even helped us move some furniture pieces to the curb for Recology pickup. They had to disassemble some furniture and they re-assembled everything correctly (this was important to us because our previous movers botched the re-assembly). Overall, they were a very professional crew throughout the move! Booking with Ontrack Moving was also a smooth experience with Dylan. They were responsive, transparent, and reasonable with the costs involved with the move. We are very happy to have made the choice to hire Ontrack Moving! read more

Both Jonathan and Herbert were professional, courteous, and did an excellent job. On time and reliable. I would highly recommend this company and relative to other movers, these were extreme professionals, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

I used OnTrack first to move out of my old place in May of this year and store my household furnishings for 3 months. The storage was well priced and the movers led by Antonio B. were incredibly professional, careful, and fast. I then had them move my things to my new place on August 1. At each step of the way the team led by Antonio B. were excellent, efficient and very pleasant. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They made my moving experience terrific! read more

We knew we were going to need help moving our bulky furniture from our fifth floor apartment. Booking Ontrack Moving Company was easy and their pricing model was straightforward. They even offered a discount for taking an afternoon appointment. Our movers Edgar and Jonathan were real troopers. Not only did they have to deal with a busted elevator, causing them to have to use an elevator farther away, they powered through to carry our super heavy sleeper sofa and two standing desks up two flights of narrow stairs at our new place. This was done without damaging any of our belongings or our new home. Despite wrapping and packing up everything faster than I've seen anyone do before, these guys stayed until almost 8PM moving us into our new place. I can't believe how much stuff we actually owned until we had to move it. I'd hate to think how long it would have taken us if we hadn't hired Ontrack Moving. read more

They impressed me from the reservation all the way to the end of the job. Miguel Prerechu and Karin Pereyra are the movers helped us move. They arrived on time and examined the room first to understand what are the moving stuff then prepare the all the moving materials. During the process, they are very careful, professional, nice and friendly. Most importantly they are so efficient! We bought them pizza and drinks beside tip because of the excellent service both provided. I think every family when they move should provide some kind of food because moving is not an easy job. The whole company gave us a peace of mind when we do this moving and we get it done less than 5 hours whereas could be 2 days if we do it ourself. They are also very professional in terms of contact, insurance, communication. I have recommended them to my company and thank you Ontrack team. Other area that made us even happy: we moved from SF to east bay and we had experience that driver detoured to the destination and overcharged. This did not happen with Ontrack. They even arrived earlier than us because we delayed 10 mins to get pizza. Thanks for being professional. read more

I used Ontrack Moving last year and was so impressed with them that this year I didn't even call anyone else to comparison shop to do the same move in reverse. Last year Hugo moved us and was such a delight to work with. I requested him again this year, but David and Jesus were sent and they were wonderful too! So I guess everyone that works there is just a pleasure to work with. Besides being real pros at the actual move, I continue to be impressed by how on top of everything the whole staff are--getting all the insurance info to our building, confirming the move the day before, calling 20 minutes before they arrived, that kind of thing. They will be my only call next time I have to move too! read more

A friend recommended Ontrack to my partner and me for our move across the Bay last month. When I called for a quote, Dylan candidly walked me through their process and pricing, and was patient and kind in answering my questions. There were other moving companies we were considering, but this interaction made me feel secure and confident with Ontrack. Our movers Luis, Mateo and Antonio were amazing! They wore masks and gloves throughout the whole move. We had 30-40 boxes all packed and ready by the time they came, and some large furniture, which they wrapped attentively with blankets or plastic wrap. They moved everything out of the first location in an hour, working quickly, carefully and safely. The destination had three small flights of stairs, and they carried heavy items up using either a dolly or raw superhuman strength! We saw how hard they labored, so we bought them donuts and tipped them each 25% of the total cost of the move, and we hope that you'll do the same. These hardworking movers are providing an essential service *during a pandemic*, and we were so grateful to have their help starting a new chapter in our lives. We wish them and their families health and safety during this crazy time. I hope they know how valued they are! read more

Jonathan and Luis moved our belongings today and they did a great job. They were fast, efficient and I believe Ontrack was the cheapest option compared to all the other places I compared them to. They were also nice people and very professional. read more

10/10, totally would recommend! Literally just waved off the movers 10 minutes ago and I'm feeling so relieved I went with this company. Hella professional and helpful throughout the whole process, was able to get their help two weeks from the moving date. Rates are reasonable and Luis helped me through the process with complete transparency when I spoke to him on the phone. He even followed up with me on questions I had before moving day. Day of they texted me when they would arrive, and actually arrived earlier than anticipated! David and Andreas were so kind and helpful, I had most everything packed so they just confirmed with me what I did and didn't want taken with me. They were so flexible too, willing to shift plans and help me get furniture boxes from my boyfriend's place since I had some delivered there. Super efficient, super professional, and super humans throughout the whole process, everyone helped turn what would've been an insane day to a much more manageable one. Thank you everyone for all that you do, y'all are amazing! read more

I had the best experience with this company today. I was very nervous about my move during COVID and these guys were just fabulous. They took every precaution and on top of that they were the most skilled, hardworking, and efficient movers I have ever used. They were friendly, and wrapped everything so well including my precious vintage furniture. (See photo of impressive couch wrapping that they then finagled the corner of my Victorian crazy staircase with ease). They even wrapped the underside of the furniture. They called before arriving, and the company was quick to answer my calls every single time before the move. They checked in with the dispatcher to give me updated estimated arrival during the arrival window and I really felt that they took customer service seriously even after the move was booked! The pricing was fair and transparent and the movers really hustled for the final stretch to fit my move into the 3 hour time frame which was much appreciated! They were so transparent about their pricing they even quoted me the different costs depending on which day I chose. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Ontrack Moving helped me with my move between neighborhoods in San Francisco. They texted me ahead of time with their expected time of arrival which held true. The moving team led by Jorge Gonzalez was hard working and very easy to work with; extremely pleasant and friendly. The company was very professional from the admin side and scheduling, to the moving crew and operations. I would recommend them for SF moves and would look to use them for future moves as well. read more

We recently moved from San Francisco to San Diego, and Ontrack Moving did such an excellent job with the move. They showed up on time, picked up everything super efficiently and met us at the new house. Nothing was lost or broken! I also appreciated that they took the empty boxes with them because our recycle bins were already full when we arrived. I highly recommend their service. read more

Ontrack Moving is great. We approached our move from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland, OR with a lot of trepidation, having read many horror stories. However our move with Ontrack went extremely smoothly and nothing was broken or damaged. We did a 3 phase move of our 3 bedroom house: Move out, Ontrack storage for 2 months, Move up to Portland. All three phases went smoothly and nothing was lost despite going on and off the truck twice. Leo managed the move out crew and efficiently emptied our entire house in just 3 hours. The move into our Portland house was very challenging with a long steep driveway and then a full flight of stairs. Their crew of 2: Ivan (who also helped with the move out) and Javier did a fantastic job of coping with the driveway and stairs and got all our possessions into the new house safely and without any damage at all. The move out was local so T&M, which sounded risky, but the final price came in approximately the same as the original estimate, with no attempt to add in extra time or charges. The interstate move was a fixed price quote (it ended up being two vehicles because our stuff was over the single vehicle weight limit), and the final charge was exactly as quoted, despite the driveway and stairs. I would definitely recommend Ontrack for both moving and storage! read more

Absolutely floored by how amazing Ontrack was! Jonathan and Domingo were professional, quick, and efficient and I will be asking for them for personally the next time I need to hire Ontrack. I can't recommend this company enough. read more

Ontrack was awesome. The reviews didn't lie. We reached out to a handful of moving companies. This company was super fast to respond, really friendly and quick with their quotes, and their price met or beat most of their competitors. On moving day, Ika and Martinez showed up exactly on time at the beginning of the move window and even called ahead to let us know they were coming (They drove from Hayward to Oakland and made it at 8am sharp!). The guys were super friendly, professional, and --- FAST. These guys came in and they got.to.work. We were looking to have all our big furniture moved for us (Couch, beds, tables, etc.) and they immediately started at it, at a super quick pace (if I had done this myself with 3 friends there is no way we would have moved so quickly). They got it down three stories, moved it, and got it up to another 2 story apartment in almost 3 hours exactly. The whole time, they were incredibly professional, nice, and delicate with our furniture. These guys were amazing, doubled their tips. Great company, great movers, highly recommend. read more

So I was moving studios on feb 3rd from Mill Valley to Mill Valley. Ontrack was the first company to respond to my request, I think on Next Door. In any event, from the start Luke, who I spoke with about the arrangements was clear and pleasant. Their prices were better than other companies. And I checked with about 6 other companies. Hugo and Umberto did the move. Hugo did most of the interacting with me. He was efficient, professional, calming and reassuring. They did a great job. Made sure I was satisfied. And I was. I was totally satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to move. And, if I have to move again, (god forbid) but if I did, I'd certainly use Ontrack. read more

We chose OnTrack for our small (10 person) office move from Dogpatch to SOMA. David, Domingo, Mauricio, and Jose Hernandez did an incredible job getting us into our new office in a single day. This was a five + star experience from start to finish. In fact, we used Ontrack Moving twice, moving from and back to our home during a remodel project. Hugo, Humberto and Frederico helped us with our move and were absolutely AWESOME! On time, super fast, super respectful of our home, floors, walls - all of it. Cannot recommend OnTrack moving enough, they moved us out of our home for renovations, stored our furniture for a year, and then delivered everything back in perfect condition when the time came. Very up front about pricing and costs as well. If you're looking for movers in the city, definitely go with them. Well done!! read more

HIRE THEM. I found a new place and needed to move in a few weeks - from the Castro to the Mission. Sam at OnTrack was super engaged and helpful, so I went with them and I'm so glad I did! My two movers - Sergio Camacho and Santiago Nazario - showed up on time and were MACHINES! They wrapped everything and moved me out of my 3rd floor walk-up and into my 1st floor walk-up in about 3 hours total (including drive time between apartments, moving, unwrapping and placing items in the right rooms and cleaning up the wrapping, blankets, etc.) Both movers were super-nice and friendly, couldn't have asked for a better team. I was really freaked out because it was my first move in nearly 10 years but it was incredibly smooth and painless. read more

My family used Ontrack to move from CA to Oregon. After hearing horror stories from friends about their intrastate moving experiences, I was determined to find an honest company that would treat our items with respect. These are the reasons I went with Ontrack: No truck sharing = no multiple addresses to coordinate delivery. Clear pricing that was set (two trucks at up to a max weight was the price, all transport fees and moving services [like taking apart furniture, wrapping it, putting it back together] were included). There were no hidden costs like transportation or use of materials fees. They were clear on the dates, and the $$ due for deposit, and what would be due at pickup and drop-off. Ontrack will even lend wardrobe boxes, so you can put your hung clothes in them when they arrive, which makes unpacking much easier. I have two BIG compliments to give. The first goes to Alex for giving us an accurate estimate. I had SEVERAL companies come to do estimates. The trucks have regulatory weight limits for long distance, so weight estimates matter because they determine how many trucks you need. I got weight estimates from 16,000 to 32,000 pounds, all from companies with good reviews and BB ratings. (Seriously.) This is the difference between 2 and 3 trucks, which amounts to a huge price difference. Alex estimated we were around their two truck limit (26K). He let us know we close, and they'd have to weigh as they loaded to make sure we didn't go over. He stated he could not guarantee it would all fit in 2 trucks, and offered 3rd truck prices, but didn't push or try to upsell. Unlike other companies I spoke to, Ontrack had scales to bring to our home so they could weigh on the spot. Because Alex seemed more knowledgeable, (and my gut told me he was right), I went with Ontrack. More great customer service = After I let them know I was only able to pay for 2 trucks and may need to leave some items behind, they helped me by telling me which items would be the heaviest and agreed to hold on loading items I tagged as "less important" until we were sure they go could. They did not make me feel bad for this; in fact, I felt like they were on my side and doing what they could to make it work for us. Based on Alex's estimate we gave away/sold a few heavy furniture items before the move... and, good news! we were just able to fit in everything we had left. So, Alex was right on - we would have been slightly overweight, and after getting rid of a few pieces were just under. My second big compliment is to an Ontrack Manager, Paul. There was a scale malfunction while they were loading. They called Paul and he responded right away; driving out to our distant location to fix it. During the loading, the movers were respectful of our home and property. They worked hard and efficient, but without being reckless. The trucks were packed neatly and tight. The drop off occurred on time. I could not be there until later in the day and Ontrack worked with us by agreeing to start unloading before we arrived (my Real Estate agent came to let them in). Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues during unloading. The crew seemed rushed, as a result some boxes were left in the wrong rooms, a few were upside down, some furniture was not unwrapped/reassembled, and there were a few other mishaps. I'd still recommend Ontrack and use them again. Why? Because the majority of the move went well, their rate was competitive, and I believe the problems at the drop-off were limited to one or two guys in a rush. When I contacted Ontrack to share my frustrations, Manger Paul jumped in again. He called me personally to discuss my concerns and offered several options to ensure all was remedied. He even offered to send someone (6.5 hours away by drive) to move the boxes back to the right rooms and a do a few other fixes... which was over and beyond what was necessary. So, I definitely would recommend them - not everything can be perfect every time, but how a company resolves any errors demonstrates their heart. Thanks Ontrack Moving read more

Today Eduardo and Federico are assigned by OnTrack. They are great together and loaded everything in no time. Also took care of furnitures that needed care and attention. They are dedicated towards providing value and good service to the customer and quick with their work. Also no dramas and just work : loading unloading. Me and my wife happy with their service. I researched several companies and I choose Ontrack Moving due to good prices and rating. I set up the moving date with Sam and he was very good at explaining things and replying to my emails. I also needed a certificate of insurance from the movers to provide my building management and Sam did all of it in time. On moving day I received a call from Matt 40 minutes in advance as promised. He arrived with Sammy and together they proceeded to wrap my furniture and load it in the truck. Once we got to my new place in San Francisco they proceeded with the unloading. Going up the stairs did not seem to be a problem at all! They maintain an upbeat attitude at all times making sure every was where I wanted to be. Awesome communication an excellent experience!! Update: I had a really lovely conversation with someone from OnTrack who worked hard to make sure that I understood that this is really not representative of their work- which I really believe. I think this was an off day for an off team. They are sending someone to make sure our kids bunk bed is put together correctly- and I really appreciate their customer service. The day didn't go how I planned, but at least I won't look back on it and get upset. I did a lot of research in hopes of having a really smooth moving day- needless to say- that is not what we got. It started great- Juan was in charge of our team of three, they came bright an early and did great with all the boxes- I thought we were totally on track- then everything fell apart. Moving each piece of furniture took forever, we asked them to take apart the bed and bunk bed, and pieces were all over the place (this one will come back to haunt us)- then there was a couch debacle that I won't put on the movers (we realized later that our doorframe changed a little so- that's on us) but between that and all their inefficacies we were like four hours in on what was supposed to be a four hour move (and then it pushed into holiday traffic and made our drive time more than twice normal). When we got to our new house- they dinged our furniture, they dinged our walls, they spent like 40 minutes trying to remember how to put the bunkbed back together (the ladder is still not on right and two pieces are backwards....), they put our bed together going the wrong direction and then we had to ask them to move it again. By the time we hit HOUR 7 I started moving wardrobe boxes back into their truck, and taking small furniture out. Eventually when I noticed them putting our shelves back together wrong side out and putting our couch cushions on backwards I asked them to wrap up and leave. We paid 2.5 times the estimate and I spent a solid part of the day crying. So not what I was hoping for. Oh I almost forgot - even though I asked about furniture assembly/disassembly they failed to bring any tools, not a screw driver, not a hex wrench, nothing. read more

It's been about 4 months now since we used their service. We wanted to tried a new mover, and our roommate told us that she got recommendation from a friend. Ontrack has a lot of good reviews on Yelp so we decided to use them, so as our roommate. They came promptly within time frame. 2 people came and started moving our stuff. They worked relatively fast, but too bad, they were not very careful with things. One of my shelves' parts fell apart(not broken), but the crew didn't assemble it back. He just put the parts on the table. I didn't tell him to put them together, but also he didn't care to ask me if I want to. When they were done with the moving, I assembled the shelves and found out that there were parts missing. Those parts were crucial to the shelves. I texted them to see if they were with the person that carried it. They were in his pocket, so he drove back after work to return them. Later on I also found that the part that held the TV stand shelf in place was also missing. I just feel like they could have done better. Take more cautious to everything they move especially little parts that come with the furniture. With my experience with them compare to other movers I've used, I wouldn't recommend this company unless you are willing to micro manage the move. read more
