Ordered delivery - short ribs plate and katsu plate. Well my katsu plate didnt come w katsu sauce when i got my order. I called and asked if they served sauce with their chicken katsu and they said yes we do and so i said well i just got my order and theres not katsu sauce. She kind of giggled which irritated me a little and so i had to drive back up there and walk in just to get my sauce when the whole point was to have it delivered the right way. They had no problem packing hot sauce, but why would u forget the sauce that comes with the plate? Otherwise, itd just be fried chicken over rice right. Ordered a mini grilled chicken combo. It took 8 minutes (not bad) but included a termite or flee-- no joke-- in the macaroni salad. I promptly took it back and got a new one made that took 12 minutes to replace. I was kinda grossed out so perhaps it's my fault and I should have just gotten a refund. 1 Star for many reasons. I've eaten at several Ono Hawaiian BBQ locations but none of them have ever given me raw chicken. So I went to this location a few weeks ago and I was given raw chicken I didn't realize until I had already eaten a few pieces. I immediately returned the food and I was offered a refund or another plate at that point I was really grossed out and didn't want to risk it. I ended up getting really sick thanks to this chicken. Next I felt like they were stingy with the food. And last they gave my friend burned fish. I will say that the young lady that gave me my refund was polite. Overall food quality gets -5 stars. I ordered a bbq chicken with rice and no mac I've been ordering it this way from this place for almost a year I also ordered katsu and bbq chicken more mac less rice. I ordered at 8 picked up at 820 the close at 9. I get home shower open my plate and there are no veggies ok a mistake, I call and say wheres the vegies Brenda the manager says you said all rice I said I said rice no mac but whatever it's now 908 there closed I said how do we fix this she said we can give you a side of veggies I said now she said no tomorrow I said what am I gonna do with a side of veggies tomorrow let me talk to someone else she puts elnino on the phone which says the same thing I told him I want a new dinner he says are you gonna pay for a new dinner. I ordered a plate with a protein, rice and salad. I ordered to go but decided to eat a little while still in the restaurant. The salad dressing was drizzled over the top of the salad and when I reached the middle of the salad it was dry. I asked the cashier if they could add more dressing and he advised it would be 25 cents extra. He was very polite, but I find this to be disappointing. I asked for the manager Alma and she advised the same. I think this a ridiculous company policy to provide your customers with a half dry salad and then charge them for more. read more

The worst costumer service I've ever had!! First off I called in for take out, we asked the girl on the phone if we can use a "email" coupon and she said told us to just bring it in to verify it. My sister goes in and shows her the email and gives the promotion code, they tell her that they only accept paper coupon. Second thing, they didn't give us no sauce, no utensils, no napkins or plates! These should all be included if a person is ordering take out, it doesn't make no sense. Especially if a person is ordering "chicken Katsu" the sauce is suppose to be already be In there. We had to drive back to the location and grab sauces, which wasn't close at all. My family is hungry, our food is cold, and now we are all angry cause of the problem they gave us! Tiny servings, they stacked the plate with mostly lettuce! I'm very upset with this place. I just left after waiting 40 min for my food that never came. There were two girls in front cleaning since getting ready to leave was more important then keeping track of the customers who are waiting on there food. I understand that with a large order it takes time but all I ordered were two meals. So I go and ask the girl in front about my meals and she asked the cook's and they all look at each other with blank faces and whisper something to the girl and continue to laugh about idk what. Then she turns around without apologizing or an explanation or how much longer my food is gonna take and she just offers me a free drink to shut me up. That was after waiting 30 min!!!!! I must have seen 5 different customers receive there food and after an additional 10 min I had to ask for my refund because I seen the cook had just put the chicken I ordered on the grill. Got postmates from this place and it was terrible. They messed up my order after I paid extra for macaroni salad with mix salad and what I got was rice and mix salad. I didnt have a Yelp but I made one just for this. I ordered the "mini chicken teriyaki" since I enjoy chicken teriyaki bowls but it seemed that wasn't one of their options. Their teriyaki sauce was good but the actual chicken was way too chewy. They also seem to use every part of the chicken as there was a big chunk of just chicken skin as part of the plate. They also stuff it with it a lot of cabbage to make it seem big. For the size and quality for 7.89+tax it was definitely not worth the buy. I would recomend another spot. read more

I've been here a few times. The place is always clean and has an open kitchen so you can see your food being handled. A Health rating which is a HUGE plus. The reason I'm looking at cleanliness is the Hawaiian BBQ joint near my home got shut down for an infestation. Gross. Luckily, Ono is nearby. Food is always hot and good. They're not stingy with hot sauce and customer service is great. Plenty of parking as well. read more

Simply the worst service I have ever experienced. I made a grub hub Oder, after I while I noticed the order was not confirmed. So I called the restaurant, the rep said the system was broken and they will not fulfill the order. A few minutes later I get a phone call from grub hub saying my order was ready. It just sounds like the rep was too lazy to actually help out the customer. Once the order was delivered the driver handed me my order and it was only half of what I actually ordered. The driver informed me that she had spoken to the cashier and the store rep said that was all of my order. Like someone would actually pay $48 for 1 plate of bbq mix with Katsu a drink and a side macaroni salad. Grub hub was able to get some of my money back. But I wish I would have never ordered at all. Especially since what I received I threw away. The food didn't look good and had a odd taste. The only recommendation I would give this place, is to rethink the customer service. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Like literally called in to place my order for pickup. I SPECIFICALLY asked them if they could use a coupon in my email with the coupon code they said "come in with the coupon so we can verify your email" when I got there they said they cannot accept it because they only take paper coupons, so why didn't she say that on the phone? I called to talk to the manager because when I got home I didn't have ANY FORKS OR NAPKINS OR SAAAUCEE. The main thing that people eat with chicken katsu. When I called to tell the manager that they failed to give me any of those items on top of the not being able to use my coupon, he doesn't even apologize or try to accommodate for my inconvenience, he just keeps saying "You want to talk to Corp?" Like no I want you to train your employees correctly that's what I want! The cashier could have told me the sauce was "self-serve" but what's the dumb part about it as that if someone calls in to order or orders online, they should include forks, napkins, and sauce so you can take your food TO GO. Self serve sauce and forks and napkins are for customers who DINE IN. Worst customer service ever, never coming here again. Oh and they only give you like a little bit of meat and a lot of rice.
