Been here a handful of times and the food is really good especially their Chicken Katsu and Beef. I have to knock of points though as 3 times I've gotten food that was like lukewarm not even hot, it felt like a plate of leftovers. Beyond disappointed with the quality of food we were given on our last visit. I stopped in Saturday night 11/9 and picked up a Hawaiian chicken plate and a Half Katsu/Hawaiian chicken plate. When I got home I was in for surprise as they gave me what looked like leftover pieces of chicken that had been reheated and dried up. The chicken katsu was still pink and not edible. The portions were fair but for what it's worth, this would probably be a one and done trip for me. I think this is my new favorite Hawaiian chain as their portions to cost ratio is excellent. I wanted some island classic comfort food in yet another day of rain in Southern California, so I went with the chicken katsu and kalua pork. Also, they sometimes give out coupons and promos that make it a very good deal if it's BOGO or something like that. This time I got the seafood platter/combo, but substituted the bbq chicken for katsu chicken, which is my favorite. The flavor and taste is great, and it's definitely enough to share with another person (unless you eat a lot, then more power to you haha). At least it's way too much for just me. The service at this location is particularly good as I've come here later in the evening/night, and the employees are nicer than other food places around this time. I get that it's late and near closing, but you don't have to look angry at us. But I appreciate that this location seems to have generally friendly people. This was our first time at this location, the guy who took our order was very nice. I tried the Island Fire Chicken for the first time and I was so happy that I did, it was so good. The sauce was to die for. I know what to order next time and I'm not sharing. We normally order several plates and do family style. The only disappointment was on the Chicken Katsu plate, we asked that the mac salad be on the side, separately. When we got home we didn't get it. I should have checked. terrible experience. there is an online deal going on where u can order an aloha plate for $7. my mom went in person and showed the cashier a picture of the deal and the women told her that that specific aloha plate deal is only available for online ordering. i began to order the plate online but it was not letting me substitute the mix salad for macaroni salad, so my mom asked if there was any possible way to switch it in person since it wasn't letting me do it online to which the cashier said it was fine. once they called my name out my mom noticed that there was no macaroni salad. when she pointed it out to the cashier, the cashier said that they can only switch out the macaroni salad for the regular lunch plates and that "ur daughter must've known that". if my mom just showed u a picture of the aloha plate, then u knew that that's what i was ordering online. the cashier and the manager were both being incredibly rude. even when my mom asked for a refund the cashier said "the manager isn't going to do that". when i spoke to the manager i explained the situation and even she said the cashier "doesn't know anything". despite the mistake being their fault they refused to do anything to fix the situation. the name of the cashier is Priscilla, and the name of the manager is Alma. read more

Very unhappy with the service. I show up to pick up my PAID IN FULL meal, thanks to postmates, with my ID and credit card in hand and was told I still needed an order number. Then, after going back to my car and heading back in to the store I confidently pick up my order (since it was sitting there for about 10 mins prior to me showing up for pick up) after they read the order back to me and head home. I arrive home to a missing plate in my order. This was very frustrating because my order was literally read back to me before I put my hands on the bags and walked out of the facility.
