Came here with a friend for lunch while her vehicle was getting an oil change at Earnhardt Hyundai. We both got a combo that had teriyaki chicken, white rice, a cabbage salad, crab rangoons, & a large drink. The meal was really good with the exception of the salad. I wasn't very crazy about it but at least I tried it. They have Coke products, which anyone who knows me knows that right there scores big points with me since Coke Zero is my drink of choice. The customer service here is very good. Employees are happy & helpful & take pride in their work. The ambiance is bright & colorful as well as clean & inviting. I'll be a repeat customer when I'm in the area.

ONO? O-YES! It's slow livin on the island of Hawaii, but Ono Hawaiian BBQ is fast food island-style. You won't see workers dressed in grass skirts and coconuts; that would be a safety hazard and numerous lawsuits waiting to happen. However, the food does not disappoint as it is always fresh and flavorful. I appreciate that it is not the typical burger and fries joint. Yet the food can be enjoyed by all. Definitely a place that is good for families because they have items like Teriyaki Chicken, Crispy Shrimp and Pork Katsu that are all crowd-pleasers. Salad with the Sesame Ginger dressing is so simple yet refreshing. If you haven't had the macaroni salad, then you are missing out because it is a staple on the island and it is done right here on the mainland. This place even has a drive thru. Order ahead online and pick up so you don't have to drag the family out of the car. Unlike Yoko Ono, Ono Hawaiian BBQ makes you want to come back for more. Ono lives up to it's Hawaiian meaning, '"delicious, tasty, savory; to relish, crave; deliciousness, flavor, savor' Ono will have you saying 'Oh Yes!'

If you're looking for a solid Hawaiian comfort food fix, Ono Hawaiian BBQ really delivers! I got the BBQ Chicken plate, and everything hit just right! The chicken was tender, juicy, and had that delicious smoky-charred flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweet-savory sauce. The rice was sticky and fluffy--just how I like it--and I added some extra sauce on top (always add extra sauce) for that flavor boost. And the mac salad? Creamy, cool, and super satisfying (who knew that Mac salad would go with this). It balanced the plate beautifully. Generous portions, fast service, and consistently good food. Whether you're new to Hawaiian BBQ or it's your go-to, Ono always brings that aloha flavor, and it's always on point. 100%. Highly recommend if you're craving something hearty, tasty, and quick! Will definitely be back for another plate soon! Mahalo, Ono Hawaiian!

My bf and I came here yesterday for lunch. I had the chicken and beef combo which came with the macaroni salad, rice, and veggies. Sooo good! My bf had the katsu plate with beef, rice, and veggies. He tore it up. The service was nice but didn't call out our order and just had our food sitting for a minute but it was still delicious. Nice sized portions and yummy. I'll be back.

Who doesn't like a good plate lunch?? We ordered takeout from Ono before and really like how they cook their chicken and kalbi! We had recently come by for pick up from over the weekend and placed it. We did have to wait an additional 10 minutes for our pick-up, but the wait wasn't too bad, and they were very busy. The mac salad is fairly decent, but the chicken is so good. Either way, this location seems to have become more busy, so prepare for that

The food was great, and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend. - The whitefish was worth the wait, which wasn't that long.

It had been quite some time since I had last been, and my most recent visit didn't disappoint. Every time I've ever been here, it's always been busy during the dinner rush, but service has always remained quick and attentive. It certainly isn't what I would call a "fine dining" experience, but it's upscale enough and has good enough food to feel like a meaningful night out with family, friends, or your partner. For an appetizer, we enjoyed their bread and butter, which was fantastic. The bread also came with olive oil and seasonings to dip it in, which was also very tasty. For dinner, I enjoyed their grilled cod with French and sweet potato fries, as well as coleslaw. While the fish was slightly overcooked, the meal overall was still delicious, filling , and well worth the trip back to High Tide. Definitely swing in if you've never been!

I had ice tea and wife ordered the blood orange jenny drink; both were great and refreshing! I also ordered a loaf of their warmed sourdough and butter to share with the table. Almost like being in San Francisco! For dinner we decided to share a couple of things; the crab cakes, which comes with fried avocado and some of the best aioli for dipping. The cakes themselves are big and full of crab with just the right amount of filling to create a decadent and moist cake! We also shared the seared jumbo scallops...High Tides knows how to cook scallops to the best! So yummy and tender and perfectly cooked with that crispy outer and the soft, creamy inside. We also shared a Caesar salad and one of the things we love about this place...ask and you can get some fresh anchovy on the side to add to the salad. Wife always asks for more lemon as well to drizzle over the salad. Overall a fantastic dinner for us and everyone with us!

My friend and I met for lunch at Hooked Seafood Grill on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too busy,…read moreso we were able to grab a table and order pretty quickly. They have a pretty basic menu, with some appetizers, and then all seafood options are available to be ordered as salads, tacos, sandwiches, and platters. My friend ordered the Garlic Butter Red Snapper sandwich and I got two tacos, one shrimp & one fried fish. We also got a side of fries (paid extra as there are no sides that come with the sandwich). My friend said her sandwich was pretty good, a bit messy to eat but had good flavors. That was the least expensive sandwich option, which was already a bit of a steep cost, the other were even more. If it came with fries or another side, it might have been a better deal. The additional side of fries we ordered were good though, nothing special, but nice and crispy as you'd want. While there was nothing inherently wrong with the tacos, it is interesting that all options have the same toppings (cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and white sauce); the protein is the only thing that's different. The fish was fried well and crispy, shrimp was pretty basic. There was a lot of cabbage and not enough sauce so I had asked for additional dressing on the side so I could basically eat the taco like a mini salad. The restaurant is nice and service was good while we were there. We had gotten soda and our server checked in on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we wanted. I'd order something else next time, like maybe the larger plate (with protein, rice, and salad) or just a traditional fish & chips basket that comes with coleslaw. Hoping for a better food experience in the future!

(And yes, that includes this morning when I drove all the way across town like a woman on a seafood mission.) This is the kind of business I love to support...small, family-owned, and absolutely passionate about what they do. Jim and his crew catch the fish themselves in Alaska, get it packaged and flown to Arizona, and then somehow manage to bring coastal-level freshness right into the middle of the desert. You'll usually spot him at Uptown Farmer's Market (bring a cooler...you'll want to stock up), but he also shows up roadside now and then like a seafood fairy godfather. And he's delivered larger orders right to my door in the past. Who does that anymore?! Jim does. Favorites? Halibut, cod, red snapper, and the smoked salmon which is basically a religious experience. Oh...and halibut cheeks. Trust me. A total delicacy. Never to be forgotten! The fish is always firm, clean, fresh, and so flavorful it barely needs seasoning. Jim's even been known to share a killer recipe if you're not sure what to make. Tonight? Halibut's on the menu and I might be eating early...because I've been craving it for weeks.
