My first time here: I will definitely be back and wish there was one closer to home. I decided to check this out after a doctor appointment heading back home due to the massive closure of all Salad & Go. Apparently, the original owners sold to a private equity firm 5-6years ago and those owners started the Angie's. All this girl wants is a practical healthy salad on the go. I can't stand fast-food chains version of salads and this is why I was Salads & Go's hugest fan. The quality got crappy the last several years and prices just went insane. I stopped here and had no idea what to do, lol. There is a QR code to order from your phone so I proceeded with that method while in the drive-thru. I find it funny that they have posted statements about their method of service noting that they don't mean to be rude. Reading other comments posted here complaining about the lack of customer service is entertaining. They strive for an automated service which I appreciate but can also see how this can also repel those who are social chatter bugs and even the senior population.... Possibly first-timers too ‍ I ordered the Chicken Greek Salad. This is my favorite meal of all time. It's the one thing I can eat over and over. Yes, I will miss that creamy feta Greek dressing from Salad & Go but their traditional Greek dressing here is also amazing. What was the best part was the grilled chicken!! It was perfect! The entire salad was fresh and the perfect size! I hate when establishments push huge portions and want you to pay astronomical prices. People don't need to eat that much and it's such a waste of food and money. I got this salad all under $6 with taxes and all. That's the way it should be- a perfectly size healthy fresh meal and on the go!! The part that made me especially happy is the packaging! The salad comes in an environmentally friendly container; just the plastic lid and I'm sure they chose that for aesthetic purposes so that you can see it immediately. I enjoy eating at Angie's Prime Grill, especially their salads and the honey chili ranch--it's really good. However, almost every time I order, something is missing or made incorrectly. I usually ask for half romaine and half rice. The last two times they forgot to add the rice, and today when I ordered, I didn't receive the romaine lettuce at all. The food itself is great, but the repeated mistakes with my order have been frustrating. I am not from the area, but very amazed of how this kind of concept exists. California does not have anything like Angie's Lobster and they do it very well. A concept of fast-food lobster rolls with fries and a drink for a small price is a STEAL! Unfortunately, the prices have skyrocketed in such a short time and my last experience was not great. They have a drive-through system, but can also be ordered for pickup.The menu expands with the other types of foods they carry. The lobster roll can be purchased by itself or with a combo. With the combo you get fries and a drink. My previous times the food came out delicious. It was plentiful in meat, hot, and crispy fries. However, the most recent time I went to the lobster meat was lacking. They were shredded and not as plentiful as other occasions. Additionally, I had cold fries with some undercooked ones. Maybe it was a bad day, but undercooked food is never okay. Although the price is still fair for what you get, it has considerably increased within a short time. Came here for a crab roll. Drove up, you now have to scan for the full menu. Crab roll is no longer available. Only the lobster roll, but it seems the price increased to $15.99 not including fries and a drink. I ordered the fried cod sandwich meal. The cod wasn't great. Didn't taste like it was freshly made. Fries were inedible. Tasted like day old fries. Super hard (see pic). Ordered sweet tea, wasn't sweet. I'm just sad about the changes and quality especially at this location. Never again! read more

Angie's Lobster has officially lost a loyal customer due to what should have been a simple, professional fix--but instead turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I went through the drive-through and ordered four meals: two warm lobster meals and two salads. As I pulled away, I reached for a fry and noticed it was ice cold. I touched the lobster roll and it was barely room temperature. We had just left the window. I immediately turned around, parked, and walked up to the walk-up window to calmly explain that the food was cold to the touch. The first young man I spoke to seemed confused and unsure how to handle it. Then a young woman came up. I asked if she was a manager--she said no, but claimed she could handle anything. I explained again that the hot meals had been served cold. She took the food inside and came back saying, "I'll make an exception this one time..." An exception? For remaking food that was improperly served cold? At that point, I was completely disenchanted and asked for a refund instead. That's when things got even worse. She had no idea how to process a refund and had to FaceTime her manager, who wasn't on site. She read him the last four digits of my credit card over the phone so he could issue the refund remotely. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I asked for the name and contact number of the manager, and was told they don't give out his number. I then asked for a corporate phone number and was told I'd need to go on their website and look up the Angie's Lobster Customer Service email myself. There were so many things wrong with this situation--lack of accountability, poor service, no manager present, and no direct line for support. I was completely blown off. I won't be back. read more

When they get your order correct it is normally pretty good. The more concepts added to this location, the worse it has gotten. This location only has a drive thru. The line wasn't very long. You pull up to a preview menu board and decide what you want. Then you pull up to a kiosk and order. The order is taken by a live person over a microphone and you pay right there. I ordered a warm lobster roll and a warm snow crab roll. You can order a la carte or a meal. They both came with warm melted butter packets. Both sandwiches were loaded with lobster and crab so they do not skimp on ingredients here. I was very impressed with both sandwiches. I've had Angie's before in Vegas, but this was my first time having it here in Arizona. It was just as delicious as I remembered! With it being Lent season right now, I'm always looking for seafood/vegetarian food options I can eat on Fridays. When I pulled up, there was a fairly long line at the drive thru. But I must say it moved way faster than I thought it would. For a $13 lobster roll, including fries and a drink, this place is amazingly good. There is a good amount of lobster in the sandwich, and the bread itself is nice and soft. I love how each roll comes with butter on the side so you can control how buttery you want your roll to be. This is the Angie's 2nd location I have been to and I have noticed that friendly customer service does not exist here. I've done both drive thru and walk up (ordered online). This recent visit, I ordered online and chose to pickup my orders at the window. The window person was rude and basically just tossed my bag out. She didn't say hi nor could she force herself to smile. Such a weird and uncomfortable interaction..... The food was really good. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, chicken cobb bowl, and a chicken Mexican bowl. Everything was delicious and the portions were great for the price. The salad was very fresh and crisp. The bowls were warm and had so much flavor, mmm. I'm glad this place exists as the food is good and the prices are even better. They do everything to keep prices low which is unheard of these days. Spent an hour trapped in the drive way to just order. After ordering it took an additional 15 minutes to get food. The staff placed the items on the counter and said nothing to me. I had to sit there for an additional 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to the window because I only had 3/4 items. I was missing a snackadilla. The cheese on this quesadilla was not melted I had to wrap it up and wait for it to be slightly melted and there was hardly any cheese. I didn't get the Angie's sauce after being in the drive thru for over one hour I didn't know how much longer I would have to wait for someone else to come to the window. Not to mention they do not provide a receipt at all. You don't see what you're paying for when you order or even the amount you are paying at the self pay in the drive thru and they don't give you a receipt with your food unless you ask. Pound for pound, Angie's hits. This lobster roll is the same quality you'd pay $30 (for a single roll) for in a sit down seafood restaurant. The buns were perfectly crisp and there were big chunks of legit lobster. Crab roll was good too but the lobster if obviously where it's at. The service was pretty quick, like any other drive thru. I've been out of town for months and couldn't wait to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. sadly it was so disappointing I'm not sure I will try again. the wait was horrendous, ordered online while sitting in line to speed up my order, that didn't help at all.
