My first time here: I will definitely be back and wish there was one closer to home. I decided to check this out after a doctor appointment heading back home due to the massive closure of all Salad & Go. Apparently, the original owners sold to a private equity firm 5-6years ago and those owners started the Angie's. All this girl wants is a practical healthy salad on the go. I can't stand fast-food chains version of salads and this is why I was Salads & Go's hugest fan. The quality got crappy the last several years and prices just went insane. I stopped here and had no idea what to do, lol. There is a QR code to order from your phone so I proceeded with that method while in the drive-thru. I find it funny that they have posted statements about their method of service noting that they don't mean to be rude. Reading other comments posted here complaining about the lack of customer service is entertaining. They strive for an automated service which I appreciate but can also see how this can also repel those who are social chatter bugs and even the senior population.... Possibly first-timers too ‍ I ordered the Chicken Greek Salad. This is my favorite meal of all time. It's the one thing I can eat over and over. Yes, I will miss that creamy feta Greek dressing from Salad & Go but their traditional Greek dressing here is also amazing. What was the best part was the grilled chicken!! It was perfect! The entire salad was fresh and the perfect size! I hate when establishments push huge portions and want you to pay astronomical prices. People don't need to eat that much and it's such a waste of food and money. I got this salad all under $6 with taxes and all. That's the way it should be- a perfectly size healthy fresh meal and on the go!! The part that made me especially happy is the packaging! The salad comes in an environmentally friendly container; just the plastic lid and I'm sure they chose that for aesthetic purposes so that you can see it immediately. They also post about not accepting bag/utensils/etc if not needed. Something I opt out when I'm taking it directly home or it's for work where I had silverware on hand. read more

The food is good here as expected at Angie's. They got a nice variety to their menu of burritos, salads, sandwiches and plenty other items. The quality of the food is overall good too as I can tell it's organic and fresh. However, here's where the criticisms come in to why I am giving a 3/5. My family and I ordered our meal at 5:45 and was supposed to be ready by 6:05. We get there at 6:07 and it's not ready yet. Even though we weren't the only one's waiting as there was plenty others waiting outside for their meals too, it took them like 20 mins to get our food ready so we can leave. While it was still warm and flavorful, it was not good with how long it took to get our food. I understand that it is hard when you're low on staff or can only make so much at once. But it's not good to lie to customers like that when their meals should be ready. In the end, good but needs to be improved with the flow and making process. read more

This is 100% based on service alone. I don't remember being this pissed off picking up food from an online order. It let me know my pickup window was 6pm-6:10pm. I arrive at 6:05 and didn't get my order until 6:40pm! I ordered protein bowls. Not even a damn lobster roll which made it even more frustrating. Imagine waiting outside in 100+ degree weather! Never coming back here again. read more

The lobster roll was awful. The bread was old it fell apart. Wasn't toasted and lobster did not taste fresh. Worst $18 spent. Please get bread that can hold the lobster! The spicy chicken bowl was much better than the sandwich. Probably won't be back. Definitely can't recommend for the lobster sandwich. read more

Ugh , hate the fact that you can't use cash , have to order from a kiosk, & no indoor dining! It feels as like you're just a number with credit treating everyone like a robot! . It's like ordering from a vending machine! Not cool read more

I was pretty disappointed with the lack of flexibility here. I ordered a salad and a drink for myself, then asked if I could also purchase a side of the sweet potatoes they already serve for my two-year-old granddaughter. The answer was simply, "No, we can't do that." I wasn't asking for anything unusual or expecting something for free. The sweet potatoes are already there, already being served as part of other menu items, and I was more than happy to pay for a small side. It just seems unnecessarily rigid to tell a paying customer that they can't purchase a side of an ingredient you already serve--especially when it was simply something I wanted to feed my two-year-old granddaughter. Sometimes good customer service is just about having a little common sense and flexibility. This should have been an incredibly simple request. Love their salads. Not loving their lack of flexibility and lack of good customer service. I'm actually confused more after the fact! I read the list of side orders from the menu, then asked for a side and abruptly told they can't. What!?!? Super annoying! Now off to find something else to feed my granddaughter.... read more

No....no, no, no, no, NO! I have visited this place multiple times... ALWAYS delicious, valuable, quality food. Now....$40 for two (20 each).... grilled lobster burritos...... with very little.... Angie's Lobster - See all of that Lobster? Yeah, me neither. - Seafood Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I am not from the area, but very amazed of how this kind of concept exists. California does not have anything like Angie's Lobster and they do it very well. A concept of fast-food lobster rolls with fries and a drink for a small price is a STEAL! Unfortunately, the prices have skyrocketed in such a short time and my last experience was not great. They have a drive-through system, but can also be ordered for pickup. The menu expands with the other types of foods they carry. The lobster roll can be purchased by itself or with a combo. With the combo you get fries and a drink. My previous times the food came out delicious. It was plentiful in meat, hot, and crispy fries. However, the most recent time I went to the lobster meat was lacking. They were shredded and not as plentiful as other occasions. Additionally, I had cold fries with some undercooked ones. Maybe it was a bad day, but undercooked food is never okay. Although the price is still fair for what you get, it has considerably increased within a short time. A great concept that seems to be deteriorating and hopefully worked on. read more

Angie's Lobster has officially lost a loyal customer due to what should have been a simple, professional fix--but instead turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I went through the drive-through and ordered four meals: two warm lobster meals and two salads. As I pulled away, I reached for a fry and noticed it was ice cold. I touched the lobster roll and it was barely room temperature. We had just left the window. I immediately turned around, parked, and walked up to the walk-up window to calmly explain that the food was cold to the touch. The first young man I spoke to seemed confused and unsure how to handle it. Then a young woman came up. I asked if she was a manager--she said no, but claimed she could handle anything. I explained again that the hot meals had been served cold. She took the food inside and came back saying, "I'll make an exception this one time..." An exception? For remaking food that was improperly served cold? At that point, I was completely disenchanted and asked for a refund instead. That's when things got even worse. She had no idea how to process a refund and had to FaceTime her manager, who wasn't on site. She read him the last four digits of my credit card over the phone so he could issue the refund remotely. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I asked for the name and contact number of the manager, and was told they don't give out his number. I then asked for a corporate phone number and was told I'd need to go on their website and look up the Angie's Lobster Customer Service email myself. There were so many things wrong with this situation--lack of accountability, poor service, no manager present, and no direct line for support. I was completely blown off. I won't be back. read more

I went here the other day and this place is just not the same. I ordered a lobster roll and then they tell me they couldn't heat it up for some reason anyway I got the lobster roll and I smelled very fishy even inside the bag. It didn't taste right, but thank God I didn't get food poisoning. I would never go back here. read more

Came here for a crab roll. Drove up, you now have to scan for the full menu. Crab roll is no longer available. Only the lobster roll, but it seems the price increased to $15.99 not including fries and a drink. I ordered the fried cod sandwich meal. The cod wasn't great. Didn't taste like it was freshly made. Fries were inedible. Tasted like day old fries. Super hard (see pic). Ordered sweet tea, wasn't sweet. I'm just sad about the changes and quality especially at this location. Never again! read more

They raised their prices and gave me less food lol. Used to be 12.99 for a MEAL. Now I have just a lobster roll that easily fits in the palm of my hand. 4.99 to upgrade to what they used to be. My total was 17$ for JUST the lobster roll. I am rolling. I've been a loyal customer since they opened. I will not be coming back anymore. So disappointed. And now they place it on the outside counter and there's no napkin dispenser anymore and the window closes so you can't even ask for them. These changes are insane. read more

Horrible energy. Every time I go to this location the girls inside are cussing at customers and saying all sorts of nasty stuff and literally screaming at one old lady. Idk if they just literally have no standards for customer service or what but even with the window closed y'all are talking sh*t and being nasty so loud you can still hear it. I honestly can't stand this restaurant don't get all the hype. Hope it shuts down. read more

Prices on their menu showed $3.99 for their crunch wrap. They said it was for a promo that was over. They charged $8.49. When I asked for the posted price they refused. It is 4 days past the promotion and still not corrected. Regardless, price used to be around $5.00. Very disappointed with their service. Definitely will not be returning. Also, takes 10+ minutes for one wrap. Good bye Angie's Lobster. read more

What a treat. Ordered a Greek salad and was pleasantly surprised when I received my order. The chicken was sliced grilled chicken and not the mush from the other salad option in town. All the vegetables were fresh and tasty. The Greek dressing was excellent. Ice tea was fresh and served cold. I went for lunch and thinking about going back for dinner. Only negative was that there was no napkin. read more

This location only has a drive thru. The line wasn't very long. You pull up to a preview menu board and decide what you want. Then you pull up to a kiosk and order. The order is taken by a live person over a microphone and you pay right there. I ordered a warm lobster roll and a warm snow crab roll. You can order a la carte or a meal. They both came with warm melted butter packets. Both sandwiches were loaded with lobster and crab so they do not skimp on ingredients here. I was very impressed with both sandwiches. They both had good flavor and insanely affordable! read more

I've had Angie's before in Vegas, but this was my first time having it here in Arizona. It was just as delicious as I remembered! With it being Lent season right now, I'm always looking for seafood/vegetarian food options I can eat on Fridays. When I pulled up, there was a fairly long line at the drive thru. But I must say it moved way faster than I thought it would. For a $13 lobster roll, including fries and a drink, this place is amazingly good. There is a good amount of lobster in the sandwich, and the bread itself is nice and soft. I love how each roll comes with butter on the side so you can control how buttery you want your roll to be. Thank you Angie, I will definitely be back for the following Fridays this Lent season! read more

I enjoy eating at Angie's Prime Grill, especially their salads and the honey chili ranch--it's really good. However, almost every time I order, something is missing or made incorrectly. I usually ask for half romaine and half rice. The last two times they forgot to add the rice, and today when I ordered, I didn't receive the romaine lettuce at all. The food itself is great, but the repeated mistakes with my order have been frustrating. I'm hoping they can pay closer attention to the details because I really do like their salads and would love to keep coming back. read more

This is the Angie's 2nd location I have been to and I have noticed that friendly customer service does not exist here. I've done both drive thru and walk up (ordered online). This recent visit, I ordered online and chose to pickup my orders at the window. The window person was rude and basically just tossed my bag out. She didn't say hi nor could she force herself to smile. Such a weird and uncomfortable interaction..... The food was really good. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, chicken cobb bowl, and a chicken Mexican bowl. Everything was delicious and the portions were great for the price. The salad was very fresh and crisp. The bowls were warm and had so much flavor, mmm. I'm glad this place exists as the food is good and the prices are even better. They do everything to keep prices low which is unheard of these days. But a smile and being friendly is free, and they should maybe instill that into their employees. read more

Fast food it's not. I waited 30+ minutes for my turn in my car burning fuel and spewing smog into the atmosphere for a meal seems inappropriate to me, especially at the current prices charged. What keeps me coming back is the food is good though over priced. But everything has increased in price so I can't hold that against them. read more

When they get your order correct it is normally pretty good. The more concepts added to this location, the worse it has gotten. The past three or four times that I have been they have messed up our order. Either forgetting a bowl entirely or messing something up. I went today and ordered a warm bowl and it was completely cold and they forgot my fries with it. Their old breakfast menu was amazing and I'm sad they changed it read more

I ordered a teriyaki type of bowl from Angie's and thought it was pretty good. A little different than your traditional teriyaki bowl but still good. Kind of weird that you order at a box and then have to pay with a credit card at another box but that's the way they do things. Overall, I'd go back and try something else. Definitely worth a try. read more

Spent an hour trapped in the drive way to just order. After ordering it took an additional 15 minutes to get food. The staff placed the items on the counter and said nothing to me. I had to sit there for an additional 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to the window because I only had 3/4 items. I was missing a snackadilla. The cheese on this quesadilla was not melted I had to wrap it up and wait for it to be slightly melted and there was hardly any cheese. I didn't get the Angie's sauce after being in the drive thru for over one hour I didn't know how much longer I would have to wait for someone else to come to the window. Not to mention they do not provide a receipt at all. You don't see what you're paying for when you order or even the amount you are paying at the self pay in the drive thru and they don't give you a receipt with your food unless you ask. So if you were over charged you would never know until you looked at your bank statement. read more

I got the warmed lobster roll meal, it was around $13 without tax. It came with fries and a drink (choice of soda, coffee, or iced tea). The buns of the roll were toasted SO well. Buttery and crispy like the Cane's Chicken bread. This roll comes with a Thousand Island-like sauce and butter. There is actually a lot of lobster meat. Is it super tender and flavorful Michelin star quality? No but for the price it is acceptable and not bad quality meat. The fries are delicious. Just classic. read more

We went to Angies for the first time last week. I was happy with the full salads. It is 20 miles away from us, but my dear Salad n Go is gone, so we bought 4 salads to eat in two days. Two cobbs, and 2 Greeks. We went again last night to buy the same again. We do mobile orders. We waiting in line for over 45 min. We had our pick up time for 5:40-5:45 didn't get our order until around 6:30-6:40. When we got home, my husband's salads were ok. Mine were ridiculous. Both my salads, barely 1/4 full, 5 pieces of chicken, which is not my concern as much as the amount. All that drive, hoping it to be worth it. I will not be doing that again. This was the Signal Butte and Guadalupe. VERY VERY disappointed. The lettuce was pretty wilted, not anything like Salad n Go. I didn't realize that you could order mixed greens in your salad. Salad n Go it was defaulted to mix greens. read more

The rolls are now $17 ea. Less meat than ever. Rolls dried out one could choke on it. The butter now includes spices and lemon. Likely to give it something that resembles flavor. Pound for pound, Angie's hits. This lobster roll is the same quality you'd pay $30 (for a single roll) for in a sit down seafood restaurant. The buns were perfectly crisp and there were big chunks of legit lobster. Crab roll was good too but the lobster if obviously where it's at. The service was pretty quick, like any other drive thru. Butter is good but the Angie's sauce was really good, like a mix between tartar and thousand island. The fries were okay but who's really going to this place for the fries? Is it presented like you'd see in a restaurant? No, but that's okay because this place fills a niche that doesn't really exist anywhere else. The experience is almost like ordering a prime rib in a drive thru, it's not going to be the experience you might be used to when you go out for prime rib, but that doesn't mean it's not great. Word to the wise, just because the price isn't equivalent to what you might be used to for lobster roll, doesn't mean these are small portions, I tapped out with one of each. read more

I love Angie's BUT NOT THIS LOCATION. The food is always great and well-priced but the service is TERRIBLE. Items are semi-frequently forgotten. We stopped here for dinner last night. I ordered the warm lobster roll combo. My wife ordered the sweet potato and chicken bowl. Pretty cool as far as ordering goes. It's cashless so you need to have a credit card or order on the app to be able to pay for your food. The lobster roll was tasty but I thought it was a little bit on the small side. The fries were just average at best. It was $13.99 for the lobster roll combo which isn't bad considering the amount of lobster that was on the sandwich. I will try them again for sure. Might not get lobster next time though. They have fish, shrimp and clams also. In addition to the bowl they have. read more
