Hand-Cut Sirloin topped with 3 grilled shrimp with a side of broccoli and loaded cheddar cheese and bacon steak fries

Had a date night here the other night and had a fantastic experience! We were seated right away, our food came out in a timely manner and our waitress was very nice and attentive. We even had a manager check on us. The only thing is, as food connoisseurs, my boyfriend and I make the best tasting steak I've ever had at home! No restaurant compares, although I will always love Texas Roadhouse for the vibes!

Our grandsons and their Dad wanted to eat here. We vaguely recalled going to Texas Roadhouse in Mesa some years back. Son-in-law told us that Texas Roadhouse recently had a fire. Instead of refurbishing it, they tore it down and built another one not far from the original one. The ambiance says "roadhouse" with lots of wood on the walls and country music playing. It does get loud when they're busy. We were here on a crazy busy Saturday night. Fortunately, son-in-law called ahead and when we arrived, we were seated almost immediately. I was quite surprised as I expected a wait. Once seated, our server came by in a timely fashion to take our drink orders. We all got soft drinks except for my husband who had a beer. When the drinks came, so did some fresh rolls with butter on the side. These rolls had a hint of sweetness and were soft. For our dinners, I got the 6oz. Dallas filet with a house salad and a loaded baked potato. My husband got the 6oz. Dallas filet with a side of corn and a side of green beans. Our son-in-law got the strip steak with a house salad and mashed potatoes. One grandson got the beef tips with gravy and mashed potatoes. The other two grandsons got grilled bbq chicken and a sirloin steak. The food here was good. The kitchen did a great job keeping on top of orders and getting them out quickly. I put Texas Roadhouse in the same category as Outback and Longhorn as they have similar menus. In other words a steak dinner without paying upscale steak house prices.

I called to make a reservation for 10 people due to the website saying to call for party over 6 so that's exactly what I did. I called and ask if they could fit 11 people around 7 for my fiancé birthday and they said yes that's completely okay and told me they could get us A TABLE around 7:30-7:45. Everything goes good we arrive and wait for A TABLE and then the host sits us down in multiple booths facing back to each other, we were very confused since they said they could get us a table thinking we were all going to sit together, we kindly asked the manager if there was a way if we could all sit together and right away she gets overly aggressive and proceeds to argue with my pregnant sister about how it's not her problem that she doesn't have enough space and that they can't add tables together. We are sitting at different tables and get our food while we literally see a GROUP OF 11 be sat at a SINGLE EXTENDED TABLE.The manager name is Amber and I can't believe the type of service and attitude she gives while working in a hospitality industry. I will never ever come here again until Amber is gone because this is ridiculous!

Service was decent despite being crazy busy. I can't say that this was the best food i've ever had in my life but it was decent, especially for a chain.

Came in for an early dinner and the place was hopping.... Got us in within 5-10. Ins which was cool. Server was very nice and answered a couple questions we had on items, and ingredients. I chose the white meat chicken tenders with my favorite sweet potato and applesauce. Loved it all except the applesauce which totally tasted like the stuff out of a jar from the grocery store. I thought it maybe was jazzed up, or homemade. But now I know and I'll skip it next time. But other stuff was good. I'd order it again. Friend had a dish called "Roadkill" which she says was very tasty. I just kept laughing at the name.

This was our first stop in the Tempe area. We've been to another location and this one wasn't much different. Still very good and the employees are friendly and efficient.

How late are take orders for Christmas Eve?

Call the location. All stores/restaurants are closing different times.

Do they allow concealed / open carry firearms on the premises?

Hi there, sorry I do not know. I usually just do carry out to avoid paying more on tip.

    Free meal on my birthday?

Yes, if you register on their app ahead of you birthday month.

Does this location have a party/banquet room?

No, but they do have a somewhat separated Area that they could probably reserve for a large party- probably would hold 30 or so.

From the moment we sat down, the vibe was right, relaxed ambience, comfortable setting, and the kind of place where you can actually unwind and enjoy your meal without being rushed. The environment just feels good. Our waitress was awesome, attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without hovering. That kind of service makes all the difference and she nailed it. Now the food. Let me start with the real star of the show, the Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls. Golden, perfectly crispy panko crust on the outside, and when you bite in? Creamy mashed potato loaded with gooey melted cheese that literally stretches. Paired with that smooth cheese dipping sauce, these are dangerously addictive. I'd order a double next time without hesitation. The wings were incredible, and yes, I taste tested both the Garlic Parmesan AND the BBQ. The Garlic Parm had that rich, savory coating with a beautiful caramelized char. The BBQ brought a sweet, smoky glaze that had me licking my fingers. Both were meaty, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Honestly couldn't pick a favorite, you need both. I also grabbed a burger on a pretzel bun with bacon and sweet potato fries, stacked high, messy in the best way, and the pretzel bun held up like a champ. The Hub has that classic neighborhood grill vibe with quality that punches above its weight. Delicious food, generous portions, great service, and a relaxing spot to kick back. Will absolutely be back. Pro tip: Don't sleep on those mashed potato balls. Order them first. And get both wing flavors, thank me later.

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

There are so many breweries and pubs around here that there's pretty tough competition. As other reviewers have stated, their duck fat fries are great! So crispy and the herbs really elevate it. They can be a little heavy handed with the salt to the point where you may see salt piles on your fries, but at least the salt granules are larger and can be easily swept off. Although their fries are great on their own, they unfortunately struggle to strand up when loaded. I'm not sure how they do it, but we've been to places where fries can remain crispy even when loaded with toppings. Their poutine is still tasty though if you don't mind your fries soggy. Their burgers have great beefy flavor, but after trying a few of their burger options, my partner and I also feel that some other places do their unique burger stylings a bit better. A lot of the toppings overwhelm rather than contribute to the overall burger. There's plenty of searing both indoors and out. You have bar top, high table, and regular table style seating for indoors. There's plenty of 4 person tables outdoors under shade and also with misters on if it's hot out. Indoor seating offers plenty of viewing for sports. Service is also pleasant. Due to how they source their ingredients, the overall menu is on the pricier side. Although my partner and I prefer other breweries more, we do think it's still worth it to try visiting Arizona Wilderness Brewing at least once.

We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life.
