My sister had gone in the day before to get some stuff before she went home to the boonies. I got jelly when she sent me a pic of the lychee viral ice cream!! You KNOW I had to get it, so off I went, lol. Not only did I find them in stock, but they had a sale going. 2 boxes for $20. Regular price is $10.99/box, so it's not a while lot of savings, but hey, I'll take it! Plus, $10.99 is the cheapest I've seen locally for a box of 3! I let the secret out so now I can only hope they still have some next time I go! When I checked out, I asked the cashier how long the 2 for $20 deal was going on. She didn't know, so grab some.while you can. I share because I care! =) I was glad to see the store has wide aisles and wasn't crowded. Also, there's a big parking lot shared with neighboring businesses so it's not an issue. The store is clean and the employees get you in and out fast! Can't wait for my next run!

I probably missed some! Its fun to browse and definitely a great place to find items you can't find elsewhere. They carry fresh rice noodles, including the wide ones for drunken noodles - the whole reason I came! The produce section had great variety but strangely, neither the thai basil or the ginger I bought tasted like anything. I buy these all the time at other stores so not sure what that's about. Parking is easy!

They have so many options, and I love the variety of meats and other things you don't always find at other grocery stores. I would like to make a formal complaint regarding a cashier I encountered today…read more The incident happened on October 5, 2026, at approximately 6:08 PM. The cashier was an Asian woman working at Register/Checkout Lane #3, as confirmed by the supervisor. This was actually the second time I have encountered the same cashier, and unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. The first time, we purchased a large number of items. After scanning our purchases, she placed the items to the side and left us to bag everything ourselves. Even after the transaction was completed, there were still many items left to bag. She had already finished the checkout and had time to stand there waiting for us, but she did not offer to help. Today, we encountered her again. We actually tried to avoid having her check us out, but she ended up being our cashier again. Once again, she did not help us bag our purchases. We stood there waiting, and she simply stood there as well. Eventually, she told us, "You can just put them in there," making it clear that she expected us to do the bagging ourselves. I would like to ask: How are your cashiers trained in customer service? Is assisting customers with bagging not part of the expected customer service at your store? What concerns me even more is her overall attitude. There was no smile, no attempt to communicate with us, and no effort to provide basic customer service. I understand that different stores may have different policies regarding bagging, but basic courtesy and customer service should still be expected from someone working directly with customers. I have now encountered this employee twice, and both times I have had the same experience. If this continues to happen every time I come to your store, I will continue to report it. In my opinion, someone who consistently shows no warmth, makes no effort to communicate with customers, and does not provide basic customer service may simply not be suited for a customer-facing position. I hope management will take this complaint seriously, review the situation, and look into how this employee is being trained and whether she is meeting your store's customer service standards.

Theirs is the hot buttered with chives sprinkled on top and a bag of chips. There were Huge pieces of lobster meat and a lot of it. So much so that pieces fell out while trying to wrap my lips around it. I also bought a pound of Faroe Island Salmon that I'm excited to grill. It was very cool of the Tap Room (next door) to allow me to eat my lunch on their picnic tables outside without ordering a drink. I came after lunch so it wasn't busy. I won't sugar coat it, Nelson's is pricey. The roll was $34. However they have fish that you can't find elsewhere. The ahi tuna was beautiful but I already set my mind to the salmon. I was surprised they even had guanciale (pork jowel) which is sought after in Italian pasta dishes. It's a bit of a drive for me but next time I want a toasted buttery lobster roll I will come to Nelson's!

So, after searching up and down, I stumbled upon Nelson's. I came by for an early lunch. This location is a very small place, really only big enough for a few fridges full of meats/fish, as well as the counter itself. I came in, and I took a little bit to decide what I wanted from the menu, and settled on a shrimp salad sandwich and a half pound of salmon poke. Before, during, and after the ordering process, I feel like the gentleman behind the counter was a little cold and not wanting to talk to me much. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him, so I felt bad about that. For that reason, I didn't really try to make conversation. I hope his day got better! I took the food togo, of course, and I ate the shrimp sandwich first. The seasoning was really great, and the salad was really well balanced. Mayo, onions, chives, cabbage: everything was well-represented and nothing was overbearingly seasoned. Yummy sandwich! The bread was a little drier than I would have liked, but very minor. It also came with Zapp's chips! Always a plus in my book. The poke? Delicious. I get the price. It's expensive, but it's the middle of a desert in 115 degree weather. Great representation of salmon poke, and super well seasoned with pacific island flavors that are certainly reminiscent of the stuff you'd get on the island! If you're looking for a wonderful seafood experience, I'm confident you'd like Nelson's in Phoenix.

This location is a much nicer facility and in a better area than the one in Tolleson. The menu is consistent too, which made it easy for us to order our favorites. I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We determined by the expressions on their faces their parents probably told them since they graduated from high school they aren't going to sit around the house doing nothing all day so this must the the place they applied to.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.
