My friend booked with them two months ago because she got a job in Texas and was asked to start immediately. (She's from Los Angeles). She basically had to pack her entire studio apartment on a Tuesday and be completely moved in by Sunday. She asked me for help and I told her it was going to be nearly impossible to get it all done since she couldn't find a mover to help her get all her things to a completely different state, but she found Cross Country. When the movers got to her apartment they realized she had A LOT of stuff. They helped us pack and load the smaller things into boxes to fit into her uhaul, and then they said they could deliver the furniture to her place so she wouldn't need to get another uhaul to drive over. The movers were super nice and were actually careful with her things when they were loading it into the truck. I wish I got their names so I could refer them in this review! (I've seen other movers toss boxes back and forth like they're not fragile before) I didn't meet my friend in Texas to help her unpack but she told me all of her furniture got there on Sunday morning and nothing was damaged so thank you to the guys that helped her pack her things! We both had a pleasant experience with this place, I'd definitely recommend this place if you need to move from state to state.

Have to say they did an amazing job. Not only were they super professional but also super nice and helpful. They showed up on time even a little early. They gave a call 30' before arriving. My sister and I already packed everything in boxes but we were still a bit anxious since we had bad moving experience before (movers broke our stuff). Cross Country movers literally wrapped everything as tight and good as butterfly cocoons lol super carefully and made the move very easy and effortless for us. Rate was reasonable for someone who lived upstairs like my sister. We're very happy we chose Cross Country Movers. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Absolute worst experience - they stole my money and do terrible work…read more DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They only accept cash (red flag #1) so they can keep your deposit when things go wrong. The work quality is embarrassingly bad - I can't believe they're still in business. Here's what happened: They took my deposit, then refused to take responsibility or issue any refund. When I tried to resolve this professionally, they were dismissive and threatening. The financial side is a complete mess - Olivia Guerrero "lost" my receipt and tried to claim I never paid. How does a business lose payment records? It feels like they're running some kind of scam operation. She also has Dementia but won't admit it, it's sad to see. Mark Guerrero runs this operation and clearly doesn't care about customer service or quality work. I've dealt with difficult contractors before, but this was something else entirely. They seem to prey on people who need work done, take advantage of the cash-only policy, and then leave you with no recourse when they mess up. Save yourself the headache and money. There are plenty of legitimate, professional companies out there who stand behind their work and treat customers with basic respect. This isn't one of them. UPDATE: Still fighting to get my deposit back months later. They're now ignoring my calls completely.

This is a hand made Persian Rug valued at 3k..they've ruined it. DO NOT use them, clearly they don't know what they are doing. I've owned the rug 8 years and have had it cleaned in Dallas and Arizona several times for pee stains, they come out. These people don't know how to handle quality I guess.

They did damage some drywall however they sent a tech out who did AN AMAZING JOB!!! I couldn't even tell where the damage was. The tech was was supposed to fix my buffet was not the best, but the company assumed responsibility and in the end all was okay.

The actual people who did the pickup were fine. A bit more bumping into walls than I'd like, but otherwise ok. The problem was scheduling. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience.
