Was looking for a place near by to Yorba Linda as my daughters basketball games are out this way and came across Omelli. We got 2 bowls of pho for the kids and they loved it, and for the adults we got the lomo Saltado and a side of rib eye steak. My god the rib eye steak was very good, definitely recommend trying that and the sauce they created for the lomo saltado was very flavorful. You won't regret coming if you try this place out. For drinks we got a Thai tea, which was very watered down and a peach lychee green tea which was one of the best drinks I've had anywhere all year, it is very sweet though, so if you're not into that I wouldn't recommend trying it read more

I love Vietnamese/Peruvian fusion food and Omeli's does a great job. Recently had a huge foodie meet-up with friends here and I loved all the entrees I got to try. My favorite dish was the shrimp + sausage with garlic noodles with the house green sauce. The sauce is a MUST and literally to die for. I drenched my noodles with it - it's that good!! Also tried their spicy shrimp wontons, calamari, vermicelli noodles with grilled pork, and popcorn chicken - which were all decent as well. read more

Amazing Vietnamese and Peruvian food. I didn't expect such quality and great pricing since I was just going next door to pick up cleaner clothes. Must try the shrimp spring rolls. I went to this restaurant because I have to catch up with my friend who lives in Buena Park and I drove from LA. It was 4PM in the afternoon but there were a lot of people, 2, 4, or family groups. I found customers from all ethnicities and I truly thought the food and taste invited everyone. Loved Lomo Saltado!! The crispy(?!) french fries were amazing not to mention the tender beef steak. I will definitely go back for it, with prawn next time. Garlic noodle was also very tasty. Taro coffee was something I never had before but fell in love with it immediately. We were served by a few staff and they were all nice. I am so glad we found this place. read more

Wow! What a lovely find in Fullerton. My husband and I were in town, and we decided to check this spot on with some friends. We ordered the popcorn chicken, garlic salt calamari, and the spicy wontons. The spicy wontons were so good. Definitely order this! My husband ordered the rib eye with garlic noodles, while I ordered the oxtail fried rice. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, while the oxtail went well with the sauce they provide. I also ordered the taro coffee, while he ordered the lychee peach iced tea. My other friend ordered the beef lomo saltado with an order of strawberry lemonade. A very solid restaurant, the food was good, and the portions were great! The service is quick, despite being very busy throughout the day. We had to wait for about an hour to get seated, however, once we sat down. It was quick and the food came out really quick too. I like the layout of the restaurant even though it is very compact. Well decorated. However, the food wasn't as astonishing or quite different in my opinion (didn't really see the fusion they are referring too). But this is a very solid option. If you swing by in the weekend, be prepared to wait a bit. Parking is not so bad either, so overall quite solid. read more

This place is amazing all the way around. The servers are attentive and the food a phenomenal. You can't go wrong with the Lomo Saltado, the steak in it melts in your mouth. The restaurant has a cool little vibe and is very clean. Valerie was our server and she is always so attentive and welcoming. Only my 3rd visit and she remembers my name every time. I'm so glad there's a good pho place in Fullerton now! This place is authentic and clean. The pho broth was flavorful and there was a lot of both the noodles and meat in the combination pho. The popcorn chicken was delicious as well! Juicy and was a big portion. The girl serving us was very friendly also and refilled our water multiple times without us asking first which I appreciated it! Will come back again to try the other items on the menu. read more

Which was so large I thought it was a bell pepper! A mix of shrimp, scallop, squid, mussel & white fish. It's still a fav. Tallarin mariscos- pasta with mixed seafood in a soy sauce based sauce. Off menu and still very good. Lomo saltado- hubby ordered this. Said it was good as usual. Unsure about other comments regarding toughness of meats. Decor has changed a bit. Half wall divides length of restaurant. Possibly to create a sense of intimacy in this one large room. We will still come back. Not for nostalgia but because we still enjoy the food here. There's a possibility previous reviewers have a misconception about restaurant life. Not sure they've notice the price of groceries in general have increased. Most entrees $20 +. Similar to other restaurants. Gone are the days of $12-15 entrees. Realistically need to consider prices of gas too. Cuz foods arrive in trucks. The seafood was rubbery, overcooked, and definitely not worth the ridiculous price. I've had better seafood for a fraction of the cost. If you're planning to go, I'd suggest getting there early, hitting the off hours, or hopping on the waitlist online. For this visit, I went with one of my go-to pho orders, the Pho Short Ribs. It did not disappoint. The broth was super flavorful and aromatic, and the rib meat was incredibly tender. It was falling off the bone! They also offer unlimited noodle refills, though honestly, the portion of noodles was already pretty filling. But, it's a great thing to know if you're extra hungry and want more. I did try a bit of some other dishes, but I thought they were just okay. I tried a bit of the Lomo Saltado, and while it was fine, it wasn't as delicious as the pho. The flavors weren't as strong as I expected, so I wasn't as impressed with that dish. I really liked the overall vibe of the place. I was so impressed with my first visit to Omeli Kitchen a few months ago that I knew I had to come back and explore more of their menu! This time around, I tried the Lobster Garlic Noodles. This dish featured tossed lobster with Omeli's house sauce, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, and green onion. The garlic flavor was spot on, and the noodles were perfectly soft and flavorful. I also got the Crispy Chicken Wings during this visit. They came out fresh and hot, with a super crispy texture and a punch of garlic, thanks to the special house sauce. These wings were definitely a winner! Of course, I couldn't resist getting the Pho Short Rib again. The tender short rib and that comforting, flavorful broth never disappoint. It's one of those dishes I could enjoy any day, and I was so happy to see it's still as delicious as the first time I tried it. You guys, this place is solid! I am super picky about Vietnamese food and I'm always saying there are no good Vietnamese restaurants in North Orange County. A client of mine recommended Omeli so I decided to give it a try. My go to dish is always vermicelli noodles with pork and egg rolls. And to be honest I always get headaches after I eat Vietnamese food. Not sure if it's from the fish sauce or MSG. But I took one bite of the pork and OMG the flavors were outstanding. Then everything mixed together was just delicious. And no headache. I also tried their guanabana green tea and that was delicious too! I've never had that before and it was perfect sweetness and not as tart as you would think. I would definitely get those two items again. If I hadn't wanted to try anything else, I could have eaten the entire plate of lobster garlic noodles since I was that fond of them. The tiny lobster chunks had a nice coating of flavor and were crunchy. The noodles retained the taste of garlic well, and they were chewy as well. There was also wonderful beef fried rice in a shake. The steak was tasty even if it was a little rough, and the rice was fluffy and well-seasoned. Since I could have probably cleaned that one myself, I told myself to quit eating it as well. Although I heard that the macaroni filet mignon was a must-order, I only found it to be mediocre at best. The noodles were a little floppy and overdone. Having said that, the meal had a fantastic flavor. We also shared some tofu spring rolls, which were delicious in and of themselves, but the accompanying peanut sauce seemed a little too sweet for my taste. Last night, my friend and I had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an experience worth sharing. I ordered the Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles, and let me tell you, it was a dish to remember! The portion was generous. As for the beef, it was tender and cooked to perfection. My friend opted for the Fried Rice, and he was equally impressed. But what really elevated our dining experience was the service. Our server was friendly. She recommended the dishes we ended up ordering, and it's safe to say their suggestions were spot-on. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service are outstanding. In conclusion, I'm giving this restaurant a well-deserved 5 stars for both the incredible food and the excellent service. This spot in Fullerton has quickly become my new favorite. Despite my initial skepticism about fusion, the blend of Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisines here is exceptional. The menu is well-designed and easy to navigate, mostly in English, signaling a unique twist on traditional Vietnamese fare. The attentive young staff keeps things running smoothly, and the food is outstanding. We tried both oxtail and chicken pho, and both had clean, flavorful broths. The portion size left me a bit indifferent, but the overall quality compensated for it. The iced teas were a highlight--flavorful and well-balanced. The owner, possibly a manager, was actively involved, even bringing out food for regular guests. Seen this spot popping up lately and decided to stop by on my birthday this past Sunday with the family. I ordered the Pho combo. I have to say it wasn't my favorite. The water from the noddles watered down the broth so much it lost the flavor I was looking for. I also ordered the garlic noodles and steak... it was lacking a lot of flavor also in my opinion. Wifey got the oxtail pho.. her words were, "I wouldn't order it again." Over all the food was lacking a lot of flavor. Service was fast and attentive. Restaurant felt clean and tidy. Atmosphere was good as well. It is a pricey location also. I spent $200 on 3 adults and 3 children under 10 and was charged a large party gratuity fee. Anyways, want worth it in my humble opinion. Outside the crowd didn't look that bad but I assume it's people waiting in cars or killing time in the plaza. 58th was a harsh place to start but we were committed like how bad could it be right, people go in and out, there should be some type of flow.... no. The estimate said something like 100 minutes... also no. Half the tables were empty and it looks like there were only 2 people working. The promo actually says dine in AND pickup so I'm not sure if they're busy because of the togo orders because there weren't that many people in the actual restaurant vs the crowd waiting. Like every other table was empty they definitely could've sat people. Oh they didn't have enough workers? WHY NOT! Why wouldn't you staff more people when you heavily marketed this weekend as a discount weekend and therefore should be expecting more people. After the first hour we gave up and ate elsewhere but just for your reference, we only moved up to the 40s by the first hour. And then THREE hours later (5 pm) we remembered like omg we forgot to exit the waitlist huh...but then also realized that we never got a text saying table is ready so we must not be close yet. 3 hours later we were #10 in line. Side note: At the 1 hour mark we asked if we could order togo and they said no, you would have to still wait for your turn on the waitlist (aka to be seated) to order togo. That doesn't make sense because there's SO many people waiting and this list is barely moving (togo or not) so then why is your focus on the outside/3rd party/delivery apps because those must be the orders that you're fulfilling. Poorly managed but to the extent where you wonder if it's intentional, like they wanted the crowd and the hype but didn't really want that many people getting the 50% off deal. It's almost like they wanted you to give up and pay DoorDash full pricing instead (because you're already there) and those delivery orders are the ones you see actually getting prepared vs the people sitting inside. Also, it's not like the people seated were taking forever to eat ok. I want to say people were eating at a normal place no one was camping out wasting time (or at least from what I could tell) but it just took long for the food to get brought out and not all the tables were occupied. So you have empty tables and seated tables with no food. If you're so concerned about the kitchen getting backed up there's definitely ways to stagger seating and not just keep the place empty. It's just a combination of lots of people waiting, lots of empty tables, people sitting at tables aren't getting their food that quickly, focus on togo orders and for the waitlist to be getting cleared at SNAIL SPEED where 3 hours and you're still not seated ... just ridiculous all around.

I'm visiting from Sacramento and will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
