have been going to sol inka for years. The food is good. I don't think I will be going there any more due to there tip and credit card surcharge. I went there last night, 9/19/2025 and when my bill came there was an 18% tip and a 3% surcharge on my bill that they charged automatically. I have nothing against tipping, my waitress was nice and attentive. But I will decide how much to tip. I understand large parties are automatically charged a tip but 5 people is not a large party. My original order was 148.70 after the tip, surcharge and tax, the bill was 195.23. That's crazy, definitely won't be going back there any more. read more

The flavor was lacking there is little to no color in the current arroz chaufa and the Chicharrones De Calamares was difficult to eat. We had to put it in the air fryer the price going for $18.95 it is not was you expect. We have been long time customers and it seems like the price has gone up but the quality of food has gone down. I've known this spot since it was called Mario's and it's been my local go to spot when I didn't have time to make it out to the Mario's LA location. I finally came back to this spot after a year and unfortunately the food quality and flavor wasn't there. We got the arroz chuafa de mariscos and pescado macho, but the flavor was super light, the seafood tasted bland as if it was boiled in water, and the rice itself seemed reheated. Worst of all, we kept finding fish bones in the arroz chuafa when there's no fish in the dish. Very disappointed although the staff was kind. read more

Delicious lomo saltados and decent sized portions! This wasn't my first time coming here and definitely won't be my last. I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and they brought us here for dinner on Sunday! They have their own parking lot but there's very limited spaces if it does get busy. Walking in, we were instantly greeted and asked how many were in our party. We were instantly seated but there were quite a few occupied big tables around us. I couldn't catch our waitress's name but she was so attentive and nice to us! She would come ask if we needed refills, napkins, extra utensils, or extra bread and butter. After you order, you get complimentary bread and butter! They also have this green spicy sauce that you can dip your bread in. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 1 soup, 1 appetizer, and 4 main dishes! Everything came out so fast and was so tasty! You can even see the chefs preparing the food through the transparent glass. Food: Lomo Saltado (9/10): I absolutely loved this dish! The only thing I will say is that it was on a little salty for me but that's not something a little water couldn't help with. The beef was cooked so nicely, it was tender and the portioned nicely so it could be chewed with each bite. The grilled onions were for sure my favorite part. The onions soaked in all the sauce but were still crunchy which adds a nice texture to the soggy french fries. The french fries also soaked in all the sauce! There's also a side of rice to help make you more full! Tallarines Salteo de Carne (9/10): This dish was identical to the lomo saltado but instead of french fries, it was noodles! I equally loved this dish since they used the same sauce but with noodles instead! I had no complaints except it was on the saltier side but didn't mind it at all. Everything's the same as my lomo saltado review, perfectly cooked meat and onions! Jalea de Mariscos (9/10): This was our appetizer! It comes with a few fried items (fish fillet, shrimp, and squid). I think there are also Yukon potatoes but I could be mistaking it for another form of potato. The squids are fried in bite sized and they're so easy to eat! It also comes with an onion salsa that's so delicious! The salsa is sour so definitely be careful when dunking your food in there. I believe that this one comes in a half or full size! read more

Well i was kind of disappointed, i ordered the Chicharron de Pollo and it was maybe 2 pieces of chicken for 15$. Cut up into small piece, it was good tasting just the portion was WEEK at best, a few full pieces of chicken was what i expected from the photos on the site. I been eating here for over a decade. It changed names a while back if i remember correctly Overall i was disappointed for $60 for the 3 plates. I checked online for the amount it would be $59.27 for the 3 plates, when i tried to call in the order i was quoted 64, i asked why the difference as it should have been cheeper as i had an addition Convenience Fee: $2.49. So i ordered it online. I wanted to pay cash but ened up getting cash back from the CC purchase. Large restaurant with plenty of seating, they do have an area for live music. I got their Bistek al lo pobre and lomo saltado for my family, I went during a slow time so the wait time was not long. The lomo saltado was not salty and the beef was tender with plenty of fries and sliced red onions and tomatoes. The sauce was not salty as well. My brother did like the bistek and said it was tender and seasoned nicely. The staff is nice, the lady gave me an Alfajores for free. Parking lot is a good size. read more

This was our first time coming here for dinner, and we had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress, Janet. Her service was excellent, she even let us try passion fruit juice and a Peruvian corn drink or juice (I forgot the name), and both were so delicious! Lomo Saltado is bomb. The flavor is awesome and the portion is big. that's what I go for so this place can get this 5 stars haha. Pros: The food was really good. The restaurant is pretty big for a Peruvian restaurant. The Tallarin and fried rice was really good and flavorful. Pairs really well with the verde sauce that they give on the side. Also not pictured was the calamari. It was soooo good. The sauce that it came with was really tangy and a hint of spicy. Honestly the best thing I had. Cons: full disclosure that we did come with a large group of 12. We came around 11:40ish. Our food took about 25 minutes for the first dish to come out after ordering and then the rest of the food trickled in and finally receiving the rest of the food about 12:30. It wasn't busy that day and our server didn't come check on us often and update us on the food or anything. Kind of just brought them as they were ready it seemed like. My girlfriend and I decided to try Sol Inka after I got out of work today and I am so happy we landed up there. The restaurant is a nice and welcoming place. We sat at the bar and our server poured us some beers from tap. Those beers were nice and cold so we were already happy with that. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.
