WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Im not a person that writes reviews especially on Peruvian places because im Peruvian too but this time is crazy...My boyfriend and I ordered on ubereats and it came with a FLY INSIDE THE BOX, had to take it out with utensils because it couldn't even fly due to the time that was in there. What a waste of money

Ground beef empanada 10/10 - that green sauce tho! 12/10! Their shrimp sauce was amazing over rice. My husband loved the fried red snapper. I wasn't a fan. Overall quick and friendly service. Outside patio seating available. It's a small venue, not really ideal for larger groups. Gave it 4 stars because they sauce was fire!!!! Definitely worth a try.

Went here because we were craving Peruvian food and wanted to try something new. Negatives: -price, for the location size and environment I was not very happy about the price. With gas going down, eggs going down, and inflation going down I was a little disappointed with the high prices. Positives: -taste, the food was good, we enjoyed our rice and the seafood plater. The shrimp was a little salty, but the sauces were very good. -service was quick and responsive Food prices in California are ridiculous.... Because of how much I'm being charged I will be extra picky at every place that I eat at in California. I've been to many different restaurants in different states that charge you less for better food and better service. Even Hawaii charges less for great food, and they're on an island. At some point these high prices need to stop because they are unjustified. Besides my rant, that's not a complaint about this restaurant just California in general, I will give an overall 4/5.

This place is delicious! We love the empanadas, the plantains, the meals are so special. We love the food here!

Food was okay the sauce for the tallarín saltado de lomo I ordered and the lomo saltado was different from what I was used to. Service was good the sever who worked with us was very quick and kind. Ambiance is nice with plenty of seating. They also have selective desserts (refer to photo)

Was in the mood for Peruvian and found this place on Yelp. It's a casual Peruvian restaurant in a strip mall with many other restaurants. Despite being casual, it felt a bit more elevated than the usual hole in the walls that I'd frequent for Peruvian. The place was packed and food was prepared to order. I knew there is Chinese influence in Peruvian cuisine but this place seems to skew a bit more Chinese as I've not seen wontons (wantans) on the menu before at other places? My favorite Peruvian dish is Arroz Chaufa de Pollo (chicken fried rice) so I had to get it here. It was good but different from what I had at other places. The aji sauce is a must with the rice. The Hot&Ready menu options were good too! Got to try the seco de carne, aji de gallina and Adobo de Chancho and adobo de chancho. Also had to try the lomo saltado and don't forget the fried yucca too! Check out my pics.

We've been coming here for years and it's always incredible. The food is delicious and the portions are out of this world. Seriously, we came in for lunch thinking it was going to be a small plate of food, we left with 3 to go boxes. The service is good and everyone is always kind. If you don't speak Spanish- or don't know how to pronounce something- just ask or point. They're great. Location is definitely a hidden gem. Located in between several other restaurants on a busy road. Parking might be challenging, but I promise it's worth the drive. When you go inside you hear the music, the beautiful tables, and they'll drop off a little bowl of salted corn. This alone is worth the drive btw. Here's my suggestion if you're new. Get an order of Yuca Frita. Thing thick cut fries but not potato, they are yuca. For the main course get a tacu tacu or a seco con. You won't leave hungry. If you still have room, fill it up with a flan. I've tried every restaurant in this strip mall, the only one is still visit is Cuzcos. It's the people, the authentic flavor, and the music.

Stopped by with my coworkers earlier this week to try this spot and I'm so glad we did! Most of us were all quite new to Peruvian cuisine and wanted to try more of it so we picked this spot for lunch. Maybe it was because it was the day after Christmas, but it wasn't packed inside. They have a couple of tables for indoor casual dining so we opted to dine in instead of taking it to go. They have a wide selection of items in their menu but best of all, they have a lunch special menu. You'll see some Peruvian Chinese style dishes such as wontons and fried rice. There were too many delicious looking items on the menu so it took us awhile to figure out what we wanted to try. Portions are very generous here so we'll definitely be back another day to try out more items on their menu. || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are N Harbor Blvd and Las Palmas Dr. -Located in the same plaza strip as Akafuji, Pirate's Kitchen, Furai Chicken, Egg Bred and more! -Small parking lot in the front facing N.Harbor Blvd side but there are more spots in the back. The only downside is that the back parking lot is not connected to the front, so you'd have to go all the way around to reach the back lot. || F O O D / D RI N K S || Ceviche de Pescado (Lunch Special - $14.95) - The lunch special comes with a canned drink of choice with daily special soup. I believe the soup we got was the aguadito de pollo and it was such a comforting chicken soup with rice. For complimentary soup, they actually included lots of chicken and rice. I needed something on the lighter side after eating so heavy for the holidays so I opted for the Ceviche. The white fish was fresh and I liked the tangy juice, which was packed with so much flavor, paired so well with the sweet potato and the lime cured white fish. It was such a refreshing dish! Lomo Saltado Empanada ($5.95) - I've never seen a lomo saltado empanada so I knew I had to try it out. Plus, I thought the portion sizes for lunch specials would be smaller so I thought I better get an extra something to satiate my hunger. I didn't end up eating this on the spot, but when I took it home to eat for dinner, it was still pretty good! The filling was super flavorful and I liked that the skin of the empanada wasn't overly thick. Chicha Morada - I almost mistook it for jamaica due to the similar color. My coworker decided to order a pitcher so all of us at the table could try it. It's a fruity and sweet drink with hints of cinnamon. It was quite refreshing!

The food here is different . If you are expecting the traditional flavor of Chifa food you may be disappointed or maybe not. Their wontons are delicious but maybe a little too much 5 spice seasoning in the filling. I also ordered their Arroz Chaufa /fried rice It was loaded with chicken and had a nice smoky Chifa flavor. Their maracuya passion fruit drink is amazing also. The interior decor and setup of the restaurant is vibrant and visually pleasing and our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately we had to sit outside in the cold, the heater was low on propane & did not warm us up. Not a warming first time . We ordered the Papa rellena 10/10 recommend as an appetizer. Also ordered surf & turf tallarin, lacked a bit in flavor,as the plate was watery at the bottom. The ceviche was well made in citrus lime juice, maiz cancha & sweet potato. Did not care for the Maracuya drinks we had, pretty sweet & not freshly made, you can tell. Also the green aji was so salty! No bread is served here, F. Y. I for those who are accustomed to having it at a Peruvian restaurant. You do get a complimentary tiny serving of those crunchy maiz cornuts!

Fresh food with hella flavors! The filet in the limo was flavourful just a bit chewy. Wish the empanada came with 2 since it's $5. Papa rellena is bomb with the house sauce having a slight kick. Parking can be tight since it's a busy area but plenty of seating and nice staff ! Food took a while but it was fresh

I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and they brought us here for dinner on Sunday! They have their own parking lot but there's very limited spaces if it does get busy. Walking in, we were instantly greeted and asked how many were in our party. We were instantly seated but there were quite a few occupied big tables around us. I couldn't catch our waitress's name but she was so attentive and nice to us! She would come ask if we needed refills, napkins, extra utensils, or extra bread and butter. After you order, you get complimentary bread and butter! They also have this green spicy sauce that you can dip your bread in. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 1 soup, 1 appetizer, and 4 main dishes! Everything came out so fast and was so tasty! You can even see the chefs preparing the food through the transparent glass. Food: Lomo Saltado (9/10): I absolutely loved this dish! The only thing I will say is that it was on a little salty for me but that's not something a little water couldn't help with. The beef was cooked so nicely, it was tender and the portioned nicely so it could be chewed with each bite. The grilled onions were for sure my favorite part. The onions soaked in all the sauce but were still crunchy which adds a nice texture to the soggy french fries. The french fries also soaked in all the sauce! There's also a side of rice to help make you more full! Tallarines Salteo de Carne (9/10): This dish was identical to the lomo saltado but instead of french fries, it was noodles! I equally loved this dish since they used the same sauce but with noodles instead! I had no complaints except it was on the saltier side but didn't mind it at all. Everything's the same as my lomo saltado review, perfectly cooked meat and onions! Jalea de Mariscos (9/10): This was our appetizer! It comes with a few fried items (fish fillet, shrimp, and squid). I think there are also Yukon potatoes but I could be mistaking it for another form of potato. The squids are fried in bite sized and they're so easy to eat! It also comes with an onion salsa that's so delicious! The salsa is sour so definitely be careful when dunking your food in there. I believe that this one comes in a half or full size!

Cut up into small piece, it was good tasting just the portion was WEEK at best, a few full pieces of chicken was what i expected from the photos on the site. I been eating here for over a decade. It changed names a while back if i remember correctly Overall i was disappointed for $60 for the 3 plates. I checked online for the amount it would be $59.27 for the 3 plates, when i tried to call in the order i was quoted 64, i asked why the difference as it should have been cheeper as i had an addition Convenience Fee: $2.49. So i ordered it online. I wanted to pay cash but ened up getting cash back from the CC purchase. The waitress who gave me my order did it with a big smile, That was the best part of the meal.

Topped with a sunny-side-up egg and fragrant Thai basil, it's a rich, cohesive dish that hits all the right notes. Soft Shell Crab Curry: The execution on the crab is flawless--perfectly crispy and light. For a small space they have 1 waitress who needs better skills, she may be new. I say this because even as she brought out dishes she brought things out in pieces (got my shrimp cocktail, then had to ask for crackers, then had to ask for lemon, then had to ask for salt and pepper). Some points for the food: Talllarin - chicken was dry, pasta good Bandeja paisa - 7/10 arepa dry, no beef or beans Shrimp cocktail - very little shrimp, little to no juice, like a salsa mix in the cocktail Gyoza - good can't mess that up Lomo - eh fries came warm not hot, doesn't look like a traditional sauce The good things about this place: Good little green salsa and they served a good chicha de mora. Would I come back? No. You can definitely find better quality food and cheaper prices at a regular 1 cuisine restaurant. I would like to add presentation was nice on the food but nothing tasted quite right...

Blue and white interior with plants and pictures of Peru landmarks gave off coastal vibes. Our server Lupe was chill and made us feel welcome. The saltados ratio of tomatoes, onions, and rice were minimal to the sauce, and it was salty. The menu is misleading, there are grammatical errors and mistranslation for one of the items, Tallarín Verde Con Camarón. I ordered this reading the description, saying it was "green noodles with spinach pesto and breaded squid," when its actually shrimp with spinach pesto noodles. Prices are a little high for small portions of food they plate. For example, the 8-piece Yucca Frita fries as an appetizer for $8.99 is practically saying each piece is $1. Overall, I give this spot a 3 out of 5 stars because the food was ok and prices were a little high for what they offered.
