The veggies were vibrant, the fries stayed crispy, and the meat was cooked exactly to temperature. It's a tricky dish to get right, but they absolutely nailed it. My wife had the Ceviche de Camarón, and she couldn't wait to dig in. The shrimp tasted incredibly fresh, the lime, red onion, cilantro, and ají amarillo/limo pepper came together with that bright citrus‑chili punch you want in a true Peruvian ceviche. Even the details were spot‑on: perfectly cooked choclo and sweet potato with just the right texture. The only thing I'd tweak is the chicha morada -- a bit sweet for my taste, but easy to adjust with a splash of water without losing the flavor. We came here because my son has to do an extra credit report about Peruvian food. So we decided to stop by on a Sunday lunch. The place is located in a strip mall with a bunch of other restaurants. The outside is not impressive, but the inside is definitely quaint and clean. We ordered three dishesb(fried rice not shown). All dishes are between $22-27. Absolutely tasty! We've been to Aji Limon twice now while looking for a solid Peruvian spot, especially since my fiancé is Peruvian and we tend to be pretty particular when it comes to classic dishes. On our first visit, we tried the Arroz Chaufa (Beef) and shared the Ceviche de Mariscos. The Arroz Chaufa was easily the highlight -- flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked just right. Was driving by the area and saw this place. We always loved to try new places and haven't had Peruvian for quite a while so we decided to check it out. I can definitely say we weren't disappointed. The place has a mom and pop feel to it. It was clean, the staff was very friendly, and service was good. We had the Loma Saltado, Bistec a lo Pobre, Bistec a la Chorrillana, Tallarín Saltado, and the donuts for dessert. I tasted all of the them and they were all delicious. The Bistec a la Chorrillana and Lola Saltado were my favorites. Given that everything did taste great, I did take one star off which was due to portion size for the beef. Given that the style of food traditionally has thinly sliced beef, I think that for the price there could be a larger portion size of the meat. As for the donuts, they were very tasty but if you have kids or picky eaters, you may want to skip them. The sauce was delicious to me but my son didn't like it. The sauce is made with alcohol so you can taste it a little. With that said, if we're in the area and craving Peruvian, this place will definitely be one of our possible choices. read more

They have a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from including Saltado, tallarín and chicha morada. They also have picarones (a Peruvian donut shaped dessert which is made from sweet potatoes) which are a rare thing to find in this state. Their service is great and the waiters are friendly as well. I love Aji Limon! Really great and fresh Peruvian food. I always get the Tallarin Verde with chicken. I love the pesto pasta and the perfectly breaded chicken. It never disappoints! I also really enjoy the chicharron de pollo for an appetizer. They are really great seasoned chicken bites. And everything is highly elevated once you have their special green sauce/salsa. It is very spicy! I always ask for extra sauce once they bring it out. The food is cooked fresh, so be ready to wait a long time to get your food. 20+ minutes sometimes. But the wait is worth it! Parking is very convenient as well. The restaurant is part of a larger shopping center so there is plenty of parking.
