This place definitely surprised me. Similar to Vox kitchen, it's a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion restaurant. The food is delicious! Lots of flavor and well balanced! The pho is spot on just like the ones in garden grove! Their saltado has their own unique style to it, but very delicious. The prawn garlic noodles were delicious! The service was fast and efficient. We came for dinner and it was pretty busy. We waiting about 10 mins for a table! They took our order and food came out within reasonable time. It's in the complex of an EOS Fitness so the parking may be difficult, but we were able to find one without too much difficulty. It's clean, but does feel a bit compact inside.

Omeli is a super solid option for Vietnamese/Peruvian fusion food. This spot is on the Yelp Top 100 Restaurants in the OC and I'd say it's well deserved. The menu has a decent variety of food, including garlic noodles, rice bowls, fried rice, pho, and other items. During my visit, I ordered the garlic noodles with shaken beef and all I have to say is YUM. I absolutely enjoyed everything about it and would highly recommend it. The store itself is pretty casual and the service is friendly. It's in a strip mall with a parking lot, however, parking here is tough because it shares the lot with the gym.

Stopped by on a Thursday night and the restaurant was busy, so we had a short wait before getting seated. Parking is available in a lot, but it was pretty full when we arrived, so we ended up parking farther away, but still within the same lot. Inside was nice, and we were seated in the corner so had some privacy to our meal. We ordered a few different dishes to share, and honestly, everything was really good. The cucumber salad was simple but well done. The cucumbers were crunchy, and the dressing had plenty of flavor without being too heavy. The spicy wontons had a nice kick, although they were a little salty for my taste. Still, the spice and overall flavor made them easy to keep eating. The Filet Fried Rice was another standout. The filet was tender, and the fried rice itself had a good balance of flavor without being overly greasy. The Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles were also solid, with a good amount of garlic flavor that paired well with the chicken. It was great, but nothing that blew my mind. My favorite might have been the Saltado Fries. They were extremely crispy and packed with flavor, and I love a good combination of the fries with savory toppings. Service was good despite the restaurant being busy, and everything came out tasting fresh and well prepared. Overall, I'm excited to go back.

I'm a big fan of both Vietnamese and Peruvian food so I'm glad we have Omeli close to home. We had three dishes and the nui bo luc lac was our favorite. Amazing flavors and cooked really well. Good chewy noodles, crunchy sautéd veggies and tender filet. Ended up finishing that dish until the plate was empty. We also had the grilled pork rice bowl which was also good. The fish sauce has a bit of a kick to it and was very flavorful. The pork itself was a touch too salty for me but the amount of pork they gave was so generous. I found myself wanting more rice (in a good way) to balance all the meat they gave. Lastly we had the beef ball pho. I don't know what it was but it was extremely salty or vinegar and had a distinct taste that wasn't to my liking. The onions/cilantro provided with it were also very wilted. I don't want to ding them too hard on the pho since it's the other specialty dishes that they're known for, and we would absolutely come back. Bonus was a side of salmon which was cooked perfectly. Nice sear on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside. They gave a side of their green sauce which goes great with any dish there.

Omeli Kitchen is a Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant located in Fullerton near CSUF. If you're familiar with Kei Concept's Sup Noodle Bar or Vox Kitchen, this place is very similar in terms of their offerings. This restaurant is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. We put our name on the Yelp waitlist and were seated immediately. We ordered the pho short rib ($16.95), lomo saltado ($19.95), and omeli's spicy wontons ($13.95). The pho came in a huge bowl with huge ribs that were tender. I liked that the broth was saltier than others I've had that it didn't need any of the typical fixings like hoisin sauce or sriracha. Also, like Sup and Vox they provided unlimited refills on noodles and gave larger portions of extra noodles. The lomo saltado had a smaller portion of beef although it was tender. I typically like to upgrade my rice to garlic noodles but it was $8 extra which didn't feel worth it to me. The spicy wontons were spicier than they looked but the sauce didn't coat the wontons the way others do; it wasn't as thick of a sauce and it was less hints of chili oil and more of sesame oil.

Raven R.

Came here for dinner. There's plenty of parking since it's located in the spacious plaza. There isna bit of a wait during peak times but it wasn't too bad when we were there. Staff is nice and helpful. I got the lomo saltado. Lomo Saltado- Beef is tender. The sauce is savory and there's a good amount to cover everything plus the rice. Potatoes have a nice crisp to them. Flavors and textures are on point. Great experience overall!

This small Vietnamese owned restaurant is a secret Fullerton gem - fusion restaurant. They are known for their lomo saltado. However, my son loves their garlic noodles with prawns. Even on a hot day, you will see diners, selecting their spare rib pho because it has unlimited noodles and is so savory and rich in its broth. The service is very friendly and fast. You will not regret eating at Omeli kitchen.

Outstanding dining experience. Delicious food with lots of variety, huge portions, great service, very reasonable prices. I mean, really. I'm rarely in Fullerton, but that's what I love about Yelp. I'll just start researching - like I've been doing for kinda forever, lol -- and usually find some local gems that I would have never known about. OMELI was right there - and not even from the Sponsored section. Caught my eye with all the great reviews, PLUS that they serve one of my fave dishes, Lomo Saltado. But, like I almost always do, I asked the server (who was awesome btw), and told her that both that and the Pho Supreme each looked like the big hearty dishes I was looking for. She said they've both great, either way. I rationalized that the Pho Supreme with ALL that protein (short-rib, filet mignon, beef belly, brisket & meatball) was calling me. Man, the size of the bone with all that beef hanging off it was a showstopper. The beef broth was rich but not salty (no dry mouth later), and of course, the Pho. You get unlimited pho btw, but heck I could barely finish what I had. TLDR: this dish is great to share and/or one that you might need to finish later. Appetizers? I don't often do appetizers but I loved the menu (and MAYBE I was also starving), that I tried the refreshing Spring Crunch Slaw. Absolute winner. Crunchy cabbage, carrot, cilantro, roasted peanuts, fried shallots, chili oil, sesame peanut dressing. Yum! You can add a protein to that, and the tofu seemed like a good idea. My server absolutely seconded that motion. So good. The giant blocks of tofu are lightly fried and sat atop the deeply satisfying slaw. Two giant dishes, leftovers galore, and it didn't even break $30. I ended up taking a Vietnamese Iced Coffee to go, and that was a sweet and tasty way to drive home. And they're open til 1am !! Highly recommended.

I heard lots of great things about Omeli so when I was in the area I had to stop by. It's a Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion restaurant so I was excited to give it a go. We got there right when it opened so we were able to get any table we wanted. I loved the decor in here, very modern and organic vibes. We ordered: Omeli's Spicy Wonton Chicken Saltado Pho chicken (free additional pho noodles upon request - yay!) Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles Wow...with the exception of the super dry chicken in the pho, everything was great! My kids especially LOVED the shaken beef garlic noodles and the chicken Saltado. Like I said, the chicken in the pho was dry and not good, but the pho broth was great. The noodles were hard when I first got the bowl, but if you let it soak in the broth for a bit, it will eventually soften up. I liked that you get extra noodles if you want more. Service was a bit lacking, our server never came to check on us, we had to wave him down every time we needed something. I give this place a solid 4.5!

Krystal V.

I don't know what happened but the quality of their food went down. I got garlic noodles with salmon and look how it is (i already put the green sauce). The salmon STILL had fish bones in it and the noodles was hard. SMH. Disappointed. Not coming back.

Joshua T.

We ordered pick up and it was ready upon arrival. Pho broth tasted pretty good, shrimp spring rolls were fat and yummy, the filet mignon Mac n cheese was suprisingly good and smokey flavored. We also got the deja vu lemonade that was really good!

Tiffany P.

Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion done right. Loved everything we ate here! Omeli's Spicy Wonton: I could eat this all day and call it a perfect meal. Super tasty chili oil. Lomo Saltado: Tender beef and well-seasoned. An easy crowd-pleaser. The space is gorgeous, filled with warm aromas and a bustling atmosphere. Friendly, sociable staff made the experience even better. A memorable meal from start to finish.

Stella W.

wow, this has easily become my GO TO spot for Vietnamese food! been here twice and I will definitely be coming back again. brisket pho: very good pho. didn't need the extra hoisin sauce, the flavor of the broth is so rich and tasty. 10/10 pho. good serving size as well. shaken beef fried rice: 8/10. the shaken beef was amazing, peppery umami goodness. the friend rice was standard. amazing service here! workers are nice! ambiance: very causal spot! handful of seating, so be sure to get here early on a busy night.

BOMB! cute place + delicious food + friendly service. Appetizers: Bork belly Spring Rolls + Spicy Wontons....spicy and DELICIOUS! Plates: The Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles (OMG steak bites..sooo soft) and Combination Pho was amazing (try adding the sauce from the wontons. Recommended!) Drink: COCONUT COFFEE! You won't regret it! Best part, EVERYTHING was FRESH!! You could taste it!!!! The service was extra friendly. You can tell it's family oriented which is cute! Last minute decision we looked up a pho place to eat & this place popped up with high reviews. At first glance it looked familiar but then I realized I have eaten pho in so many places for so many years I lost track of them all. For 23 years to be exact! Sat down and could not wait to order their shaken beef pho! Husband ordered the garlic salmon & noodles. We also wanted to try the spicy dumplings which oddly enough arrived last to our table; No problem! I am in love with their broth and it reminds me of good old college days pho . This restaurant was so fresh that my bean sprouts were not soggy & very clean. Let me tell you what I mean by clean. I have a pet peeve pet since the moment I started eating Vietnamese food; I would sit there and remove the roots/long stems on each bean sprout before I drop them into my dish! yes, it's a bit OCD but I couldn't believe, how lovely and perfect it beans sprouts were next to the basil. That alone made my night! The food was delicious and will for sure come back with the kids since they too love pho. Only problem is I feel the salmon was overpriced. It was very delicious but it was a small piece for almost $20. read more

I found this place on Instagram & boy am I glad I did! I took a friend & we had the Lomo Saltado, the rib eye garlic noodles, and calamari for starters. We didn't take any pictures as all the food smelled AMAZING & we couldn't wait to dig in. For sure get extra sunny side eggs for the garlic noodles. Portions can be enjoyed individually, but definitely order several plates so you can share multiple flavors. For sure coming back! read more

I, my husband and a group of friends had tried many delicious dishes here for our dinner last weekend. The standouts for us would be Omeli's Spicy Wonton, Nui Xao Bo, and Pineapple Chiken Fried Rice. I love the way they decorated their restaurant, which is really aesthetic. We also had a chance talking with the owner who is also the main chef of Omeli, and we were impressed about his passion of cooking food and making food more creative. We loved the ways he explained how he made each dish and where the ingredients come from. If you have a chance going to this local, highly recommend to stop by and try the delicious Vietnamese cuisines here. read more

I was disappointed because I had been looking forward to trying the chicken pho here just to realize that they didn't have any other broth options than beef. I cannot eat beef and when they brought the pho out I had to ask if the broth was chicken just to find out it wasn't. I told the server of my dietary restriction and asked for another menu just for her to be rude and walk away without saying anything. She never even came back to take my order in case I wanted another item. The menu online and in person did not suggest that the only broth available was beef so I was really disappointed because the pho would have been good if I was able to have it and if they marketed it more clearly. read more

The food quality of this restaurant is wildly inconsistent. Have had some really good food and the most bland food I have ever had. Location also has had plumbing issues is what I am assuming since the odor from the restroom has been so bad that we had to leave. Staff is also inconsistent. Some staff members will give you a 1/4 of a cup full or Vietnamese coffee and give you attitude when asking for a bit more since it is expensive. Have had way too many negative experiences to recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went with a group of 12. Everyone enjoyed their food. The ambience is nice (not fancy), service good, and food was delicious with decent portions. The location is almost impossible to see from the street, but there is plenty of free parking. I shared Rib-eye with Garlic Noodles and Shaken beef with Garlic Noodles with a friend. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The noodles were great. I went back the next day with my wife and we enjoyed the Lomo Saltado. Just found this amazing Peruvian-Vietnamese fusion place by our house! First off, the decor is super chic, with dark paneling and lots of beautiful flowers everywhere. It was absolutely packed while we were there but service was fast and friendly. We all shared a bunch of dishes including the spicy wontons, popcorn chicken, calamari, and an assortment of teas and coffees to start. The popcorn chicken was probably my favorite app; it had such an amazing, fragrantly spiced flavor that set it apart from popcorn chicken elsewhere. For our entrees, we shared the pho, Cajun Tiger Prawn Garlic Noodles, Beef Belly & Oxtail Fried Rice, Nui Xao Bo (Macaroni Filet Mignon Beef), and Lomo Saltado. Everything was super flavorful and fresh. The Macaroni Beef was a standout; I loved all the veggies and tender beef. Kudos to the chef to creating such an amazing blend of cross-cultural flavors. We are super happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood and will definitely be back soon! read more

Love the foods! I come often here once a week or every other week. However, their service is always bad. They used to have 2 servers and now anytime I go there, no one is there to greet you or seat you. The owner is always on their laptop in the corner. Server is always in the kitchen. Sad this restaurant is going downhill. Server needs to be better considering the food price. The food was good. It had strong taste. We got fried rice. The egg on top was cooked perfectly with running egg yolk. I loved the basil leaves in my fried rice. I got beef soup on the side which went well along with the fried rice. Garlic noodle was also great with full of umami. It's complete opposite from bland flavor. I also liked the spring rolls, the veggies inside were fresh. Service was not so great though. My friends were also not happy with the service. It was on a very busy weekend, but still... Ambience was ok. I would want to go back there when I crave food with strong umami flavor. The taro coffee was great!! Perfect sweetness. read more

Overall, it was a nice experience at Omeli. If you are looking for a place to have lunch and dinner, Omeli would be your best choice!!! read more

It's a bigger portion than the dish I had more than a year ago. Also, this doesn't have wonton strips and peas. You order at front, and food and drinks get sent to your table. There's also a 3% surcharge to your subtotal for using a card. They cook your food to order here, and I could smell the fried rice getting prepared on the stove. The fried rice is strong in flavor but not too salty. It's similar to what you might get from a teppanyaki restaurant. The chicken was also good, but I felt that the rice had much more flavor. It wasn't really juicy as well. Otherwise, this made for a great dish, and I had some leftovers for the next day.

Sabor perpetuates this reputation by having a nigh-perfect example of how to make this dish sing. I loved every bite of this, even at $21 for the half-chicken version of it. The service was okay--quick to answer questions and getting our food out to us in a relatively timely manner. What was nice too is Sabor didn't go the route of charging for each aji verde sauce, which I liked. When you're used to going through half-a-bottle with every polla a la brasa meal, it's very important that that wonderful concoction is ready to go when you're ready for another bite of chicken, fries, or sometimes by itself. The space is kind of limited and I really wish it had more diners coming through. But as it was it had an okay vibe to it, like you're eating at your local spot that the tourists and gawkers haven't caught up with. I think it's a prime candidate for just bringing a book to allow time for your food to digest after. I think this spot will be a new addition to the local eat rotation, especially after the Fullerton Central Library meet-ups.

Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. When my son had made the reservation he must have told them we were celebrating my birthday because in addition to the regular dessert course, our server brought me a birthday dessert which included green tea ice cream and a slice of matcha cheesecake. The full omakase experience was delicious and so fun! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

Omeli Kitchen in Fullerton is a delightful fusion restaurant that blends Vietnamese and Peruvian flavors seamlessly. The small yet cozy space exudes a comforting and homey ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed dining experience. The service is quick and friendly, adding to the inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food. Each dish is a testament to the culinary creativity and skill of the chefs. Here are some dishes I tried and highly recommend: * Vietnamese Shrimp Spring Roll: A fresh and flavorful appetizer that sets the tone for the meal. * Crispy Eggroll: A classic dish done to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful filling. * Nui Xao Bo: This dish showcases the chef's expertise in blending Vietnamese and Peruvian flavors. The Macaroni Filet Mignon Beef with Asian combined sauce, rice macaroni, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, and celery creates a harmonious fusion of tastes and textures. * Lomo Saltado: A standout dish that is juicy, flavorful, and served with an incredible spicy sauce that elevates the flavors to another level. * Grilled Tiger Prawn Fried Rice: A satisfying and well-executed dish that combines the freshness of grilled prawns and peas & carrots, with the comforting flavors of fried rice. * Grilled Vermicelli Noodles with Grilled Prawns: A light yet satisfying option that showcases the freshness of the ingredients. Among these dishes, the Lomo Saltado truly stood out for its juicy, flavorful profile and the addition of the incredible spicy sauce that took it to new heights. The Nui Xao Bo, with its unique blend of Vietnamese and Peruvian influences, was also a standout, showcasing the chef's innovative approach to fusion cuisine. Overall, Omeli Kitchen offers a dining experience that is both comforting and adventurous, with a menu that celebrates the best of both Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisines. Whether you're a fan of fusion cuisine or simply looking for delicious food in a welcoming environment, Omeli Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. read more

I recently dined at OMeLi Kitchen in Fullerton and had a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a unique fusion of Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisines, creating a diverse and flavorful menu. Ambiance: The interior is clean and minimalistic, featuring gray walls and wood decor that lend a modern yet rustic charm. The space is cozy but well-organized, making efficient use of the area. Service: The service was exceptional. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff managed everything seamlessly. We were seated promptly without a reservation, and the attentive team ensured our dining experience was pleasant. Food: The menu is extensive, offering a variety of dishes that cater to different palates. We started with the Crispy Egg Rolls, which were packed with flavor and served piping hot. For the main course, the Pho Short Rib stood out; the broth was rich, and the short ribs were tender and generous in portion. The Oxtail Fried Rice, topped with a perfectly runny fried egg, was another highlight, boasting a hearty amount of succulent oxtail. The star of the evening was the Lomo Saltado; the filet mignon pieces were incredibly tender, and the accompanying Peruvian green sauce added a delightful kick. Drinks: To complement our meal, we tried the Taro Coffee, which offered a unique twist on the traditional beverage, blending the earthy notes of taro with robust coffee flavors. For those preferring something sweeter, the Tra Li Chi tea, infused with lychee and peach, was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Overall Experience: OMeLi Kitchen provides a memorable dining experience with its fusion of Vietnamese and Peruvian dishes. The combination of a cozy ambiance, attentive service, and delectable food makes it a must-visit spot in Orange County. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return to explore more of their menu offerings. read more

I went to Omeli Kitchen for a lunch date with some friends. I'd heard nothing but good things about the place, so I was excited to check it out. I arrived pretty early, so it wasn't too crowded yet, but after about an hour, it definitely got busier. If you're planning to go, I'd suggest getting there early, hitting the off hours, or hopping on the waitlist online. For this visit, I went with one of my go-to pho orders, the Pho Short Ribs. It did not disappoint. The broth was super flavorful and aromatic, and the rib meat was incredibly tender. It was falling off the bone! They also offer unlimited noodle refills, though honestly, the portion of noodles was already pretty filling. But, it's a great thing to know if you're extra hungry and want more. I did try a bit of some other dishes, but I thought they were just okay. I tried a bit of the Lomo Saltado, and while it was fine, it wasn't as delicious as the pho. The flavors weren't as strong as I expected, so I wasn't as impressed with that dish. I really liked the overall vibe of the place. It was well-lit, and I loved that all the condiments you'd want are already on the table. There's plenty of seating, but it's a bit of a small spot. The service was also pretty fast, so there wasn't too much of a wait after ordering. Overall, I really enjoyed the pho and would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area to try a few more of their offerings. read more

A Hidden Gem for Vietnamese Comfort Food! I recently joined six of my coworkers for lunch at Omeli Kitchen, and I left already planning my next visit. I'm always on the hunt for a great bún thịt nướng, and Omeli Kitchen absolutely delivered. The pork was perfectly seasoned, well-marinated, and grilled with that smoky flavor that makes this dish so satisfying. Every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. What really caught my attention, though, was what everyone else ordered. Four of my coworkers went with the Ribeye Garlic Noodles, and wow ; it looked incredible. The ribeye was cooked beautifully, and the garlicky noodles looked rich and irresistible. After seeing those plates hit the table, I've already decided that's what I'm ordering next time! Don't skip the sides, either. The cucumber salad was refreshing, crisp, and surprisingly addictive. The BBQ pork roll was another standout fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the meal. Great food, generous portions, and plenty of menu items that make you want to come back and try something new. If you're craving Vietnamese -Peruvian fusion flavors or are curious about those famous garlic noodles, Omeli Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. Pro tip: Order the bún thịt nướng, grab a cucumber salad, and if you're with friends, make sure someone gets the Ribeye Garlic Noodles you'll probably be ordering them on your next visit too! read more

My dining experience at the Peruvian Vietnamese restaurant was a delightful journey through the vibrant flavors of Vietnam, delivered with authenticity and care. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to ensure my dining experience was memorable. The menu presented a unique fusion of Peruvian and Vietnamese cuisines, and I was thrilled to explore this innovative culinary combination. Each dish I tried boasted the unmistakable authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine, from the fragrant pho to the flavorful banh mi. The use of fresh herbs, spices, and traditional cooking techniques truly elevated the dining experience. Moreover, the customer service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Their genuine warmth and hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I was so impressed with my first visit to Omeli Kitchen a few months ago that I knew I had to come back and explore more of their menu! This time around, I tried the Lobster Garlic Noodles. This dish featured tossed lobster with Omeli's house sauce, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, and green onion. The garlic flavor was spot on, and the noodles were perfectly soft and flavorful. I also got the Crispy Chicken Wings during this visit. They came out fresh and hot, with a super crispy texture and a punch of garlic, thanks to the special house sauce. These wings were definitely a winner! Of course, I couldn't resist getting the Pho Short Rib again. The tender short rib and that comforting, flavorful broth never disappoint. It's one of those dishes I could enjoy any day, and I was so happy to see it's still as delicious as the first time I tried it. The Lomo Saltado was my favorite during the last visit, and there's a reason I went for it again -- the filet mignon is juicy and perfectly cooked, making every bite so satisfying. I also tried the Pacific Ocean drink for the first time, and it was the perfect refreshment. The blend of peach purée, blue curaçao, and jasmine green tea was both sweet and soothing. So happy to be back at Omeli Kitchen! I am already thinking about what I'll try next. ;) read more

OMELI Kitchen is a true gem in Fullerton! As soon as I walked in, I was taken away by the vibrant lights hanging from the ceiling and the lush greenery decorating the walls. The restaurant was playing Vietnamese music, which made me feel immersed in the culture and added to the authentic dining experience. We were warmly greeted by the freindly hostess who quickly showed us to our seats. Looking at the menu, I decided to try the Pho Combination, which comes with an assortment of meats - filet, beef belly, brisket, and beef ball! A cool detail that I noticed on the menu is that they offer free unlimited noodles upon request for the pho. The bowls arrived quickly, mine coming in aromatic and smoking hot. The beef bone broth was rich and authentic, with soft noodles that soaked up the flavors nicely. The meat was really tender and juicy. Fresh lemon, herbs, and bean sprout were provided on the side, which added freshness, crunch, and crispness to the dish. It was one of the best pho I've had ever. EVER. Overall, my experience at OMELI kitchen was fantastic, as it provided such a nice environment and a friendly staff. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious, warm meal. O'meli Kitchen is a standout for anyone looking for elevated Vietnamese cuisine in Orange County. They skip the shortcuts and focus on high-quality proteins and vibrant, house-made sauces. The Standout Dishes Oxtail Fried Rice: This is the definition of comfort food. The oxtail is shredded directly into the rice, so you get that deep, savory beef flavor in every spoonful without having to navigate around bones. Topped with a sunny-side-up egg and fragrant Thai basil, it's a rich, cohesive dish that hits all the right notes. Soft Shell Crab Curry: The execution on the crab is flawless--perfectly crispy and light. The accompanying yellow curry is aromatic and creamy, providing a great balance to the saltier crunch of the crab. Shaken Beef Rice Bowl: The beef is clearly a premium cut, seared to a perfect tender finish. It's served with a fresh salad and a bright green chili-lime sauce that provides a necessary zesty kick to the savory steak. O'meli Kitchen manages to feel sophisticated while remaining approachable. The service is professional, and the kitchen's attention to detail--like shredding the oxtail for ease of eating--shows they really care about the guest experience. It's a must-visit in Fullerton. read more

This restaurant served me the most incredible combination of flavors I have ever experienced. I never imagined Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion could taste this amazing. The moment I tried their signature dish, Lomo Saltado, I realized something profound. Ah, this was not just food. I was savoring a masterpiece. The perfect harmony of crispy French fries, tender filet mignon, and fragrant jasmine rice was nothing short of extraordinary. It felt like a grand ball unfolded in my mouth with every bite. That was not all. The Lobster Garlic Noodles, King Tiger Shrimp Fried Rice, and even their take on pho were absolutely sensational. Every dish was seasoned to perfection, avoiding both excessive saltiness and blandness. Paired with their house-made sauces, the flavors reached a whole new level. The green sauce served with the Lomo Saltado, in particular, stood out. It was so delicious that I wanted to savor every last drop. Even their drinks were an adventure. The Tra Le Chi offered a delightful surprise with a sweet note that concluded with a slightly bitter jasmine tea aroma, gliding gently across the palate. The Pacific Ocean? Simply phenomenal. This place is not just a restaurant. It is a celebration of culinary art. read more

The Food & Drinks: Lomo Saltados (Beef & Shrimp): An absolute home run. Both proteins were cooked completely on point, and the seasoning struck the ideal balance. Spicy Chili Wontons: A major highlight of the meal. In fact, these easily rival (and arguably surpass) the wontons at Din Tai Fung. Popcorn Chicken: A massive hit with the kids--crispy, flavorful, and kid-approved. Pho: Ordered primarily for the children to enjoy the noodles, so I didn't get a full taste myself. However, given the exceptional quality and execution of everything else we tried, I am confident their phos are just as solid. Atmosphere & Service: Space: The restaurant is smaller than expected, creating an intimate setting. Because of its size, I imagine it gets packed very quickly during standard lunch and dinner rushes. Going just past lunch hours was a great way to avoid the crowd. Service: Fair, attentive enough to keep things moving smoothly for a hungry group with kids in tow. Final Verdict: A fantastic accidental find! Blending Vietnamese and Peruvian flavors can be tricky, but this spot executes it brilliantly. Great food for adults and kids alike--we will definitely be back. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at OMeLi Kitchen, and it was a culinary experience that left me genuinely impressed. Here's a rundown of the dishes that made my visit memorable: Shrimp Spring Rolls: Fresh and Flavorful The Shrimp Spring Rolls were a perfect start to the meal. Packed with freshness and flavor, each bite was a delightful combination of crisp veggies and succulent shrimp. A refreshing appetizer that set the tone for the feast. Phở Noodle Soup: Classic Comfort The Phở Noodle Soup at OMeLi Kitchen is a testament to their commitment to using the freshest ingredients. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. A classic comfort dish that warmed my soul. Lomo Saltado: Fusion Perfection The Lomo Saltado showcased OMeLi's ability to master diverse cuisines. The fusion of Peruvian and Asian flavors was a revelation. The tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and savory sauce created a symphony of taste that was both unique and delicious. read more

Just had the most incredible experience at Omeli Kitchen in Fullerton, CA! If you're craving a fusion like no other, this is THE spot. Their Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion is something out of this world. First up, the Lomo Saltado with their house green sauce - oh my yum! It's a perfect blend of spices and flavors that dance in your mouth. The sauce? Just heavenly! But wait, there's more! The Ox Tail Fried Rice? Absolutely to die for. It's rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And don't even get me started on the Garlic Noodles - they are the definition of mouth-watering. Every dish is a standout at Omeli, making it hard to choose a favorite. Whether you're a fusion food lover or just looking for a delightful new dining experience, this place will not disappoint. Just had an unforgettable meal at O'Meli Kitchen! We tried a variety of dishes and drinks, and everything was beyond impressive. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee (rich and smooth) and the DejaVu lemonade with peach and yuzu -- super refreshing and packed with flavor. For food, we ordered the crispy calamari with green, yellow, and red peppers and jalapeños (perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat), the lobster garlic noodles (buttery and full of flavor), the ribeye pho (deep, comforting broth), and the Lomo Saltado with filet mignon -- hands down my favorite dish of the night. The filet was unbelievably tender and the flavor combo was perfection. The staff were so friendly and attentive -- they really made us feel welcome and taken care of. On top of all that, the ambience is incredible. It's modern but cozy, with a cool, elevated vibe that still feels warm and inviting. Perfect for a relaxed night out or a special dinner. Can't wait to come back! read more

Omeli Kitchen is a great spot with a lot to offer. I recently dined here and was impressed by the variety on the menu and the unique flavors in their dishes. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you can tell there's a lot of care put into their cooking. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented, which added to the experience. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the service was a bit slower than expected. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's something to keep in mind if you're on a tighter schedule. Pricing was reasonable for the quality, but a couple of dishes felt slightly overpriced compared to others. Still, the flavors and creativity made it worth the visit. Overall, Omeli Kitchen is definitely a spot I'd recommend for anyone looking to try something delicious and unique. I'll be back to explore more of their menu soon read more

If I hadn't wanted to try anything else, I could have eaten the entire plate of lobster garlic noodles since I was that fond of them. The tiny lobster chunks had a nice coating of flavor and were crunchy. The noodles retained the taste of garlic well, and they were chewy as well. There was also wonderful beef fried rice in a shake. The steak was tasty even if it was a little rough, and the rice was fluffy and well-seasoned. Since I could have probably cleaned that one myself, I told myself to quit eating it as well. Although I heard that the macaroni filet mignon was a must-order, I only found it to be mediocre at best. The noodles were a little floppy and overdone. Having said that, the meal had a fantastic flavor. We also shared some tofu spring rolls, which were delicious in and of themselves, but the accompanying peanut sauce seemed a little too sweet for my taste. Stronger peanut flavor would have made it better. read more

Last night, my friend and I had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an experience worth sharing. I ordered the Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles, and let me tell you, it was a dish to remember! The portion was generous. As for the beef, it was tender and cooked to perfection. My friend opted for the Fried Rice, and he was equally impressed. But what really elevated our dining experience was the service. Our server was friendly. She recommended the dishes we ended up ordering, and it's safe to say their suggestions were spot-on. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service are outstanding. In conclusion, I'm giving this restaurant a well-deserved 5 stars for both the incredible food and the excellent service. If you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese cuisine that's both delicious and served with a smile, this is the place to go! read more

Omelie Kitchen is a great alternative to Vox Kitchen, particularly if you reside in Fullerton and don't want to make the drive to Fountain Valley. While the restaurant may be on the smaller side, the service is friendly, helpful, and incredibly quick. The decor inside is very nice and would be a romantic and cozy date spot. The Lomo Saltado at Omelie Kitchen is delicious, with juicy and tender beef that is sure to satisfy your tastebuds. The standout dish, however, is their garlic noodles with shrimp, which are perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The calamari is also worth mentioning, as it is both crispy and tender. The portion sizes at Omelie Kitchen are generous, ensuring that you leave feeling satisfied. If you're in the Fullerton area and craving Vietnamese fusion food, I highly recommend giving Omelie Kitchen a try. read more

This spot in Fullerton has quickly become my new favorite. Despite my initial skepticism about fusion, the blend of Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisines here is exceptional. The menu is well-designed and easy to navigate, mostly in English, signaling a unique twist on traditional Vietnamese fare. The attentive young staff keeps things running smoothly, and the food is outstanding. We tried both oxtail and chicken pho, and both had clean, flavorful broths. The portion size left me a bit indifferent, but the overall quality compensated for it. The iced teas were a highlight--flavorful and well-balanced. The owner, possibly a manager, was actively involved, even bringing out food for regular guests. Despite my reservations about fusion, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. read more

Seen this spot popping up lately and decided to stop by on my birthday this past Sunday with the family. I ordered the Pho combo. I have to say it wasn't my favorite. The water from the noddles watered down the broth so much it lost the flavor I was looking for. I also ordered the garlic noodles and steak... it was lacking a lot of flavor also in my opinion. Wifey got the oxtail pho.. her words were, "I wouldn't order it again." Over all the food was lacking a lot of flavor. Service was fast and attentive. Restaurant felt clean and tidy. Atmosphere was good as well. It is a pricey location also. I spent $200 on 3 adults and 3 children under 10 and was charged a large party gratuity fee. Anyways, want worth it in my humble opinion. On to the next! read more

Yummy dishes, but limited choices. We had a pleasant experience but just wished they had more authentic Vietnamese dishes. Nevertheless, the portions were huge so we felt like we definitely got our money's worth. * Popcorn Chicken: 9/10 - super tasty and good sauce * Nui Xào Bò: 9/10 - yummy and great combination of beef and veggies * Lomo Saltado: 8/10 - wish the filet pieces were a bit smaller * Bún Tôm Nướng: 6/10 - peeling the prawns was a hassle The workers were nice and everything came out at a reasonable time. The interior was quite small, but they still somehow managed to fit a good amount of tables. They're located in the corner of a large plaza so parking should be relatively easy. Pretty good! read more

The inside of the restaurant is clean, well -kept, and staff are also very nice. I also love how there is always good seating, regardless of the hour of the day. They are always able to accommodate our party and have us seated quickly. They also have good group deals like their combo for 2,3, or 4. I would say, generally speaking though, each bowl can serve 4 people--of course varying by appetite. All their portions are quite generous, and toppings taste very fresh. I am a huge fan of their rose sauce, which is mild enough to be friendly for people with low spice tolerance, like me. I also really love adding their cheese pour and getting a side of wings. Both add ons really elevate the meal and truly builds up the experience. I also want to give a special shout out to their snowing cheese wings; they're perfectly crunchy and have a fun, almost popcorn-like, cheese flavor. This was a really poorly run 1 year anniversary event. They did SO much marketing for their 50% off…read moresale but it seems like besides marketing they didn't put effort into anything else. No logistics, no planning, poor management, not enough staff. We got there a little before 2 and were #58 in line (party of 3). Outside the crowd didn't look that bad but I assume it's people waiting in cars or killing time in the plaza. 58th was a harsh place to start but we were committed like how bad could it be right, people go in and out, there should be some type of flow.... no. The estimate said something like 100 minutes... also no. Half the tables were empty and it looks like there were only 2 people working. The promo actually says dine in AND pickup so I'm not sure if they're busy because of the togo orders because there weren't that many people in the actual restaurant vs the crowd waiting. Like every other table was empty they definitely could've sat people. Oh they didn't have enough workers? WHY NOT! Why wouldn't you staff more people when you heavily marketed this weekend as a discount weekend and therefore should be expecting more people. After the first hour we gave up and ate elsewhere but just for your reference, we only moved up to the 40s by the first hour. And then THREE hours later (5 pm) we remembered like omg we forgot to exit the waitlist huh...but then also realized that we never got a text saying table is ready so we must not be close yet. 3 hours later we were #10 in line. Side note: At the 1 hour mark we asked if we could order togo and they said no, you would have to still wait for your turn on the waitlist (aka to be seated) to order togo. That doesn't make sense because there's SO many people waiting and this list is barely moving (togo or not) so then why is your focus on the outside/3rd party/delivery apps because those must be the orders that you're fulfilling. Poorly managed but to the extent where you wonder if it's intentional, like they wanted the crowd and the hype but didn't really want that many people getting the 50% off deal. It's almost like they wanted you to give up and pay DoorDash full pricing instead (because you're already there) and those delivery orders are the ones you see actually getting prepared vs the people sitting inside. Also, it's not like the people seated were taking forever to eat ok. I want to say people were eating at a normal place no one was camping out wasting time (or at least from what I could tell) but it just took long for the food to get brought out and not all the tables were occupied. So you have empty tables and seated tables with no food. If you're so concerned about the kitchen getting backed up there's definitely ways to stagger seating and not just keep the place empty. It's just a combination of lots of people waiting, lots of empty tables, people sitting at tables aren't getting their food that quickly, focus on togo orders and for the waitlist to be getting cleared at SNAIL SPEED where 3 hours and you're still not seated ... just ridiculous all around.
