Always good here! A yummy go too! First time having the salmon and it was amazing. Loved the texture of the Caramelized top and all the flavors! Greek salad always my go to! Service was good and fast at lunch time! Lamp chops always good!

Came here for a birthday celebration, accommodated us to patio seating right away, server was amazing, and food was great. I've been wanting to try this spot for years and definitely don't regret it! Btw feta fries are where it's at! The rocka salad is to dieeee for and works as a great side for steak, if you like acidity, get it! The way the apples and pumpkin seeds, and red onions marry together was divine! Also the zucchini chips sauce that it comes with good lord idk what it is but it was delicious !

Olive Pit is quickly starting to become a favorite! I've been here a couple times. Each time I've had a great experience. Service is great. The servers are very attentive. Food and presentation is excellent. I have nothing bad to say here. They make a killer margarita.

Modern Mediterranean spot in Brea. Very nice interior and clean. Ordered the sirloin steak entree with a side of Mediterranean salad and basmati rice. It tasted really good. Love the hummus. Public parking conveniently located at the back of the restaurant. Our server was attentive.

A little tricky to find parking on a Friday night. We called ahead to see if we could be added to a waitlist, but we were told that they do not have one. I also noted before that they do not accept reservations either unless it's a larger party. However, the wait only ended up being about ten minutes after we were told fifteen-twenty. We had grilled chicken and steak kabobs and both were great. The rice and fries as well. I also tried the avgolemono soup. It needed more richness but it was still good. Margaritas did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm definitely coming back.

Came here to celebrate two birthdays. Another awesome experience here at Olive Pit. We started with an order of spanakopita and fried calamari. The batter on the calamari was light and perfectly fried. The spanakopita was flaky and tasty. Our son ordered the pastitsio which looked great and he said was delicious. His wife ordered the lamb gyro entree which she loved. My wife ordered the single sirloin kabob with salad and basmati rice while I ordered the double sirloin kabob with basmati rice and fried artichoke hearts. The sirloin was cooked to medium rare which left it tender and yummy. Our server, Deb, was kind to bring us two birthday desserts for our two birthday guests. We love the decor in the restaurant and gives you a nice Greek atmosphere.

Can you reach nirvana with a burger? After trying the lamb burger at Olive Pit Grill, I'm convinced you can. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, this burger was absolutely to die for. On a whim, I asked our server what I should pair it with, and he recommended the Hazy Little Thing IPA. I have to give him credit--it was the perfect pairing and took the whole meal to the next level. The service was just as memorable as the food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely steered us in the right direction with his recommendation. If you're a burger lover, do yourself a favor and order the lamb burger... and don't skip the Hazy Little Thing IPA alongside it. You can thank me later.

The Olive pit is a local favorite when I'm in Brea. Girls shopping day ended with an early dinner here. My favorite is the grilled chicken entree with basmati rice and Mediterranean salad. Ordered a side of hummus for the table. The service was good, food came to the table at a reasonable time, refills were offered. We waiting a bit for the check and to request boxes a while after we were done eating. None the less, we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back.

Dolmades
William W.

This Greek spot in Orange County has decent Mediterranean cuisine. The dolmades are alright, but the sauce could be better. The spanakopita is mediocre, not remotely as good as what our family makes at home. But the Feta Fries are incredible! That's my best recommendation here! The lamb dishes and various kabobs are also pretty good. The restaurant is in a great location in the heart of downtown Brea, and the service is excellent! But the Olive Pit isn't going to wow you as much as some of the best Greek restaurants in SoCal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area indefinitely my favorite Greek restaurant. I have a tendency to always order the same thing. Here my go to is usually the lamb Jairo or the lamb chops but lately I've been trying to try different things. I am happy I chose to do this as I have found items that I have loved that I just hadn't tried. I had this year tuna one day and it was really good. It was perfectly cooked and it had a good sauce but the one item that I was honestly surprised was the half roasted chicken. I tend not to order chicken at restaurants because I am worried that the chicken will be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was really good and I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to switch dishes, but I absolutely did not allow him to. The chicken was just very juicy and tender. For the sides, I used to always get hummus, but I didn't know that they had an eggplant dip similar to baba ghanoush. Now that I have tried it, it is my go to. You can really taste a roasted eggplant in there and the texture is similar to hummus. My other go to side are the artichoke hearts because they are so big they are roasted and it's a good portion. Overall this remains to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I will be back.

Lamb Gyro Wrap with upgraded Feta Fries.

Although the Olive Pit is in busy Downtown Brea, there's a parking structure right behind the restaurant, so parking is a breeze. They have a very nice patio area as well as spacious and stylish indoor seating. It was a bit windy today, so we chose to sit inside. There are both tables and half table half booth seating, and the booths are very homey and comfortable in that the backs are lined with an assortment of throw pillows. Our server today, Chris, was one of the best servers we've had in a while. He didn't make us feel rushed, checked on us regularly, was very personable, and just had a great sense of humor. My friend ordered the margarita flat bread and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were generous without being too heavy to weigh down the crust. I had the lamb gyro wrap and upgraded to feta fries for my side. The feta fries had a very generous amount of cheese and was really good. The lamb and veggies in the wrap were nicely proportioned, but it could have used more of a dressing or spread to tie it together better. It was an enjoyable visit thanks to Chris. The food was filling, so we didn't have room for dessert, but I have my eye on the baklava ice cream when we return!

This place has changed from my last visit; it is now a sit down restaurant with great atmosphere! Super clean. Outdoor seating is available. Friendly and attentive service I'm sure it gets busy on the weekend.Parking garage is located behind the restaurant. We got our food rather quickly. Everything was delicious. I do prefer the chicken kabobs over the steak kabobs; the chicken was more tender. Definitely coming back!

For a weekday lunch I honestly wished that they would have more business because the quality demands it. Not because it's a Michelin grade but because how happy and satisfied I was after the meal. The eggplant parmesan was perfectly prepared, thickness sliced just right and breaded lightly but still has the little crunch one would want. All on a bed of penne pasta and irresistible marinara sauce. The cheese was just right. It's hard to come by eggplant dishes that aren't overly greasy, oily to maintain their moisture and texture but Alza Osteria have done it! Olive tapenade was so yummy to start with and the sliced baguette, though simple, it's toasted with olive oil and accompanied the artichoke+olive mixture delivered to your mouth on a crispy slice. One thing I wished they had was un-decaffeinated coffee but I'm overlooking it and walking away the fuller person. Also the dessert selection read like mouthwatering dishes I wish I had the stomach for.

We started with a complimentary basket of soft, warm bread followed by an appetizer - olive tapenade ("a blend of marinated artichoke, Spanish, black & kalamata olives, garlic-rubbed crostini"). This was a party for the mouth; the savoriness of each bite was heavenly. For my main dish I ordered cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Initiallly the bowl seemed to have a small serving but in reality I could barely finish it; it filled me up! The ravioli was excellent but what really made it amazing was the deep, delicious flavor of the meat sauce. I imagined some Italian grandma in the kitchen cooking it for days. The prices on the lunch menu are surprisingly fair. More than fair. Which made me love this place even more. Mangia!

From start to finish, your team provided outstanding service and an excellent meal. That kind of thoughtful customer service is increasingly rare, and it did not go unnoticed. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. Throughout the event, many attendees shared fond memories of dining at Fratellino's over the years and spoke highly of both the food and the restaurant. We were happy to place several of your menus out for our guests to take home, and we hope that many will visit you again soon. Thank you once again for helping make our event a success. This is a tough review to write because it appears to be a family-run business, but hopefully the criticism is taken constructively. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt unwelcoming. There didn't seem to be a host or anyone greeting customers. We stood there somewhat aimlessly while employees behind the counter looked over at us without really acknowledging us or explaining where to go. One particularly strange thing we noticed was customers being turned away at the door and told there would be a wait, despite several tables appearing to be open. Then, about five minutes later, another couple walked in and was seated without any issue. Maybe there was an explanation for it, but from a customer's perspective, it was confusing and came across as very inconsistent. Unfortunately, the meal didn't improve things. The food was very bland and lacked the flavor I would expect from a good Italian restaurant. The bread we received tasted stale and was noticeably burnt. For comparison, I would honestly put the overall food quality below what you would expect from Olive Garden. Table service was almost nonexistent. Getting assistance throughout the meal was difficult, and even trying to pay the bill and leave felt like a journey. What concerned me even more was seeing several other customers spoken to in a way that came across as unnecessarily rude. I really wanted to understand why this place has such strong reviews, but based on our experience, I simply can't recommend it. Better hospitality, more consistent treatment of customers, more attentive service, and improvements to the food would go a long way.
