Third time being at okay noodle. This time I wanted to try something different, so I ordered their traditional hot pot rice. You pick the protein, but everything else comes the same. The dish takes about 20 minutes since they cook it with cripsy rice in the bottom. The service was good and the staff was attentive, but the food itself ended up being pretty underwhelming. The crispy rice added some texture, but overall the dish lacked flavor. Glad I got to try something new. However, it isn't something I would order again.

Great local place with some delicious Hong Kong / Chinese food. The clay pot rice is good. The soup dumplings are freshly made and never frozen. The ambience is cozy and the service is great. We've been here a few times now and the quality of the food is constantly good. The best part is the welcoming staff. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Good for rainy or sunny days.

Excellent. Yunnan…read morestyle rice noodles. Piping hot broth with noodles and lots of fixings. Ambience is serviceable. Bright, modern, solid. Maybe not cozy but you're not really going to linger here. Service is good but a little hectic. Friendly staff but they get a pass as they dish out noodles, apps, drinks and more. You're spoiled for choice here but everything is pretty good so I'll call out the extraordinary items. The fish broths are amazing, sweet in the seafood way with a deep richness of flavor. The black fish slices (poorly translated from Chinese, sorry) were satisfying. Boneless and tender. It's a small cost to upgrade from regular fish (I believe it's grass carp) but it's worth it though unfortunately I can't help much in terms of naming the upgrade in English. Their popcorn chicken is well executed, with light crunchy batter and well-seasoned meat. Their fruit drinks are nice too, including the pomelo grape and the peach. Ask for less sugar if that's your thing. Portions are ridiculous but admittedly we over ordered on purpose. Also, it's a common move to ask for the free noodle refill before getting your leftovers to go though we did not partake in the excess here. The bowls are already never-ending buckets of goodies. We did take our leftover broth though. No shame. In fact I'd be more ashamed if we wasted the soup.

Which I would've been fine with if not the rest of the problems that followed. Second was I didn't receive any utensils or napkins for take out. Lastly and the WORST PART my partner started eating her lemongrass Bun and after eating a couple bites and mixing all of it she saw that the chicken was RAW! My friend also ate the lemongrass chicken banhmi and found the same after a bite or two. I called immediately to ask what happened and the answer I got was "i cooked it myself" And that the chicken was in a brine. Regardless if it is in a brine, chicken should be cooked fully. I also mentioned I had eaten there before and I have never seen their chicken pink and their response was their supply chain is different now. I asked if they could compensate us for the 2 chicken dishes and they said no refunds. I said okay politely because what else could I do besides warn people not to waste their money here. So I decided to write this review. Beware of this restaurant.

My bánh mì was bland, the coffee was forgettable, and nothing justified the price. The bigger issue was how an allergy concern was handled. My partner (someone who has eaten Vietnamese their entire life) ordered bún, which traditionally includes peanuts. Instead, it came topped with mixed nuts , something she's allergic to. When she tried to clarify, a man we assume was the owner's attempt to mitigate was brash and unaccommodating, responding along the lines of "I don't care if you've eaten Vietnamese food before. We do things differently. We're not a 'Vietnamese' restaurant and it's written in the menu". That attitude set the tone. She had to order a pho separately and pay out of pocket just to have something safe to eat. It was also subpar with the wrong noodles and broth that didn't resemble pho. If you want to position yourself as an unconventional or "not typical" Vietnamese spot, that's fine... but you can't have it both ways and then be dismissive or rude when customers are understandably confused. Based on our interaction and the way management responds to reviews, I don't expect this feedback to land anywhere productive. We won't be back.
