Ordered through their app for table service. After an hour the order didn't arrive, but we switched tables, so someone else might have gotten my food. Explained it to the bar back, who brought over the manager. The manager apologized, and brought over the food in less than 5 minutes. I felt she went beyond normal customer service by refunding my tab without even asking. Impressive. I paid it forward by giving what I would have paid to the bar back. I highly recommend this establishment to others. read more

this place just keeps going! There is so much space and so many types of seating areas. It was a bit overwhelming asking which areas were table service vs. ordering ourselves a the bar. There are also different menus available depending one when you dine and where. A bit confusing, but the food was great and the beer even more so. I love the giant screen outdoors to watch the game as well. read more

I've been rapid firing reviews because I've been hungry lol Mac and cheese. Only second to the almighty burger on my favorite foods list. It's a long list but mac and cheese I'd definitely up there. I'm a traditionalist because I know how easy it is for this dish to be butchered by an attempt at creating new flavors. So, I decided to get the brisket Mac. I wasn't disappointed at all, I ate the whole thing, I have no regrets getting it. The way it was created was perfect for what they were going for. The cavapatti pasta was cooked well but had no binder; so it was watery. The flavors of the cheese were good but it required a touch more salt. The peppers gave it a nice acidic flavor along with the BOMB barbecue sauce that they used, but the brisket left a lot to be desired and the onion rings were soggy (but absolutely delicious). Brisket was dry and the pasta wasn't a true mac & cheese and had a watery base. I personally wouldn't get this dish again. I'll stick to traditional mac & cheese for now. read more

Donut day was today, this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurant/bar events! OHSO does a great job pairing unique beers with donuts. I know, it sounds kind of weird, I thought that too at first, but some of these pairings are magical. Ok, ok; maybe I'm exaggerating just a little. To be fair, some of the pairings aren't very good; while others are amazing! Today I tried 8 pairings; 4 were excellent, 2 were ok, and 2 I didn't care for. But it doesn't matter, is a fun time trying all these with friends! Makes for great conversation read more

I recently visited and I must say, the experience was horrendous, largely due to the manager. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that they had no interest in customer service. The manager was rude, dismissive, and seemed completely overwhelmed by even the smallest requests. We eventually got seated, then were told moments after that the table was reserved for another party and were asked to leave. read more

We just ate here. Michael our server was top notch and patient with us being new to this restaurant. My wife had the chicken and waffles with spicy syrup. I had the pork carnitas tacos. Both were excellent. She also had the vanilla berry squeeze smoothie ? More like a cider than a beer, very good. I had the red brewed in Flagstaff. Tasty companion to the spicier carnitas. All in all a very pleasant experience and when we come back to this area we will be back. Michael also helped my wife celebrate her birthday by recommending the chocolate mousse cake as a gift for her. Highly recommend the chocolate overload mousse, Light and very rich. read more

I have been here a few times. They have a really cool new area. Service is usually good. Food is okay. Nothing to write home about. Portions are on the small side. I don't care for the beer selection. I'd say give this place a shot if you want to go out for a drink and chill out in the new area. read more

Do yourself a favor and visit this this nice escape from reality in Gilbert. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience - shoutout to our waitress Emma and her manager Eddie. The food is absolutely amazing - the spicy chicken and biscuits are everything. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Gilbert. Highly recommend! read more

Came here to straighten out a bet I made with my best friend. We did it over a mule with peach whiskey which was delicious. We were however seated in a very cold area so it was a bit uncomfortable. We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip which was incredible. It had the perfect amount of chicken and hot sauce. It was a bit pricey and should have came with more chips. My main meal was the Arizona burger. It was good, however I remember it being juicer, and better at the Arcadia location. Still not bad. I tried my friends Cobb salad and it was well done. The bacon was fresh, it had avocado and egg which was all good. All in all a great choice. I had to take off 1 star for the coldness, lack of chips and slight disappointment with the burger - perhaps it was an off night. Come here if you love beer and good burgers! read more

We came by here for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. Previously we had been to this location and the Phoenix one but only for their brunch special which is also very good. When we arrived all of the strip on Gilbert was packed so we knew we'd be waiting for a bit but we didn't mind. Once we checked in with the hostess they let us know that we could go over to either of the two bars inside and get a drink and wait in the back patio area for our names to be called. We thought this was great because it allowed us to explore more of the restaurant and start trying some of their beers. From the main entrance you can't tell just how big this place is but it's a massive brewery with tons of seating scattered throughout. They even have a dog friendly back patio where we chose to sit and wait with our beers. We chose to go for some of their own brews that were a bit out of the ordinary and landed on the Vanilla Peanut Donut Brown Ale and the Matcha Man Randy Savage Stout. They definitely had a unique taste to them and slight hints of the flavors mentioned and we enjoyed both compared to usual IPA's we get since they were very smooth. In the time we got our drinks we were seated which was a huge underestimate of time from the initial 1.5 hour wait we were told that ended up only being 30 minutes. Their food is much of what you would expect from a brewery with lots of burgers, sandwiches and more heavy meals which pair great with a few beers. We decided on the pilgrim sandwich and the brat burger since we wanted to try something new and unique to the restaurant. Both had really unique tastes with the pilgrim sandwich being like a thanksgiving leftover sandwich and all the flavors of oktoberfest in the brat burger. We also ordered two more beers with our meal, the Walking Distance Kolsch and the Willet Reserve Bourbon Barrel Morning Grind Imperial Stout. The kolsch was very smooth and flavorful and the imperial stout had great balance and hints of chocolate and oats. After 10PM everyday they also offer late night happy hour on some of their food items from $5-$10 which isn't bad. Since we each had a few beers we decided to grub a bit more and chose to get and order of the Green Chile Pork fries. They reminded us of similar fries we'd had at another brewery and they were a good amount and just what we needed at the end of a long night. Overall we thought the staff was helpful and the food and beer were good and fairly priced. This is a great place to stop by in Gilbert if you want a more relaxed social environment that offers good food and good beer! @wanderingwithustwo linktr.ee/wanderingwithustwo read more

Fun spot, but very crowded and very loud. That being said, we were seated quickly (the "25 minute wait" ended up being about 5) and the server was lovely. Food was decent, but fries not hot enough (a huge pet peeve of mine). Huge bar with corn hole, seasonal outdoor movies, and a little arcade area outside. A fun concept and free parking nearby. read more

This is a review for The Park, which is adjacent to the main restaurant. Such a great concept. It is a chill and inviting patio where dogs are welcomed. A few free arcade games are available, alongside a ping pong table and corn hole. They have a limited food menu, but I really enjoyed the chicken Buffalo dip. Definitely one of my new favorite spots to grab a drink and enjoy some live music. read more

OHSO is one of our favorite spots for a good brunch or a low key dinner. The vibes are casual and fun, the staff is super friendly, and the food and drinks are on point. Their monster mimosas and chai martini are to die for and the beer samples are fun too. A great way to try out a few beers! Their chicken and waffles and breakfast burrito are also bomb and their meat and cheese board are a great option for a low key dinner. Above all, the dog friendly patio is another huge plus! read more

Never has a bar made me rethink where I live until I went to OHSO. The bar has everything - restaurant, brewery, bar, TVs, a patio, even an arcade. My friends and I went for the Cornhole competition while we were staying the night in Phoenix. We had five people so the bartender running it literally joined so I'd have a partner. The rest of the staff was also really fun and engaging. And there were so many people there on a Monday! The drinks were fantastic, but the food was average, especially for the price. But all considering, a enviable hometown bar. read more

We went to OHSO just hours after going to the local Gilbert's Farmers Market. We hadn't had a meal yet, so we were ready. And OHSO did not disappoint. Get there early enough to sit at the bar: super friendly bar staff with unique cocktails. You can watch the kitchen staff prep delicious plates while you sip on a beverage. Recommend a breakfast dish and along with it, they offer a penny beer! ( 10 oz). They make their own bourbon, whiskey and vodka. We sampled ( at the Farmers Market) the Peach Whiskey that was smooth and tasty. Also, the lemon verbena vodka that had a refreshing flavor. Multiple brews available for your taste buds . In addition to the bar area, there is a fantastic outside location and seating area that is "dog friendly" We ordered the breakfast bowl & breakfast wrap. We saw some fries go by and had to have those too! Presentation was great & food was good. The fries we aded a side of their poblano aioli and their house blend OHSO sauce. Both were delicious with those perfectly cooked French Fries. Many meals coming out of that kitchen looked fantastic. They have a fruity pebble French Toast that would most likely "knock yours socks off"! LOL Well worth the visit and we will be back!!!! Service 4 stars was very good given how busy they were Food - 2 stars Big, loud place but if you like eating and drinking with dogs all over the place help yourself- I won't be going back Food was less than average and way too many dogs - not to mention the table next to us that had 5 dogs !! Loved seeing another patron use his menu as a shield against his dogs face because it was barking! Gross! Don't touch the menus! Never going back.... read more

We stopped in for brunch on Saturday and had the salmon avocado bruschetta and mimosa - way fair pricing $18, however I'll try something different on my next visit. The bruschetta was good but they have a least a dozen more entrees on that menu alone.(Brunch menu). We had our 2 dogs with us as we had just come from the Gilbert Farmers Market. What a cool little park area they have for the pups to play or potty while waiting for a table. The patio area is very nice and well shaded. Each table comes with a bowl of water for the dogs as well. The wait the quoted was 20 minutes- they nailed it. Seated right on the money. We visited this restaurant as friends raved about the Salmon BLT. The ambiance was good, appreciated the decor and the pet friendly environment. The 2 hostesses were not the best, unfriendly and clearly not having a great time. For such an upbeat environment the energy at check-in was subpar. The wait was no too bad for a weekend and the food was fine. We had to chase down our waitress a few times but all in all an okay experience. read more

Outrageous Homebrewer's Social Outpost!!! I'm so pumped that they're finally in the east valley! After a long morning of spin class with the homies, we all came to OHSO to invade their restaurant for some brunch. Their brunch deals are great --- Free mimosa or 10 oz. AZ local beer with a purchase of brunch! Aw yis! First things first, get the OHSO Popcycle Blonde [It tastes like a lemon raspberry popsicle at an ABV of 4.5%]. For food, we all shared a Breakfast Bowl with steak, Chicken & Waffles, OHSO Monte Cristo, and the Biscuits & Beer Gravy. I was the one that ordered the Biscuits & Beer Gravy because I make poor [but delicious] choices. YAAAS! Portions for the biscuits & beer gravy were on the smaller side but it was still a pretty good deal with the free beer on the side. For the OHSO Popcycle Blonde, I'll definitely be back! read more

The food was good. No problem with that other than timing of the dishes, where one friend had to wait 15 minutes after everyone else was served to get her brunch. The main problem here is the health code that your bartender violated while handling glassware. I saw her reach for stemware in an overhead rack and grab multiple glasses by their inside and outside rims. This is a health code violation. It appears Ohso may have to train their bar staff in appropriate glass handling. Here is a copy of Barninja's website to support this. Mainly it's common sense. 1) Avoid handling any part of the glass that might come into contact with a person's mouth. Touching the rim or inside of the glass is a health code violation. If Ohso cannot get this visible health code right, then what else are they getting wrong? Site visited 9/5/2022 12:30 pm. read more

Fantastic service, fun atmosphere, varied menu and cool drinks. Definitely going to be back!

We started with drinks at bar, sorry bartender lady I didn't catch your name. She was great, working inside Sunday morning, gave excellent suggestions for beer choice! Landed on a light lager and it was very pleasant. Thank you. Once seated, took about 20 minutes at peak time which I didn't think was too bad. Plus plenty of room at inside bar. Bryson was our server and he was very cheery, super responsive and was just awesome. Food was awesome and a beer or mimosa with your meal is genius! No service. I met friends here, but after 30 or 40 minutes sitting at the table, we left. OHSO sucks. I still can't believe they got all those awards at the ASH meetings. I've been to two locations and have yet to get a beer. How are these places in business?! read more

OHSO Dookie Good food, rough service. I don't wear the fanciest threads but I try to tip 20-25% every time. I know serving can be hard especially in today's environment, but I could feel that our server made a snap judgement of me and my party. Every time she came to drop something off I had to flag her down or call out to her because she would run away from our table as fast as she could. I'm sure it's busy, I'm sure it's not easy, but she would avoid our table as other tables were getting the most attention. She was the Usain Bolt of OHSO. read more

OHSO DOOKIE. Nawh, but for real, service is meh. Shouldn't take the time from ordering, to receiving the food, to finishing the food before I get my drink. Food is meh. Was cold by the time I got it, but decently tasty. Would like to be able to have more than 1 drink an hour but oh well. read more

I love going to OHSO and I decided to go there this week for my birthday. We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. The food took surprisingly a long time to be delivered. When we received it I could tell that the food sat under the heat light for quite a while. I really enjoyed OHSO and it seems like I'm not the only one because the place was pretty packed. I ordered the hot chicken & biscuits. It was very rich and tasty. I don't like things too spicy, just a little kick, I was happy when our server asked if I wanted the buffalo sauce on the side. The brunch menu entrées include either a monster mimosa or beer which I think is a great deal. I also tried their bloody mary which was delicious and it has this spicy beef jerky. I would recommend this place. The food was delicious and service was excellent. read more

Wife and I went here for Sunday brunch. We've passed by it many times and decided to go. Service was great. Waitress had only been there a few days but was attentive and great with us. Great service!! Unfortunately that's we're the good part ends. Ordered the breakfast nachos with spicy cola pork. Pork was cook well and had decent fly but they didn't remove the fat and skin, and there was quite a bit. (I smoke a lot of meats including pork so I know it takes work but not that much time). Called the manager over and showed him the fat. Most uncaring reaction. Just said ok and walked off. Wasn't asking for anything, just understanding the food is being served sub par. read more

We are staying in downtown this week and stopped in for dinner last night. I'm glad I came to try this place! I was just told about it yesterday and I was immediately drawn to it, because it's dog friendly and they have a separate patio for you and your furry friend. The staff is all around friendly and nice in all directions. The reason I say all directions is because there was a lot of them, and there was two entrances or maybe just one and we went in the wrong way lol Anyhow they were very helpful to guide us in the right direction of the hostess. They have a cool texting system that lets you know once your table is ready, because they tend to stay pretty busy so this was a very organized way to keep us notified. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by our waitress and her trainee which were both super friendly. They let us know about their brunch special (1cent mimosa ) which was awesome because they knew it was our first time there. They brought us cucumber waters then our mimosas. After they took our orders our food did not take long to come out considering how busy they were. I had the avocado toast which was delicious and the avocado was very creamy and perfect. My gf had the breakfast bowl and she said it was very good and she would have it again. My only regret is not getting the fruity pebbles French toast to go.
