I have been eating here for a period of time to give it a good chance, and I must say, I am not disappointed! The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic! One thing to keep in mind; the place is ENORMOUS! what I mean by that is there are two outside and two inside bars and dining areas! So I recommend that if one doesn't suit you, another one will. The staff here is fantastic! The bartenders are excellent as are the drinks! I'm particularly fond of the "Catch me if you cran" and their espresso martini. The wait staff and other people are also excellent! This is a place that is enjoyable time after time! The food is very good, and certain things are fantastic! Their clam chowder is some of the best I've had anywhere! (and I grew up near the coast!). I'm warning though, currently the clam chowder is only available on the weekends! I totally recommend comin here for any kind of event, managers and staff will totally take care of your needs! Fantastic place! read more

O.H.S.O....PLEASE BE O.H S.O GOOD! Birthday dinner tonight last minute decision after reading some reviews. We have never been before so we parked in the garage. Was able to get a good picture of where the new play area they are building. Really excited!! Between you and me PRO TIP don't tell anyone....shhhhh" order the kids meals and appetizers first then when that arrives order your meals." this way the parents can eat and socialize while the kids play. Alright here we go! Walking in and down the street the streets were clean. O.H.S.O had their misters on outside as you walk to the front.....PRO TIP 2 "go in through the patio where the ping pong tables are." We went to the front only to walk to the back again. O.H.S.Ois huge! Packed! Although literally a 2 minute wait. They are dog friendly and have treats and water if you pup should need something. We took a treat for our dog he loved it! After we were sat in the patio (we chose the patio, warning quite loud out there, the inside was a whole different atmosphere more intimate) we promptly received water. Our waitress Nicole a superstar, thank you again for the amazing service! Really friendly, outgoing, cheerful, funny and can multi-task I counted 6 table she was assisting. It was flawless making sure everyone was taken care of with out a complaint from being busy! We ordered the following: Drinks and Kids grilled cheese, no crust. It was a grilled cheese and frys what can I say! Chips and Guacamole, this is probably the best Guacamole sine Mexico! Pumpkin seeds (papitas) for a nice little crunch, Pico, roasted corn not over cooked the corn was also crunchy, cotija cheese and perfect avocados. Buffalo Chicken dip, little spicy for me although my wife loved its kick! Made with perfectly shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, cream cheese made it creamer, blue cheese on the top and green onion, layer upon layer leaving my taste buds on fire! Brisket Sandwich, wife said she loved it saved half for work tomorrow. I didn't try it I was to busy scarfing down my food! I did try the sweet potato fries I belive upgrade $ not worth it for us they were mild to the touch like they had been sitting around a bit, limp, lifeless no crispness. No I didn't bring it up. Beer Braised Short Ribs. The only thing I would say is the short ribs reminded me of moms although a bit salty. Mixed with a little potatoes and it balanced it out.. short ribs boneless fall apart at the touch, with the porter dimi glaze I think it needed a bit more it was delicious. On the other hand the old saying "don't drowned your food in mayonnaise ketchup or goo" (can you name the commercial?) I don't care I should have asked for more!!! Garlic mashed potatoes and a mix of green beans, carrots orange and white fries as can be with a slight hint of butter and garlic. Pleanty of TV'S around to catch a game or 12, I have to say I do love this place. If they could just get new ping pong tables before the opening of the new play section that would be awesome as the look sad now, visually not appealing. I am sure they still do the job! We will definitely be back as I asked Nicole about the doughnuts that those are only weekends before 2p.. NOTED Throughout the meal if someone was passing by and saw a dirty plate they offered to take it, TEAM WORK! Everyone was watching Nicole's back jut like she was doing the same. They seemed to have a lot of staff working which is great to see or maybe was I just seeing the same people helping..in any case the staff from the kitchen to the servers and bussers Greta job! P.S. Skybug told Nicole it was my birthday so she said I get a free piece of cake whaaaaaaat wait what...yes please flowerless chocolate cake. I'm going to throw some snozzberrys or maybe raspberries on.... chop down like pac-man eating a ghost, go ahead make the sound you know you want to!!! You lived up to being O.H S.O GOOD! read more

This place was great! There are tons of different places to sit, it feels like several inside restaurants and several outside patios and bars all in one, really cool! They even have a large pet friendly patio, outdoor covered areas, tons of flat screens, missed systems, games and ping-pong. It started to get crowded as it got later, but it was not overly loud, it felt somewhat electric and really fun. Happy people all eating and drinking and having a good time. Service was super friendly and attentive by the various servers who took care of us over our three hour visit. We didn't order off of the regular menu, but the happy hour deals were incredible. They have an amazing selection of craft beers and they are a smoking deal on happy hour. I'm usually a one, maybe two, beer guy but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a picture of "Boston cream pie" for one dollar more than a pint. I totally paid for it later, but I'm sure one day I'll look back and think, " that was totally worth it!" it really was a fantastic deal and the selection is vast. Check out my pictures of the happy hour beer menu. We ordered the large pretzel with cheese dip to have something to munch on and it was excellent! The pretzel was big, hot and soft. The cheese sauce had some green chilies on top and it was delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to try some other beers and food items. In my opinion, this place can't be beat for happy hour! read more

This was our second visit here and definitely plan to return! We had the Popcycle Blonde and Book's Secret Stuff drafts. Both delicious! We shared the AZ burger and it was great. Service was attentive and quick. They have inside and dog-friendly patio seating. As we left I noticed people playing ping-pong out back. All in all, something for everyone here! read more

Decided to visit OHSO and sat at the bar on a hot Monday afternoon. They have a Big Ass fan which circulated air perfectly. Our server was Tim. He was personable and had great conversation. We asked him what OHSO meant and he said, "Outrageous Homebrewer's Social Outpost." I chose a Triple Dog Dare Sour to start. My boyfriend had a Hoppy IPA. We decided on the jalapeño cheese curds. They were ok, but needed a little more Jalapeño. I don't remember what my second drink was, but it was another sour which I liked more than my 1st. I love that they had a large selection. My boyfriend had another Hoppy IPA because he liked it so much. We will return soon, thanks Tim! read more

Enjoyed my third night of celebrating my 21st birthday here. Wasn't stoked about the food menu that they had. Not a lot of variety. Our server was really chill and let us be which was nice. I got the Oasis Chill to drink which was one of the best drinks I've had. Would highly recommend as the grapefruit vodka had a great flavor. The Buffalo Cauliflower was decent, but I've definitely had better Buffalo cauliflower elsewhere. They do offer a flight of beer upon request. 1.5 ounces for each beer and you get 4 beers. My favorite was the Fenedik. We enjoyed our time here, but would probably go somewhere else next time. read more

I've noticed that a lot of reviews are inflated to 4-5 stars. OHSO is cute with a fun ambiance. Our service left a lot to be desired as we had to ask other employees to please help us with things we needed or were forgotten. Cool place to hangout and have a beer but food was not phenomenal. Brisket fries were the best part of the meal. They were flavorful and large. My chicken and waffles were very cold and oily, so it was disappointing. My husband's Buffalo Chicken sandwich was also not hot and had an off-putting after taste. I wouldn't put this above a 2.5 star place for service or food. If you're coming for just beer and a place to hangout, this is a good option. Lots of people here with their kids and dogs and that was super cute. read more

Great spot for brunch lunch or dinner. They have expanded quite a bit lately so you can sit in different areas depending on what type of experience you are after. Lots of games and tv's if that's what you are looking for out side. The food is always solid and they always seem to have lots of staff. The patio is very cool even in the summer. read more

Number one SEC football game starts at 430 on a Saturday and you guys cut off the game with a lawn full of people watching it in the fourth quarter with two minutes left to have a terrible band play music so loud my dead ancestors could hear it. Not to mention I got kicked out for booing as did the entire lawn of people enjoying the game. Terrible place to watch sports and after spending hundreds of dollars there every weekend I will not be returning. read more

I went here for brunch on a Sunday. The brewery is in Downtown Gilbert and the inside of the building has some tables and booths with a bar in the center, walk past the bathrooms to find additional seating in the back and an outdoor space that's dog friendly. The atmosphere is laid back and has a nice ambiance. Our brunch comes with a complimentary beer or mimosa. The service was good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with hot chicken. read more

OHSO has always been a staple in downtown Gilbert! I have never left here disappointed in any way. The food is consistently fantastic! A great place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. If you're not in the mood for food then you can have a drink in as quick as a blink! Both the indoor and outdoor seating are great but the patio is a personal favorite of mine. If you haven't been you definitely need to give it a try! read more

This restaurant is huge! Inside, outside, and in between dining. There is even a spot to let your dog play. It has a great ambiance with music, a fun busy vibe, dog friendly seating, tv's to watch a game, yard games, and live band. Three of us went and two of us got amazing burgers. My hubs got the PBJ burger, and I the AZ burger...loved them! My teen got the TLC chicken strips and the flavor was bland (she is a chicken strip connoisseur.). I love the idea of the live music but this night the talent wasn't enjoyable. It was some kind of grunge wannabe band that wasn't pleasing to hear. Overall I would definitely go back because they have a great menu and they had a fun atmosphere. read more

This is the go to place for a nice and cheap weekend brunch. A group of us did what we call a Brunch & Burn and walked 2.5 miles to and from downtown Gilbert. The food and service is always great! Unfortunately my sunglasses were taken from the restroom which totally bummed me out. If I'd seen someone's anything laying in there I would have turned it in but I guess the person needed them more than I did and I'm sure they recognized that they weren't cheap. Karma will get them. read more

UPDATE* I finally got the ohso experience I always wanted. My family and I went for brunch (brunch usually never fails) received great service I wish I could remember our servers name, she was awesome! We love taking our pup and that's always great for her. Food came out fast and was good we had sweet potato fries and a skillet that came out nicely. Beers once again are my favorite point, but we all had a good time and enjoyed it thoroughly. Shoutout the staff, and management here. They deal with high volume, but have a solid system. Definitely looking forward to the next time! 4/5 best ohso experience so far. read more

Only giving this 2 starts instead of 1 because the beer was good. The food however was a disasters. We have been here before and this time we went about an hour and 20 minutes before closing. Our cheeseboard was about 1/2 the size its ever been, was pretty pathetic and not worth the money. My wife's sandwich's bread was so stale and dry and seems like it was left out all day and fries were cold. My carne asada taco board had 4 tortillas but had a 3 small pieces of meat....extremely small pieces.....seems like I got whatever was left for the day. Not enough to even really make 2 tacos...for $18. Also our server said she was leaving for the night at 9:3o and someone else would come introduce themself...that took 20 minutes and by that time it was too late to have something else made. My recommendation is to not come here late....it was crap and not worth the money at all! read more

Came here last Sunday for dinner and really enjoyed my time. Brought my sisters dog and was surprised to be greeted with dog treats and water at the table. Had lunch here on Sunday. We ordered Asian Chicken salads and it took an hour to get our food. When the salads came, there was no chicken on them. When we pointed it out, the server said "yes there is." I dug through my salad and there was as no chicken. He said, "oh" and took them back to be corrected. Poor service, slow kitchen, incomplete meals. read more

The customer service here is horrible ! I had a pick up order and they ping ponged me to three different places and were not helpful at all. The girls at the front looked at me from head to toe before answering the question of where I could pick up my food. Seriously have never felt so uncomfortable and dismissed at a restaurant. THIS WAS JUST FOR A PICK UP, I don't even want to know how the service is for dine in. Super disappointed. read more

We have been in here several times now and for different meals and just for happy hour. It is quickly becoming our go to happy hour spot. It does not have the best happy hour deals, but it is decent. They are always pretty busy, but not so much that you ever have to wait much. We enjoy the indoor seating and love the outdoor options, it is doable even in summer with their fans and misters. Service is generally good, but can be hit or miss. All the food we have had is good, but it doesn't make us crave it. What we do crave is the ever changing beer list. You can almost always find something new and it is usually decent if not great. In short, it has a great atmosphere, great beer list, which is generally delicious, decent food, and mostly good service. PROS: *Has happy hour *Variety of beers *Generally delicious beer *Good food (also has late night food) *Lots of seating and has multiple options *Service can be good *Has brunch on the weekends CONS: *Service is not always good *Food is not amazing *Expensive outside of happy hour read more

This was my first time coming here and I loved it. We got a cabana and it was such a blast! First off the main portion is outdoors with a bunch of TVs and a kids area which has stuff for kids to play with. They also have ping pong tables and everyone was playing. Dogs are welcome here as well so it was cute seeing all the dogs there. I ordered the chorizo egg skillet and it was soooo good!! I saw everything that everyone ordered and it all looked amazing!
