Don't be afraid to ask for samples if you just can't decide given only descriptions. I went lighter for my dinner and chose the kale pear salad, dressing on the side. It was very good. Everything was chopped in bite sized pieces. Pears were fresh and crisp. There was just the right amount of goat cheese and pecans. Very tasty. A friend had recommended we tried OHSO, and it is one of her favorite brewery/restaurant, and Im glad we listened. We went on a Saturday afternoon. We were 3 adults and a teenager. We sat inside, but they also had outdoor seating, which is pet friendly. They even have free doggy biscuits! They had just released their fall, aka everything pumpkin flavors, lol. Im not a beer drinker, so I had the apple pie cider, which was really good. I ordered their brisket mac and cheese- so good! Creamy, decent amount of meat. My husband and a friend both ordered burgers (the PB and J and the hatch chile), both cooked as they wanted them and come with fries. Our girl ordered the chicken and waffles. Staff a super lovely and accommodating us, we found a great spot on the patio under some heat lamps. We were told there was a more rowdy patio, and a more calm front patio, so that's where we sat with the stroller. There are a ton of TVs and all of the games were on. And as it got later the bar really filled up and the drinks were flowing, it seemed like a great time but we got out of there early. Would love to come back with friends and try this place out late night. We started off with the warm pretzel and dipping sauces. It comes with cheese, peanut butter and mustard. OHSO is a great place to bring everyone in the family including the furry ones. It is very kid and pet friendly with great adult drinks, good food and fresh air sounds like a win win for me! They have outdoor seating in the front and a huge outdoor patio in the back. There is also indoor seating. They do have happy hour and has great appetizer and drink options. I decided on 4 stars instead of 5 for OHSO Arcadia, but I do it reluctantly because I do love this place and visit frequently. OHSO's several locations have become a staple for Phoenix residents. Whether for a work happy hour or afternoon beer brunch, everyone is happy to visit an OHSO. The Arcadia location has a special feel to it, being the original location. I recently had the pleasure of participating in the beer brewing process. We worked with Dave (but mostly drank and watched) to brew a milk stout that will be tapped next month. It's a fun experience that I would recommend! The beer from OHSO is always high quality. So much so that I enjoy their IPAs even though I am not typically an IPA fan. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because of the food. I would say it's pretty standard bar food and I find it to be a bit overpriced for what it is. But that said, I still visit this place and order the food because the beer and atmosphere are so good. read more

The patio is linked to Little O's so you can choose which restaurant to dine at. Both are dog friendly patios. The patio areas are backed up to the canal with views of Camelback! I've eaten here a bunch of times and only once had to wait very long. The outside patio has misters which are great for the warmer months, and plenty of coverage so you aren't baking in the sun. There is always a ton of dogs here so if you plan yo bring your pet, make sure they are okay with a lot of people wanting to pet them and a lot of fur friends. Parking is really limited so you can either do complimentary valet or park in the neighborhood across the street and walk over. Overall this is a favorite place to go for good food and beer. When I first got here the parking lot seemed really full. I was about three cars back from the valet. I couldn't see the sign so I thought there was a fee. I parked down the street, but there is lot a few for the valet. The server was nice. Came by asked for our drinks and started us with an appetizer. He suggested the Buffalo Chicken Dip. It was really good. When it came time to dinner we asked what he like and he said the Mac and Cheese and the Chicken Tenders. I ordered the tenders and my wife ordered the Mac and Cheese. We both did not enjoy our meals. My wife's Mac and Cheese had no flavor. We even added the left over Buffalo Chicken Dip to her Mac and Cheese to try and give it more flavor. For me I always love chicken tenders and feel like it's always a save choice at restaurants. That was not the case for these. They we dry and the chicken was extremely hard to chew. I didn't really see or taste any crab but I hope it was there lol. We also ended up getting steak and fries. The fries were too thin for my liking and they got soggy with the sauce. The steak was good and seemed to be a decent portion for the plate itself. My friends got some drinks and apps as well. The consensus was that everything was great and the drinks were fair and fun. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the nice weather. Plenty of seating, both front and back patios, as well as indoor seating. After sunset, there were plenty of space heaters to keep us warm. The cheeseboard was very pretty to look at, but not that much cheese variety. The nuts were kinda crushed, but we laughed they were pre-chewed for us. The Buffalo chicken dip was not that great :( we wanted to like it, but it wasn't that creamy, and the pieces of chicken were quite dry. We got two pitchers: popcycle blonde + handlebar hefe. I'm sorry, but I was not a fan of the popcycle blonde...it was a bright pink (like the Starbucks tea refreshers), and tasted like a diluted La Croix x White Claw. Maybe should have tried it before ordering a whole pitcher... However, the handlebar hefe was much better! In terms of environment, it's a fantastic location along the canal with a view of Camelback. There are bicycle racks on the canal side if you biked over, and I like the option of a quick walk along the canal after a drink. I think we just ordered the wrong things, but everyone was so friendly so I hope to be back! One of my favorite spots in Arizona. I recommend the AZ burger if you are a big burger fan. We also tried a few different appetizer items. The outdoor seating is awesome fall through spring, but I can't imagine sitting out there during the hot 4-5 months of the year so be careful going during busy hours in the hot season. The table had the Chorizo Skillet, Chicken & Biscuits, and Breakfast Burrito. The skillet was fantastic and full of flavor.
