Yummy coffee. Mid point scoring doesn't mean it's bad but I wish there was more. This establishment is still new and as the year goes by I'm sure more will be added. The menu is limited. And yes sometimes that is good so they have focused and mastered items. They do have a turmeric latte which is different. I went with a hazelnut iced latte. It was really good. Not overbearing sweet, the coffee tasting smooth with the milk. It was good, for $5. Unable to order a larger size but the size is about a 12oz cup. (I'm probably wrong on the size, sorry if so). They have alternate milk choices. Parking is horrible as always with establishments on that side of Crenshaw. They were really friendly and helpful. They also have pastries. I liked my drink but I just didn't see myself wanting to comeback because I really enjoyed my drink. That is why I did a 3/5 stars. I'll check it out if more is added to the menu. read more

The service was quite amiable and patient. One foible is that they don't have portable, paper menus. I like to grab a menu and go outside to read the menu to my blind friends. I got an avocado toast and matcha latte which came out to exactly $16. The toast wasn't very filling, but it was quite aesthetically pleasing and delicious. Cute little space, bright and clean. Friendly staff. Very limited indoor/outdoor space but the bar seating next to the parking lot was a nice touch. On a slow day with perfect weather it's calming to sit out, savor the drink and just watch cars passing by. Plenty of shade. The campfire mocha tasted exactly like mocha. It sits underneath a thicker than usual layer of smooth, velvety microfoam. A tad rich and fluffy with the swell of sweetness making you think of s'morse in a latte just without the s'mores taste. Certainly an outstanding, memorable drink. Maybe add a touch of gingersnap cookies. Served with a stick of torched marshmallow, it was a delightful drink at a dreadful price tag. read more

Went during their soft opening and got an iced latte with oat milk. They use the Elmhurst 1925 brand of oat milk. I'm not usually a fan of lattes made using that brand because it just makes things taste kinda watered down and they add sugar to their oat milk, but this was actually pretty good!! Nice and strong, bold without being too overpowering. It definitely did not taste watered down!! The espresso was so smoooooooth and delicious!! Went back the next day and got an iced chai with oat milk. This was really good too!! I prefer things to be unsweetened, and this chai was kinda really sweet...I wish it had a stronger tea flavor. But it was quite delicious and refreshing, and it was something I would get again if I were in the mood for something not coffee/on the sweeter side. I could taste the cinnamon-y chai-ness, but I wish the flavor were a little more prominent Sampled some pastries including the kouign amann and almond croissant. Solid choices!! My one complaint: THEY DON'T HAVE OATLY!! Oatly is THE brand of oat milk. But I mean I guess there has been a 425% increase in oat milk sales this year, and Oatly isn't opening their new factory until March 2019...so I guess it's not something they can really control huh :( (HI the biggest cow juice alternative enthusiast you will ever meet) The baristas and workers are so friendly! They were debating between using two different chai brands, and they let us try both! Friendly smiles and good vibes all around :) Bottom line: I'm a fan!! A huge fan!! The inside is kinda small, but they were in the process of installing a few tables. It's simple. Minimalistic. Ive decided to bump my rating up from 4 to 5 stars especially since I now go every single week. The staff are some of the chillest people! Even the owner is chill as he walks around talking to people sparking up conversation. I did the most La thing and had green tea with CBD...I knowwww lol. I love to come here and work for 3 reasons: (1) yes, the location is small and thats a marvelous thing because there are 3 tables inside which means the inside never gets excessively loud and I can get a ton of work done (2) the coffee is really good! (3) im not sure why but the staff feel like your friends lol! Such chill people!! Adding CBD jacks up the price exponentially but overall the pricing is still fair. read more

Very pleased that there is finally a beautiful coffee shop in Torrance run by people clearly passionate about my morning ritual as much as I am! The decor is warm and elegant--there has been care and love dispensed in constructing this place. I really like the outdoor bar on the veranda (and am typing this review from here now). Looking forward to summer to enjoy a warm cup with a friend or date right out front. Okay so I've been to Offset a few times now and I've had no complaints so far. I've tried their chai, hazelnut, lavender and plain lattes, all with oat milk. Their chai is to die for. It's a really nice blend of spices and with a subtle kick that really gives you an authentic chai taste. I think their chai is my favorite so far. The hazelnut oat latte is really good too, sweet and nutty. Lavender is a big hit if you've always been a fan of floral or lavender flavors. And then the plain latte, where we can talk about the espresso and milk! Offset changes out their espresso every so often, which means you're almost always guaranteed to get a different taste each week you go. And so far, all the beans they've had when I've been there has been delicious! Really smooth espresso, not too strong, but not weak either! Blends really well with the oat milk and leaves a really pleasant taste on your tongue. If you like more robust espresso, I recommend adding an extra shot! I like both ways. And I haven't even mentioned the pastries yet! Literally every pastry is amazing. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie is my personal favorite. Also a good study spot, but be warned! Seating is limited and usually full. If it's not raining, they have additional seating outside, but otherwise too wet and cold to sit outside. I'm beyond happy with the newest coffee shop in the South Bay! I've been to Offset 5 times in the past couple weeks, it's safe to say I'm addicted. So far my husband and I have tried a vanilla latte (hot and cold), mocha (hot and cold) and flat white. Loved them all. My only complaint is that I like my hot drinks a little hotter. Now... their baked goods are amazing. I am in love with the guava scone!!! In LOVE! The apple pop tart is also delish. But my favorite part about Offset is how NICE everyone is. The lingering aroma of pulled espresso wafting throughout the quaint & intimate space was enough for me to know I had walked through the right doors. Unlike most, I'm okay with rejection & needing a second option... I chose to go classic & reliable, a vanilla latte. The espresso was very flavorful & complimented the vanilla extremely well. We recently went to offset coffee roasters on a whim because it was on the way. I am so glad that we went! I got the lavender matcha which was delicious. Not too sweet or bitter which can be a hard balance. My husband had the coffee and really enjoyed it. The baristas were very knowledgeable on coffee and were friendly. The gentleman that served me was the sweetest and patient when it came to making a decision (didn't get his name but he was a white male with chill vibes). He offered the special that were available and was informative when it came to recommendations. Decided to get the lavender matcha tea (which was recommended to get it on ice) and was out of this world delicious. With that I also got the avocado toast which hit the spot and was filling. First and foremost, I will say that it was nice to arrive and see a decent amount of parking spots. Upon ordering, the staff was very friendly and even offered me some water along with my coffee, all while Taylor Swift sounds played in the background mixed in with some other old school pop jams. The wifi was quick, and I enjoyed my beverage and would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. My only suggestion would be: if you're planning to bring your laptop to work, consider that the inside only has two small tables, and a tight bar-top. Omg this place is coffee heaven! Run by true coffee lovers who know their sh*t! Heir specialty lattes are always good but sell out fast (looking at you bourbon latte) so get there early if you want one. They always have something magical brewing. Also their teas look Amazing! I haven't had one yet because coffee but I'll check back in when I do. Talked to a gal in line who swears by their matcha. The food is great also.
