Stopped by when I was visiting family for the holidays and am very glad I did! This place was just opening and training staff when my wife and I stopped by for the first time. Overall the staff were all extremely friendly and the coffee was GREAT. I tried a cappuccino, my wife got a latte and I later swung by and grabbed a nitro cold brew when I was driving down Crenshaw for something else. They were also nice enough to let me try their drip coffee when I asked about their beans- nice touch and it was great by the way (not some burnt flavor like you find elsewhere)! Overall their drinks had great taste and beats what I can find at the big chain coffee places. Also, very cool building inside with a nice bright ambiance. Now if only Offset wasn't so far from where I lived! At least I now have my go-to coffee place whenever I am in town. Definitely swing if you are in the area. read more

The iced horchata latte isn't too heavy. The light, cinnamon flavor is refreshing on any day. The spices are not over powering. The iced lavender latte has a good, perceivable floral flavor that is also very refreshing. Good customer service! I've never been so compelled to write a review so quickly after having tried an establishment for the first time. I am so impressed. Not only do they have great measures in place for covid safety, but they have exceptional customer service. The gentleman that helped me out was so patient and answered all my questions. He gave great suggestions as well. I saw an Instagram ad for their new tiki cold brew which is what led me to check this coffee place out in the first place. It is a delicious cold brew with coconut syrup and cream and pineapple juice. Very refreshing and great for the season. If you are like me, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to my coffee. Black or nada. But I was feeling depressed about the pandemic and decided to treat myself and try something new. Very glad I did. Also, tried their yogurt parfait. It is more like a dessert. Very decadent. Honey, granola, compote. It is beyond delicious. Bought a growler of cold brew to take home. Such a good idea! And how cute.... a growler of cold brew! I stopped by here early on a Sunday morning the other week because I was craving a matcha latte really bad. This coffee shop is very small and cute on the inside. There was a couple people sitting around enjoying their drinks, so I had pretty high hopes. The girl who took my order was so friendly and helpful since it was my first time here. Apparently the matcha latte doesn't come with any sugar, so she told me that I could add it on the side at their little sugar station (very cute!!) The barista who made my drink asked me if I'd like the sugar added in while he made it for me, which I thought was really nice of them. The drink came out beautifully with the matcha art. However when it came to the taste, it was really not good. I am a huge matcha addict and I love a strong flavor of matcha in my drinks. This matcha latte tastes like milk with a hint of green tea in it. I wanted to add in more sugar but I already left by that time. It's just fine it's a fairly small place and gets really busy almost disappointingly so. It's a pretty cute interior but I have to say the drinks were not that good. I got something they say is inspired by Phil'z. Yes that one. It was a very milky latte almost curdled with an accent of mint. I really didn't enjoy it especially because it came in like 12 or 10 oz cup. Got to give this one a hard pass. The location is very difficult to get out of during traffic. There is hardly any parking, in fact I parked at the fried chicken place next door which luckily has no problem with that. read more

Eh... It was okay. For some reason, I am often not that impressed with these coffee shops that people rave about because the coffee is supposed to be "legit," they offer various "milk" choices, they provide interesting selections, or they put art in the coffee, etc. And maybe it's not fair, but I usually judge a coffee shop based on one drink, which is iced mocha, and if I don't like how they make that particular drink, I probably won't come back. Here, I ordered iced coconut mocha for some reason, but after I ordered it, I was like, Do I like coconut? Since that may have factored into why I had an unfavorable opinion of the drink, I'm willing to try this place again and update my review later if needed. But overall, I was not impressed. The mix of coconut and mocha flavors was not the best, and the coconut flavor was overwhelming. I did feel like they are doing a good job keeping things sanitary and safe for their customers. It was more crowded than some other coffee shops I have visited during lockdown, but I still felt safe. read more

Made my first visit, of what's sure to be many in the future, to Offset Coffee today and WOW. I got the peppermint mocha latte with oat milk and it was dynamite. The peppermint tasted like a true candy cane - not like the typical peppermint syrups you get at chain coffee shops. You can tell they take great pride in the quality of their product. In addition to great quality, the service was exceptional. I mistakenly had ordered two lattes online, when I had only intended to purchase one. Everything here is good, like really good!! Skip the other coffee places and go to Offset for the most delicious (sometimes unique) fresh pastries. The hot chocolate and dirty horchata are truly amazing. When it comes to drinks - I tend to get two here - a hot one and a cold tea for later. I love their iced vanilla lattes with either macadamia milk or oat milk and their ABJ and avocado toasts! The parking lot is a little smaller but I've rarely had a visit where I couldn't find parking. Also- the lattes to go have become so clutch to keep in my fridge. I was surprised to see some interesting flavors like - lavender latte, rose latte, etc. I tried the lavender latte and fell in love! So fresh and light! The workers are great too! I love coffee - straight up (well espresso to be exact) and I go to a lot of cafes all around la. Usually on the weekends my options are limited as I live in the South Bay / Harbor Area. Over the years a couple cafes popped up here and there had cool coffee but I was never really won over. Idk what it was but when I went to offset the vibe was very chill and the baristas were very nice . When I perused the menu I saw that they had rose / lavender as a flavor and was like "okay sold." I often don't like being a regular for whatever reason but I don't mind it here. Over time it has slowly become my favorite coffee shop in the area that I'll go to whenever I can go into work late , on the weekends when I catch up with friends or when my siblings are in town. I would HIGHLY recommend Off Set coffee! Support your local small businesses instead of popping into Starbucks! We ordered the lavender latte and rose latte. Both were delicious and not too sweet. We bought some coffee beans as a Christmas gift for a friend and they grinded it for us. They really loved how smooth the coffee was and I will definitely be back to pick up a bag for myself. We got the white chocolate cranberry cookie and holy moly, I really hope that it isn't just a holiday edition. It was very similar to the coffee at Corridor Flow (just a few minutes away). Really enjoyed my coffee and muffin! I had a lavender oatmilk latte. I really appreciate that the coffee is well balanced in that you can still taste the coffee and not just milk and sugar.
