After finally admitting defeat in what felt like a never-ending battle with my 2 Brother printers, I called a few numbers to see if there was a chance I could get them serviced, rather than just buying new ones at $600 a piece. OMS was the perfect fit. Cheryl answered the phone and after confirming they could service my specific models, she said they could send a technician to my home and told me the hourly rate and also that they didn't have a 2-hr service minimum or anything like that (which other places I called did have). I'm a mobile notary so even though these printers are for my business, it's not like I have an office with enough printer problems for two hours of work. I do print around 1,000 pages/day, so they're definitely work horses and I need them running at their best or I can't get work. After the short call, I had an appointment scheduled, and a couple days later, right at 10 a.m. (for an appt window between 10 & noon), I received a call from their technician and Co-owner, David, who was already on his way). I really appreciated his timeliness and communication and all the work he put in to diagnose/repair one printer, and laying the other to rest. David was friendly and worked diligently for the entire hour-plus time that he was here. he also went over a few different printer options for when I'm ready to purchase a new one and let me know what they sell and service through their company, so I look forward to working with them again in the future! read more

Had a problem with an older hp printer - it was back up and running in no time at all!!

Dave is professional, friendly and knows his machines! He came and trouble shot an error code I had on my HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fnw. He knew exactly what the problem was (the transfer belt), tried a software update to fix the issue before recommending a replacement of the transfer belt (not cheap, but I still had ink in the machine and replacement ink cartridges to replace). So I opted to repair vs purchase a new printer when the software update didn't solve the problem. Dave offered a transfer belt from another like machine, however since it had more use (had printed more pages than my current machine), I just opted to replace it. Dave ordered the part, came back less than a week later, installed it and now it works great! I will definitely use him again the next time I have any printer issues!! read more

If we could give more stars we would. Our Xerox machine shut down on us without warning due to a Waste Box being full. I won't bore you with the details but after calling many places for the part it was looking pretty grim. Even the contracted repair service we pay for couldn't help. I had called OMS first and they could not have been nicer. They did not have the part but offered, if they could, to come over and see what they could do. They called us back after I had just finished calling everyone in our area and beyond with no luck. Dave came to our office, the nicest guy in the world, cleaned out the Waste Box and even reset a feature on our copier that had been driving us crazy. Seriously, our copier is working so much better now, and he only charged us $45.00! If we were not tied to the company we have now, we would change to OMS in a minute. I had Dave over to set our printer/copier/scanner over our job site. He did not leave until he made sure we had all our computers able to print scan and copy. We had some power issues since our temp power is not installed and we had to troubleshoot at our end taking upwards of 2 hours to make the installation because of power issues. He was patience courteous and took the time to show us how to add new users and install the printer drive to new users in their computer so they can print remotely and locally. I'd never heard of OMS and contacted them based on the Yelp reviews I read. I had an old Panasonic home fax/answering machine from 1998 that died after a brief power outage; no display or anything. I only wanted to bring it back to life to retrieve some VERY important saved messages from my deceased father that I hadn't backed up anywhere and then dispose of it. I stopped by without calling late in the day and caught Dave there. I knew this was probably a lost cause and not a piece of equipment he would normally work on or be interested in looking at. I couldn't have been more wrong!! He dropped what he was doing and spent over an hour with it; opening it up, checking fuses and for power across terminals on various boards, solder connections, pins, plugs, etc. He also spent time checking the internet for the possibility of getting a new/used power supply, the suspected problem, but with no luck. During all of this he seemed to enjoy the challenge and his attitude was great! Not having any luck as it sat there with no display when he put it all back together and plugged it in, I offered to pay for his time but he declined and I insisted. We spoke for awhile longer and I thanked him again for his time. When I went to unplug it and take it back home, it somehow had managed to come to life there at his shop and had a display! I quickly got out my phone and made a voice memo recording of my Dad's messages!! It made my day, month, year? I thought they were gone for good. I've never posted on Yelp and I would give Dave 6 stars if I could, great effort and attitude, especially for a walk in customer. I would highly recommend Dave and OMS!! read more

The OMS team is awesome! Dave, who usually comes out to do work for us is always willing to fit us in, no matter how busy his day has been. As a full service print shop, when one of our machines is down, it sets production behind, but Dave helps that delay to be minimal. Usually, he can quickly identify the problem and get it fixed just as quickly. We are always back into production within a day.
