If you like high-end kitchenware, you have got to check the store out…read more It was quite the learning experience for me, I had no idea Zwillings owned so many high-end companies Zwilling Henckels Miyabi BSF Demeyere Staub Fontignac Ballarini I came away very impressed. That is a hard hitting lineup. The sales were very exciting. First there was a storewide 20% off sale. And then some of the individual pieces had some pretty impressive reductions. However, remember this is an outlet store. I found some of the most heavily discounted equipment had cosmetic flaws. On the other hand, I went to the Le Creuset store two decades ago and got myself a Dutch oven which had a cosmetic flaw, and that thing has been working great the whole time. But before you go to town, check to see if the warranty is in effect. It's kind of pity that my kitchen is so well stocked with equipment. Between the discounts and the excellent selection, I would been in deep trouble with this store several decades ago. While it's easy to focus on the knives and the cookware there is a lot more to the store. They carry an incredible number of small kitchen accessories that can solve common problems. The expert and friendly sales person showed me a really nice magnetic bar, which can be used to mount knives in otherwise wasted spaces in the kitchen. Unfortunately, for the sales person, I already had one of these. But I can definitely testify that this is an incredibly useful device. Some people complain that magnetic bars ruin your knives. But you have to know the trick to using them. Basically you have to kind of peel the knife off the magnetic bar and this prevents scratching and other minor damage. Also, if your knives are looking scratched, there is a whetstone with an incredibly fine grit that will put a mirror polish on your knives. Scratches are not the disaster you think they are. So stop feeling bad about all your kitchen problems and go to this store which has more solutions than you realize. Remember to bring your knives if you need them sharpened.

Who doesn't love a good factory outlet?!…read more The factory outlet stores in Vacaville is the shopping center that is one of if not the largest between Sacramento and San Francisco. It absolutely is filled with many of the better upscale shopping choices, as well as, many of the stores that you'll see at some of the smaller outlets. I decided to pop into Zwilling to check out their weekend sale. If you have a Dutch oven obsession, this is absolutely your place to shop. Yes, it's pricey, but it's all about quality right?! The store is relatively small, and they seem to have a smattering of everything that the company carries or at least most things. If it wasn't for the fact that I had other places to go and things to do, I could've spent so much more time here. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. They don't hover, but definitely make themselves available for questions and help. And if they don't have an answer, they will immediately ask more senior employee to help them out. The store is neat and tidy, and if you love cooking on any level, this absolutely is a store that you should explore! From the Dutch ovens, to the knives, if you're looking for quality and perhaps even a deal, you will get both here!

They aren't designed for making baby food, almond butter from almonds or grinding frozen meat into paste for making cha lua or hotdogs. Can smell the burning electric motor smell from home appliances. This smell is toxic and emits cancer causing chemicals. The commercial appliances here don't have that problem. Costs more but you have equipment which fits the task. 2) The home pizza ovens which are popular require peels to get the pizze in and out of the 800 degree oven. They sell both metal and wood versions. The pizza stones for home ovens are much cheaper here than Amazon because it costs more to ship heavy items and AMZN adjusts the price to reflect that even though shipping is "free". Prices better than online and you can see the quality of the product. They have both 16 and 12 inch sizes for peels, etc.. The newer lower cost electric/gas home pizza ovens are 12. They have bread baking pans and detroit pizza pans in stock! No need to go online to get them. The long handles for pizza peels make them unattractive for shipping. If they are shipped then price is 2x of what you see here. 3) Cutting boards, they have the fancy John Boos wood cutting board considered by many to be the best made to cheaper and lighter bamboo boards and poly ones. All come in larger sizes. Not the smaller sizes sold in costco. Much better variety here. Same comment as above for pizza stones. Cheaper than online because heavy items are expensive to ship. Will never get a sub $50 price for a large cutting board online but you can here. 4) Kitchen utensils, heat proof spatulas, long handled stainless steel soup spoons, slotted spoons; stainless steel serving tongs, thermometers, everthing 1/3 - 1/4 the cost of williams sonoma with more useful design like longer handles for deep stock pots. WS doesn't sell long handled spoons. spatulas, because most home cooks have cheaper small pots and skillets. 5) steamers, they have larger sized bamboo and stainless steel steamers for making dimsum. The Asian markets have a limited selection of steamers and WS or costco will never sell steamers. Designed for Asian cuisine. Steaming much healthier then other forms of cooking. 6) Glassware, they have the larger Picardie, 16oz+ in stock! They don't break. Most RS stores only sell cheaper imitations but they are the same price and the Picardie glasses here and lousy quality. 7) Plastic serverware; they sell larger dimension plastic serving platters; good for parties or home use. The larger ones made of porcelain are too heavy and difficult to store. They only go up to a certain size because of cost. Recently most serverware is more than 100-300 each because of inflation. They see reduced sales because of the increased prices and most places are transitioning to not carrying these higher cost items.

I purchased a pan by Calphalon and the pan came with "5 Year Warranty (I actually purchased a griddle as well that also is defective and just took it as a loss but when it happened a second time within the same timeframe I felt the need to ask the the Meyers Corporation to stand behind their documented warranty) but after 4 months of waiting for a reply on replacing my pan I was first informed that the photos I submitted were not good, so I sent updated photos now the next excuse is that I did not purchase the item directly from Meyers so they will not stand behind their guarantee. I will be informing the store that I made the purchase at that they may want to consider the product they are selling on behalf of Meyers Corporation due to false advertising on the label that clearly states 5 Year Warranty and Not to Return to the Store so that is contradicting I will not purchase any Faberware, Calphalon, Circulon, Anolon, Cookware, Paula Deen, Rachael Ray, Ayesha Curry, Bonjour, Ruffoni, and Silverstone, which will limit my choices but I need products that will last more than 6 months and a company that will stand by their product. This is not a rant it is merely information for anyone looking to make a purchase to truly think about and ask when making the purchase. I saved my receipt and sent with the photos of the item twice as was asked to and I am trying to save frustration with a faulty product and no refund or replacement instead I was offered 25% off a purchase. I am taking a loss on the two purchases and I am being asked to purchase more items that are not good. I was unable to see any value in the few months I used the product

To be honest, Le Creuset doesn't really have a lot of whole new exciting products. On the other…read morehand their classic lineup is exciting. So I headed in to take a look at all the pieces I didn't have. 25 years ago, I would've crumbled and purchased everything. Now I've grown up a lot and learned how to use straight up cast-iron. since I can make my own nonstick coating, Le Creuset suddenly looks expensive and kind of over the top. The one great thing about that enamel cast-iron, it resistant to acidic foods which means you can cook just about anything you want in the Le Creuset without switching to stainless steel or any other material. Since Le Creuset shouldn't be heated past medium, you still have to switch to stainless steel if you want high heat. Nevertheless, if you're making a stew, a Dutch oven from this company rules. So I took a close look at the Dutch ovens. They have quite the lineup. There were the adorable little ones which look cute but cook hardly any food. there were the more medium size ones, but since I already have one, I don't need the one that's one size down or one size up. Which leads to the 8 to 9 quart Dutch oven. Honestly as a single person 8 to 9 quarts is pretty impractical. Also, where would I store it. Nevertheless, I drooled. I was quite amused to see the big signs announcing the fresh new colors. They just don't have very many marketing gimmicks that they can apply to classic cookware. The one really nice thing about the store is the full lineup of cookware that this company makes. There aren't a lot of places that have anywhere near the stock that this store has. It's a great place to check out some of the harder to find items. Just make sure to ask about cosmetic defects. I purchased my pot from an outlet store 20 years ago. The staff person was very meticulous and showed me the exact cosmetic defect in the pot I purchased. She also warned me that the outlet products were not covered by the usual warranty. I purchased the pot and the cosmetic defect was indeed cosmetic. The pot cooked great. Luckily I've never needed the warranty. So make sure you ask.

They have a much larger selection than the Gilroy outlet and were slightly more organized than the Pleasanton location with a bit more variety as well. If you're looking for pink items, like the Pleasanton location they carry the Satin pink pans, as well as pieces in the olive branch collection. Of the three, if you're looking to purchase Le Creuset, I would go from the North down, Vacaville, Pleasanton, then Gilroy if you really want to make the drive to the third, although between the first two in my opinion you could easily skip it. The service was friendly and helpful and I was able to pick up some pastel pinch bowls and a couple tasting cups in Provence - so all in all it was a great trip and I would absolutely return!

There was no consistency in arrangements with many brands spread out over half the store. Many items matched what was currently in store, so my close guess would be that they carry seconds or minimally damaged/returned items. The few Le Creuset they did have were mainly in dirt brown and cerise, items that could be found online for the same price or lower. The service wasn't helpful or friendly and the store felt more like a Goodwill than the higher quality I was used to with Williams Sonoma. The final straw came when our items were rang up as the final sale price wasn't clear on the screen and didn't match the percentage listed on the shelf. Overall, there was nothing positive about this store so we never plan to return.

I bought them to add to a gift bag that I am giving to each work colleagues. I got home and tasted one bar; It was pretty dark chocolate. I began peeling off the price tags and adding the bars to the gift bags. Then, I looked closer at what had been covered up by the new price tag: "Best By: August 2025." I can't GIFT four-month expired chocolates!!?? I took the chocolate bars back out of the bags... Now I would normally take expired goods back to the seller for a return or exchange. But this location DOES NOT accept returns.
