OMS was the perfect fit. Cheryl answered the phone and after confirming they could service my specific models, she said they could send a technician to my home and told me the hourly rate and also that they didn't have a 2-hr service minimum or anything like that (which other places I called did have). I'm a mobile notary so even though these printers are for my business, it's not like I have an office with enough printer problems for two hours of work. I do print around 1,000 pages/day, so they're definitely work horses and I need them running at their best or I can't get work. After the short call, I had an appointment scheduled, and a couple days later, right at 10 a.m. (for an appt window between 10 & noon), I received a call from their technician and Co-owner, David, who was already on his way). I really appreciated his timeliness and communication and all the work he put in to diagnose/repair one printer, and laying the other to rest. David was friendly and worked diligently for the entire hour-plus time that he was here. he also went over a few different printer options for when I'm ready to purchase a new one and let me know what they sell and service through their company, so I look forward to working with them again in the future!

I did the design myself on my phone. They got them done quickly and notified me right away. When I picked them up, I noticed that the printing was offset. There were two employees at the counter, one looked like a manager. I told them what happened, they jumped on it right away and was so friendly about it. It wasn't their fault, more of a computer printer error. Needless to say, they helped me re-upload my images, they insured the quality themselves on their computer, and showed me a sample before printing. They came out beautifully. I left with the new cards and nothing was a hassle. These ladies were the best!! They were so helpful and they maintained a very helpful and positive attitude. After leaving, I looked at the coupon again and noticed that it clearly states, "Present coupon to cashier." I returned to the store, showed her the coupon, requested a return, and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the return process itself took quite a while, and by that point I was frustrated and just wanted to leave. As a former OfficeMax team leader, I'm familiar with the register system. If a coupon doesn't scan automatically, the system allows the cashier to manually enter the coupon code when appropriate. We were also trained to prioritize customer service and honor valid promotions whenever possible. What disappointed me most wasn't just the coupon--it was the lack of effort to help resolve the situation. I made a trip to the store specifically because of the promotion, spent my time shopping, and left feeling like my concerns didn't matter. A little initiative and willingness to assist would have made a significant difference in my experience.
