Horrible!!!.. customer relations skills nonexistent from the young black male manager. He had more authority energy when trying to work out a small issue, than he did I'm here to help energy. Had the nerve to say the words "ITS NOT GOING TO CHANGE" w authority when I was trying to find a way where I can get printed what I wanted printed WITHOUT providing all my personal info including my home address just to get done what I waited 20 minutes in line to get printed. Since I was not willing to provide all of this personal information just to get something copied, he refused me service unless I submit to the personal information in full demand. No basic effective communication skills let alone a "higher up" skills. This location also seems HALF STOCKED, going out of business vibe! read more

Lucky me. I have been looking for this printer for my small business and it's been over two months where it's never in stock on sale or it is in stock and not on sale. Long story short, I went to the other side of town to get this item and I'm so glad that it was there. The staff was very friendly and very educational on their return policy which I wanted to know. I called ahead and emailed my items I needed printed. When I walked up, there was one lady on a phone and another guy who is very slowly apparently choosing things he wanted to print. Apparently we do not have to be ready, they will just let you hold up the line for forever. Good luck printing the things you have already sent to them. read more

Walked inside and waited at the printing counter. There was a woman who was working on someone else's order. She looked back at me, and continued doing what she was doing. I wasn't acknowledged at all. My wife literally had to go and track someone down to get help. And the guy's response was, "oh I don't work in printing." No one was wearing name tags, so I can't even properly complain. But the two people working there on March 9, 2020 at 6:30pm should really be let go from the company or at least trained in customer service. read more

Everything is either broken or unnecessarily complicated to use. There used to be a computer self-printing station here, and they were constantly malfunctioning and causing problems. That went on for a while, until they scrapped them entirely (I guess they literally gave up) and replaced them with an even MORE confusing system. The problem with this is: now you don't even have the option of helping yourself. You need to wait in the painfully slow line. It doesn't matter if there's only 1 person ahead of you, you can expect to wait 10 minutes in an essentially empty store just to print a black and white page. They always have like 5 employees around, and yet no matter what they refuse to have more than 1 person staff the printing desk. Often I'll see like 3 people gathered around one of the cash registers, and then a line of people waiting to be helped. This place is such a headache, I really need a printer. read more

This was the third and final time I will ever go to this Office Depot. I have tried to give them benefit of the doubt... but EVERY TIME there is something different that happens related to customer service that just disgusts me. The first time was a complete and total lack of support and quality with the shipping and printing, the second time I asked for help finding something and was told I should "just google it" and "find it in their website to see if they carried that size label." This time, the lady in front of me was speaking Spanish and when she asked for help (in English) the employee at the register looked at her with a flat face and stated "I don't speak Spanish." About 3 months ago, I returned an item but didn't have receipt. No problem, store credit in the form of an OD gift card was issued. I attempted to use gift card for other items during same trip and there was a $0 on card. Reminded clerk that he just gave me card about 15 minutes prior so if no funds on card - he failed to apply. He called manager who told me that they have no authority to resolve, I would need to phone # on back of card. I called them and they informed me that they are a 3rd party firm and all they do is provide cards to OD; can't assist in balance issues. I just chalked it up as a loss. Today, purchased 2 items online for pickup. I received email that 1 item was not available. Looked online and they had it at another store. I made a new online order for that location and picked up item. Went to original store and picked up the item they did have in stock. Told clerk about out of stock item I purchased at other location and she scanned my ticket and sent me on my way. When I got to my car, I checked my bank and I was charged for both items. Went back in the store and told clerk that total charge, including item I did not receive was charged. She informed me that I should not have made another order - I should have allowed them to tell me what to do next. States that credit cannot be made unless I provide them with a return product! What?!? Office Depot charges for item I did not take possession of and this clerk is telling me that in order to receive credit, I need to give them the item that I paid for "again" at another store. So to be clear - I am supposed to be ok with paying $130, receive $100 credit at 1 store; paying another $100 at another store and all I go home with is a $30 item! No doubt that this is my last trip to this store. I am not a fan of Staples but Mueller location will now get my business. read more

I went to this store today and it was a very disappointing experience. The person working at the counter where you could have something laminated was rude, dismissive and clearly did not want to be there. Customer service was not something he was familiar with or cared about. He treated every customer that came his way the same disrespectful and like we were just lucky that he was there. Office Depot, Max, Whatever.... These places are all pretty much the same. Kinda like "Bed Bath and Things", but with Office supplies and crap. You usually can't find what you want or need. For example, I wanted to get some 6x9 kraft paper envelopes with no-clasp. Not to be found at the Depot. Clasp Only here. Grrr... I only went to this location because Xpedx (where I usually get envelopes) was closed on Saturday afternoon. Meh. read more

The service is just plain awful they are so slow at everything they do especially the general manager Mabel. She knew I was standing there waiting to print my paper but yet she kept on doing everything else but attending me. I was waiting in line for 10 minutes till someone realized there was a customer. Im currently trying to print and only come here because it is 4 mins from my job and only when the printer at work isnt working. This place either needs to have more computers and printers that take usbs and usb ports that work or hire more efficient people. Just need simple bw prints from 3 files and have been waiting close to one hr bc the self service usb port doesnt work and the workers are running around like crazy behind on their orders from early afternoon. Me and my boyfriend didn't get greeted when we walked in. And they had just opened. No one asked if we needed help finding anything. We had to split up to look for what we needed. That's very inconvenient for me because we were kinda in a hurry. The girl who checked us out, well her fake nails were so long she was having trouble getting the money out the register. And she got frustrated that she didn't even count our change from a $100.00 bill back to us to make sure it was correct. So all in all I did not like the service there. read more

Office Depot is a time drain and migraine starter. Printing quality is never good. I print regularly for work and come here almost twice a week. There used to be this one guy who could shoot out my print jobs like he was employed to do so but since he left I find my self leaning over the counter and doing the set up for them while they watch. PRINTING SERVICES I'm sad Mr LiLi L. below had such a bad experience -- since I discovered Office Depot's phenomenal prices, I've used their printing services probably 4 times, including a set of double-sided bridal shower stationary. But -- if you've read my previous reviews (it's been a while, I know), you know service is a huge deal to me. (Read Iron Cactus and Fiesta and QuikPrint on Congress if you want some unhappiness.) SO -- here's a copy of the email I sent to the store manager of this Office Depot, because seriously, this is like good old-fashioned customer service. Getting stuff done? Patience? ACTIVELY LISTENING? Checkity check check check. A.mazing. And seriously, check out the prices for printing -- much cheaper than FedEx Kinkos, and way the hell better than QuikPrint (well, I am uber-biased given my crap estimate -- I need to let that go, I know, a-hem)... I've only placed orders through their online system (love that); my last order actually was on different paper than I had actually ordered, and when I discovered the mistake (after driving away), they were ready to replace my order -- except I found their mistake better than my selections. Shoot, sometimes online ordering is not the way to go. Anyway -- this is regarding an order I placed -- a b&w poster at 18x24 and a color poster at 24x36: "Good morning, I wanted to write in to praise the excellent customer service from Anastio (sorry I'm not sure how to spell that) from store # 368 on Tirado. Late last night I placed 2 poster orders for mock-ups to present to a client for a meeting I have early Saturday morning, thinking that the quick turnaround I'm accustomed to in this store would be no problem. Early this morning, Anastio called and left a detailed message about errors with my uploads that would result in errors in the printing, and left 2 methods of contact. Given my tight deadline and my lack of access to these files (different computer that I could not access until after store hours), I called back Anastio, and he was incredibly patient (especially when I asked him a few times to try to rephrase it another way) in describing the errors he faced in attempting to complete my print request due to the formatting of my files. Then I described my predicament, and he took the steps to work with me so I can meet my deadline -- as in, we agreed I would have to create an alternative order, then he placed me on hold, took care of calling the print center in Dallas, and took care of everything. And I am set to be prepared for my meeting tomorrow with the alternative order! That kind of active listening is so rare these days, and really makes a customer eager to return and recommend this business (I will be re-posting this email in a yelp review)!. This location has the worst customer service. I went a week ago to have labels printed and the rep couldn't figure out how to set it up. She called for help and still not complete my request. I left because I was about to be late for my client. Today I returned to do my labels again. Same female behind the print/fax counter alone. She was helping someone else or trying to for that matter. Ten mins later she saw me standing there and asked what I needed. I replied, "Labels." She again called someone else. One of the mangers came over and told me that I couldn't have them printed right then. Whatever so she wrote it up and told her to charge me. So again I wait. Then she gets done with the other customer and skips me... So the manager that was still there rang me up. This trip took over 30 mins in store and 2 of the other customers that were waiting for more stuff they couldn't figure out were still there when I left. Mind you, this whole time there were two employees at one register WITH NO ONE IN LINE for at least 15 mins. Let my labels be wrong after they wrote what was supposed to be on them straight from my business card... Plus they still have the card attached to the paperwork. read more
