Not friendly or helpful. I went to a different office depot yesterday to have a passport photo cropped and printed, but there was an issue so I had to come back to get it redone. Since it was a different store, I was more than happy to pay a second time. But the lady at the counter insisted that she did not have the software to print it to passport requirements. Again, thats fine (although annoying), if you don't know how then you don't know how. My issue was with her attitude. I am coming in as a very patient customer who has already paid $20 once to have this service provided, and willing to pay again. And this lady is acting like I ruined her day by even asking. My time was wasted, and my already not great day was made a little worse by this associate. read more

This location sits on Anderson Lane next to the Village, and at the location of the former post office that was here for decades. Along with every imaginable ink cartridge for your printer ($$$) they also offer shipping, computer repair and printing services. They also sell some oddball items such as toilet paper, waffle irons and toiletries (probably for your office at work). If you don't to read all this....LONG story short...the people that work there that I dealt with didn't care. I'd previously had a three to four star experience when dealing with individuals here, but geez, not this time. I placed an order that needed a quick turn around. I assumed that giving them 36 hours would be reasonable since LITERALLY I've had zero problems with them cranking out jobs in 24 hours before. Well...I called the main line, awaited the redirection to print shop. A gentleman picked up the phone and I asked if my order was ready...I gave him my name and he said "I'm going to need my manager to check on that". I wait on hold for 14 minutes and threw in the towel. I called back and someone answered at the print shop. I said "Hi, I was previously waiting on hold for 14 minutes for the print shop manager, as I was told he would have to help me, would that be you?" "no, but I don't know anything about that"...I said "are you the manager of the print shop". He said "No, but I'm knowledgable". I said "ok, then can you please check on an order for me?" He said "yes, what's your name?"...I literally repeated my name three times...it's not hard, it's common....Then I said do you need the order number and he replied yes...I start the number four times....he seems distracted and asks me to repeat it...I finally start saying it incredibly slow and he gets it. I asked what time he expected the job to be done...fully expecting any moment...."uhhmmmmm, I'm hoping tonight, but we're really been busy today"...Mind you, I was guaranteed 6:30 PM when I made the order. I told him that and his response was "well, I'll do what I can". I said "I need to leave tonight with that, what time do you think it will be done?"....his response "yeah, I really can't guarantee that time". Folks, it's literally like if this isn't done...my job is DONE. Thanks Office Depot for your super customer service and knowledgable folks....INSERT SARCASM HERE. My friend was there two years ago and had his picture frame smashed for absolutely no reason. He played a joke on the cashier taking a picture of him and printing it out and putting it as the sale picture in a picture frame. And the guy thought it was hilarious. But the other manager, Kayleigh Is a freaking psychopath and broke his picture frame, was going to break his friends camera. I don't care how mad you are, and I understand the limits of cameras in public places, but this is just outright ridiculous. She threw it on the ground, meanwhile there is glass all over the ground. The print shop here has been a lifesaver during these COVID times. I have had many packets printed here for school over the past few months. They have filled my online orders quickly and usually without a problem. On the occasions when a printing error was made, they fixed it quickly and to my satisfaction. I have to give 5 stars to this store. I order online print jobs, and pick them up here, often. Angela, in the print center, is awesome! I re-ordered a manual, which I had ordered before and changed via phone call. Of course, the online order history did not reflect that. When I re-ordered, Angela took the time to call me and ask if I wanted to add the cover and backing, as I had in the previous order. I DID and her call was so helpful! This is the second time I have had a really, really good experience with this particular print center. Truly grateful for their service. read more

This place is understaffed! There were no employees to be found when I was walking around in circles trying to find a storage box that my wife said she had spotted just a few days before so I ended up having to walk around the entire half of the store for at least 10 minutes before I finally found it. Then I got to the checkout line and there were four people waiting in line and only one register was open with an older woman working all alone! I don't know about the prices and I don't care about how up-to-date their stuff might be if they are going to be understaffed and not able to fulfill needs of the customer as they are exploring the store for their items! read more

This location is impossible to get into. You cannot get to the parking lot if you are driving east on Anderson lane. You have to (1)pass the store, (2)make a left at the light into the parking lot of another strip mall, (3)make a u-turn in the parking lot, (4)pull back out into traffic going west and (5)then turn right into the parking lot. This also means that you can't make a left out of the lot once you're ready to leave. So, once again, if you are eastbound traffic you are just fucked. It's another u-turn up the road for you. The parking lot for this office depot is also not connected to the parking lots on either side so don't think you're going to turn early/late and cut over into office depot's lot cause it ain't gonna happen. Once you get in the lot, there is no parking for regular schmoes. There are 5+ spots reserved closest to the entrance for hybrid cars. There are 2+ handicap spots reserved nearby but, notice, the hybrid spots are closer to the entrance than the handicap spots. Apparently driving a green vehicle while being able-bodied earns you a premium spot here. Once you get inside the store it is as difficult to navigate on the inside as it is on the outside. While displays are usually set up to subtly direct traffic to and from the aisles and registers, this place has built a rat maze out of cardboard displays. It took me forever to figure out how to get to the register since I kept following what I thought was the correct route only to wind up at a dead end and have to turn back and start again. I did end up leaving with the sharpies that I came for but I was left wondering if jumping through all the hoops had made my $2.35 purchase really worth it. I'm leaning towards "no". read more

This place is a necessary evil in my life... it's a mile from home, has the basics, but I think I need to find a new office supply store. By no fault of the over-worked, under-paid Office Depot employees, they are ALWAYS under-staffed. Today I spent a record 20 minutes in line to check out with only four people ahead of me. It is incredibly inefficient and I'm sure a very difficult place to work, but the management should know that the people walking around asking you if you "need any help" while you clearly do not should be manning the cash registers or taking breaks or learning how to operate the cash register... all things that would contribute to the overall happiness and helpfulness of the OD staff. I really like this store. And, I've spent quite a bit of money here. So, I'm a Platinum club member. Today my husband wanted another pair of olive khakis, same size. I called and the gentleman who answered excused himself to check and see if they had the specific size in store. They had them, the length was longer though. He immediately said the tailor could cut them. He didn't know I was a platinum club at this time, which I believe gets free hemming. I normally wouldn't review an office supply chain store, but the one-star review seems a little unfair. I can't see giving an office supply store one star just because of a run-in with one cashier. If I showed up to find they sold nothing but turnips and hula hoops and then gave me attitude about it, then yes! One star! As it stands, this place is exactly what you would expect. You have a better chance of walking your package to Alaska, putting it on the back of a polar bear and hoping it gets there than shipping anything from this Office Depot location. The first time I had an issue I thought it was a random occurrence, but the second through millionth time have led me to believe that the people at the Shipping and Copy Center at this location receive no training whatsoever. Today, during my official last trip to ship anything from here, I attempted to drop off a USPS package with a prepaid label. Yes, I said prepaid . . . meaning, I needed absolutely nothing but a proof of receipt that I dropped it off. The line was backed out the door with people trying to shred documents (which apparently is also something they can't manage) and make purchases because, yes, they also always have the registers closed . . . or at a maximum, have just one register open . . . so they run all the checkouts through the copy center too. After standing in line behind a handful of people requiring services and getting none, somebody took my package and after a lengthy conversation with a coworker over how one provides a receipt of acceptance, they proceed to peck around on a keyboard for 10 minutes before determining that the package is USPS instead of UPS. What? Really?!? Then they tell me they can't give me a receipt for USPS packages . . . they can just accept them. But wait! Then they have a great idea. They can take a picture of the tracking number with their iphone and send it to me! Um . . . I don't need the tracking number . . . I already copied the label. I need receipt that they have my package. I finally gave up and took my package home with me but not before tying to check out with one small box of envelopes. Guess what? Now I needed to get back in line and start the process all over again just to check out. Sadly, not a single person that was in the long line from the time that I walked in until the time that I left had actually been helped so I tossed the envelopes back on the shelf and headed out. It's called the Copy and Shipping Center so one would assume that copies can be made there and packages can be shipped but alas, this just isn't so. read more

Sent in an order for a poster; a single poster, laminated, and mounted on foam board. Got an email and text that my order was ready for pick up. I show up and the poster isn't properly trimmed and is not laminated. The dude at the counter says it'll be a couple of minutes before the lamination machine is ready to laminate. Mind you, they come back and check the order form to confirm it needed lamination; this should be done before you even start to prep the order, but I'm not managing this place. Rather than re-printing, re-mounting, and then laminating the poster, they just run the first mounted poster through the laminator. After 45 minutes they bring it back to the counter, again un-trimmed, and I'm told the woman working on the order is inexperienced as if that is supposed to make up for the time I wasted waiting on a finished product; a finished product I did not receive. The kicker: I don't see the refund for three to five days from today, further delaying my ability to get the poster I need for an exhibition. Ridiculous. read more

Fellas, I would NOT recommend dealing with this particular location. They are never prompt with phone call answering or serving you. You call them, and are put on hold or forgotten for hours... When you come to the store, you can see sale associates who are not particularly interested in serving you. I have no idea how the management selects them.
