This store is almost never stocked in anything. I Always find myself having to go to the one in Round Rock or Great Hills.

I have been…read morelooking into picking up a new hobby or get into more craftin' to get in touch with my creative side. The class was $42 from 10:30a to noon. It is an open space with all sorts of art supplies, tools, and just about anything your imagination can muster up. Lots of inspiration. I was hoping to make more than just one small block and have different supplies like fabric for printing. It was very therapeutic to carve my small block. The class felt a little scattered - but it was a very easy going environment, super relaxed. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.

They had construction paper, ribbons, highlighters, stamps, hot glue guns, and anything you might find at Michael's. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and showed us how she made her lanterns. She walked us step-by-step through the process. Now, I'm not a crafty person, but I was inspired enough by the ambiance and overflow of art supplies to get some creative juices flowing. At the end, I was able to create my own lanterns with some creative twists. I had a fun time and will recommend my crafty friends to check this place out!

I found some things I wasn't looking for, but that I needed and wanted. I saw beautiful pieces I wanted just for myself, like separate or broken jewelry pieces--a clasp here for a necklace or a link for a watch. Also, I recently picked up an old knitting habit and wanted to replace some old yarn. It was nice to see an area dedicated to yarn, other crafts, and other hobbies. I can say I really got lost inside the store, discovering so much. I saw some frames to purchase to make a gallery wall. So, I will say this: if you need to revise a place or restock on some office supplies, please come here. Or if you just need some ideas on creating a space in your home, come here; it's a place where anyone can get a lot of ideas and inspiration.

This place made my artsy creative heart happy, but also made my need for things to not go to waste happy. Literally any craft project you can think of, they're going to have supplies for it and they're going to be dirt cheap! They also have greeting cards, They also have seasonal decor, jewelry, vintage items, stationary, frames, the list could go on forever. Good idea to just go check it out because I promise you will find something you've been looking for and didn't want to pay full price for!!

This year is was baked good for my Christmas party, one year it was homemade colored and flavored lip balms for my granddaughters, one year it was a garden stake gift for my best friend. This year my best friend found jewelry for herself. And most years I find something I want for myself too, but at Christmas time I try to be frugal so I rarely get myself anything. Parking can be difficult, but go early and you'll have better luck finding a spot.

Some folks I had already bought gifts for are gonna get tons cause I just could not pass up the cuteness and bought more. First, it's FREE to get in and it's huge with a variety of unique things to look at, alot of which is very affordable. I got handmade soaps for all the ladies and cute little bottlecap keychains for my newly driving nieces and a day of the dead necklace for my best girlfriend who misses Austin so much. I also got sugar scrub and a mermaid necklace for me! Some really creative stuff here....jewelry made from buttons and recycled tin cans, sweet little vintage material purses, super soft clothes made from organic material, and of course all the whimsical screen printed baby tees. Wish I had more babies to buy for! They also have a cafeteria that looked to be serving mostly tacos but I didn't partake. Parking and driving in the area can be a bear as it is insanely packed. It's so worth it though! I vowed I would try to buy all locally made gifts for everyone this year and I did. They may not be an XBOX 360, but they are unique and bought with every person's personality in mind. That makes it special!** **that being said, I hope my Abilene kin, who think I'm weird just for living in Austin, can appreciate it. It's better than the Wal-Mart sweater I will get from them for sure!**
