    Expect to wait on weekends.
    Ted C.

Don't come on weekends if you can. My first visit was on a Saturday and the parking situation was grim, it took longer than imagined. There was a line out the door to wait as well. The wait wasn't too bad, they definitely expected this and had a plan ready. The person at the door had a little spin wheel with questions and it definitely helped to pass the time. Still, it didn't seem entry made any sense, it's been years since my clubbing days but there definitely wasn't a one-in, one-out system. Once I went inside, limiting entry helped and despite the crowd it wasn't too difficult to navigate but hard to find a specific booth I was looking for. I've been back on weekdays and it's definitely quieter, much more conducive to browsing and even staff seemed much more at ease. I appreciated the handicrafts of some objects and bought a couple and is still approachable but still has that 'weird' vibe that Austin is known for.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to shop local. So many wonderful items made by local artisans from jewelry to clothing, art, housewares, and really anything you can think of. Spacious, super clean makes browsing enjoyable.

What an incredible turn out!! You all have to swing by and check this out. If there ever was a place that showed Austin unique identity it's inside of this building. Several rows all unmanned booths with product that ranges from beautiful smelling candles to unique handmade jewelry. All of it done by local artists who pour so much effort into their craft and it shows! One of my favorite was the handmade leather wallet. Albeit a little on the pricier side however the quality was impeccable and to have such a unique and handmade design is awesome! Come by and see exactly what makes Austin, so Austin!!

I'm absolutely obsessed with this place! The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a must-visit if you're in the area and looking for unique gifts or just want to browse amazing local art. There's such a great variety of items--everything from jewelry to art to pottery--and the best part is that there are options at all price points. So no matter your budget, you're going to find something that catches your eye. The layout was super easy to navigate, which was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes places like this can feel a little overwhelming, but I felt really comfortable browsing and taking my time. You can really tell how much care goes into the curation of the space. Also, shoutout to the cashier who was super friendly and nice--it's always great when you get good service to top off a great shopping experience. If you're in the area or need a special gift, do yourself a favor and stop by! You won't regret it.

This place is amazing! I've never been before, but I will come back next year for all of my holiday shopping. There are so many different styles of art available here, all made by local artisans. There is no entrance fee, and they provide shopping baskets. You browse around the building, and then check out at the front when you are done. There are employees through the space to answer questions and help you.

What an awesome market for seeing local arts and crafts goods! There is plenty of parking at and near the building. We walked in on a nice Sunday afternoon. If you grab a little handbrake, most items will fit. There are plenty of wonderful things all along the walls and aisles. It's very casual inside, with a snack vendor with neighboring brewery beers. We strolled around and found quite a few unique gifts, like local honey jars and Auatin gems on stickers. The place is pet friendly, very wheelchair accessible, and a very fun place to shop.

As a lover of farmers market, an art version market is right up my alley! There was so much representation from local artists - wood to jewelry to prints and so much more. There was so much to take in walking in. A huge variety. If you go at night it's a lot less busy. Parking is hard because it is so busy but there's a lot and street parking. The staff are super sweet and helpful.

Extremely cool! I've never been to an art market of this quality before while still being 100% local. You won't find any mass-produced junk here. All the vendors are local, often specifically Austin-based. It almost feels like every vendor was hand-picked because of how diverse the bazaar is. They have everything: cutting boards, leather goods, jewelry, wall art, handmade wood toys, clothes, tea, candles, glass ornaments, etc. I am certain you could find a gift for everyone you know here. The prices do vary dramatically because this place is a series of stalls and walls from so many different artists--like you could get earrings for $10 at one stall and $80 at another. But this place genuinely makes me want to come back with a bigger budget next time!

The place may sound weird, but honestly it's a great way to spend your time if you're in the mood for local goods, shirts, posters and jewelry. Tons of local artists show off their work here and it's great to see how creative the people of Austin TX can be. My wife and I come here every single year around Christmas, and we are never bored once.

Very cool, eclectic place to buy pieces of art. This place opens for a month in the holiday season and has lots of goodies from local Austin artists. Parking can be hard to come by but it is definitely worth checking out. Lines to purchase weren't long but it can get a bit packed inside. They do accept cash and card I believe and also have drinks and snacks to order as well.

I enjoyed this venue every bit as much as Armadillo Bazaar and more than "a Chritmas Affair" ( a Junior League event).

I found some things I wasn't looking for, but that I needed and wanted. I saw beautiful pieces I wanted just for myself, like separate or broken jewelry pieces--a clasp here for a necklace or a link for a watch. Also, I recently picked up an old knitting habit and wanted to replace some old yarn. It was nice to see an area dedicated to yarn, other crafts, and other hobbies. I can say I really got lost inside the store, discovering so much. I saw some frames to purchase to make a gallery wall. So, I will say this: if you need to revise a place or restock on some office supplies, please come here. Or if you just need some ideas on creating a space in your home, come here; it's a place where anyone can get a lot of ideas and inspiration.

Literally any craft project you can think of, they're going to have supplies for it and they're going to be dirt cheap! They also have greeting cards, They also have seasonal decor, jewelry, vintage items, stationary, frames, the list could go on forever. Good idea to just go check it out because I promise you will find something you've been looking for and didn't want to pay full price for!!

It is an open space with all sorts of art supplies, tools, and just about anything your imagination can muster up. Lots of inspiration. I was hoping to make more than just one small block and have different supplies like fabric for printing. It was very therapeutic to carve my small block. The class felt a little scattered - but it was a very easy going environment, super relaxed. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.
