I made the drive down and the gentlemen who worked there asked me what I was looking for in terms of comfort then walked me through my options. I made my selections and two days later the cushions were ready for pickup. My sofa feels brand new and so much more comfortable than it was before that I can't believe I didn't think to do this sooner. And the cost of getting foam for all four cushions was *very* affordable, especially when compared to what it would have cost to get the work done by one of the upholstery stores in town. I'll absolutely be back if I need foam for any cushions in the future!

I can't say enough good things about the service and workmanship of Austin Furniture Upholstery…read more We needed to either get our living furniture reupholstered or buy something new. Originally, we decided to just replace both furniture pieces because they were pretty beaten up. We looked around a bit and everything was either too expensive or poorly built. Looking around definitely made us rethink kicking our old expensive Natuzzi couches to the curb because the frames were so well built. Enter Jose and the Austin Furniture Upholstery Team. We tried two other upholstery shops and Austin Furniture Upholstery was the only shop that could match our original microfiber material at a reasonable price. The fabric was half the price of one of the other shops as well. They even made arm covers for the pieces as well Their pick-up & delivery fee was reasonable as well. One shop told me I would have to arrange someone else to pick-up the furniture. All that said, I highly recommend Jose and Austin Furniture Upholstery for your next upholstery job.

Fabric and Notion Selection at Poppy's is really great without being overwhelming. On the fabric side, I think there's a good balance between the blenders, batiks, and other quilting fabric compared to other stores I visited that were extremely heavy in only one type. Everything at Poppy's is of the highest quality so you can feel confident that it's money well spent. I've taken a few classes that were all taught by a true experts and artisans.
