He fixed the tension on my 27-year-old machine so that I could use it to sew knits again. He warned me in advance that it might not be possible. Eric approached the job as a peronal challenge....and succeeded! If I'd taken the machine elsewhere, the hours and work involved with the repair (if someone else could even do it), would have cost more than a newer, better machine. I made the drive down and the gentlemen who worked there asked me what I was looking for in terms of comfort then walked me through my options. I made my selections and two days later the cushions were ready for pickup. My sofa feels brand new and so much more comfortable than it was before that I can't believe I didn't think to do this sooner. And the cost of getting foam for all four cushions was *very* affordable, especially when compared to what it would have cost to get the work done by one of the upholstery stores in town. Friendly staff, this place has a little bit of everything. Boutique baby items, funny cards, lotions and sprays, high end PJ's, dresses/tops (Johnny Was), toy section for that last minute bday gift (Legos, books, other toys) and you don't want to go all the way into Bee Cave or Austin to get it. They also have a whole area in the back if you are in the need of reupholstering your house goods with many different fabrics and textures.
