Moss Designer Consignment was my first stop. They generally have good selections at great prices especially if they are on the final mark down. Moss is an excellent luxury resale shopping destination. Located on South Lamar, the store feels more like a boutique than a traditional consignment shop. The layout of the store is spacious, open and beautifully organized to allow ease of browsing and shopping. The store has high-end women's designer clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. You can pick up statement pieces at a fraction of the original retail price and feel confident in the quality of what you're buying. The staff was very helpful and friendly...opening up cases to allow you to see merchandise up close, at your leisure. They have an on-site authenticator of all their goods, which gives you a certain peace of mind that you are getting authentic pieces. While today, I did not find anything I could not live without, I will certainly pop in the future when I have free time to shop.

I didnt come in looking for anything specific but ended up leaving with shorts and a dress. (They also have some home goods, stationery, and clothes, but the jewelry is the true star.) Leslie, the owner, (who is super sweet by the way) stocks hard to find jewelry lines from emerging designers. There are different styles (chunky statement necklaces, so-small-they're-almost-invisible earrings, etc) but everything is artfully made and so so beautiful. Whenever I visit, I want it all. Plus, the shop itself is so pretty that I always end up snapping a couple pics on my phone for home decor inspiration. Since everything is made by legit designers, the price tags are definitely not what you'd find at Forever 21. But, there's a pretty good range- In addition to the $200 things I really want, I always find $40 or $50 things I really want. In conclusion, anyone who needs to buy me a present, go here pls!
