Fair price, dropped it off and got it fixed within 24 hours, guy genuinely likes to fix things instead of replacing them, apple wanted to completely toss the device and he fixed it. I got sent here cuz Rossman no longer does repairs, his recommendation speaks more to the quality of this shop than my review. read more

The guy was very patient abs helpful. We are just waiting on a quote now all. It's a little hard to figure out the problem.

My computer always ran hot, but one day, after I placed it in a carrying bag and forgot to turn it off first, it fried. Everything in the bag was hot. I thought it was probably dead, and the best I could hope for was that CompuPlus could recover my data. However, I asked them to at least try to fix it, and wonder of wonders, they did! So I had my computer and my data too!! And for only $99!!! They were friendly and helpful, their communication was excellent, and the work took a very reasonable time. Compuplus is now my go-to computer place. read more

Grate service I dropped my phone off yesterday picking up now and got a tempered glass for free thank Compuplus I will be back .

When my 10 year old computer developed a problem of intermittently not powering up, I combed through ads and reviews, looking for a repair service that was both capable and reasonably priced. CompuPlus got my attention with their offer of "completely free diagnostics with no obligation". It seemed that it would be hard to lose with an offer like that, so I took them my desktop. Alex and I discussed the machine's problem. He seemed to be an honest and conscientious small businessman who is sincerely interested in fixing things rather than replacing them. In our conversation, he emphasized the value of their "free diagnostics", suggesting that it was a great option for me personally. He wrote up a work order and then asked me to sign the touchscreen and approve the conditions. It was here (in their conditions) that I found out that his claim of "free diagnostics" simply isn't true. CompuPlus treats diagnostics the same way as most other repair shops. They will provide a diagnosis and a cost estimate. If you decide that you do not want to engage their services, then you owe them $30. That certainly doesn't qualify as "free", and it is debatable whether it is "with no obligation." Two days later, I got their estimate which was, IMO, a bit high (parts plus $89 labor to replace the power supply, which is about a 15 minute job), suggesting that their diagnostic time was rolled into the labor bid. Although I was feeling somewhat exploited at this point, I had come this far, so I begrudgingly accepted their bid, and one day later I was notified that the computer was ready for pickup. At pickup, I got my second pricing surprise. When I went to pay, I was informed that there would be an extra charge (3%) if I paid with a credit card. Making customers pay the service fee for credit card use is not that unusual these days, but generally businesses that have this policy post it on the wall in their store so that customers are aware of it. No such sign was evident in CompuPlus. I don't object to the extra charge. I object to this policy being concealed from me. Had I been aware of it, I would have taken my checkbook. For the record, my computer appears to be fixed, so I have to give CompuPlus points for promptness and competence. The unfortunate part of this is that ComuPlus really doesn't need to rely on deception to be successful. Alex is an engaging person with an appealing philosophy about repair. Most people who talk to him would be happy to give him their business. Misleading advertising and hidden pricing policies only serve to alienate people and generally do more harm than good. So c'mon CompuPlus! Your policies are reasonable. Own them and be transparent. In the long run, you will get more repeat customers and more word-of-mouth business with honesty than with disinformation. read more

As an autistic man, there are few things more important to me than my desktop computer. Saturday and sunday nights gaming are my sanctuary and my happy place... I realized a few weeks ago that my pc needed a new PSU. But the case on this pre-built is super super complicated. I was very concerned that if I tried to replace it myself I was going to f something up. Took the whole thing plus the new psu to compuplus and they had the psu replaced in less than a day, and for a reasonable rate. would absolutely recommend read more

I left my PC with them and they charged me hundreds of dollars to replace the old hard drive with a new one and save my data. I would not have done it but they said the computer was a really good box. Well I got it home and after two weeks the computer would not start. I brought it back to them and they said the motherboard was bad. They wanted hundreds more to transfer my data or they said I could buy one from them for another hundred or so. Plus, when I tried to pick it up they wanted to charge me an "opt out fee". I couldn't believe it. I refused and they dropped the charge but the guy at the front desk wouldn't even answer my questions. I thought that was very rude. Turns out I called around and found that I could get the data transfered for a fraction of the cost. Do yourself a favor and don't trust these guys. read more

What a lifesaver Alex is. It took him no time at all to replace my iPhone screen and battery, iand for way less money than I had expected to pay. I had been dreading having the screen on my iPhone replaced, because I had it placed once before, and found that my phone never worked right again. I figured that this would make my phone even worse. Imagine my surprise to get a phone back that works as well as it did before I had to get the screen replaced the first time. I cannot recommend this repair shop more highly. read more

I spilled coffee all over my macbook in March and called and Alex told me to bring it right away. He worked on my laptop and fixed all of the water damage done to the screen and motherboard, even working on it over the weekend and sending me text updates. Thinking back on it, my laptop should have been completely done and not working. Truly such a great worker at what he does and did a very great job! It's been 7 months and my macbook is working super great. Thank you Alex!! read more
