Went to Dollar Tree to get some food to go containers...score! We have a meeting on Sunday for a community service organization where food will be served. I found the perfect containers that separate the food. Super pleased with my purchase! Food for thought...why is the store called dollar tree when most things in the store is $1.25? read more

Most of the Dollar Trees in Austin have gone downhill rapidly. Not just the price hikes but obviously have a hard time finding good staff. I stood at a register about a week ago with my items lined up to go A girl, who worked there just out and out ignored me. I left with the items still at the register. Today I went to just buy birthday ribbons ( that's all I'll buy nowadays) at the $$$ tree next to target on Anderson lane. I practically woke the guy up sitting behind the register. A lot to do in the store to be just hanging out dozing off. I get no one wants to work there but read more

Was accused of stealing after losing MY money!! pretty sure it was one of the employees. Extremely rude -1000/10 customer service. I stopped in an empty isle, sat my 2 items down and began searching my purse for my lost bill I dropped , one of the pigs come squeaking at me to "STOP STEALING". Now I can completely get how that looks but, 1)they could've just looked at cameras 2)the approach was terrible and extremely uncalled for. While proceeding to approach me with 2 other "things" ($7 hourly associates) trying to intimidate me, the manager touches my PURSE ?!? Over (2) $1.25 items that I already put down prior to searching my bag and pockets . Very disgusting and how this was handled because I am far from a thief. I believe one was on dru&$ and just having a bad night regardless corporate will be involved. Also The "manager" smelt so foul please go anywhere but here!! read more

Long lines to check out, only one register open, often dirty, and lacks the selection of other locations.

Door hours say they open at 8 am. It's 9:10 am on a Monday and nobody on site. Doors locked. People coming and trying to open the door and then leaving. Such a waste of everyone's time. read more

Stopped in for laundry detergent and softener to do laundry back at the hotel. Cashier was very friendly. Was disappointed that they didn't have smaller bottles of detergent like the single use size. read more

Always well stocked, clean floors, with the most polite staff and a large selection of all of your usual staples.

Pretty good selection. I spent 29 bucks and im guessing i could have easily spent 10 more in there too. Packing up my RV with supplies doesn't get any easier than this. Absolutely the cheapest way to go for stuff like this. read more

They always have the exact thing I didn't know I needed but for some reason can't live without and it's really clean inside the store looks great a lot nicer than it did like 2 years ago read more

So it's Dollar Tree. We all know how Dollar Trees are however this one is the slowest of slow! I've never seen two lines open here, and the line always take over 15+ minutes just to get through. They really need to get more employees in here. But hey, again, IT'S DOLLAR TREE! So meh. read more

This place is a dollar mecca. Was looking for gold things and i found tons of gold wedding stuff, jewelry, hats, accessories - stuff that the other dollar tree definitely didnt have. Its new so its relatively organized and the lady behind the counter was totally nice and told me the secret of those "gift for a boy/girl" bags which i swore to keep secret. Sometimes you just need a dollar store. If you do, this is the place to check out for all your cheap and surprising deals. read more

Dollar stores. You see them and you tend to expect the worst; dinky, ugly places full of useless items, with the occasional disillusioned and depressed staff sweeping the messy aisles or manning the cash register. Some dollar stores I've visited are the stuff of nightmares. Dollar Tree greatly surpassed my expectations by being a very clean and welcoming store, powered by mostly cheery employees (that alone is a miracle). It has a very good inventory and I was able to buy a lot of good household products cheaply. This visit took me by surprise and I will certainly be back next time I need a notebook, scotch tape, cleaning products or a cat toy! read more

Being one of the newer Dollar Trees around town, it's well-lit, clean and organized. I love browsing here and always end up buying something that I can use. Recently, I bought four plain white name-brand T-shirts for a project at $1 each (vs. $5 or so from Hobby Lobby). Another time I found TV brand hangers, the kind that saves closet space because 5 things can hang on one hanger, for $1 each vs. regular retail price of $8 & up. Lots of good deals to be had! I love Dollar Tree! read more

I love the Dollar tree, any and all! They have all things I need and most of it is a dollar! Like what!!! Wish I had a dollar tree back home!! I would be there all the time! read more

As with all businesses, there is a revolving staff over the years. Past reviews tell about awful customer service, but today, May 2023, i have nothing but great things to say. 2 VERY nice ladies helped me figure out an alternative to an item they were out of, helped me to my car with bags, and the man who checked me out went out of his way to go grab bigger bags for my larger items. Very cool- and very impressive! Also- it's dollar tree - they've got AWESOME stuff, y'all. Yardley of London soap - yes, please. read more

This has to be the most cleanest, orginized, Dollar Store that I have been to! I stopped by to get a folder, and a gift bag, and I was amazed to see all the aisle very neat and clean. I expected to see stuff on the floor, and messy shelves. Looks like this manager really cares about their store. I like it a lot and I'll be back read more

Doors are locked mid day. Wasted my time and all the other customers. Extremely frustrated and will not be back

I went to the Dollar Tree today to buy something. Like a specific something which I forgot about when I was there. Peanut Butter Crackers. I ended up with 16 or so items in my cart, all of which i HAD to have, since they were a buck each. I walked out happy with my several items, spending less than twenty bucks, and once I got home, I remembered I forgot the peanut butter crackers. A super special secret about dollar store food : A lot of it's vegan. No, really! It is. Chocolate covered cookies, giant pretzels, crackers, chips.... You get the point. read more

This store is extremely well-organized! Clean for the most part and have many different products available from wrapping paper to candles! This is my first visit to this store despite living in the neighborhood for 2 years. Will definitely make it my main dollar store! read more

I usually frequent the other location on i35 (next to Ross).. and since I was going toward Burnet area, I decided to check this location out. Complete 180 difference! This place is super clean and organized. I was so used to the disheveled appearance of the other location that I was a little shocked. You can find anything here, and most times, I end up walking with 5 other items that I didn't come in to buy. "Oh, I might need this. Plus, it's only a dollar....." Gets me every time. read more

Today The worst! One line. About 50 customers in the store, 22 in line waiting to pay. 5 employees milling about busily and 1 elderly gentleman attending the register. Rule 1. Tend the registers first, then you can proceed to merchandise the store. Good thing is I saved about $60 as I left my full basket. Two weeks ago experienced an altercation with a very rude woman who reeked of ignorance, according to her, NO ONE should be near her while she shops...manager simply walks by without a word... read more

I absolutely love Dollar Tree and was delighted to find them here in Austin. New to the area, I always shopped there in Chicago. This one is off the highway right near a Target, so if you don't find what you need at Dollar Tree, you can probably get it at Target. I was stocking up on stuff as a new condo owner - so I needed just about everything one can imagine - having moved from Chicago. Found darn near everything I needed - and if I'd had my list handy - probably would have gotten all of it! Visited the Target next door for groceries and I was all set -- at least for a few weeks! read more

Dollah "Make Yo Momma Holla" Store!! This store is always clean and the staff always friendly and helpful. And now they have a frozen food section! Their school/office supplies section is awesome, as is their kitchen stuff like foil and freezer bags, garbage bags, etc. This was my go to place when I needed to find white Elephant gifts for my work colleagues. You can find everyday essentials here as well as funky stuff. And they play awesome 70's music! Did I mention that everything is a DOLLAR?! read more

Everything is $1. Gift wrapping, decoration, snacks, balloons, tattoos, stickers, and everything is $1. Three year old son wants to do his Christmas shopping. No problem ... he's got the pick of the store. There will be some non-standard presents this year but it will be memorable. Back scratchers, neon glow sticks, and some fake flowers to round out stocking stuffing. Staff is friendly and helpful in looking for anything you want. What a great place. read more

Surprisingly, I found a lot of items I would never have expected to be here at Dollar Tree. From gift bags, candle holders, and even frozen foods, Dollar Tree is a store that has a variety of things you may need last minute, or for during the holiday season. I recently bought several holiday goodies here (gift wrapping paper, Christmas signs). They have a whole aisle dedicated to toys (fyi parents). The prices of items can be cheaper than your average Walmart or HEB. But I recommend doing your research beforehand if you want to know what Dollar Tree items are worth it. My favorite part about this Dollar Tree is the friendly staff. One cashier named Adam was extremely nice and asked how my day was. He also apologized for the long wait in line as someone before us had bought over $100 worth of stuff, all that was going to be donated to charity. He even guessed that I was a UT student and asked if there was a game going on this Saturday. All in all, I walked into the Dollar Tree store with low expectations and came out with a smile. read more

Every single time I find something that is $4-$5 outside and double checking if it is a $ or not. And every single time they are saying, 'You can't find anything here costs more than one dollar!'. As dollar stores go, this Dollar Tree is one of the better ones I've ever visited (and being the cheap-a...er, frugal person I am, I've visited a few). It appeared here in 2006, after this newly-remodeled strip mall had been sitting mostly-vacant for quite some time. Anyway, probably in part due to its newness, this Dollar Tree is clean and well-kept. It is also quite large. It seems to be continually stocked with fresh, interesting merchandise. In addition to the regular dollar store fare (off-brand cleaning supplies, cheap tools and toys, bath and beauty products, candles, etc.), it's a terrific source for gift bags, greeting cards, mylar balloons, and novelty paper products for parties (napkins, plates, that kind of thing). They also carry the obligatory boxed and canned food, although their stuff generally looks fresher and isn't all dusty and beat-up looking (and they carry Pringles for those days when they're not on sale elsewhere). Other random things of interest I've found here and either purchased or thought about purchasing: pretty nice plates and mugs, cute baby t-shirts, cheap jewelry). And there's more where that came from, too. Dollars may not grow on trees, but it's easy to spend them here as if they did. read more

Normally I would love this store except some weird thing happen I went in put it on my bank card lo and behold I was charge four times I went in and told manager he handed me 1-800 number so then I went to bank and disputed charges they removed them and asked why did the not just put on my card ? so beware take cash it is hell and a lot of gas to be driving back and fourth if you live south and have too go north. read more

This is the dirtiest and poorest kept store I have been to in a long long time. I wonder when it has been vacuumed last, because it surely hasn't been recently. Yuck. I get that in the late afternoon you may see a need for shelf organization, but this place has boxes and clutter and literal trash everywhere. Oh and the icing was when the woman who checked me out was on her personal phone the ENTIRE time talking about lawyers and child support and never once looked up at me. I'll go to the big one on Ohlen Rd from now on even though it's farther. Get your store in order folks, its gross and at least one employee is rude. read more

These guys are great, the store is clean and organized, the employees are friendly, and they still offer free bags! Also, right now they have seeds on sale so instead of a dollar per pack, they're twenty-five cents. I'm reasonably sure that I'm going to be able to grow way more than fifty cents worth of corn and lettuce. read more

Wasn't sure whether to laugh or be offended, maybe the employee was joking with us. We walked in and were greeted with "Y'all got four minutes until we close". Two minutes the announcement came again, this time telling us that if we weren't at the counter in two minutes, we'd have to come back tomorrow to pick up our stuff. The guy in front of me got to the counter and said "Yay, he made it in time" and she retorted with the intellectually deep response of "Mmmmhmm". Again, not sure if the staff said all these things in a good-natured way, or in a disgruntled way. read more
