    Receipt from 7/13
    Victoria M.

Came Saturday and spent over $150. This isn't an odd occurrence as I love close so I'll hit this store up often. In the last couple of weeks I've spent at least $50 3Xs a week. This last visit (7/13) along with everything else I bought I got some essential oils for $9.99. When I got them home and tried them in my burner they didnt smell like anything. So I tried it in my diffuser and still nothing. I tried 4 or the 6 scents but still no smell! I wasn't able to take them back to the store on sunday and Monday I was sick. Back at the store (as I type this) today 7/16. When the clerk (her name was Jackie) finished looking at her phone and accepted me at her terminal she was VERY skeptical of my return. She called another person over (her name was Raquel and her tag identified her as a coordinator) who told the Jackie she couldn't deny my return. Jackie promptly got onto the store phone and called someone I later found out named Chris (another coordinator) amd told him I was attempting to return empty bottles. This of course was untrue, opened and used, yes, empty no. I wouldn't do such a thing. Anyway, Chris told her to decline my return but she told him the Raquel had already told me yes. Therefore, they did the return with Jackie giving Raquel attitude for accepting my return and telling me Raquel would take me at register 1. Raquel came back and apologized for the hassle (for some reason the oils didn't show up on my receipt and had to manually do it. I told her I was VERY unhappy being treated like a criminal attempting to steal products by pulling some return heist. Especially considering how much I spend and how often I'm in this store. Raquel again apologized amd said she understood. I'm incredibly disgusted with the treatment I've received in this store. I only brought them back with the hopes of getting new ones. I wasn't even looking for a monetary refund! I find it laughable that they would be so harsh about returns considering I've brought hair products from here and gotten them home only to find they had already been opened amd I didn't return those! I even pointed it out to the cashier at the time of purchase. And got no offer of reign check or anything. But I let that ride only to have them accuse me of stealing oils! It seems to me some training is in order. And I would STRONGLY recommend Raquel give the training as she seems to be the only one versed in customer service. She's the ONLY reason for the second star by the way.

Although I always end up getting dragged to come here with my girlfriend, this store has a great selection of affordable products. I usually end up buying a tech accessory. Cellphone accessories galore on the cheap! If you are in a pinch and need a charging cable, battery power bank, head phones, or cell phone case, come here first. Prices are comparable to Amazon. Also their home and kitchen products are very underrated. Check out this location as it has an equal variety of items.

I should have known better when she wasn't even paying attention while scanning and just had this I don't care attitude the whole time but we were in such a rush that we didn't even look through our stuff until now. I'm back home and I had gotten a cute pair of Dr. Martens that I wanted to wear and after cutting off the tag and peeling the sticker on the inner heel off realized the security tag was left on one of the shoes. Today I was going to return three items that didn't work out and after looking over the receipt realized I was charged twice on an item. I went to a nearby Ross to ask if it would even be possible to get a refund and to remove the security tags and they told me I would have to go back to the original store for the refund and because the original tag isn't on the shoes they couldn't remove the security tag. When I called this store to ask if they could review the tapes over the phone they said I would have to do it in person. We decided to accept the $16 loss over the 2 hour drive and gas wasted to stand there as they verify I was double charged. We just don't have the time to make that trip again but seriously train your staff to pay more attention when handling people's merchandise. It's an easy enough job you're just scanning the items. I shouldn't have to stand guard the next time someone scans my items to make sure they're doing it right when they could have done it right in the first place.

I just lucked out there was a space on the street just a couple hundred feet from their parking lot. Either way, I had been excited to see they were opening a store so close to where I live. Loads of people were shopping, likely for last-minute parts for their costumes for parties later that night. I only saw two employees working, but it could be there were more in the back or some that I didn't see on the floor. My costume needed denim shorts that hit mid-thigh, and while the weather had been cold lately, they had some in stock, I just wasn't willing to pay $26 for them. (I had a plan B for my costume anyway, if the shorts here didn't work out.)  I also came in with a tote bag full of a few pieces to sell. I ended up jumping in the line to pay for things since the area to sell clothing had no one at the desk, or even any signage that indicated what to do if no one was there. So, I waited patiently for the girl at the register to ring the two groups in front of me up, but in the meantime, I eavesdropped and saw she was great at making small talk and not awkward at all. When it was my turn, I told her I wanted to sell, and she had me go sit by the wall near the selling counter and call for someone else to help me. That person seemed conflicted about whether to look through my garments or assist the growing line of folks trying to buy, but she decided to help me out. I maybe had 10 pieces tops (in fairly good condition), and while she examined each and set them aside, she told me they'd buy for all seasons and next time I do a closet clean out, to come on by... but that was my closet cleanout. :/ I had some J-Crew and Madewell tops and a Zara jumper. (Yeah, I know, fast fashion ain't doing so hot right now, but to lessen our impact it's better to reuse than to trash it, right?) Anyway, I left a tad disappointed considering my last Buffalo visit a few months back led to $100 cash.  If you're looking to sell, it sounds like they want a few more higher-end goods or things that are trending. So dust off your old '90s goods, if you were smart enough to keep them. I, on the other hand, will be donating the items I attempted to sell to women in need versus dropping them off at Goodwill.
