This location is clean, but the selection is sparse. It is a hit or miss.

I like Marshall's / TJ Maxx because it's like treasure hunting. There is a lot of crap in there, but I usually leave with a good deal.

Selection could be better but it was also very crowded so just picked through what's left. At least I got my CoolWater Cologne!

Great deals for home decorations, hardwares, bedding, bathroom decoration and women clothings. I am a regular customer there.

The supply here isn't as great as other stores in regards to bags, clothes and shoes. Good spot for smaller home items and decor

Got in line with my returns and the line moved efficiently and I was out like a minute or two after close.

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

They gone done a really good job with this mall, y'all. I appreciated it years ago visiting when I was on tour and it was basically nothing, but still a hot spot for UT students. Rundown yet popular students despite not really having anything. Now they've turned it into a real fancy violin... um, I mean mall, not sure why my predictive text thinks this mall is a string instrument but anyway. So several of my friends whom are students head down here often to hang out and get boba from the popular and over-busy Gong Cha here. So it's alive, and largely because there's a bubble tea shop and a whole bunch of TVs for you to watch in the food court. So if you're at UT and spoiled by stuff to do... this is just an extra place for you to hang out and spend money and I think it's a great location and has some cool stuff as well. Parking is awful though unless you pay for the garage.

We have a Target inside the mall, and a few other really nice shops. These were all put here primarily for students that live in the dorms on campus, as well as the dorms located in the tower above the mall, not the general population. Also, the businesses & dorms are their own entities, meaning they aren't owned or managed by the owners of Dobie Mall.

I have brought her everything from bridesmaid dresses to work pants and casual shirts, and every single piece comes back looking like it was custom made just for me. Her precision, craftsmanship, and eye for detail are second to none. She doesn't just alter clothing; she transforms it. Whether it is adjusting fit, reshaping silhouettes, or tailoring something to flatter perfectly, Andrea knows exactly what to do. She is incredibly skilled, fast, and professional, and she somehow manages to make even the most complex alterations look effortless. It is rare to find someone with her level of talent and consistency. K&G should feel honored to have such a top tier specialist on their team. Andrea elevates the entire customer experience, and because of her, I will be coming back again and again. She is the gold standard for alterations in Austin, Texas(:

See, I went down to the San Antonio store to see if they had anything this one didn't have. After surveying both stores, my favorite suit has my size jacket in San Antonio and pants in Austin. Not sure if I want to drive to SA again to get the jacket or if I'll settle on a suit from somewhere else. But in a pinch, this place would be clutch for a cheap suit!
