So I'll instead focus on my buying experience. This shop is well organized by size and style of clothing which makes it easy to find what you need. There are a few changing rooms (wish the mirrors were higher quality) so you can see what fits you best. They have promotions time to time based on colors so make sure ot ask about that. I found a high end tommy knitted sweater for like $14 when I personally knew it retailed for $250+ so I made sure to play it cool lol. All in all, come here to buy but don't have high expectations when you attempt to sell.

Second Looks is clearly his baby: he's not just an attentive consultant, responding to your preferences on house, material, and tailoring (thankfully, he is not hesitant to offer his excellent suggestions on fit and styling), he's also a gentleman and a scholar, eager to share his considerable knowledge about the history of menswear, soul music, and rodeo, having been a cowboy himself before working in radio and taking over Second Looks. Michael's selection is fantastic. he showed me suits and separates from Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece, Drake's, Canali, and local Austin bespoke tailors Capra and Cavelli. He's got Allen Edmonds shoes and a great collection of belts, which seem to go very quickly. I didn't peruse his selection of casualwear, but it seemed just as well-curated and complete as his formal sections. I walked out with a Golden Fleece jacket and alligator belt having spent about $115--he gave me the educator discount. I couldn't have asked for better value. Having lived in Boston, Cleveland, Charleston, SC, Eugene, OR, Granada, Spain, and Norwich, England, I've never been so impressed by a menswear shop, let alone a secondhand store, or by its owner. I had one of their small upright carts and that even had difficulties getting through some of the displays or racks of clothing. People were constantly having to go back the way they came because it was too crowded to pass by each other. It was a mess. Not too mention if you had ADA needs- I don't think you could have a positive shopping experience here. This Old Navy location needs to downsize their merchandise selection and mannequins- it was too crowded! Recommend if you're just popping in to get one or two items, but if you're browsing for nothing in particular I would go to Barton Creek Mall or the Brodie Lane location.

I noticed that they carried a local brand that I loved, "Ornamental Things." The Paper Work employee who was greeting us must have noticed that their section for this brand immediately caught my eye as I darted over there stating "this is the brand of that necklace that I lost!" I just moved recently and lost some jewelry in the process, including one of my absolute favorite pieces, the "Heart Wave" necklace by Ornamental Things. I was searching over there to see if they carried the exact piece that I was missing, but sadly they didn't. The Paper Work Employee (I am still disappointed I did not catch her name) approached me and asked which exact piece was I looking for? Stating that she could reach out to the owner of Ornamental Things to see if they had more of that piece in their stock. Sure enough the employee snapped a photo I had of myself wearing the necklace and sent it off to the owner, she was able to locate one (Thank goodness!) and I was able to purchase it! It is on its way being shipped to my home. I am so thankful for the Paper Work employee who went above and beyond to not only make my experience amazing but provide one of a kind service and replace something truly special to me. Thank you!
