Cool local print shop with a surprising number of pieces I found myself enticed by. The staff were all friendly and I enjoyed the relaxed but busy vibe on a Saturday afternoon. Worth stopping in if your looking for a keepsake or two or a gift for someone.

Large, neat store with a variety of prints in many styles. The farther into the store you go, the more varied the styles get. You can also go the ramp in the back to get to a large catalogued selection. Pieces are labeled by artist and price. They also have trinkets, T-shirts, and other random items.

We really enjoyed this store. Lots of great artwork and items for sale. Will definitely return on our next trip and recommend to friends.

If your looking for Austin local art, goods and gifts -- THIS IS YOUR PLACE! The place is much bigger than you think and although there is local art sprinkled through the store the back room is dedicated just for art. They have everything from shirts to greetings cards to koozies to stickers to mugs to.... well you name it! It's clean, they are stocked up with all kinds of merchandise (really something for everyone), the staff was helpful & friendly, and it was just a nice refreshing place to pop into in between food and drink hopping! I didn't buy anything, but I already regretted it the second I left the S. Congress area, so needless to say next time I'm in town, I'll be back!

I bought these art pieces from Paper Work. All of their inventory is local artists.

Loved it. Right away I was greeted by a friendly employee. She was super sweet. I loved everything about this store. The selection of art and artsy souvenirs were awesome and unique. It is worth the price because of the artist work.

The prices are quite reasonable, especially for the location, right on South Congress in a wonderful old building.

However, this time was a lot different and I was able to find the perfect gifts for my friend's birthday as well as fun items for myself. It seems like the selection has remained the same although Atown is keeping up with current and modern trends. For example, there were a lot of ICE based items tucked away as well as current celebrity crushes who are on everybody's minds. The coolest thing I found was a James Talarico candle but other than that, a lot of the items that were for sale were pretty kitschy and I believe they are the same wholesale items I have seen before. I must shoutout the incredibly helpful service from Audrey who went above and beyond to help me find items for my friend's birthday. She was super sweet, and I would've been wandering around the store aimlessly if it wasn't for her direction. Additionally, she even came up with combination gift ideas which was pretty sick. Atown is lucky to have her! I think my PTSD is no longer because of her assistance. Great store, unfortunately high prices. However, no one does it like Atown!

There are 3 or 4 separate areas you can visit and they have things from locally made earrings and art to coasters, desk plates, rubber ducks of famous people, religious candles with random famous people, funny socks, clothes, and so much more. The staff is friendly and outgoing, they even had a woman at the door greeting you and offering you a hand basket if you wanted or needed one. There were 3 or 4 cashiers and at least one lady walking around greeting you and seeing if they could help. It is pricier then your chain store but the products are cooler, unique, and many times locally made. Things you can't get at other stores or amazon. Like so many places, it's one downside is parking. It is a small lot, if you part in front you basically have to back in to spot blocking traffic or back out into traffic. There is a small side lot that is better but you basically have to 3 point turn out of that spot. Always willing to pay a bit more to support local. We don't get out of our area/comfort zone much but we do love this place. #Supportlocal

Now, the real star: the gluten-free baked goods. We tried four different things, cookies included, and honestly? I was stunned. Not overly sweet, not dry, not crumbly, just genuinely delicious pastries that happen to be gluten-free. I don't know what magic they're working in that kitchen, but this is easily the best gluten-free bakery I've come across. A must-visit, no question.

Every piece in the store appears to be intentionally curated. Maaribu melds a home and gift shop with an in house café and bakery, creating an experience that's both relaxing and memorable. According to Mable, my server, Maaribu is a combination of the word Marfa (Texas town that has the Prada store) and Malibu. The brand is often described as combining Marfa's creative spirit, Malibu's laid back lifestyle, and clean Scandinavian design. The shop portion of Maaribu is beautifully styled, featuring furniture, décor, books, and gifts that have a modern flare. All the items are easy to peruse and get drawn in. The use of color is playful and engaging. Maaribu's key highlight is its café and bakery. The in house café has an assortment of coffee, wellness beverages, and dedicated gluten free baked goods. I bought a Rose honey latte, which was divine along with a multi-layer pastry. Mable said customers enjoy the quality and flavor of the pastries...scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites are frequent favorites. Importantly, the café is reported to be fully gluten free, which makes it a standout destination for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, without sacrificing taste or variety. The outdoor seating and patio area add to the charm, making Maaribu a great place to enjoy coffee and pastries on a nice Austin morning. After years in Austin, I finally discovered Maaribu--a modern, eclectic coffee shop and store. Every item is thoughtfully curated, blending a home-and-gift shop with a café and bakery for a relaxing experience. The name combines Marfa's creative vibe, Malibu's laid-back style, and Scandinavian design. The shop offers stylish furniture, décor, books, and gifts, all easy to browse and visually engaging. Maaribu's café is fully gluten-free, featuring quality pastries like scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites, as well as wellness drinks and coffee. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!
