Wow! Came in to have my husband's chain necklace repaired that was purchased originally at Barton Creek Mall. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the option to repair it which would mean waiting for a week to get back or get a brand new one at 50% off the price. I opted for a brand new one:) Needless to say I was able to walk out with a necklace ready to gift AGAIN! I will be back next month to buy Christmas gifts;) read more

James Avery - Jewelry Near Me - Austin, Texas

I popped into James Avery to see what, if any, wedding bands they had. When I walked into the store, there were about 4 employees inside. None of them greeted me as I walked in. It wasn't until I said hello that someone asked, in response to my hello, if I was looking for something. I told her I was looking for wedding bands and she pointed me in the direction of the case that held the rings. After that, I was left alone with no one to help me see anything that was inside of the case. I have a general rule of not asking people to help me spend money at their establishment, so I just left. I will not be returning to this business. read more

The selection at this location was amazing. My sales associate was very informative and helped me to select just the right pieces. The jewelry is, of course, stunning! read more

Every time I come here there's always three people in a circle talking. I feel like an Audience member on the view watching these women talk about everything but what's important. They never ask if I need help but it's ok I'm grown I go to the gentlemen in the back training someone and ask for his help. He apologizes for the wait and I leave. Yeah I feel sorry for you to having to work with these lazy girls read more

James Avery - Jewelry Near Me - Austin, Texas

KERRVILLE, Texas, After years and thousands of dollars spent at James Avery, not only for 5 bracelets of my own and gifting James Avery to my family and friends left and right, I come to the sad realization that James Avery doesn't care about its customers. It been a month since i reached out to you and i have been in limbo in regards to a lost package due to a discrepancy with your website. I have called and today I was told that there's nothing you can do! I rather lose the money on that order and never buy from you than to continue to waste my time trying to resolve this issue, because i am the one trying. At these today agent was kind enough to be honest and tell it was not James Avery's problem. read more

Very rude customer service. Immediately walking into the store my son and I did not get the standard "welcome" greeting immediately ignored. Walked around for 20 minutes and watched every patron that walked into us after us get a welcome, service and help. We weren't offered help, assistance, nothing. I asked the cashiers if we did something wrong by walking in because we didn't get any service, they just said sorry. Very weird awkward experience read more

I came in just needed to add a charm onto my bracelet. Deborah was a great help her upbeat and happy attitude definitely made this experience so much better. I will definitely be coming back to this location. read more

James Avery jewelry has the most beautiful selections! I started my collection in December of last year. My hubby purchased a charm bracelet with a movie ticket charm for Christmas. I love it! I knew then that I would have to keep collecting as all the available charms were so adorable! Fast forward to September 2017 - after a life altering event I went to James Avery to select a ring to be engraved and picked out the Let Love Soar ring. The pictures online did not do it justice. The ring is so pretty and petite. It was perfect for me. I chose to have a name engraved on the inside and the name came out a lot smaller than I had hoped but it was still beautiful nonetheless. The only complaint I have with the ring is that the heart scratched very easily. It is not made for everyday wear. In addition to the ring I purchased three additional charms and two rings. The charms took my breath away, and brought tears to my eyes, and the rings were perfect! All of the pieces were just what I needed for my occasion and I am beyond happy with my purchases. The associate who helped me was Jennifer and she was the BEST! Very friendly and a great help in my time of need. Thanks so much Jennifer! read more

I was just contacting to hopefully make someone aware of the situation I just had. I just picked up 2 items I bought online this morning. The customer service from the girl behind the counter was rather rude, unappealing and not helpful. She had trouble finding my order but said it was because I used the wrong name. I've ordered and purchased jewelry from this location countless times before so I was thoroughly confused. Everybody has a bad day sure, I get it. But what struck me and made me write this was that she just gave me the boxes and told me to have a nice day. I had to ask for a bag for my two purchases. All she did was put them in the one bag. And again said have a nice day. Past times before I've had them individually wrapped, and neatly presented. This is more so disappointing because these are actually two different gifts for two different people that I now have to wrap myself. I didn't ask for them to be wrapped again after the rude service but obviously Caitlyn was upset about something. I love yalls jewelry but this service today really stuck out to me and was unsettling and disappointing when spending over $100 on gifts. read more

This locations doesn't even deserve a star. I have been going to this location for more than 5 years and I have never been more disappointed since my last visit! Nicole had me putting my charms in the location I wanted and watched me struggle to open and close the safety pen and was getting impatient as I was taking too long! Never in my 5 years have I ever placed my charms on my own bracelet as this was always done for me. I am very disappointed in how customers are treated in this location. Definitely never going back to this location and I recommend everyone to go to another location where you're treated better! Horrible horrible service! read more

I came in to have 6 charms put on my brand new bracelet and they had it ready the same day! I also asked for recommendations on how to arrange my charms and was given great advice. Awesome service! Will be returning for all my gift giving needs :) read more

I didn't encounter any of the attitude the previous reviewers did... however I made sure to go in to this location with no expectations other than taking advantage of the current sale. My husband and I bought me a heart charm bracelet for our anniversary, and new initial charms for my married name. I had a good time and felt we were treated well. The store worked with us on pick up time when we needed to make a change. I left a star to grow on as I feel there are some minor improvements that can be made. I feel like it's up and up though, they've been working on Coustomer Service! Feel free to swing by and see yourself ^-^ read more

At their prices, most would think they're getting sterling silver. Well, as an MRI tech, I can assure you they are not. My "silver" ring and those of many of my clients pull in the magnet, meaning there's stainless steel mixed in there. How Christian of them! read more

Dropped off 2 separate bracelets to add charms to and when I went to pick them up 1 of the bracelets they showed me wasn't even mine. They completely misplaced my bracelet. I don't understand how they could have even mixed them up considering they're tagged and put into the computer with your name and you have to verify everything and should have been kept together. The women helping me was very frantic and dug through all the bags after I had to give her a description of what my bracelet looked like bc no one was helping her, and the one women who did chime in told her it was the completely wrong one so it took even longer bc she wasn't even looking for the right thing. It took about 20 mins and she finally found it and I inspected the crap out of it. I never got an apology from anyone other then the women who helped me either. I also am sure the person who's bracelet they almost gave me would be pissed to find out they misplaced hers too. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. Every single person I encountered here was so rude! From the greeting at the door to check out, not one person made me feeling even slightly comfortable to be there. I will NEVER be back to this location. read more

I will never shop there again!! I have purchased jewelry and received jewelry over the years. For the first time ever I wanted to return a gift I received. I was given a gift receipt so I assumed it would be no problem. But I was shocked to hear you can only exchange or get store credit unless you have the gift givers receipt. Isn't that why we get gift receipts? So it's not awkward or hurtful if you need to return it? Beware if you ever consider purchasing a gift for someone from this store! Their gift receipts are worthless! read more

My wife and I travel to Austin about twice a year to visit her family and we always stop in to this James Avery location to have our jewelry cleaned and buy something new! :) Their service is amazing and Cathy just treats us so special every time we come in. Everyone has always been so helpful there. Highly recommend! read more

I was so excited when this store opened because it was much more convenient to my South Austin estate. However, I was extremely disappointed when I experienced the employee costumer service. This store is set up much different than other James Avery locations so I do understand that it is harder to identify the item each costumer is asking for because employees have to walk up to everyone that walks in the door instead of costumers coming in and writing down the items they're looking to buy. I'm not here to complain that every single employee in the store is ill-mannered, but the few I've encountered weren't very nice either. They where rude, dismissive and unaware of products being sold. I went in to look for a ring in a size 7.5. An employee greeted me and I informed her of the item I wanted and she then led me to the cashier counter. She then opened the drawer and said to me, "looks like we have a 7 and 8, but no 7.5" in a very dismissive and uninterested tone while keeping her back to me. She then walked out from behind the counter, without looking at me or offering to order what I was looking for, and rudely said, "good luck with that" and began to help another costumer at the front of the store. I was left standing at the cashier counter shocked by the uncomforting response. I also understand that this store is fairly new, but the time they take to solder charms is ridiculous! The insanity of the holidays even beats the time this South location takes to solder charms. The staff of this location has to undergo some serious training from the Barton Creek location employees. The one star review is me being generous. read more

I love James Avery but this store needs new employeesI left my charm bracelet there for more than 2 weeks for a cleaning and it's still dirty. The lady tells me well that's all we could do. Umm no that's not all you can do! This is the first time ever that I've taken jewelry in and it's still dirty. Then she tells me we can send it away for a charge. No thanks I'll just take it to Bartoncreek mall where I know they will clean it correctly. Stop being lazy ppl! read more

I grew up in Austin with a J.A. store around the corner. Now I live in CA where there are no J.A. stores, but I still collect and wear their jewelry. When I was home visiting recently, I went in with several "to dos" - replace two rings for my teenager, replace a missing earring for myself and buy a new chain. The sales person was extremely helpful. She helped my daughter try on at least eight different rings and waited patiently while this young teen pondered which ones she liked. The sales person made it easy for me to pick one of several types of chains. She looked up product care info and was clear about how J.A. would take the one earring I had and replace it with a pair of the same earrings - but new and I only had to pay for one. We also had a ring that my daughter had outgrown and they gave her a product care discount on one of her new rings. Overall, this was a pleasant experience. Thank you! read more
