"Girl, put your records on Tell me your favorite song You go ahead, let your hair down Sapphire and faded jeans" We just found our new favorite thrift store..not only is the customer service amazing but their selection of items are great and priced reasonably. They really stand behind what they say. I also appreciate that they have clothes for the entire family so my baby girl racked up and got a beautiful coat for $3 that is like new by S13. This is how you help your community and I will definitely be supporting and bringing my donations here. ALSO the patchwork pants I found soon as I walked in the door were epic and I couldn't resist them. Also snatched the M&M denim jacket for my sister while checking out. I had to fight myself to leave lol. Please check them out and we will definitely be back.

this is a really great thrift shop in austin and i love what theyre doing. out of all the stand-alone thrift shops ive been to in austin, this was by far the most affordable. my friend purchased a pair of good condition white air forces for $15. i also purches an excellent condition sweater, and a few wraps/scarves for under $20. they also have a free clothing section which i adore. the clothing & accessory options they have are pretty decent! heartening is a great austin find, i would recommend to anybody who is in need of decent quality clothing for a very very decent price.

Trying to find this place is like trying to gain entry to an illegal basement speakeasy. There is no sign that I can see outside, it's just a door near the rear of a building. The entryway is known as the premium room where you will find all the more expensive clothes and accessories. This place is manned by volunteers which keeps the price of the goods down. The space consists of one long hallway packed to the ceiling with clothes and shoes. The two aisles are pretty narrow as well. What you will NOT find here are toys, electronics, books and housewares. At the rear are two curtained off dressing rooms. If you're looking for some decent quality uber cheap clothes or shoes, this place should definitely be on your radar. Two other notes of interest, there's only about a dozen parking spaces and for some reason when you check out with a credit card, you'll face the tip screen. Plenty of informative photos and video to get you through the door.

And they tend to be a little "priced for the tourists". So have never gotten anything. Several months ago I happened to read a post on a car forum I belong to that mentioned Tinys. It said they were great....so we figured that we would pop in. It lives up to its name..its tiny! Its been in business since 1958, and I believe I read the current owners have been operating it at least 20 years. We walked in and were immediately greeted and told just to ask if we needed anything. We looked around at the products on display then I spotted it..... A hat I liked the look of!!!! I tried on the display one, the lady said to me...that looks.nice but you need a 7 one. Let me get you one to try. Now bear in mind she was at least 20 feet away......she got the appropriate size and opened the box and handed it to me. I popped it on and looked and behold, it was a perfect fit. SOLD! My wife then spotted one she liked.....we did a repeat of my experience and......SOLD...... 2 hats for basically the price of 1 at one of the Congress stores. Absolutely wonderful experience, amazing amount of stock....and tiny. Go visit, buy a hat, or a shirt or some boots. You won't regret it.

I'm not from Austin, or Texas for that matter. This store is tucked away and kind of looks sketchy on the outside. Inside they have much more variety of hats, boots and clothes! I found the hat I wanted but not in the size I was supposedly was (got measured in Allen's and he was wrong). The owner was super helpful and despite her having to downsize twice to grab me the hat I wanted, she came up with an alternative. It was on the pricier side compared to the other one, but this one was definitely better quality. The shape of it wasn't the same as the one I wanted but she told me she could shape it for me and lo and behold I got the hat I wanted in better quality! :)

However, this time was a lot different and I was able to find the perfect gifts for my friend's birthday as well as fun items for myself. It seems like the selection has remained the same although Atown is keeping up with current and modern trends. For example, there were a lot of ICE based items tucked away as well as current celebrity crushes who are on everybody's minds. The coolest thing I found was a James Talarico candle but other than that, a lot of the items that were for sale were pretty kitschy and I believe they are the same wholesale items I have seen before. I must shoutout the incredibly helpful service from Audrey who went above and beyond to help me find items for my friend's birthday. She was super sweet, and I would've been wandering around the store aimlessly if it wasn't for her direction. Additionally, she even came up with combination gift ideas which was pretty sick. Atown is lucky to have her! I think my PTSD is no longer because of her assistance. Great store, unfortunately high prices. However, no one does it like Atown!

There are 3 or 4 separate areas you can visit and they have things from locally made earrings and art to coasters, desk plates, rubber ducks of famous people, religious candles with random famous people, funny socks, clothes, and so much more. The staff is friendly and outgoing, they even had a woman at the door greeting you and offering you a hand basket if you wanted or needed one. There were 3 or 4 cashiers and at least one lady walking around greeting you and seeing if they could help. It is pricier then your chain store but the products are cooler, unique, and many times locally made. Things you can't get at other stores or amazon. Like so many places, it's one downside is parking. It is a small lot, if you part in front you basically have to back in to spot blocking traffic or back out into traffic. There is a small side lot that is better but you basically have to 3 point turn out of that spot. Always willing to pay a bit more to support local. We don't get out of our area/comfort zone much but we do love this place. #Supportlocal

It's like a Petticoat Fair for nursing bras. I initially purchased three nursing bras while pregnant. Postpartum, my husband came back multiple times to purchase accessories for my Spectra pump. I paid $45 to get fitted for flanges with Susan. I thought it was helpful. While they didn't carry the size Susan had recommended, I did order them on Amazon. The fitting was helpful as Susan recommended the Pano shape by Maymom. The size Susan recommended was 2 mm too small, so I ended up ordering a larger size on Amazon. You can go +/- 1 to 3 mm on flanges. I also bought a new cover for a My Brest Friend pillow I received on Buy Nothing. This is a great maternity and postpartum store to visit.

The sales gal was SUPER helpful and attentive, too, which was great. I'm hoping that next month maybe they'll have more color options (why are the majority of maternity clothes gray???).

I was looking for a popular brand of shoes that had recently come in a slide with a floral design. I had prepaid for them, so I was there to pick them. While I was there, I looked at a few other sandals and also bought a very nice pair of navy blue with a bit of navy blue sparkle on that sandal part. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized the sandals that I purchased online would not fit me. I don't know what I was thinking because slides never do fit my wide foot. I guess I thought they were more like flip-flops but my bad I didn't even open and checked them out while I was at the store. I'm hoping to be able to return them. I did meet the manager and will re-contact him when I get home, but I have no phone service at this time as I am out of the country. I'm very hopeful. I can get the very least due and exchange and apply the amount I paid toward a different style of shoe. There were a huge amount of different shoe design and the sizes were a very good range. I would hazardous that they have a shoe that would fit almost anybody. More more later when I get home from my vacation! More to come-
