The staff was super rude! We walked in and just got stared at. I thought Texans were friendly. Not here.

Great little shop with a collection of western boot and clothes, including some that I have never seen elsewhere.

Such an adorable shop to find vintage pieces. The outside is very pretty, as is the inside, and the…read morename Sassy Threads fits the store's clothing style perfectly. I felt so sassy and flirty!! I had been driving around for a while searching for some really beautiful vintage dresses and shoes. But I found so much more here, including the dresses I was looking for and some really pretty shoes that look like they're from the '80s. I walked the whole store, and it can be dangerous for my wallet, but in my world, fashion is a must! So let's live on the edge. I really enjoyed the service; the guy let me browse and looked in the mirror a hundred times. He didnt think I was a weirdo. But the items here are so beautiful, the store is so gorgeous, and there's just so much to see; I couldn't rush it. So tomorrow I will go back and retrieve my items and some more. So I'm so slow. Now I'm thinking of every item I admired. Now some of the dresses I saw and other stuff. Wait a second, I must tell you they have a hell of a men's section. I saw some things for my brother, especially a coat; he lives in Toledo, Ohio. On my way out, I saw a pair of boots for me. I saw a few handbags; I'm sure one was from the Roaring '20s. One could most definitely have been from the seventies. All these beautiful pieces were at such a great price. So if you're like me, who loves fashion from all eras, this is the gem!

In addition, there are a few pairs of shoes being sold in the store as well. The store has a light and airy persona. The clothing was chic yet practical. The clothing ranged from pieces that might be of interest to Generation X or Y's to Baby Boomers. Mazúr Boutique also had a few shoes for sale as well. It was delightful to see the Longhorns (University of Texas at Austin mascot...in the house) prominently displayed on some of the children's clothing. Given that Mazúr Boutique co-exists with Mazúr Coffee, you can have a cup of coffee and shop or shop and have a cup of coffee...your choice. These are two complementary businesses housed under the same roof. In addition, there is free parking in front of the building as well as along side of the building for your convenience. The boutique representative was very friendly and offered me suggestions when I told her what I was looking for. Items are reasonable price and they are also having a sale. I like the whole retail and coffee therapy vibe!

Unfortunately, the prices are a little steep and I'm not sure how extensive their size range is -- it seems tailored/targeted towards slimmer/less full-figured women.

I popped into the first store, Kindred Spirits. It could be described as store that makes you feel at home. There is a pleasant aroma in store as you enter...very comforting and inviting. They have quality goods. I liked that the clothing were spaciously hung on the racks. Interestingly, nothing of their clothing had bright colors, which are my personal favorites. I did enjoy perusing the store. In this boutique you can find a variety goods tops (long-sleeved, short-sleeved and cropped tops), jackets, dresses, skirts and accessories. The clothing are not fad-like with a very conservative feel. You will be able to wear these clothes for years and decades to come. Importantly, they are focused on environmental sustainability and social responsibility Similarly, the prices are a bit more for these clothing than the average boutique. However, you investing in the Austin community. The sales associate was very helpful and friendly. I learned that this is a locally-owned, woman-owned business. Very pleasant shopping experience...

You can shop for anything here, from socks and sunglasses to tops, skirts, dresses, etc. The items are quality, timeless pieces that wear well. The prices mean not having to pay to replace something a few months or a year later. You can buy clothing here and it will still be fashionable and like new 5 years later (with proper care, too, of course). A chic boutique that understands the importance of keeping the planet safe while staying relevant with fashion choices. Employees are kind and take the time to find what works for individuals rather than just trying to make a sale.
