Absolutely loved my wedding dress! I got it for a great price and the woman helping me was very patient and understanding of my concerns.

I had the best experience at Second Summer Bride! Katelynn was the biggest help in finding my dream dress! Their prices are totally reasonable for designer gowns and their selection is incredible. When you buy your gown here, you leave with it that day! I can't say enough good things about Second Summer Bride! I'm so so excited to walk down the aisle

TL;DR Second Summer Bride is a perfect place to get your wedding dress This place is amazing! I'm not stick thin, as you can see, so finding a dress that was going to make me feel beautiful and not like a sausage casing was going to be a hunt. Oh, and I had a smaller budget. I also loved the idea of my wedding dress being "green." We did a destination wedding, so it was important that the dress could be taken on a plane. I had read some reviews here about Second Summer and my mom was coming into town to dress shop with me. We went to Second Summer first, and the experience was out of this world. They had dresses that I could fit into that didn't look dumpy, it wasn't a madhouse like you see in David's Bridal, and my consultant was respectful, helpful, and generally wonderful. We tried on about 3-4 dresses, and really loved one, but I wanted to try on a couple more and think on it. We went to our David's Bridal appointment, but nothing stood up to the dress at Second Summer. So we went back and got it! Please, if you are a bride in Austin, check this place out, you will be glad you did.

The the veil I bought at Second Summer Bridal. It looked awesome with my dress!

I was very close to getting my wedding dress from this store, but I ended up getting it from another bridal store. The selection is awesome and the staff was very helpful when I went there a while back. I actually bought my veil at Second Summer. I loved it and wore it most of the day on my wedding day. It cost me less than half of what a new veil would have cost me.

    Lots of lace options.

However, this time was a lot different and I was able to find the perfect gifts for my friend's birthday as well as fun items for myself. It seems like the selection has remained the same although Atown is keeping up with current and modern trends. For example, there were a lot of ICE based items tucked away as well as current celebrity crushes who are on everybody's minds. The coolest thing I found was a James Talarico candle but other than that, a lot of the items that were for sale were pretty kitschy and I believe they are the same wholesale items I have seen before. I must shoutout the incredibly helpful service from Audrey who went above and beyond to help me find items for my friend's birthday. She was super sweet, and I would've been wandering around the store aimlessly if it wasn't for her direction. Additionally, she even came up with combination gift ideas which was pretty sick. Atown is lucky to have her! I think my PTSD is no longer because of her assistance. Great store, unfortunately high prices. However, no one does it like Atown!

There are 3 or 4 separate areas you can visit and they have things from locally made earrings and art to coasters, desk plates, rubber ducks of famous people, religious candles with random famous people, funny socks, clothes, and so much more. The staff is friendly and outgoing, they even had a woman at the door greeting you and offering you a hand basket if you wanted or needed one. There were 3 or 4 cashiers and at least one lady walking around greeting you and seeing if they could help. It is pricier then your chain store but the products are cooler, unique, and many times locally made. Things you can't get at other stores or amazon. Like so many places, it's one downside is parking. It is a small lot, if you part in front you basically have to back in to spot blocking traffic or back out into traffic. There is a small side lot that is better but you basically have to 3 point turn out of that spot. Always willing to pay a bit more to support local. We don't get out of our area/comfort zone much but we do love this place. #Supportlocal

The dresses are all handmade and artisanal or whatever, but this five-star review is for the amenities. First of all, the panhandlers who love to harass and congregate outside the CVS haven't followed me into the store here, so the hobo shielding is strong with this one. The seating arrangement is also exquisite--the perfect iPhone Throne for, let's face it, probably dudes like me who wouldn't have come here on their own accord. Since it's a single-seater (with an ottoman!), the capacity is far more limited than the long bench at Outdoor Voices, so if you and I end up here at the same time, we'll need to fight for it. No face shots, please, and leave my Yelpin' hand be.

The dresses mostly run over $100 and aren't exactly my style. The prints are mostly fun and colorful and almost 60s-70s ish. I found their sterling silver jewelry and earrings to be more interesting. They had lots of unique flower shaped earrings that ranged around $32-44. They also sell kids clothes and gifts. The interior was a little dark. The dresses were mostly made of stretchy or comfy fabric. The dresses are more casual in nature (wrap dresses, summer dresses). They also sold bathing suits for around $80. I don't know if the bathing suits are made in-house.

This was the perfect spot for anyone who loves fashion with a bit of spice. Prices are in a rather broad range - from inexpensive amount to a bit pricey.
