This was my first stop for my 2018 wedding. They have such a wide variety of styles that aren't mainstream and fit every person's style. The associate who helped me was so sweet and wonderful it was like an old friend was fitting me. The store lets your bring your own mimosas and the atmosphere is just super relaxed and fun. I found my dream dress immediately, but told myself I'd check out a few other places. I felt no pressure that I was leaving without purchasing anything (even though I knew I'd be back). A few weeks later I returned (with an appointment again) to try on my dream dress one last time after no other place from Austin to San Antonio matched what I wanted. I had the same wonderful associate (wish I remembered her name..just knew she was from PA near where my dad grew up). Same wonderful experience and I was able to say yes to the dress! I still can't dote on this place enough. The dresses are gorgeous and plenty (I know- the place seems too small to have a large selection, but trust me!). They also have a sale section, so keep an eye out. If I need a fancy dress for an event I will definitely stop in here- everything was so awesome and the price was reasonable. The only thing I would change is I would use their recommendation for alterations instead of someone I used who did it from home..and was not a professional. I got my wedding dress from Unbridaled a year ago, and I'm just now thinking to leave a review after life circumstances the past year. Unfortunately, I don't fully recommend them after my wedding dress was ordered too small. I was shocked when I went in to pick it up and try it on, as the back couldn't even zip fully without be sucking in my breath. I am petite and my body didn't change at all between choosing the dress and picking it up. I did have to get the zipper lowered in the back to make it easier for me to wear, and really unfortunately, the beautiful sheer skirt that comes detached from the dress was not able to be buttoned on me so I was never able to wear it on my wedding day (it wouldn't be let out at the seamstresses). The company took my measurements again when the dress came in, hoping to reassure me that they took the correct measurements, but they told me I was between sizes and it's policy to size down in that case. Because they did this, I barely fit into my beautiful dress, couldn't wear the flowy skirt at all (which was the reason I chose the dress), and was uncomfortable on my wedding. They did not admit fault and didn't help with seamstress fees, which I would understand if the dress was too big, but in this case they definitely decided wrong in sizing my dress down when I ordered it. I hope that my experience isn't the norm, but I wanted to share it anyways. read more

We had an appointment and it was during pandemic time so I felt comfortable here with the amount of people that were in the shop. Kelsey helped us with the dresses, and she was very attentive: listening to my budget, style, preferences, and allowed me to try on various styles to see what looks best on my body. Although I did not end up purchasing my dress here, it was such a lovely experience and I recommend it. I made an appointment months ago for a friend (and soon to be bride) that was visiting during ACL weekend one. Ali communicated with me leading up to the appointment, asking for inspo photos which was nice. When we arrived, plenty of parking and probably the first ones there. We were greeted quickly by Kelsey who let us know we were a few minutes early and that they weren't ready for us so we waited until our appointment time (no big deal!). Kelsey was really awesome -- she was super engaged with my friend, making her feel comfortable and encouraging her to try on dresses she hadn't otherwise shown any interest to. I had a bridal appointment at Unbridaled this week. A team member contacted me the day before the appointment to confirm and note that they had seen the dresses I favorited on their website. I expected to have this person as my consultant for the appointment, but instead my consultant was a different person who had not looked at the dresses I favorited and was unfamiliar with what I was looking for. I had to go through the stock and pull all the dresses myself. I took the effort to go through their online catalog ahead of time and the appointment is only 90 min long, so this was frustrating to me. I noticed some of their dresses were very dingy and had what looked to be spray tan on them. My consultant was a sweet girl but did the bare minimum of getting me into and out of dresses. I did not find my dress at Unbridaled and would not recommend it to a friend. read more

Kelly and the Unbridaled team were incredibly helpful, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire dress purchasing process. Unbridaled was the first bridal shop I had been to, and with little direction on what I was looking for Kelly helped me pull some styles based on pictures and a few non-negotiable notes like "no sparkles". Within the first three dresses that I tried, I knew I had a feeling that I had found the one - but still had 3 other appointments that day. Kelly was super patient and made notes and encouraged me to try a few others on at both Unbridaled and other shops. By the end of the day, after multiple bridal shops and seemingly 100s of dresses, none compared to Unbridaled or 'my dress'. Kelly and the team made it easy for me to come back in that afternoon and try on my dress again, even pairing it with different veils to see the full effect. It is a smaller (adorable) boutique shop, so you get very intentional care and help. But don't let that deter you--they have many, many options. And the options are BEAUTIFUL. This was my second of three bridal stores I visited and honestly the worst of them all. I don't feel like my consultant understood what I was looking for. They mentioned only working there for less than a month, so maybe more experience or training would be needed. As I gave direct feedback with trying on the dresses, it didn't feel received. (Ex: not interested in form fitted dresses, but being given even more form fitted dresses, same with long sleeves, etc). While asked, I mentioned my budget being around $1000, figuring they would show dresses slightly above. However, my consultant kept pulling dresses that were ~$200-300 off the clearance rack, that had broken straps, ripped trains, stained from spray tans, etc. I appreciate the offers to be under budget, however it felt embarrassing to only be offered broken dresses. I've seen other friends purchase dresses here that were beautiful, however I feel like the dresses selected for me were all super small off the rack and broken. The dresses we looked at on the floor definitely had the most unique options of all the stores. I just wish I would've been shown more appropriate options. On the plus side, it truly did help me realize what I was definitely looking for...or not looking for. Also the curtain in the dressing room could've used clips to help feel it together so my support people weren't staring at my undressed self. A basket for the brides street clothes to stay off the floor would've been nice too. I did appreciate the offer for the water/champagne, but the glasses did not look clean. (Ex lipstick stains). If I was in the market for another dress, I would definitely check out different spots. Parking was available during a weekday when I visited. The dresses shown to me looked nothing like the pictures posted from others. So much potential, I just don't feel like I was shown what they truly can offer. Antonia was so sweet and wonderful! However the manager Ally put quite a damper on the day with her attitude. We came in 10 minutes late for our apt- absolutely our fault. The apt before us was running late, so everyone was directed to "browse and select dresses for the bride" while waiting on our slot to be available. 15 minutes or so later, the manager snapped at one of our girls to not touch any of the dresses and to let them pick them for us. I understand these rules 100%! However giving an attitude to an entire group for simply following directions on such a special day is ridiculous. Would not go back or suggest this location. On Thursdays, the shop is opened later so it's nice if you're working. Lisa was amazing and so accommodating! I was there as support for the bride-to-be. We walked through the aisles to check out all the dresses and Lisa would bring the ones that the bride noticed into the fitting room. Lisa knows about the designers and dresses so well that if the bride liked one aspect of the dress, she knew where to find a dress that was similar but different. It wasn't awkward to take photos of the bride in the dresses. Lisa would also suggest for the bride to walk around and feel the flow of the dress and see how it looks in different mirrors and lighting. There were all accessories to go with the dresses that Lisa was more than happy to talk about and try on. It was a wonderful experience. Not only do they have an amazing selection of styles, they are also affordable and provided me with many options on a very short timeline. Even though I didn't get my wedding dress from here, the customer service I experienced was by far my favorite out of all the wedding dress shops I went to (and believe me, I dragged my bridesmaids to a crazy number of them)! Amber was so kind and accommodating, and listened closely to everything I wanted. Never once was she pushy, and she provided wonderful suggestions that helped narrow down what I like and don't like in my intensive search for "the one". Amber mentioned to me a trunk show going on February that will be held by the designer who made several of the dresses I picked out, which was fantastic to know. I really enjoyed this and looked forward to trying these dresses... but when I showed up for my appointment they didn't have anything from my portal to try on. I had to go back through and pick out dresses I wanted to try straight from the rack. Overall experience was mediocre. Not helpful to have a portal if you can't try on those exact things during your appointment! You are side by side with other brides so it isn't a very intimate experience if you are with your mom or family. I did not find my dress here. I recently heard from the bridal shop that I plan to purchase from in Philadelphia that though they reached out to many of their contacts they weren't able to get a sample size dress that was larger than an 8 and I'm a size 14. On a whim I called this bridal shop as I was traveling in Austin and asked whether or not they had the dress that I was looking for in a size larger than 8 and wow these ladies really delivered. I tried on dresses at several other Austin area boutiques and wedding dress stores and everything I was trying on was overpriced and/or bland. OR the service was terrible! The stores with the inexpensive gowns were...dare I say ratchet. And the staff members in the stores with the Pinterest replicas were bougie! I was literally so discouraged in my wedding dress search that I was at the point of googling 'white prom dresses' and 'quinceanera dresses.' Yes the struggle was THAT REAL! LOL! Then I received an email newsletter from Unbridaled about a sample sale. I called them and they explained to me that meant 70%+ off of designers they were no longer planning on carrying. **PAUSE** Get on that email newsletter list asap via their website ladies!!!! **UNPAUSE** I signed up for the earliest appointment on the sample sale day and literally the first dress I tried on was THE ONE! This shop hands down has provided the best customer service, the best pricing, the best quality, and the best assortment of dresses IN AUSTIN! The ladies at Unbridaled are top notch. I wanted a Jenny Packham dress for my big day so I had to go to Houston to get it. When it came time for accessories I found that many of the vendors in Austin would not even speak to me because I didn't buy my dress from them. That was definitely not the case with Unbridaled. Not only did they end up selling me all of my wedding day accessories, but also belts and jewelry for my other wedding-related events, my mom's dress for the wedding, my veil, my bridesmaid's hair pieces and more. They always acted excited to see me when I came in and they really had good ideas. I was going for an Art Deco vibe and they hit it dead on. Everything they sold me was high quality and if I had something in mind that they didn't have on the showroom floor there would be an email in my inbox with pictures and pricing the moment I got home. Unbridaled is "the cure for the uncommon bride". Fair enough. My soon-to-be sister-in-law (who is most certainly an uncommon bride) would like me to keep my eye out for yellow bridesmaid dresses. With my fashion sense, I don't think this is the best task for me, but I'll do what I can to help. The staff at Unbridaled was quite helpful when I explained my situation, and I might recommend this shop to blushing brides and their subsequent wedding parties (they have mother's dresses, bridesmaids, flower girls). The advantage to this shop is that it's personal. Select almost any dress from their racks and make it the color you need (which is helpful when you are working with yellow...). It most definitely achieves more than a David's Bridal. The disadvantage is the price. Their decent variety of dresses is tainted a bit by the big-tickets. I can't say what their wedding gowns cost, but their bridesmaid dresses were steep. Nevertheless, the woman we spoke with was very nice and took time to show us some different color swatches. Unbridaled offers wedding accessories and fun gifty items (wedding journals, magazines, survival guides). As an added bonus, the business offers wedding planning services, ceremony officiant services ($275), and planning sessions ($50/hr.). The store is open 7 days a week, but Sunday and Monday by appointment only. Unbridaled will help you tie the knot. read more
