We said "YES!" Our consultant, Faith, was incredibly professional and helpful. She read our bride perfectly. The way she showed our bridal sized-4 bride how the sample sized-12 dress could potentially fit helped us truly envision the gown on her. The FIRST veil she showed us was so perfect that we need not see any others. She was patient, kind, and attentive. What could easily have been an overwhelming experience for our quiet, reserved bride, became a cherished memory instead. We know that the dress she chose today will be exactly right for her wedding day, and we could not be more pleased. The dress was right at the right price. We have see more elaborate, flashy bridal salons, but in all of the wedding party fittings we have been a part of, etc, we have never had better service. Had the most unfortunate experience at Belle saison. I bought my dress there 15 months in advance to avoid stress. My dress came in 2 months late. no big deal, I went to go, try it on, and the dress was damaged. The shop agreed to fix the dress, they said it would take a few months. They never updated me on when the dress was going to be ready. I had to call and email in order to get an update. At this point I wasn't very stressed out because we still had months until the wedding. I finally got an update. The store said the dress was fixed, however, it looked even worse than it did originally. At this point they just said they would order a new dress for me entirely. I was totally fine with that. They never gave me an update as to when the dress would be arriving. I called and emailed a few months later to ask when it would be here and they gave me a date. That date came and went and they never reached out to me. I had to call again to get an update. Finally they give me another arrival date, it never came and they again didn't update me. Getting an update from them was like pulling teeth. I finally got pretty frustrated because it had been almost a year since we originally ordered the dress and my wedding was getting very close. I had to tell them if it wasn't here within a few weeks then I didn't want the dress anymore. Magically two days later the dress arrived. I go to try it on, and the dress has the same issue as the first one AND another even more noticeable issue. I was so upset and frustrated at this point because to me, it looks like the same dress but with another issue. I told them at this point that I didn't even want the dress anymore. Itold them to keep it and I just wanted a refund. Obviously they didn't want the dress because no one would buy it full price in that condition. They tried to gaslight me and tell me the dress looked fine when it was very clearly ripped in two places. They would not give me my money Back.I was more than reasonable the months and months I didn't hear back from them I didn't make a scene. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge, which added even more stress on me and made the whole dress shopping experience really unenjoyable. It was supposed to be exciting and it definitely was not. I had to get an entire new dress 3 months from the wedding. My BFF is getting married so the bridesmaids came here for a fitting. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the bridal consultant welcomed us. We browsed the different styles they had to get an idea of the style of dress we wanted. Once we decided on a dress, the consultant measured us and we went up front to order our dress. Pick up was a breeze even during the pandemic. Be sure to wear your mask inside the store. I called the store so they could have my dress ready for me to pick up. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I literally came in this past Wednesday to look for my wedding dress. MY WEDDING DRESS. The girls did meet me and my bridal group with pleasure, but as soon as I said the price range, and also the color of the dress. I do understand looking for a black wedding gown, or one with a little black in it is a little out of the ordinary; BUT, the girl who was helping us completely shut down. She asked for help to find dresses for me the color I wanted but literally offered to help pin me in the dress once I was in it. Never offered to help me in it, one of my bridesmaids helped me through four dresses until she finally said she could help me with the last dress. She wasn't there hyping me up, she seemed awkward, uncomfortable, and uninterested in us being there. I will never be back to this location: I liked two of the dresses I tried on. Off the charts amazing and an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! The salon itself is not fancy and I initially didn't think it was what I was looking for but I WAS WRONG. I went to several bridal salons before this one and this by far had the most relaxed and welcoming feel. I thought the process of finding a dress would be stressful and exhausting but it was the complete opposite. They had a great dress selection and had items in stock that other salons would only stock if I paid for it before they got it in. I've waited years to post this review (8 to be exact) hoping I would get over the hurt and anger Belle Saison caused my daughter and myself- NOPE it hasn't gone away so here goes. The excitement of an engagement and the happiness of helping my daughter shop for her wedding dress was ruined by this store. She found a dress she loved! (more expensive than expected but hey this is my only child). Dress in store was too large so we special ordered one to fit her to perfection. Measurements were taken and dress was ordered. And should I mention dress MUST be paid for in full at order time. Excitement!!! The dress had arrived. I was on a business trip so daughter went to pick up on her own. She could barely get the dress on - too small. What happened? The store took measurements so the dress should have fit perfectly right? WRONG. Before I go on let me preface this with due to a medication change my daughter had lost weigh. Our concern of dress being too large was wasted. My daughter was devastated, and understandably upset. The owner, Debra Taggert, told my daughter she had gotten fat (literally said "fat) because their measurements were NOT wrong. My daughter took the dress home in tears. Once I returned from my trip, I measured the dress, measured my daughter, looked up the manufacturer's size table and determined the wrong size had been ordered. I emailed the Debra Taggart and asked for a meeting - she refused to meet with me. So I drove 90 miles to the store and found her. We discussed the dress, measurements etc, she never did admit making a mistake. She did however recommend a seamstress to alter the dress. Another mistake (on my part) BIG MISTAKE taking her advise. We took the dress to the seamstress, had it altered and once finished returned to try it on - it was terrible. Did not fit at all and had a completely different look. So where do we go from here? My experience with Belle Saison have been very pleasant. During my appointment, our consultant, Amy, was very helpful in finding the right dress for me and for my body type. I was able to get an idea of what I want through my own research, but Amy's recommendations made it very easy to lock down the dress for me. I ended up going with an off shoulder ball gown dress, which was perfect for our wedding day. My dress was absolutely stunning and I enjoyed every minute wearing it! The overall experience with Belle Saison have been very good from dress shopping to getting the dress prepped for the big day. This was the first place I visited to look for a wedding dress. The appointment from start to finish was so wonderful! Iliana helped us and I absolutely loved her! She could really tell what I was looking for early on and picked one of the dresses I really liked. I had two dresses that were the top two contenders and will possibly go back for one of them. I am the type of person who needs to leave and if I can't stop thinking about it go back and buy it. A lot of the dresses they have can be altered and customized which is super awesome. After visiting the second place, I liked Belle Saison even more. The girl at the other store acted like we couldn't look around the store and was a little pushy, after I said I wanted to sleep on it she asked me if I wanted to come back for measurements the next day? I guess I should have been more clear on how long I needed to sleep on it.... Belle Saison was the complete opposite, they literally let you know everything they have in the store and you get to look around and pick out what you want to try and go from there. They also give you a card afterward to let you know what you liked and then you go back for measurements when you want I assume. They were not pushy at all and in an important decision like spending $2K on a dress, your wedding dress, you only get one time to pick, I GREATLY APPRECIATED THAT. This bridal salon was the fourth I visited in one weekend with two of my bridesmaids. Their selection of dresses was smaller than some of the other shops, and the inside seemed a bit stuffy, but they still had many styles in my price point and were able to show me a few dresses that matched exactly what I was looking for. Faith was my consultant, and she was ah-mazing. My friends and I loved her!!! Not only was she kind, considerate, and patient, but with just a brief description of the look I was going for, she went out and pulled five gorgeous dresses. Now, here's the tough part, I had just come from a store where I found "the dress", but I am a Gemini and a scientist, so I still needed to go to my other appointments to make sure I ruled out all other possibilities. I was up front and honest with Faith about this, and she was still happy to help me. At the end of the appointment, she was encouraging and instead of trying to push me into a dress I didn't love, she told me to go back and buy the dress that gave me that "bride" feeling. I found my dream gown for a good price Belle Saison has TONS of dresses in all different styles and all for reasonable prices. The reason I did not give 5/5 is because communication wasn't the best and I wish the staff were more excited for me. I understand they deal with brides every day as their job but it was only me and my mom because my bridesmaids are in other states so it would have been really nice to have some more excitement from the staff. Again, I know they do this every day but I've never been married before so I don't know what to expect as far as timeframes, what to expect next, alterations, etc. I was shocked and really unhappy when I picked my dress up and they told me to go get alterations. I was under the impression that was included in the dress costs but it wasn't and cost me another $961 that I wasn't prepared for. So, my first appointment here was last summer. It was marvelous! Great exceeded my expectations! Through and through it was amazing. I tried on some dresses and from that selection my consultant Iliana picked a few dresses. Which all ended up far better then the dresses we selected. She is amazing, wonderful, sweet, thoughtful and warm. I even went out of my way to tell a friend to go here.. well after today I'm regretting that. My dress arrived and I went to try it on today. It's about an inch short to be honest not the salons fault. Total accident. A dress in the correct size is being ordered. Here's my experience and why I'm slightly pissed off... it's COVID-19.. I had an appointment today I walk in with my mom exactly on time.. my greeting wasn't warm. As soon as I came in they asked if they could help me. I said I have an appointment at 11. What's your name.... well, my name is a little confusing I have a couple of them. I wasn't sure what name I gave them... I was however the only person in the store the entire hour I was there... my guess is I was the only appointment scheduled at that time? Anyway... so my dress is too short no big deal. I come out and AMY (god awful girl) starts measuring my dress while it's on.. I told her I don't remember them measuring from there. AMY def thought she had to correct or add a two cents in to anything I said... she was RUDE. I'm clearly not upset about my dress being to short! I have plenty of time. I was just saying I don't remember them measuring from that point.. I also said the sample train I tried on seemed much longer could it be it was a larger size from this one ordered many sizes smaller? No no the train is the exact size you tried on. Lol she was nasty.... so she gets her measurements and before I head to take my dress off. I asked if they had any flowers I could see what colors match my ANTIQUE colored dress. It's not white, off white, it's Antique... kind of a brownish champagne color. She told me they didn't have any colored bouquets around the store and any colors would match... I did see a bouquet around the corner in a deep red. Another somewhere else in blue another in purple and a coral... but I guess she didn't want to grab them? Right before heading to the dressing room I mentioned to my mom I wanted to try on a flower crown and see if it matched also... I told her a friend told me my dress was to classic for a flower crown which would be more boho... AMY told me they don't have those either... I do remember her saying right before I took my dress off that its neutral whatever my colors are would work... I tried to tell her I was doing black bridesmaids and just wanted help decided on colors for the flowers.... she truthfully cut me off mid sentence and I never finished the statement. We bought a veil... and as I was leaving I saw two flower crowns on the rack on the way out..... I am not sure if Amy didn't want to waste her time with us because the first girl got the commission or what her deal was. But she was absolutely horrible! HORRIBLE either she didn't want to help because of a commission thing or she is lazy I'm not sure but I guess this place is like depends on who you get.... I found the perfect dress, and wanted to add sleeves- she figured out a way to allow me to see the dress with sleeves and it was stunning! The moment I walked in, the first thinking I was asked was my budget. The employee proceeded to give me 6 rings and told me to pick out 6 dresses. About 5-10 min went by and I had only choose 2 dresses and she came up and said "okay, let's get this show on the road". I felt very rushed. I went to try on the 1st dress and didn't really like the way it fit and obviously it was long on since I'm only 5'2 I made a comment and her response was "you're just short, it's obviously need to be hemmed". After I tried on the first dress and after all the attitude I got from the employee, I chose not to try anymore on and just leave. I called on a weekday and was told to just come on in. My consultant was really nice, relaxed, and fun to work with. She listened, got on board with the less traditional/funky vibe I was hoping for, and she never did the creepy thing where the consultant keeps asking if you're going to cry yet, and then putting more accessories on you hoping to make you have a Magical Bridal Moment. (I'm looking at you, Alfred Angelo...) I'm a plus size bride, and while they had plenty of samples in plus sizes (including mine), the selection wasn't that big or diverse. They had a ton of stuff in Misses sizes that I liked, but I don't want to order a dress I can't try on. The only reason they're not getting more stars is for not having much in the way of plus size samples. I'm just not going to wait weeks and pay shipping/deposit charges to get to try something on that's a giant "maybe". Service-wise, this was a far, far better experience than anywhere else I went in town. We're coming back here to look for bridesmaids dresses because I really liked the consultant and they had some cute stuff. read more

There are so many reasons to love being a bridesmaid. First, there's all the money you get to spend on someone else's "special day"--for presents, plane tickets, hotel rooms, bachelorette parties, etc. Then there's the hours spent trying to smile for photo after photo while your dyed-to-match shoes are permanently disfiguring your toes. And finally, of course, there's the dress. The dress that every bride tells you she just knows you'll be able to wear again but that hangs in the back of your closet gathering dust. Another fun thing about being a bridesmaid? Going to try on dresses when you're in a different city from the bride. The salespeople know they're not getting a sale--because the bride typically orders the bridesmaid dresses from the same shop where she got her dress--and wow, can they be unhelpful. Thankfully, that was not the case at Belle Saison. I'm going to be in my seventh wedding in a few months (it's almost a hobby by now), and I went there recently to try on a dress the bride had picked out to see if I liked it. I walked in and told the saleswoman what I needed, expecting a dismissive wave accompanied by a "They're over there" grunt, but instead, she walked me over to where the chosen designer's dresses were stocked. When we discovered that they didn't carry my particular dress, she suggested I try on a similar one by another designer so I could see how the style fit me. Impressive. They also seemed to have a pretty good selection of dresses for bridesmaids and brides. I'd definitely include this place on your list of shops to hit if you're looking for a dress. I had a great saleswoman help me, who ironically moved away, but then moved back and got a job at a jewelry store, so I ran into her again when looking for my wedding band! Anyway, they have these package deals, where you buy the dress, and then you get ridiculously discounted shoes ($3, I think, they were?), get a free tiara (up to $98), and a discount off your veil and other bridal accoutrement. That alone made it feel a lot better when I spent a bajillion dollars on the only couture outfit I'll ever wear. read more

My fiancee and her maid of honor went here and thought that the lady Kim was less than helpful. During their scheduled "appointment" Kim felt that it was okay to have scheduled two other appointments at the same time and hardly paid any attention to my fiancee. My fiancee expected that it would be a one on one consultation (which it wasn't) and that the service was lacking due to absence of advice, enthusiasm and mostly that Kim didn't offer to pick any dresses for her. In my opinion they didn't do a good job of making her upcoming wedding feel all that special. I went to Belle Saison on Thursday Jan 8 at about 2pm. I went because I found a dress on the knot and it stated the only retailer that carried Jacqueline Exclusive was Belle Saison. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Elizabeth. They politely asked me what I was looking for and I said "Tulle." They directed me to the tulle and let me be. After looking through the Tulle selection, I approached them to inquire about ordering the dress I saw on theknot. They explained the process of ordering and made it clear to me that if I ordered it, it was mine. Being a little hesitant I asked them if they had any dresses there that would be similar to the one I wanted to order. We walked the tulle selection and didnt see anything. THEN Elizabeth suggested we look in the "Prom" room. Right away I saw a dress that I wanted to try on. I asked her if I could try it on and she was more than happy to let me. It was a Maggie Sottero gown and just gorgeous! Elizabeth helped me get dressed from top to bottom: lacing the corsett, slipping my heels on, etc. She was just absolutely great! And the dress fit perfect! Elizabeth listened to me, was joking with me, and was just very personable. She really made me feel like she was one of MY bridesmaids that had came with me :) She gave me the phone number of a seamstress to contact for cheap reasonalbe alterations. (Don't really recommend the seamstress for altering dresses into sweetheart styles). She even provided me with email, phone number, and directions for the Antique Mall, so I could buy a brooch to adorn my new dress. Elizabeth just completely went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Elizabeth explained because it was a "floor model" i would be getting an extra 20% off. Now I'm not sure if Maggie dropped the price of this dress so low or Belle Saison did, but I got a STEAL!!! I'm not really sure what there is to complain about when it comes to WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING!! I mean, how can you not love a store with lots of beautiful white gowns in all levels of poofs, glitter and loveliness. (And just so you don't think I walked in and was just won over by the thrill of wedding dress shopping...in total I went wedding dress shopping 10 DIFFERENT TIMES, in 3 DIFFERENT CITIES, and in about 8 DIFFERENT STORES. I know, I'm crazy and need help.) In the grand scheme of bridal dresses (Davids Bridal to Monique Lhullier), I'd say that Belle Saison is your best bet for a more budget friendly dress, that's higher quality. (As in, there will be boning in your dress and you're not going to HAVE to get all the undergarments just to make the dress look better...which is what I feel like you have to do for Davids Bridal dresses). They have a large selection of dresses and you can get a pretty accurate idea of what they carry by looking at their website. (I am all about online shopping!). I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but was very open to trying on other styles. So, Belle Saison definitely had enough variety and stock to make my visit totally worth it. Another big plus for me is that the sales associates were NOT too pushy. During my first visit, my sales lady was very open to letting me try on anything that I wanted and patiently helped me in and out of about 10 of the same styled dress. (This was a weekday, so she was the only one manning the floor and was helping another bride at the same time.) In between my first and second visit, I did not receive follow up sales calls to pester me...unlike some other bridal shops. When I came back to check out a completely different style of dress...and ultimately the one I choose, the same sales lady helped me out again and really worked with us to find a dress in my budget. She didn't try and pressure me into purchasing dresses just because and all of the staff seemed genuinely excited for me when I finally did purchase a dress! read more

I visited Belle Saison a few weeks ago to look at bridesmaid dresses for my sisters wedding. I had an appointment as they are recommended on weekends. I brought a list of dresses, including style number, the bride wanted us to try so the sales associate wouldn't have trouble finding them. Not only did it take her over 20 minutes to pull a couple of the dresses, but she kept disappearing instead of finding the rest of the dresses. At one point, she came to the dressing room while finishing eating a snack! Very unprofessional and not helpful at all. The shop was not overly crowded when we visited, but the service left a lot to be desired. I did not feel comfortable ordering dresses from this store and am glad we decided to go with another local shop. read more

A shop full of the usual suspects. Ok so the selection is hardly inspired but points go to arranging the dresses in styles and shapes.. great for me as I could completely avoid wasting my time searching through racks and racks of ball dresses! There is only one size for each sample dress however most dresses are in a size 10 or 12 (a 6 or 8 in street sizes) so most girls should be able to get a good idea of how the dress would look.... and they have an arsenal of clips and pins to help. A good place to go if you want to package your dress, shoes, veil etc as they will do a good deal. They also have a good selection of bridesmaids dresses. read more

Worst. Bridal. Gown. Shopping. Experience. Ever!!! Stay away if you are looking for a pleasant experience and/or to be treated respectfully! I arrived for my appointment a little early so I could spend some time browsing around the store. After a few minutes, Kim approached us, introduced herself, and told us A) that the dresses were organized by style, and B) that there was only one size for each dress. She told us to browse around, pick out things we liked, and then she'd show me to a fitting room. So, we browsed a little and found some dresses I considered trying on- nothing that truly "WOWwed" me, though. I looked for sizes on each dress, but NO dresses had a size tag, so I figured I'd just hold them up in the back if they didn't exactly fit. Boy, was I wrong. First, I tried 7 gowns on that probably would have looked nice... if they had even come close to zipping, I would have had a much better idea. That was beyond frustrating. Finally, I tried on a gown that somewhat fit, so I went out to show my family. It was only then, that Kim asked me how I liked the dress. I mentioned that I was frustrated that none of the 7 previous dresses were anywhere close to my size. With an attitude, she said, "Well, you only picked 'yellow tag' dresses, and those are 4s and 6s". If she had told me that information 30 minutes ago, it would have been A LITTLE HELPFUL, to say the least! I would have chosen dresses in my size, and possibly found something I liked. But no... now I had a bad attitude and wanted to get outta there fast. Kim insisted I try on several dresses that she picked out (that I did not care for), and sure enough, they did not look good on me. Need I also mention that when we were actually looking for Kim to help me (I needed to clip up the dress straps to see what it would look like), she was helping ANOTHER bride?! Luckily, a very helpful consultant stopped by me and offered to clip up my straps. I thanked her sincerely for noticing I needed help and told her how much I appreciated her attentiveness, since my assigned consultant was busy with another customer during my appointment. We finally left, after less than an hour in the store, and we were all relieved to be out of there. Thank goodness I'd made a morning appointment at Alfred Angelo, where I had a wonderful experience, to know that my horrible experience at Belle Saison was not just me. ***Not reviewing for wedding dresses.*** I ended up here on accident b/c I thought Alfred Angelo was still here, and I wanted to drag my friend visiting from NY but getting married here in Austin, into a bridal salon to try on veils. Because she has her dress, and thought she didn't want a veil, and, well, I just wanted to make sure she was confident in her sans-veil decision. Unfortunately, they didn't have much in terms of an informal/short veil selection (our goal) -- But they did have veils galore for 1-tier and 2-tier, waist-length + longer, especially with all kinds of edging. Like seriously, at least 40. Maybe 60. Okay, maybe not, that seems like an awful lot. But really, who knew there could be so many veils? But no single simple veils. No blushers. (Are those out?) *But* -- they did have a couple alternative-styles -- 2 birdcage-style veils (one in russian netting and one in an almost-illusion style tulle) and a bandeau-style veil. ROCKfest for me, since I've been eyeing those things for my own vow-renewal (what can I say, ulterior motives for dragging my friend to a bridal salon? check.) AND they had either 3 or 5 fascinators to try on too -- one that ended up being *perfect* for my friend. Okay, that's not a wide selection, but when you find the perfect one, it's tough not to be biased. And, I feel like it's enough to let an ordinary girl open her eyes a bit, and perhaps look elsewhere. I thought $90+ was a little steep, but I tried to search online (i'm a huge fan of etsy.com), and couldn't find anything comparable. Wow. But what really earns the 4 stars is the service. We didn't need super attentive, we needed kind of free reign to sample and try on ourselves. Kim was fab in bringing out what we needed, and being real with us in terms of what worked and what didn't for each of us. And Leanna (?) at the front was super friendly, too, and recommended a couple other things to us. I just super-dug their laid back approach, that wasn't pushing anything on us. Maybe that wouldn't work out if we were trying on dresses, say. And my friend T was hoping to find tea-length dresses, perhaps for her reception dress, and not much luck, um, at all. But hey, headpieces or trying on veils? Without sales pressure? Walking in about 1 hour til closing, and not getting any snippy looks or attitude? Highly recommended. read more

I really did not want to go to a bridal machine for my wedding dress. A couple of ladies at worked highly praised Bella Saison and with the high reviews, I decided to give it a try. I made my appointment a little over a month ago and within seconds of walking in the door the day of our appointment, we were greeted and shown to were we would be sitting. Our consultant was Jessica and she was so awesome to work with. While I did have some favorites I pulled off the website, I was slightly disappointed that they did not carry them in store.However, I went in with an open mind and she pulled some great choices. She listened to me and my girls concerns and answered all of our questions. She was also very patient with me and my tendency to be a bit nit picky over what was probably silly for anyone who was not me. The atmosphere was very laid back, very calming and a great way to start the wedding dress shopping. Everyone was very helpful when it came to getting the measurements and checking out. I could not have wished for a better experience! There was a slight issue with my total cost due to it being a tax free weekend and I didn't catch it until the next day. Martha was very apologetic and fixed it over the phone. Great customer service, great ladies! This is the wedding experience you want! read more

SERVICE: Brittany was assigned to me and she is the Senior Bridal Consultant. I'm having a hard time understanding how she could be a Senior, because I had an inadequate experience with her. She gave me the little bells to use to hook onto dresses that I wanted to try on. After I was done, I had to wait for her to go and get the dresses for me bc she didn't have my room ready or have my dresses hanging in the room either. I just stood there as she searched for all my colored bells (which she forgot which color she assigned to me too). Then she didn't help me in the changing room and she didn't stay with me at all. So my friend ended up helping me into and out of the dresses, Brittany never came back to check on us. After I finished the dresses, we walked out to browse a little more and she still did not say anything to us. ENVIRONMENT: There are a lot of selections. I went specifically to check out the Mori Lee and Maggie Sottero collections. There are big mirrors and it appeared that two brides can share the same large mirror. read more

I went to them first for my debutante gown and was helped by Elizabeth. It was a great experience, which is why they are getting two stars. It's been a few months so I don't know exactly who helped me (Brianna?) but she was horrible!! First I told her sort of what I was looking for and then what I did not want. I've been to several events and wanted something different for my big day. When I explained what I did not want, she said,"That's what I was thinking for you, so you should try some on."......What? I picked out all my dresses myself because she didn't have anything in mind that I actually liked. she would suggest and I would tell her what I didn't like about it and she'd pick out dresses with the exact same features. Once I finally tried some dresses on she only liked the ones that were super expensive and specifically told me that she did not like a dress my bridesmaids and I had already said we did like. She was an awful person to work with and I would never recommend her EVER! Her demeanor was rude and trashy. I mean her bra was sticking out of her halter top, gross! read more

I have been to MANY bridal salons for work, looking for dresses for photo shoots. And hands down, Belle Saison Bridal is the friendliest store in Austin. After getting engaged I spoke with a few stores on the phone, dropped in to take a peek and was having a lot of issues finding what I wanted. I was also toying with the idea of having my dress created by a dress maker. But a sales associate told me about Belle Saison, assuring me that they would have the style I wanted within the price range and being a plus size bride I could not wait to see the store. I was helped by Brittany and can I tell you, this girl is AMAZING! She listened and helped me through all my bridal worries. She has dealt with myself and my wedding party on numerous appointments. I was called when my gown came in. We purchased my bridesmaid's dresses there as well, and Brittany has helped me make the best decision each time. From budget to knowledge of other gowns and with color selection. You cannot go wrong with Belle Saison. I cannot wait to pick up my girls dresses! I will miss these girls when I get married! They are all so awesome when seeking advise and just overall positive and super nice! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I am a bridesmaid and the bride selected the dresses and shoes from belle saison. We requested to be called when the dresses and shoes came in. No call. Bride called. Shoes were the wrong size. Requested a phone call when the new shoes came in (before being dyed) since I was concerned the new size would be wrong as well (was pressured into ordering a half size smaller than I wanted) NO CALL AGAIN. After finally calling over and over for a status update, was informed that shoes were in and dyed. Still too small but already dyed. The associate told me they would stretch. So I took them home. They don't stretch. Decided to call and complain since these are the wrong size and we asked over and over to be called before they were dyed. After explaining my issue with an associate I was told the manager would call me back. manager called (deborah) and she was HORRIBLE. Asked me what the issue was then got annoyed with me when I started to explain again. Told me she didnt have time to listen to the whining, just tell her what I want. I told her I want shoes in the RIGHT size by next wed. She said she'd maybe be able to do that and then hung up on me... Wow. That was the MANAGER. Apparently, once the sale is done she does not care about the correctness of the order or customer service. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. read more

I had such a great time shopping for my wedding dress at Belle Saison! They have an excellent inventory of dresses at a variety of price points, but what really drew me there was their stock of Maggie Sottero dresses. For some ungodly reason bridal salons within the same CITY don't carry the same designers, so I was really worried I wouldn't be able to conveniently get to Maggie dresses. But, low and behold, there they were in all their glory! I tried on a bunch of Maggie dresses, and some other designers as well, and I definitely felt like I was able to make an educated decision on the type of style that best fit me. They also had a nice selection of veils and headpieces to try on with the dresses. In the end I was able to find a Maggie dress from the previous season that I had seen online, and since it was an older design it marked down to only $800! It's such a gorgeous, unique dress and I love it to pieces. My shopping experience was also very easy. I had Elizabeth as my consultant and man was she patient with me. I must have gone back 3 or 4 times to try on my dress to show friends and family and she was never too busy to pull it for me. She is such a nice woman and took a hands-off approach, which I appreciated. Sometimes bridal consultants just pull random stuff that THEY like, and I liked that she left me alone to shop for myself. Finally doing actual business with Belle Saison was a breeze. They offered discounts on bridesmaids dresses (which I took advantage of), made recommendations for tailors AND made it easy to have my dress preserved. They even stayed open late when my grandmother (a wedding planner) insisted on going through all of their invitation books. I will definitely recommend them in the future! read more

A higher rating can be achieved provided a) you're a savvy bride who knows all the ins and outs of bridal dress shopping, and b) your consultant is anyone other than Amy. My advice is to definitely read Belle Saison's negative reviews to be prepared and forewarned. Amy pretty much left the party to fend for ourselves. Seemed as though her total contribution to the selection process was to assist the bride trying on the dresses and getting them off. With a dress selected, Amy offered the detail that the dress came with a yard of extra fabric/lace so when it came in if alterations were needed, that material might be used. So we ordered the dress, paid for it, and selected head circlet as well. Upon receipt, the dress beading was unfinished throughout the garment. Opal beads were dangling off the dress. The head piece was the wrong one. And there wasn't any extra fabric. Amy's response? Your seamstress can fix those. (Isn't it the shop's duty to make sure the product is up to par for the customer?) Are you sure this -circlet- isn't the right one? (Not the one in the photograph the day we bought it.) No, why would you think it came with extra fabric? You have to order that and pay extra. That's going to be another 6-8 weeks to get. (After a lengthy discussion while buying the dress, it was stressed the "girls" were invited to the party, but weren't going to be the party. Hence, Amy's initial factoid in the first place...with ZERO mention it would cost extra and ordered separately. In addition to us specifically clarifying it came with the extra fabric/lace.) Amy stated she would never tell customers that. Since we didn't order it, it was our fault. All in all, the dress was worth the price of Amy's worthless customer bedside manner. Previous Yelp reviews that are negative re: Amy should be heeded. Make your appointment with a different bridal consultant. They seemed more attentive to their potential customers. If you're looking for unusual, lace, or embellished dresses, this the place. There are some sleek and sophisticated designs. Prices generally start around $1100. Lots of different designers. Definitely worth a look. Just know the bridal biz so your not caught unawares. But we got a complimentary bottle of champagne ($10) for our patronage ($2000). read more

I purchased my wedding gown from Belle Saison back in March and I have loved my entire experience with this store! I was a little intimidated when we walked in to look at gowns as we were told just to walk around and pick dresses ourselves. Once we had collected about 10, Kim showed me to the fitting room where I tried on 3 that were not right on my body. Kim asked if she could just skip to the dress she knew I would like, I agreed, and then proceeded to put on my dream gown! Kim helped me select a beaded belt to accentuate my waist as well as a gorgeous cathedral length veil with sparkles on it. I LOVE my bridal look! The other associates in the store have been so helpful when I've gone in to pick up my dress for alterations, fittings, pressings, and cleanings - I love this store. I would highly recommend Belle Saison to anyone in the Austin area who is looking for a wedding gown! read more
