I noticed they refunded all but $11 so when I reached out for help, I was told they don't provide full refunds. I didn't even keep a product? What am i paying for? This is not mentioned in their return policy and is incredibly shady. Making profit off people who'd don't even receive decent items. I'll never order again here, what a shame. Despite my anxiety about being a bridesmaid the staff here at David's Bridal really made me feel at ease about the selections I had available for my size, the pricing, and the alteration schedule planned to make me look and feel good about getting a dress here. Scheduling was super easy (online or phone call) and when I arrived for my first appointment to check out styles, pricing, and the color scheme our friend (the bride) wanted I was taken care of. I was super happy to have my own associate who was able to pull dresses for me, make suggestions, and even follow up after I tried on a few with great questions such as when I needed the dress by, what was my budget, etc. Our friends dress fitting (she was the bride) was also enjoyable and painless. All of us bridesmaids were really happy to have a space and have the staff here supporting our friend with looks and size recommendations. Once our friend picked her final dress the staff really made it special by giving us signs to use in our pictures and congratulating us all on such a monumental and special moment of dress picking. The alterations process was simple and I was comfortable with the amount of detail and the attention I received during my appointment. I had so many compliments, at the wedding, on my bridesmaids dress with comments about "oh wow your dress is perfect on you!" which I appreciated. If you are shopping for a Bridesmaid gown (without the bride) do NOT come here! I had a 10:30am appointment and arrived at 10:25am. After I checking in I was told to go wait and they would find my consultant. About 15 minutes later 5-7 other brides and their parties arrived and I still had no help. At about 10:55 I was told a consultant could help me, Rosie. She told me she had another large party and would be in and out. I tried on my 2 dresses and I asked for her to take a picture of 1 of them but she gave me the finger, as if she was stating she was busy. I ended up taking my dress photos myself but turning around and staring into the mirror. Did she care or try to help me? Nope! She just watched. I have never felt so ignored. No one cares about anything but making the sale from the brides they were helping. Also, the dresses were filthy and it was clear that none of them had been cleaned (like ever) because they all smelled super funky. Again, if you are a bride you may have better luck but if you are shopping here for anything other than a bridal appointment, just turn around and walk out. I am so glad we found our dresses at Azazie.com, which had a way better selection at a fraction of the cost! read more

I went in with a big party, and they put chairs near our fitting room's and they asked us if we needed any help. Our helper was Faith and she is awesome. Ask for her! I've been to another David's bridal location & they are rude. This location is friendly, very helpful, & knowledgeable. Faith brought us different sizes and offered to clip the dress if it was too big. We left happy and my step sister picked out our bridesmaids dresses! I had an appointment earlier today(yesterday? 1/17?) at 4:30 to shop for a wedding dress. We were in the area way earlier than anticipated, around 3/3:30, so we stopped in and asked if it was alright if I and my three bridesmaids looked around at their bridesmaids dresses. Specifically at their Galina Signature line. Since there was seemingly no one else shopping in the store, they said that was absolutely fine. Because it wasn't a formal appointment for the bridesmaids, we initially just self guided. But I used to work for the same company. So I know how policy is. And I also know how sales work. I showed my girls the styles I liked and let them browse a bit. A girl named Grace eventually approached us after about ten minutes of browsing and asked if we needed to know ETA's. Not if we needed help, or if we wanted to try things on. But if we needed to know ETA's for purchasing. When I told her we weren't quite there yet, that we hadn't decided on colors or styles yet, she turned around and went back to the front desk. Okay, fine. We browsed for a while longer, narrowed down what we liked and didn't like, and I went up to the desk and asked "hey, I know this wasn't a set appointment, but could my girls try something on? If there isn't time before my appointment at 4:30, I understand. But we'd like to at least get an idea as to how some of these look on." The ladies behind the counter said that was fine. So I went back to my bridesmaids and soon Grace followed. We got the girls into fitting rooms and I was the one bringing dresses over. I was the one bringing size changes over. She took no initiative. She wasn't around. The policy with David's is that even with walk in's, is you treat them like an appointment. And grace acted like we were a burden. Anytime I looked around, she was huffing and puffing at the desk about how inconvenient it was that we were there so close to her clock out time. So finally, the girls all decided that they did not want to purchase from her at all. They would either purchase online, or we would all decide on a completely separate retailer. We still had about fifteen minutes until my 4:30 bridal appointment, but we told Grace that we were done, and ready for the bridal appointment to move forward just to get it over with. I was dreading it being with her. She walks off, and we are told nothing. Not that she will get my stylist, nothing. Ten minutes go by and my bridesmaids, my mother, and I are all checked out at this point. We are angry at the way we have been treated, and now we feel ignored. And so I walk away from the stage/dressing area to take a peek at the front desk and there are the three staff members, including Grace. Huddled with the other two staff. What they were discussing is none of my business. But appearances are everything. After about five more minutes, another woman comes up. Madison. I'd previously met her at a bridal show. Her demeanor was like night and day compared to Grace. She was nice. Kind. Willing to help. And capable. At this point I put on my first dress and heard a commotion of people saying goodbye. It was Grace with her things, leaving for the day. 4:30 on the dot. And because of that, I asked Madison what was wrong with Grace, and why did she feel it necessary to make us feel like a burden when she was the one that said we could try dresses on, and that we had time to shop? Why did I have to act like the dress stylist while she went and complained about us being there at all? To be fair, I was heated and called her F'ing useless. Which, to be doubly fair, she was. Madison apologized on behalf of Grace, which I don't accept. And Madison also said that it would be addressed and that she would be retrained. But knowing how David's trains and how their management works, nothing will happen. But moving on to Madison, who was a much more pleasant experience. She pulled four dresses for me, walked me through each one, how long it would take for them to come in, etc. she showed me veils for dresses when needed, and she was able to read my reactions, mostly. Madison did a lot of damage control in under an hour, but it wasn't enough, unfortunately. And while there were some absolutely beautiful dresses there, I don't think I'll be finding my dream dress there. Maybe my reception dress, though. Also, that building is and the dressing rooms are unbearably hot. read more

This it the second time I went into this store location, years ago I went looking for a dress for a fashion night event downtown and found one but literally couldn't get help with any other dresses and sizes, so I left and got a dress somewhere else, I thought maybe it was an off day or me. Today my fiancé and I walked into the store and walked around to look at some wedding and bridesmaids dresses to see if there were any colors or styles we both liked. I already have a dress in mind I like and wanted to see it in person, not ONE employee acknowledged us or even spoke to us, after 20 minutes of walking around and not one person offering to help or even saying hello, we walked to the front desk where I believe a manager and associate were, they both completely ignored us and walked away. I can see why this company is considering closing all its stores, it's horrible customer service or I guess they will only speak to you if you have an appointment. Three other people walked in during the time we were there in the store and all of them were spoken too and helped. I will buy my products at a company that trains their staff to appreciate its customers because that's what keeps the doors open! read more

Our 'stylist' was horrible. She did NOTHING! She didn't ask any questions, she didn't have any suggestions, she didn't pull any dresses, she didn't help my daughter change. She didn't really speak to us at all, except when our time was almost over. Then she told us we had 18 minutes left. We pulled dresses and about 3/4 of the way through, I told the stylist that we would need some more to try on. She disappeared and I thought she was pulling dresses. Nope. She came back shortly after that and just stood and watched my daughter try on the dresses WE pulled for her. I mentioned again that she needed to try on some more dresses and again she disappeared. This time we saw her at the front chatting with her coworkers instead of pulling dresses. She was not friendly or helpful. It ruined the entire experience for us. Luckily our next stop was Melange Bridal where the experience was wonderful and everything it should have been! Unless you're really hurting for $, I would skip David's Bridal. read more

Outrageous pricing for alterations. I feel they measured me completely off so they could charge me 249 dollars for alterations. I called for 2 weeks to get an appointment and the phone line to the alterations station would hang up on you. When I did get thru, the girl I spoke with said they were fair priced alterations. The lady doing my alterations wanted to charge me a "2 week rush" for the dress even though I'm picking up the dress by appointment 18 days from drop off. They nickel and dime you ever way possible. After checking with other bridesmaids and other alteration places, it's definitely way overpriced. I will never go back. They also make you pay before they even do alterations. Picking a wedding dress was something I was anxious about. Somehow my Consultant Madison found a way to make it such an awesome and comfortable experience. Bringing your crew to help pick the dress is stressful to. Trying to keep everybody happy with your pick, Madison found a way to make sure that the dress I loved was admired by my party too. They let me try a cape with my dress which sent me into tears! The whole team there came and made it special with a bell and so many kind words. They help make me feel beautiful and excited. Is this where wedding dreams go to die? After making an appointment online to try on bridesmaids dresses for my friends upcoming wedding, I arrived 15 minutes early. I also came prepared and picked out the styles that were approved by the Bride. I showed them to the girl that was assisting me and was handed a dress to try on. She led me back to the dressing rooms that were less than to be desired. Dirty painted walls, no bench to sit my belongings on and no one to assist me to zip up my dress. How frustrating! What's the point in making an appointment if you're just left to fend for yourself!? Even more frustrating is the fact that the dresses that were on sale online were conveniently not in the store to try out, but I was offered to order the dress to be shipped to the store, pay in full and have a 50/50 shot of the dress working out. I was in low spirits due to previous searches coming up empty due to my size, but they had ALL THE SIZES. Marissa's apologies for a limited inventory aside, she measured me and helped me find my size in the dresses that caught my eye. I felt so happy when I tentatively approached some pretty gowns and had her announce that yes, they did have my size!! Marissa was so sweet and complimentary; I felt like a prom princess even in my socks. She also spoke Spanish, much to my mother's delight. Sydney handled both my mother and my daughter very well with all of the questions and rambling! I am and was very pleased with the service and attention I received from Sydney. My experience at David's Bridal at both this location and one in Houston can be described in one word: meh. Felt very rushed to make a decision. The person helping me kept offering discounts to drop my other wedding dress appointments and just buy one I had tried on there. $50 off on possibly the wrong dress is not going to cut it. Offered additional discounts and tried haggling...just an overall weird vibe. Asked if I could just chat with my family about making a decision in private. She agreed but kept hovering nearby, which left no privacy to discuss. I also think she was the manager (?) so it was even stranger for her to be this way. First off Shantal was AMAZING. She was so patient with me and helped me in every way she could. She went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable as I was wedding dress shopping alone because of COVID and friends/family being on the West Coast. She even held my phone up and showed each of my dresses to my family over FaceTime. She is an ANGEL!! Shout out to one of the younger seamstress ladies as well. Beautiful Latina seamstress lady helped me choose my final dress by giving me details and background on each dress and it's material. SUPER helpful. So why 3 stars you ask? One word: ALTERATIONS. I didn't know but apparently David's Bridal charges WAY TOO MUCH for alterations. I found out after my first alteration appointment but it was too late because I already paid and was just too tired thinking of the trouble to get out of it and go to another alterations shop when my wedding is not too far away. Basically I didn't do one particular alteration because the cost was piling up (more than the cost of my dress!!) so we decided to try the other alterations first and see if that would resolve the issue at hand. Well at my last appointment the problem was still there and even a little more pronounced on one side but when I pointed it out I was met with comments like "I didn't touch that side" and "you didn't want that alteration, see!" while pointing to the ticket where the line was crossed out. And then leaving me with "Ok, all good?" since obviously it was my fault the dress protruded that way. I could tell that particular seamstress didn't care I was there (even though my appointment was with her) as most of the appointment she left me with a very less experienced employee who, to no fault of her own, didn't really know what she was doing. Honestly I know if beautiful Latina seamstress was there she would've made me felt heard and taken care of, despite the crazy prices. Unfortunately she wasn't so now I'm working with a smaller alterations shop to fix that last alteration and, honestly, I wish I could've done all of my alterations at this smaller shop in the first place. I would only give 1 star if this was based off of alterations. I would give 5 if only based off of dress shopping and amazing Shantal (apologies if I spelled her name wrong). read more

Took my daughter here to pick out a prom dress. It was our first stop out of 3 for the day. We walked in and were overwhelmed with the choices. Thank goodness my other daughter was with us and loves to shop like this. We chose 6 to try on and Brittany the sales associate put our selections in a room for us. All through out the process of trying them on she was attentive and made suggestions and brought diff sizes of dresses which were either too snug or two big. My low review is since my dress was a sample dress before I made a final decision we asked for quote on alterations and that quote given that day was way off. It was more than doubled the price I had to pay at my Alterations visit. The staff member that helped me at the Alterations visit was great & nice so this does not reflect on her. I had the best experience! Walked in secretly very stressed because I needed a dress in a specific color for a wedding only a month away. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, they immediately began to calmly help. After about 4min, we had pulled 3 dresses. Finally got to write a review for David's Bridal! I bought my engagement dress, wedding dress, reception dress, wedding shoes, a veil and a belt. Have to say that the wedding dresses here are expensive. Even the on-sale wedding dresses are around $450. If my friends from church won't help out, I would end up spending a lot of money on a wedding dress. Here is a list of expenses I had at David's Bridal and my reviews for each one of them: 1) White Wedding Dress, $450. This is a very beautiful, long-sleeve sheath dress. David's Bridal only has a few of long-sleeve dresses, and this one is the best. Very hard to make an alteration appointment at David's Bridal and waited for quite a while to get it. The alteration of this dress costs me around $160. 2) Red Reception Dress, $250. VERY STUNNING DRESS! The first time I tried it, the strips were loose but the whole dress fitted so well on me. It's a red, lace dress and you can find it on David's Bridal website. Absolutely GORGEOUS and looked fantastic on me, even prettier than the white wedding dress. Ask someone else to alter my red dress that costs 60 dollars and got it the next day. 3) Engagement Dress, $100. White, lace, high-low dress. I wouldn't pick if just looking at the shape, but it fitted me super well too and I felt very comfortable wearing it. 4) Wedges, $60. Nice-looking shoes. 5) Veil, $150. I was shocked when I saw the price. Not recommended because the quality and the price. Buy the veil somewhere else. 6) Belt, $100. Very nice-looking belt, but I feel it's pretty expensive. 7) As for earrings and necklace, I bought cheap clip-on earrings from Amazon which looked super nice, whereas the necklace was unnecessary for this dress. The overall shopping experience was great. I have to say MANY THANKS to my bridal consultant Blu Newhouse (I may spell her last name wrong), whom I met the first time I went to David's Bridal. I was selecting an engagement dress for the afternoon engagement photos. The time was tight and my hope was low, but Blu was so helpful and considerate and picked the best dress that exceeded my expectation. She also kept an eye on the price so overall I felt very great shopping at David's. Because of her help, when the next time I came with church friends to pick a wedding dress, I made an appointment with her and it was another fantastic experience. Blu was diligent, fun to talk and professional. When I came to alter my wedding dress, I also considered buying a red reception dress, and she picked the one I finally bought. That time I didn't buy it because I was tired of buying dresses and making appointments to alter it. Also, I thought maybe other stores had better red dresses. I told her I was hesitant and she fully understood. After quite a while of searching from all big and fancy stores, I couldn't find any red dress suitable. So I finally came to David's Bridal and bought the dress. After altering it, it looked fabulous and my fiance absolutely loved it. Sarah and the whole crew at David's Bridal were wonderful :-) I found my dream dress under my budget, and even though the store was very busy, Sarah was honest and patient with me. I went dress shopping with my mom, and she wasn't pleased that I gained quite a few pounds over the years. I think Sarah caught on to my feeling uncomfortable, and she was positive and made me feel beautiful. Ordering the dress took no time at all, and the women in the alterations department were awesome! So far my experience has not been good. And I am in total agreement with the inattentive staff and especially Amanda, somehow designated to assist me. I showed Amanda the dress I needed for the wedding (I am the Maid of Honor). She grabbed the dresses in a size 8 and a size 12 because they did not have a size 10 and I would have to guess if the size 10, my usual size was the right size. I tried on the dress and decided to go with the size 12. Amanda and I went to the counter so I could pay for the dress. When I pulled out my card to pay, Amanda finally said, "we can't order that dress, you'll have to pick another dress. That dress takes 12 weeks to come in." Why Amanda, who knew my wedding date when she originally looked up my girlfriend's info in the computer didn't mention this EARLIER, like an hour earlier, beats me. Another thing, EVERY time I asked Amanda for another size or style, she would say, "let me go get that." I WAITED and WAITED and WAITED and WAITED and WAITED in the dressing room. Finally I came out, even though the dress I had on was not one I could zip myself. I pretty much walked around the store in a dress unzipped far enough down my back that I had to hold the front across my chest and hope nothing slipped. Amanda was deep in conversation with two other customers. Another staff finally noticed the half-dressed me and came up and said, "oh are you working with Amanda." I said, "Amanda said she would be right back but I have noticed that Amanda gets easily distracted." This is what the staff said, "Oh, well, Amanda cares so much about her customers and wants to provide the best customer service that it is hard when she gets pulled away." [No, let's be HONEST, Amanda provides exceptionally bad service. Really really bad. I'll erase my review if it changes - I really will. ] After waiting way too long, another sales person brought me some dresses and Amanda returned from Narnia to help me make the final decision (since having to decide without the Bride who picked out the original dress is not a minor decision for a Maid of Honor who LOVES her best friend getting married and WOULD wear a paper bag if the bride requested.) I picked out a dress and asked Amanda to put all the information in the computer to order. I told Amanda I would call the Bride ASAP and call to order the dress once I got the go-ahead. I spoke with the Bride soon after and called David's Bridal the following day. When I called David's the following day, I said, "Hi, I was there yesterday. All my information is in the computer. Amanda should have put it in. I just have to pay over the phone." I was put on hold. And waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally, someone picks up and tells me Amanda is busy helping another customer. I repeated, "I just need to pay over the phone. I don't need Amanda to pay. I don't care who rings me up. It should be in the computer and I just have to give you a credit card number." I paid and the sales person said everything was set. I asked her if she would e-mail me a receipt and cc the e-mail to the Bride. The sales person said they do that automatically. I'm still waiting. I called this morning. No one answered. So, I just got married. First, understand that I was a pretty non-traditional bride. At first, I wanted to make my own dress. We're bar hopping the country and doing multiple receptions. I wanted the Justice of the Peace to hurry up with it so we can get on to drinking. Needless to say, I avoided this place. I LOATHED the idea of walking into a bridal salon, fearing overpowdered women trying to upsell me to a cupcake polyester concoction. However, I had three weeks to go before our wedding and I didn't have a dress. I was desperate. I walked in and met Jessica, the woman who was assigned to help me pick out something (even though I insisted I didn't need their help) and I was saved. She was FANTASTIC. I showed her two things I had seen online that I was interested in, and she picked out a few more things that similar elements: sleek and simple. The two that I picked out did not work out, but the last one she picked out for me was seriously foxy. I ended up wearing that to our wedding. My dress was all of $170! It did help that I was wearing what was technically a bridesmaid's dress, but whatevs. What matters is that she helped me pick out something short and sweet, just what I wanted. read more
