Let's shop for summer. I've heard of Tyler's but I've never been. And I finally got to check them out. Store is pretty large with a men's section, women's section, and kids. I took my time to really get a feel of the store. I did see some nice items in the women's section, but nothing that really spoke out to me. It was a miss for me today. But maybe another day I'll find something. Austin and Texas t-shirts were a little higher price than some other places I've seen them selling for. A dress made in China was like $100.00. Born and raised Texan, who would never been to Tyler's in Austin, but has always owned a T-shirt as a proper Texan does. Staff was busy but asked if I needed help. Huge sale was going on including $5 Burelo t-shirts. Ended up with a family of 4 set of Tyler tshirts and went on my way. read more

I have tried to give this place second and third chances but they are never customer service minded. It's awful. They are rude and judgy. They always seem to have an attitude and seem to be bothered when people are shopping and/or checking out. Not sure if they are actually there to sell items. Just today my kids were excited to find brand name clothes on sale and MARKED with a low price. The cashier told us "these were marked wrong" and verified with the manager (named London) and they kept them. They "miss-marked" 11 items. Honestly I think they wanted to keep them for themselves because the brand and style are very popular. The excuse was they should be $40 and that's a big difference, yet we found items much more expensive and marked lower. What manager doesn't uphold a price marked on clothing. And it was on all the pieces, not just one. Just don't expect nice treatment at this one like you get at others. They don't want you actually shopping here. read more

Great store full of all name brand items that are typically 50% off. It's a pretty big Warehouse style store that seems like it's about 10,000 square feet of brands like Patagonia, Adidas, New balance, Hey Dude, Yeti and many high quality items. I have even seen Chaco sandles. All types of clothing and accessories that you'll see at any Tyler's location. There's a 30-day return policy on most of the items so you're covered there also. God, another store that I use to like is starting to suck. I use to love going here to buy some of my favorite brands at discount prices, but they have now transitioned this store to be more like a regular Tyler's (booooo!) and carrying less clearance items. This sucks because we would buy a lot of my son's new school clothes here, which worked because every time I turn around he had grown and needs new clothes again. So bummed that I won't be able to get as much bang for my buck here. As for customer service, I would say really it should be two stars. No one ever asks how you are doing here, and practically ignore you when your shopping. A lot of times they look at you side eyed when they putting out merch, as if you are bothering them by being in their vicinity. Rarely do I find any cashiers that are friendly. Tyler's probably has to raise prices to buy some of them personalities. Maybe invest some of the money on customer service sessions. Would I go back? Maybe! I still find some good deals every so often, but having to deal with bad attitudes of the employees makes me want to say, "Hard pass". read more

OMG! Shoppers beware!! Never in my life have I shoplifted from this store (or others) nor have I ever even been to this place before, and the store workers--Rose, among others whose name I did not unfortunately, catch--called the Police on my partner and I, for, I literally don't even know what! As neither one of us did anything sketchy or distasteful whatsoever, while in the store! They apparently told the police on the phone that they had seen us on camera stealing. Then when the officer went and watched the video footage, which he blatantly came back and told us, did not show either one of us stealing anything, but rather, said that "we looked suspect" while in the store, simply because my boyfriend pulled up his pants while he unknowingly apparently looked in the direction of a camera in the store...?!!!?! Wtf?! We had over $100 in Tyler's giftcards gifted to us, so we decided to go check it out and see if it had anything we liked.... Well, we didn't even get the chance to check out or purchase any of the clothing items we had picked out to buy, because all of a sudden, Austin Police showed up, asked for our IDs, and detained us in a corner of the store by the front of the store (for everyone to see as we were made to look like criminals, which we ARE NOT!!! - so incredibly embarrassing!!!!), while one officer went with the Tyler's employee , Rose, to watch some alleged video footage of us in the store, again, doing absolutely nothing wrong, AT ALL! Of course, once the officer saw the camera footage which proved our innocence, we were immediately given back our IDs and allowed to leave, but not before Rose (The Tyler's employee who wrongly accused us of...stealing? before we even left the store! And without any proof or evidence of any kind against us!!), told us that we were not to come back and if we did it would be a criminal trespass...um excuse me, what?!?! What a way to treat your customers! I would have expected a sincere apology from each and every one of the Tyler's store employees who had falsely accused us of stealing and who wasted Austin PD's time (and tax payer money!!) on a bogus 911 call, literally, for what?!?!?! Instead of an apology, we were threatened with the potential of a criminal trespass, should we return!! Because apparently they were too embarrassed to apologize for their wrongdoings, so instead, they kept up the act and made us out to look like we were criminals, when we very CLEARLY were/are not and were doing nothing wrong!! Well, thank god, neither myself, nor my boyfriend have any desire to ever set foot in Tyler's EVER again, after that humiliating experience!! Hell No! Rose should be fired, as should any other Tyler's employees who were in on this little ridiculous scheme of theirs, for what reason, I do not know!! Can't wait to initiate a lawsuit against this place, for real! Fuck you, Tyler's!!! Emphasis on would NOT recommend!! read more

My fav place to go shoppen~~ all my shirts are $5 to $10 and purchased at Tyler's (embellishing the truth for Tyler's' sake). LP noticeably less aggressive as of late, perhaps since their stock's shifted towards being a clearance only warehouse type deal. Got a great shirt today. Might go back for another one. Kind of a shitty dark green vans stripe tee (love stripes) that I wouldn't buy for $25 or whatever but that I would definitely buy for $5 (but my wife said it was ugly). Can never have enough green shirts, haha! My favorite color and all. Anyway the two shirts in question were/are both green, and both XL but they'll shrink and I've been balling pretty hard lately (e.g. eating so much that I look like a ball). read more

Solid three stars Likes : occasionally I can find a super sweet deal on shoes. They have more than just tshirts in here. I could spend some time browsing the store. Parking is excellent. Lots of different varieties of things in here. Very organized!!!!! Dislikes: Prices are high. I personally can't buy a $30t-shirt...sorry maybe I am not one of the cool kids. The employees like to talk amongst themselves. A customer shopping went to the front counter to ask questions. I totally agree with the other Yelp reviews regarding service here. 12/29 went to this location to exchange Christmas gift. Heavy-set, mid to early 20's lazy male, approx 5'7" working register at 2PM refused to look up item in computer. Stated Westlake store carried the item, not this location. Suggested we drive to that location for exchange. Lame customer service. Suggest manager replace employee with another who has drive, enthusiasm, and customer service knowledge! How about using your brain? Inside was very big & very organized and while they did carry lots of clothing items & other accessories like shorts, shirts, kids clothing, shoes, swim suits and sunglasses, & hats the majority of the prices are high like the sky!!!! And the exchange policy was not the best either. You can return items not bought on sale w/in 30 days & get your money back but any items bought ON SALE can only be returned for store credit or exchanged. read more

Lame collection of adult shoes, outdated. They didn't have any women's jeans or shorts.. just a few dresses/ Rompers and dress shirts. Girly type... not my type. The store had a bunch of random T-shirts yet the only one I was looking for they only carry in children's size. The register has water bottles, bracelets, stickers , small junk like that .. that you can find anywhere around town like target and Academy. The clothing options were good, especially the unique shirts they have. I liked that they were open a little later than I thought they'd be as well. I'm taking a star off for the prices, which were high, in my opinion. I ended up not getting anything because even though there were shirts I wanted to get as gifts, I couldn't justify $30 for a short sleeve t-shirt. The staff wasn't super helpful either, I got a lot of glares and no one offered to help me find what I was looking for, which they wouldn't have known because they didn't ask. I'm sure this would have been fine for regular customers but I doubt I would go here again. The shirt designs were really great though, so I would recommend if you really want creative shirts and don't mind spending the money. read more

There are plenty of staff working here yet nobody asked if I needed help with anything. The staff acted like zombies the whole time I was there. The restrooms are closed and the staff are allowed to use them, however the customers are not. I will not be returning here again. read more

Wow this place is quite big! Dresses on sale for around $30. Swimsuits for around $10-25. Nike athletic shorts for $15-20. Some shoes on sale, including reef, toms, asics, flojo, etc. I ended up buying a pair of reef flip flips for $20, regularly priced at $30. Overall, great for some deals but don't expect a huge variety of stuff, just the select items that are on sale. read more

Tyler's outlet refuses to let customers use their restroom now for some crazy reason. By denying people the right to wash their hands how is that going to stop the Rona? Great work corporate on annoying your customers for no apparent reason. Pro tip: Walgreens bathroom is open I know because I had to drive there. I'm giving 3 stars because your staff were very nice. I LOVE this store. I can always find exactly what I am looking for, shoes, swimsuits, dresses, shorts & bags for myself and my elementary age son. Everything here is brand name, high quality stuff. Most items seem to be at least 50% off retail. Yes, it's an outlet store and the return/exchange policy reflects that. If I need something, I always go here first. read more

I come shop here once in awhile because my daughter works out down the street. There are a few decent deals on a few things , but for the most part the prices here are not great for what they have. I know people said the staff wasn't helpful and the prices weren't low enough but I completely disagree. Most of the items are name brand that you never see on sale Chacos, Toms, Nike, ASICS, havianas, north face and Patagonia. We could have spent hours here. I got a beautiful north face winter jacket for $80 dollars, brand new chacos for $60 and havianas for $14. I'm thrilled without purchased. Also there were multiple staff members that checked on us many times throughout our trip. read more

First time coming here and the selection of tshirts and apparel is very nice. I actually like this location better than the downtown location because there is actually parking : ) we found exactly what we were looking for and a few extra things! They have a pretty good selection of Yeti coolers/carry bags and some cute Yeti tshirts! Plus the prices were pretty good also!! read more

Really slick.... Bought a pair of shoes which I brought back 3 days after purchase. Best news was I got to find out because it's a sale item I don't get my money back. It's a damn outlet store and it's all on sale. Only a store credit or exchange. Receipt states "Purchases may be returned/exchanged for full price within 30 days of purchase, in unused/unworn condition, with tags still attached and with the original receipt present." I guess my "may be" they mean only on full price items like those overpriced Tyler's tees. Dude had the balls to point at the sign on the register when he sassed this to me. I get to use my credit at any Tyler's. How exciting!!!! read more

The best part for me is I'm a Texas Longhorn fan, an Austin fan and a Yeti fan and they have a lot things to represent them in there. They have almost everything yeti carries in there! BF and saw this while we were driving home from campus. We came back to check it out hoping they would have discounted "Tyler's" merchandise. But unfortunately they have more of those surfer/skater brands on sale. Their actual Tyler's merchandise is more limited than the campus location. The guy's selection is pretty large and you could get some cheap $5-10 tshirts. They have a large discounted shoe selection full of Nike's, Tom's, Asics, etc. Everything is pretty origanized. Shirts are organized within color and size. Swim stuff is kept separated from the regular clothing. A small kid's section can be found in the back as well. Employees are friendly and helpful if you need guidance. read more

Here is how The outlet store made their money when I went. I got 2 pairs of shorts - $35 & $30. They charged me $35 for each pair. They also have lots of blank staring young people folding clothes with a line of customers waiting to check out from only one open register. I asked a clothes folder if she could check some of us out. She just said No & went back to folding. read more

I looked online everywhere for a pair of Sorel boots that are being discontinued. I was not able to find them anywhere. I took a chance and called this store since I saw they sell Sorel shoes. Rebecca kindly helped me over the phone, found them in another store and helped me get them to this location. I've never seen this this store before, so it was my first time there. They have good brands at cheaper prices -Patagonia, Sorel, tom's, Prana- I sure hope all the people that work here are as good as Rebecca was doing her job! read more

Worst service I've experienced in a long time. Someone needs to fire the grouchy girls at the counter to put them out of their misery.

A little pricy for an "outlet" and some of the layout didn't make sense. Things behind display glass didn't have visible prices; requiring you to ask for help. The sales associate was happy to help but I prefer being able to see for myself. I probably won't be back. read more

All the items offered here were awesome the reason why I'm giving this outlet a one star is because of the customer service. When my friend and I came in, we received no greeting. Once we were inside, no one asked if we needed help and when we were checking out, the blonde cashier was too busy paying attention to her own things to even realize we were waiting and she was giving us attitude during the whole check out process. Decided to stop by Tyler's and see what it was all about. We arrived at the store around 7pm I looked around for a while, at 7:45pm they turned off the music and locked the doors and started closing, when there supposed to close at 8pm. After that all of the staff became extremely rude and annoyed because you would touch their folded shirts. As a customer you should be able to look at cloths and not be scolded for unfolding some shirts. Not only that but they had rung up my items wrong. They had charged me extra for a shirt that had a marked down red tag, so I had to go back and have them refund me. I feel like I had a very poor experience and I wouldn't recommend this location. Only giving them 2 stars because I got some shoes out of it. read more
