    Club Sandwich with fries
    Alex C.

Got a quick bite to eat after a beach excursion at the Aulani resort. I had the club sandwich with fries and some iced tea. There's plenty of patio seating and shade in this outdoor bar restaurant. We got a table right away and the service was pretty good initially. Our server disappeared when we wanted to pay and get a to go box. I ate half my sandwich which was turkey, ham, bacon, avocado and lettuce and tomato on whole grain toast. It came with a pickle spear on the side. I had the other half of the sandwich hours later and it was still delicious. It was a pretty expensive lunch at $40 but this was to be expected at Aulani.

We liked Off The Hook. They're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed the sweet and sticky pork ribs. For breakfast you just walk up to the bar and order your food and they bring it to wherever you're sitting. For lunch and dinner you see the hostess and they will seat you. We had a group of 17 people and they were able to make that work, which was really nice.

One of the casual dine-in spots in Aulani Resort is conveniently located next to the pools and views of the beach. They open early for breakfast with tasty comfort meals and coffee drinks, and stay open through lunch and dinner. The menu features some standard American fare for the family. The prices are premium, but the portions are good. The staff is friendly and attentive. For food, I've enjoyed the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, the Chicken Club, and the French Dip sandwich. The slow-roasted prime rib in the French dip was a little under-seasoned, but tender, and the au jus and white sauce added a nice balance and extra zip. The bread was also warm and soft. A full bar is also available, offering refreshing cocktails, non-alcoholic specialties, beers, and wine. In the morning, order coffee and other drinks at the bar as well. I enjoyed the Liliko'i Splash and Pineapple Ginger Splash, non-alcoholic mocktails with my lunch. There's plenty of patio dining available during the morning (open seating) and during the day (hosted seating). We haven't had problems being seated promptly.

If you're poolside at Aulani, this place has some good eats & great libations! Service was amazing as always! And we weren't the only ones having a good time! Especially at the bar, where all the patrons were watching a game and cheered! Not too noisy since we were all outside in their open air seats.

Off the Hook is a poolside bar and lounge at Aulani Resort serving cocktails and appetizers. Grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a leisurely meal. We were enjoying the meal. I got the French dip with fries and a Pina colada. The food was really good and hot! The drinks was spot on. The service was excellent. She was super friendly and got us in and out! The environment was nice and relaxing to enjoy my food!

Blackened ahi with jalapeño mash and green beans

Off the hook is a poolside restaurant with delicious eats. I ordered the blackened ahi per the servers recommendation and it was very good. It was cooked and seasoned well and was paired with jalapeño mashed potatoes and green beans that complimented the fish well. Service was a little slow and they ended up being out of a few things which is why it's just a 4 star for me. It's right near the pools and ocean so you get to have some pretty views and good people watching. Definitely worth a visit!

Great service, drinks and food. We had arrived at Aulani the night before. We were exploring Aulani until friends arrived. This restaurant offers special breakfast beverages and food (no alcohol). No table service. You order and seat yourself for breakfast. Breakfast closes at 10 and lunch begins at 11, which is when the bar opens and table service begins. Nice, relaxing place to kick back, have a drink and some tasty food. The staff are really, really nice and attentive. You really "need" to try the Maui-Style onion rings. They're fantastic by themselves! No dip or salt needed! The Mai Tai is delicious. The French Dip is really good. Perfect prime rib and Au Jus. I'm not a fan of swiss cheese and it was good. We went back, again, later in the trip and recommended to our friends upon their arrival after a long day of traveling.

Amazing food and drinks! It was definitely expensive as it's Disney... but very worth it. We ordered a turkey club sandwich, hanger steak, Caesar salad, and onion rings. For drinks we went with a classic Mai tai and a lava flow. The food was soooo good. The steak was flavorful and very tender. The sandwich was stacked and super yummy. We took the food Togo so I can't say much for the service but the staff was nice and helpful while I placed the order. Would love to come back here for dinner one day and sit at the actual restaurant, it's overlooking the pool and water and has beautiful classic Hawaii vibe!

    Kathleen L.

This place feels like a classic resort tourist trap. The prices seem inflated simply because they can be and because they know guests will eventually eat there. The pasta was bland. The burger was bland. Everything had no flavor. The lava flow was decent, but I've definitely had better. The ambiance was nice, but it wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing food. I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Stopped by to pick up breakfast to eat by the pool. I wanted to try all the casual dining during our stay and having Mickey waffles on the breakfast menu was a plus. Yes it's pricey but hey it's at Aulani so one shouldn't be surprised. My LO loved the Mickey waffles of course and it comes with either two pork sausages or two Portuguese sausages. I also ordered the keiki (children) spam garlic fried rice with an egg of your choice (I chose over easy). I found the keiki size to be perfect since I planned on snacking all day. I also ordered the Aulani special blended coffee drink and it was delicious. I think this is the only dining near the pool that serves specialty coffees. Service was friendly. Since I went during the early morning it did take a while for the server to come out we itch my order but they just means it's made to serve. There are plenty of tables you can eat at of just pick up and enjoy by the pool like I did

    Breakfast fried rice. So good!

Staying at Aulani or not, off the hook is a casual little spot located on the resort grounds. Serving a today breakfast and a seated lunch and dinner, it's an easy spot to get in to with a decent menu. Their breakfast fried rice hit the spot. Absolutely delicious and love that it's become a staple breakfast food for us since moving here. For lunch we got the Cobb salad and the French dip. Both were good, but nothing to rave about. The French dip was fattier than I prefer and the au jus was a little lack luster. The salad, while pretty, made a big ol mess trying to stir everything in, and the capers were overpowering. The drinks at the resort really shine. We don't drink alcohol, so good mocktails will keep me coming back. Every one I tried was delicious. Service was on point. He was kind and helpful, and our waters never sat empty. It is outside, so it can be warm, but the views of the water make up for it, and you are under umbrellas. I have been told by a good friend who is very strictly gluten free for medical reasons that this restaurant in particular is spot on with her allergies and have plenty of good options for her to eat without worry.

    Nicole C.

This place is expensive but really good! The coconut lime mojito is one the best drinks you'll put in your mouth hole. And I actually paid for their chopped salad twice! I never get salad out at a restaurant but that was bomb. The service was amazing too! Especially Scott S! Lots of good conversation and friendly service too. And you can't beat the tables that are close to the ocean. What a view!!

    Garlic shrimp flatbread
    Cheryl B.

Located at the Aulani. I'm more of a pancake person but the Mickey waffle plate with really crispy bacon and fruits with cream was a winner for breakfast two days in a row along with the huge 3 egg omelette with potatoes. I'm already thinking about going back even if we're not staying at the resort. For lunch we had the garlic shrimp flatbread and that was really yummy. Service was good well never really noticed how long it took because we had views of the pool and beach while waiting.

The standout dish of the evening was undoubtedly the lobster deviled eggs -- a creative and indulgent twist on a classic appetizer. The richness of the lobster paired beautifully with the creamy filling, and it completely convinced me that lobster absolutely belongs atop deviled eggs. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the thoughtful and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond in making our table feel welcomed, especially by checking in on our little one and kindly offering complimentary buttery noodles, which was such a warm and appreciated gesture. Didn't even know that this was a thing I wish that we had this everywhere. Food was delicious and the live music that we came into towards the end was great. We went on a Saturday, getting to the resort before 4:30 and then up we went with our special key from the front desk. We didn't have to use the key. When we got to the room, it is unassuming as it blends in with other rooms...except not. Followed the instructions on the door and it was so cool we closed the door and video taped it. I think it threw off the people working as they expected patrons. The walk in the hallway threw me off a little but after you walk through the small room...WOW. All I had to say was WOW. Because I had no expectation everything was so exciting. There was a "rooftop bar" feel to the place and the view was so nice. (Although I could do with less tree-view) It would have been nice to have been early enough to get seats at the railing but we didn't know you could get there before 4:30 and there was already a few groups there. Seating is first come first serve so we opted for a high top table tucked in the back that the 4 of us could sit and chat but still enjoy the view. I took a few photos but mostly enjoyed the ambiance and the girl talk. I don't know why I thought there would be light pupus but nope, no food. Just some olives and nuts. I wish I took photos of the drink selection menu because I don't remember what was in my drink. The names of the cocktails were fun though! I enjoyed a "Lifted 'Yota" which was fun and tasty. They also serve mocktails if you don't want to have the alcohol. All in all, I loved the experience we had and my friends and I look forward to coming back. I mean, there's an extensive beverage list and I must try something else!

The bathrooms were also pretty gross, even for a casual bar/restaurant. I wanted to like it more because the food itself was good, but the cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the experience. During our stay, we discovered ants running across the kitchen area in our room. This was not just a few ants. It appeared to be a clear infestation. I have video showing the extent of the ant issue and what we experienced during our stay. We also spotted roaches on the property, which added to our concern and disappointment. Instead of spending our time relaxing, enjoying the resort, and making the most of what was supposed to be a special Disney vacation, we spent valuable vacation time dealing with pest problems, contacting the front desk, waiting for housekeeping, and following up in person to get the room issue addressed. We contacted the front desk right away. The initial call did not seem to be taken as seriously as we had hoped, and it was only after I went to the front desk in person that housekeeping was promptly sent to the room. To their credit, housekeeping did come, took photos, cleaned the area, and attempted to resolve the situation. However, by that point, the disruption had already taken away from our stay. What made the experience even more frustrating was the response afterward. Nothing was initially offered to address the time we lost, the food we had to throw away, or the overall inconvenience of dealing with ants in our room during a vacation we spent over $8,000 on. When we asked about compensation, we were told housekeeping did not have the authority to offer anything, which I understand. However, after speaking with a manager, we were told nothing further could be done beyond a $100 credit, which felt very disappointing given the circumstances. The most upsetting part was the suggestion that we may have brought the ants in ourselves or that we should have reported the issue at check-in. That response felt dismissive and shifted responsibility onto us instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the problem. As someone with over 20 years of experience in the pest control industry, I found that explanation very hard to accept. I hate to put this out there, but I feel obligated to share our experience. Many families save for a long time for a trip like this, and they deserve to know what they could potentially experience, especially when paying Disney resort prices and expecting a certain standard of cleanliness and service. Aulani is a beautiful property and has the potential to be an incredible vacation experience, but this stay did not meet the standard I expected from Disney. The pest issues themselves were bad enough, but the time wasted addressing them and the lack of a meaningful response made the experience much more disappointing. I truly hope management takes these types of cleanliness concerns more seriously in the future. Guests should not have to spend their vacation dealing with ants in their room, food loss, and repeated follow-up just to have an issue properly addressed.

We really appreciated the koi pond outside of the restaurant and the live ukulele artist playing 80's songs. The Disney characters made their rounds in the dining room and there's a photo opportunity with Mickey Mouse before being seated. We were greeted by Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto during our breakfast. They are so friendly and provided autographs for my daughter Lauren. Overall. It's reasonably priced for Hawaii and a resort for a unique experience and the food quality above average for the price.
