Again the food is tasty and well priced. Why get a $25 flatbread pizza at a hotel when it's $10.99 here! Great selection and great food! The parking can be a little difficult, but it's worth the stop. The staff is always so kind, especially the Filipina workers -- they have amazing customer service and are very welcoming. They have everything you need at decent prices. It's not just a tourist spot either; it's a great place to grab sushi, snacks, and ready-to-go food for a picnic date or while you're on the go on the west side. This place is absolute life saver if you are staying at Aulani or any of the other hotels in the area. We came here several times during our stay to get dinner and essentials and everything we had was amazing. My wife really enjoyed the variety of gifts for sale as well as the fish she had for dinner. Why am I giving a review of an ABC store? Will let me tell you. This one is like no other. It's definitely convenient just a short walk from the Alani and other resorts nearby. Any convenient shopping center. But this one has full food. I came over here for breakfast a few times it definitely saved me a ton of money. They had UBE pancakes that were fantastic! They also have ice cream and all the other stuff that every ABC store carries but this one definitely had a good amount of stock. It almost felt like a full on real grocery store just in a smaller size. Service was great. My food came out fast too much times staff are super friendly and always polite. Was happy to come early in the morning and late at night got the same experience each time A lot of locals will be parked out front in the morning having coffee to fun experience! Maybe I should gatekeep but nah I like to spread the joy! This ABC store location with all the food choices is awesome. The prices are really reasonable too for Hawaii and especially for a resort area. I had the veggie burrito and walked over to the beach. It was so good and im so particular. Eggs were fluffy and the vegetables didn't sog the tortilla. It was so filling too. I had to save half for later. And I didn't even know it came with fried potatoes. Bonus! It came with like jar salsa but that's fine cause the burrito was a winner! I even returned after a couple hours at the beach to try their prime rib for take out. What a treat! Workers are local and efficient with the crowds. Food areas are neat and there's a lot of cute things that you don't see at other non touristy stores. I'm gonna go back for sure! read more

This place is dangerous. My friends had been telling me for months how convenient it is to buy almost anything (anything) from the ABC store and they weren't kidding. It's a short little walk from Aulani where we were staying so I went nearly every day which Colin's my fumigation of receipts adding up to $400. Which remember to save your receipts to redeem for awesome gifts at the end of your trip. There are t shirts, mugs, stuffies, bags, keychains, hot food, cold food, drinks, fruits. The Island Cafe by ABC Stores is simply delicious. You might think why? There's a high turnover and people are buying up pre-made bento lunches and bowls and they have poke bowls to order. Today I got a half pound poke bowl with white rice, Hawaiian Ahi and Spicy Ahi (half and half) with ginger, cucumber and furikake seaweed flakes. You get three toppings and I paid extra for the avocado. The poke was delicious and the portion was generous. The 1/2 pound gives you the option of two proteins. There were 5 different poke available. In addition, we picked up a fried chicken and rice bento, gyoza pot stickers and of course spam Musubi. The ABC store and Island Cafe offer an inexpensive alternative to eating at the Aulani or the surrounding hotels. The food here is consistent and fresh. We highly recommend it and you can always eat it back at the hotel room or on the beach (picnic style). Water slippers, sunscreen, aloe Vera, you name it, they have it. And if they don't, their staff is so friendly they'll make suggestions as to where you can source your needs - one time, an employee phoned her friend who worked at Costco to find out if they had what I needed in stock. When you want a no nonsense local meal in Ko olina, this cafe is spot on! We like to visit the lagoons and sometimes, no time to pack lunch. Kalbi, loco moco, musubi, all legit and very reasonably priced. Most items are made to order. The other day I was not trying to eat too heavy. This caprese salad was perfect! Fresh and satisfying for a warm beach day. There's also a Teapresso bar for a refreshing drink to wash it all down. The lychee explosion and mango chamoy are must haves if you're a fan of the tangy spice. I do wish they had a coffee milk tea as my go to, but the black tea works in a pinch! I usually get their most basic burgers w/fries, ube pancakes, omelets,, the malasadas, sushiritto and all of that was all tasty and the the price is really good compared to similar offerings/restaurants/resorts in the Ko'olina area. A really good bang for your buck if you staying in the area and just want some take out food. Located a good walk across the street from Aulani. I recommend this food for everyone that is staying at Aulani. They make the hot food pretty fast or seems pretty fast because I am browsing (instead of waiting) over all the food/dessert I want to eat. Workers are pleasant to be around, nothing really special. The best ABC Store on the island hands down. We always find oursourselves stopping here for a food fixings as locals. Their hot plates are always good and the salads never misses. Parking can be tricky since it's a busy shopping center but we always find ppl are coming and going pretty quickly. If we do need a parking space we would cross over to the other shopping center right across. Also don't forget to pay for parking on the app if you're staying longer. If you are staying at the Disney Aulani Resort hotel, this is a fantastic market to buy your water, snacks,, poke bowls. And fresh cut up fruit. I had loaded up on water bottles, because the water at Aulani was expensive. The Poke bowls are made to order. Think of a 7-11 or a Circle K with an actual fresh food counter. They have an aisle dedicated to chocolate macadamia nuts. Stock up on souvenirs for your friends. They have shirts beach towels and snorkel gear if you forgot to bring yours from home or if you don't want to rent one from Aulani. Think of how many mouths have been on that mouth piece. Nasty !Yuck! The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered to help me when they saw me with a cane trying to carry my Poke Bowl to to the cashier. The aisles are wide enough for a wheelchair or for an electric scooter. I highly recommend for you to stop at an ABC Store while visiting Hawaii. The store is very convenient and we buy so many things here! However, there are a few things that we didn't enjoy. Sometimes the store is hit or miss. For example, the açaí bowl was delicious! The best one I've ever had. It had fresh fruit and the acai was sweet. On the other hand, the bread on the coconut cream bun was hard and dry. The chocolate filled croissant had a weird texture. The tuna was fresh and well seasoned. You'd be hard pressed to find a better poke bowl nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For a late night snack, I had some spam musubi. We stayed at a resort across the street and would walk over to pick up breakfast, lunch or dinner. Throughout my stay I tried: - Kimchi fried rice: 5/5 I loved this so much I ordered it 2-3 times. It comes with 2 eggs & a teriyaki pork. This was the best kimchi fried rice I've had. It's not spicy at all. For the price, it's definitely worth the flavor and portion. - Mahi Mahi tacos: 2/5 They gave 3 tacos but the sauce tasted off. You can get better tacos elsewhere. - Ube Pancakes: 4/5 I would've given this a 5/5 if there was more sauce or added some to the side. Most of the sauce was absorbed into the top one, leaving the other 2 pancakes fairly dry. The sauce and the taste of it was on point. Definitely a solid ube pancake and with the whipped cream and strawberry, it was a perfect breakfast. - Breakfast Burrito: 3/5 It's not bad for what it was. But the breakfast burritos at Eggs n things is a lot better. The taste of the Italian sausage was delicious. - Ultimate Hash Brown Experience: 4/5 Your typical breakfast: hash browns, sausage, eggs, cheese & tomato's. This location has anything and everything you need here! I come here most often in the morning since it's right by my job. Literally like a pit stop. I always get coffee and a pastry and some times breakfast or one of their sandwiches. The food is pretty good even to take home. Their prices for their food is decent compared to a lot of other food places in the area. For hot food, they make it when ordered so be prepared to wait. One issue coming during peak time is parking. It gets pretty busy in here and the wait for your hot food is definitely longer when busy. You have to wait for parking and if you are staying longer than 15 minutes, be sure to pay for your parking by using the signs. They do ticket! read more
