I needed to help a friend move so searched yelp for recommended movers and this one came up with strong ratings. Arrangements were easily made via messaging on yelp. Moving day came and Aaron and Arturo were on time and were superb communicators, letting me know ahead of time that they were on the way and again when they were within a couple minutes. Not only are they conscientious and careful movers they are genuinely nice guys too. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone I knew to do the move. Their boss, Mike, was also great with communication and quoted a fair price. Payment was easy over the phone once the move was completed. Definitely recommended!

Start time was approximately 15:30 at the storage unit and this is the last item up at the new place. It's 17:50 now.

Called and spoke with Mike yesterday to set-up movers for today which is a big ask since it's the end of the month and everyone's moving. Did my research and they had the best quote for the vendors that were available for today. Josh & Albert were in contact with me and arrived when they said they would. They moved all of my stuff out of storage (studio apartment) in about 30 - 40 minutes and had all of the equipment to move it fast. They also were great on the freeway navigating traffic and almost beat me to the place. I moved out of storage and into my place in one trip versus multiple trips over 4 days using up to 5 friends and family. Total cost for moving one small studio apartment worth of stuff from storage ( I already boxed my own stuff beforehand and all the big furniture was disassembled) $498.50, not cheap. I used the Yelp Projects feature and got a lot of quotes from different vendors and went with these guys because they didn't require a 3 hour minimum (comparing rates gets tricky because of random fees) and my actual moving took 2 hours, but they factor in travel and charge 1/2 hour to the new place and a 1/2 hour back to their office so it ended up being a 3 hour charge anyway. I asked for my bed to be assembled and Albert did that quickly. Lessons learned: - even with my studio apartment, it still took at least 3 hours so don't think your place will take less time and consider looking at vendors that charge a 3 hour minimum. - there are so many fees that each vendor may or may not charge so even with a spreadsheet it wasn't an easy calculation across the board. - if you have the money I'd hire movers. I had friends and family help with packing and moving to storage and it took me/us lots of hours over 7 days to do it. - book early and on weekdays it can be cheaper

We just had a small move and OFF-CZN was one of the few moving companies that did not have a three hour minimum which was awesome. It was very easy to book our move and Micheal was very communicative with how everything works up front. They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. They wrapped all of our antique items and everything arrived at the destination in perfect condition. They even reassembled a piece of furniture for us and put felt pads I purchased on everything to protect the floor. Micheal and Jesse were our movers and they were very professional and friendly. If you need to move something, this is your company.

They arrived at my apartment at 9 a.m. and finished moving around at 12. 1. Please be mindful of the price, which is $115 (at cash payment) and includes a 15% discount on the first service. 2. And keep in mind that I basically have to pay for the 1 hour ($115) + vehicle gas ($65) that they come and go. I used 3 hours, but it was set at 4 hours, so I paid for it in $525 cash total. I hope this service will help you.

I moved from Santa Ana to Anaheim today (1 bedroom apartment, from 8:10 AM to 1:10 PM) and had a great experience with the guys at OFF-CZN. I reached out to multiple moving services via Yelp and Mike replied promptly. OFF-CZN doesn't have your typical pricing structure (no hour minimums, but does require a $145 deposit) which made it difficult for me to compare to other movers, but Mike hopped on the phone with me twice to discuss the exact details and ultimately persuaded me - he's quite the salesman lol. However, keep in mind that OFF-CZN is likely NOT the cheapest possible moving service out there despite what Mike says. Arturo and Aaron were my movers and were hard working, efficient, and very communicative. As promised, they reached out 20-30 min before they arrived via text, and were able to maneuver the weird-shaped terrain of my old apartment with ramps and wheels for the boxes. They broke down my IKEA couch and bed (which they later rebuilt), and moved my TV stand, coffee table, and other large items in one piece. My move also included lamps, a 5 ft cat tree, a desk, desk chair, monitor, and several large & small boxes. They handled it all, including up a single flight of stairs at my new apartment (there is an additional charge for stairs). I was extra grateful because I was able to arrange a fridge disposal on top of the move service. **I will update my review if I discover damages while unpacking over the next few days. It was daunting for me to tackle my first move alone but OFF-CZN made the process easy. I especially appreciated that they were considerate about my cat, who I kept in the bathroom at the new apartment and had to move every time they needed to use it lol. However, the final price did take me off guard, which is why I've settled on 4/5 stars. I packed everything ahead of the move, filled my own car with bags and boxes to bring over alongside the moving truck, and was working alongside the movers all day, but it still took OFF-CZN over 5 hours. At the high price I paid ($900+), I wish I could have covered the effort of the entire move. Please note, any job that takes over 5 hours will include a 30 min paid lunch break for the movers, and the drive to/from you is included in that time (for transparency, Mike discounted the 30 min to me, and did charge the 30 min back). I had originally been quoted 4 hours but ended up paying for 6 hours before the additional fees such as fuel charge, stairs charge, etc. I was able to pay the cash price through Zelle, which saved me a trip to the ATM and some savings (though I did pay the deposit with credit card, which incurred a $9 fee). For my next move, I may try different movers in hopes of a cheaper price, but the OFF-CZN service itself was good quality work.

It wasn't $190 total when Mike added the commute charge on the phone.

Needed help moving a sofa and a love seat (2 pieces) from the ground floor of one home to the ground floor of another home less than 10 miles away. Was quoted $125 per hour plus a $65 fuel charge for the job for a total of $190. I gave them the info and they called me and on the call told me that it's another hour charge for them to drive to me and back to their work location so now it's two hours plus the cost of fuel for a total over $300. Since when is it my problem to cover their costs to get to me based on their location and to cover their costs back to their company? They keep advertising no minimums but this sounds like a minimum to me. Not transparent, not truthful. Don't use these guys.

I needed help with returning a large dresser. Mike was very quick to respond and provided me with fair pricing. There were few companies that were more expensive and some were cheaper but all required minimum 3 hours which didn't work for me since my job was less than an hour. Mike didnt require any minimums and was all about getting the job done. I contacted him on Friday and he scheduled me in right away next morning. What was fascinating to me was he arrived ON THE DOT. Very punctual. Respected my house being careful with the walls and my flooring. They have all equipment to ensure safe transfers. They were able to load my dresser and drop it off for return within 30 minutes or so. Very straight forward and the price he quotes is a firm price. Ive dealt with companies that quote me and then add in gas fee, require tip etc. I wanted a NO SURPRISE ALL IN FEE and that is exactly what Mike gave me. His team was very cool. Ill definitely hire again with any heavy lifting or large furniture transportation. Not only the great work but the #1 thing about this team is the polite customer service. I had an okay experience with OFF-CZN moving. The movers were prompt, polite, and respected my belongings. They had to disassemble my bed, sofa and move them down and upstairs, which required a lot of work. I appreciate their hard work. I do want to point out that the business charges on top of the normal moving hours fees, which may not be apparent at first. I was charged 7 hours for the 5 hours of moving time that occurred. Which included 30 mins from and back (1 hr total) and 30 mins meal delay fees (rounded to 1 hr total). There were also extra $35 fees to move furniture up and down stairs. May not be a deal breaker for most, but after a long moving day it was more of a surprise for me and my family. read more

The movers did a good job. They lack a little communication in between them because stuff I wanted to bring home they left at my storage. The main problem was Michael, the owner. $125. /hr plus fuel fee. My job took 4 hour's plus an extra hour for them to drive home. Total 5 hours, Michael turns around and asks me for $815. When my total should only be 700 max. If I sat and did nothing I would pay more but that's not the case. Michael just seems greedy! Watch out for him and the fees he will tack on!! read more

CONSIDER A SECOND QUOTE WITH OTHER MOVERS!! The service was fine, movers are movers and the guys did a good enough job. I can't complain. That said, the admins running the company are very greedy. They charge you for gas and then charge you an hour upfront for travel. This already puts your move at +1.5 hours. They will charge you for the guy's lunch break. They also charge for any little thing: i.e. a mattress cover, etc. oh also they round up to the nearest hour (lol). At the end he basically charged me for a move from 5:15 to 11:15 and in reality the guys worked from 6 to 10:15. My window for arrival was 12-3. They didn't get to me until nearly 6 pm. That should've warned me about the speed they moved at. It was already a large order and the fact they still add on a 1.5 hour charge is craaazzzyy. It's okay though, my next order will be discounted. Just go with the other more expensive movers, the net total makes these guys way more expensive for a service that doesn't deserve that much more. read more

I had to a move of 5 people 1 dog and two cats in less than 2 weeks! What a nightmare but Michael and his team were my absolute heroes. Quick, kind, efficient as all hell, and accommodating to my anxious tendencies. Honestly the best experience I have ever had with movers. I would 10/10 hire them again. Also the price was very reasonable, and no hidden charges. Michael breaks everything down with you in the beginnings for the quote and deposit and then again at the end before doing the final close out. Such a great experience. Great company and one of the few that offer full coverage protection for expensive items. Andy and Albert worked hard and quickly to package and move a 1 bedroom apartment. There were many heavy items. There were several nicks, scratches, bumps on furniture, which are expected when moving so many large, heavy and bulky items. They left scratches on the floor as well, but we had wood floors that scratch easily. Nothing that I could fault them for. Only minus is that they were missing a stud finder when I had paid to have them remount my tv on the wall. I had to go get the stud finder myself, but they paid for the cost of the stud finder. Secondly, they were inexperienced in installing the TV. They didn't know how to use the stud finder and best practices to wall mount the TV, even though I was quoted "professional mounting services". I was very nervous to have them mount the TV, but since I paid to insure the TV, I thought it was best to have them do it with my guidance/supervision. In the end it was properly mounted with no damage to the TV. Lastly, there struggled a lot to reassemble the bed frame. It took them almost an hour, which I ended up having to pay for. They weren't working slow on purpose, but rather they seemed inexperienced. Overall the only complain is that some of the movers are inexperienced. Otherwise, hardworking and honest company. read more

Mike and his team are fantastic! They are efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable. They know what they're doing and are so nice on top of it all. We had a 600 lbs concrete dining room table I was worried about moving it from the second floor of our house. Mike assured me not to worry and would bring a forklift and get the table situated. Great moving experience with OFF-CZN Moving company. I booked about a month ahead of time (i'm an A-type) and was so glad my original appointment and time slot was honored. Checked in with Mike and he confirmed everything was on schedule. The day of the move, Andy and Charly showed up on time and ready to work hard. These guys were extremely professional, courteous, and hard working. My quote stayed on track, no surprises. I have great respect for a company with this type of integrity. I absolutely loved working with Mike. He's friendly, responsive and a "yes" guy. Anything you request in advance, he'll get back to you. He moved me across the state in 1 day and made multiple stops at my request. Most importantly, he does it at such a great rate. We moved from Anaheim to San Diego. Mike, Aaron, and Joshua were amazing from start to finish. The price is good and the quality of service even better. Aaron and Joshua were very careful with our stuff, they were also quick and responsive. They were also friendly and easy to talk to. They didn't try to upsell or move too slowly to round up more hours (you pay by the hour which is fair for the amount of work they do). After being hung to dry by another moving company for a move from Temecula to Irvine. I reached out to OFF-CZN Moving last minute for a move happening in 2 days. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) I hired this moving company to move my belongings in a 1-b apartment from Irvine to West LA. The movers were efficient and professional, but I was disappointed with the cost. I was charged $120 for gas, 5 hours of labor at $115/hour, and two and half additional hour for travel time. This added up to over $1,000. I was under the impression that the movers would be using a large truck, but they only had a small truck. This meant that they had to disassemble and reassemble my two beds, which added to the time and cost of the move. If I had known that the movers would only be using a small truck, I would have shopped around for a different company. I think I could have gotten a better deal if I had hired a company with a larger truck. Overall, I was happy with the service provided by the movers, but I was disappointed with the cost. They were supposed to come at 2pm but called us to let us know they could come earlier which was awesome. The second they showed up, they were fast, efficient, and handled all of our items with care. Highly recommend Andy and Jair for your next move! I booked three weeks in advance for an arrival time on Sunday morning between 8-9 am. The movers didn't arrive until 12:30 pm but it worked out ok because we needed the extra time to pack. The guys were very polite and careful with all of the furniture. They carefully packed everything and asked where to place it. In total, it took 5 hours, 10 mins to move my 2 bedroom, second floor apartment to a house. They add an hour for drive time (flat rate) plus an extra hour (still unsure how that was calculated) so I was charged for 7 hours - a bit more than I was expecting but I'm happy with the job that was done. read more

It was certainly a pleasure to work with OFF-CZN. I urgently needed to transport a delicate travertine table on the day I contacted them. Michael worked around my schedule and communicated with me every step of the way. I'd like to point out that it was storming when they transported my item, but they still managed to get it to me safely on time. Moreover, I was charged a flat rate which I could not find with other moving companies. As someone who has moved a lot over the past five years, OFF-CZN provided the most efficient and stress free delivery services by far and all with a great attitude. I was so stressed out on how we were going to move our Irvine office equipment and supplies to our Santa Clara office on such short notice that my boss gave me (Less than a week) but came across Off-Czn and spoke to Mike. He answered all of my questions, was quick to respond, and was very cost effective for us unlike these super expensive quotes I received! Mike's great customer service took the stress away. They kept me up to date the whole time they were on the road 8+ hours, all 3 movers were very careful unloading, quick and made sure to ask specifically where I wanted everything placed! Arturo and Josh were absolutely amazing! They were here early, communicated throughout the whole process, were super efficient, and genuinely great people. They made sure the move was easy, professional, and even adhered to our last-minute requests. Off-czn as a company, from the incredible management to the movers, was able to incorporate our needs from the beginning to the end, and remain efficient, respectful, and organized the whole way through. I recently used OFF-CZN and had a great experience with them. They showed up on time and were transparent about the whole process, which I really appreciated. Throughout the move, they were very communicative and kept me in the loop about what was happening. They were also friendly and easy to work with, which made the whole process much less stressful. They got the job done fairly quickly, but still took care with my belongings and made sure everything was properly packed and secured.
