Food was good, but service was great! A young man in high school was our server. He was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. Very nice chitchatting with him. It was a cooler evening but they had the heaters on so it was comfortable. read more

The view is breathtaking. We waited for an hour to be served, as were other patrons. There didn't seem to be enough wait staff inside. The food was ok. Our waitress was stressed and had an attitude. We may come back and sit outside and see how it goes. read more

Came for dinner on 11/14/25 and had an incredible experience. Everything was delicious from drinks to food and dessert. Our server was attentive and very quick... I feel bad as I do not recall her name. There was live music and torches to keep warm. Will be coming back for brunch read more

You can't go wrong when you choose to eat at a restaurant with an outdoor patio facing the ocean across the narrow street! What a beautiful view! What blew us away (aside from the view) was the wait staff. They were friendly and polite, welcoming and attentive, and they served us well. In this day when it is hard to find good help, this restaurant is blessed with the best. The food was okay. My husband seemed happy with his mushroom chicken. I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant. I was surprised by pulled chicken instead of cubed chicken, but it was deliciously seasoned. It was a bit overcooked though and very chewy. It contained cranberries and grapes, as advertised, but instead of craisins which I expected, it had maybe a half dozen fat, very tart cranberries and a half a grape. Didn't live up to my expectations. They might want to work on that. Given the view and the wait staff - I'd probably go back and just not order the sandwich. read more

Great service and good food. The second floor dining area views out to the ocean are awesome.

Terrible service, crowded, unsafe conditions, the place is a fire hazzard service was less than acceptable

Excellent food! Service is very good. Prices are reasonable. The fish and chips are delicious and very light. The breakfast dishes are likewise well cooked with good portion size. read more

sad to say over priced over cookex Great staff But wont be back small portions burnt dry Price to high for portions Food dry over cooked read more

Service is beyond 5 stars!! Everything was brought out promptly, every employee we interacted with had a phenomenal attitude, and our server was so accommodating! Food was excellent; I had a veggie wrap with avocado & my husband had crab stuffed flounder. He said it was the best he's had. Pricing was not bad at all! The atmosphere was so pleasant; not too loud, & they even had sound dampening on the walls which was so nice. They had live music outside which was loud when we were outside, but you couldn't hear a thing from the inside. So the sound proofing is 10/10. Overall I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Definitely recommend! read more

We couldn't love this place anymore if we tried! Lauren, Steve, Chris, and Nikki always take such great care of us at the bar- best Bloody Mary around! If you haven't tried this one out yet you definitely need to! I also love how they have weekly updates on their menu so you never get tired of all the different things there are to try read more

It is great every time. Try to go during the week on a nice sunny day. Eat upstairs. Service always wonderful.

Raven did an awesome job serving. Our food was early/on-time, the music was at the right level and the views were relaxing. The calamari was a delicious appetizer to get us started. All of our entrees were excellent. We will be back asap!! read more

food was ok, nothing special but view of ocean was nice. The service was really slow and our waitress was new and didn't really know the menu. someone from our group asked if they had mahi-mahi and she said to look on the menu and we couldn't see it else was ordered. At one point one member in our group went to the bathroom and saw the sign that said special of the fish mahi-mahi, and we all laughed, but it was kind of sad. A 3% credit card fee also was on there which we didn't know about but it is what it is so many places to go to in Ormond Beach probably won't be back. read more

Food is always good and great atmosphere Always take family and friends that visit. Love the view from the second floor

We sat on the lower level and had an amazing bartender, super friendly. The drinks were so strong and worth it. We come back every time we're in Daytona. Food was solid and came out super quick, and the live music just added to the perfect beach vibe. read more

Came here on a whim, went a little farther to try out the Ormond location figuring it would be less crowded and easier to park. Never been to either location so I can't compare, but Oceanside was just ok. It wasn't busy at all and yet our food took a long time to arrive. Not pictured is the fried meatball app which was different being battered and fried, but nothing special and way overpriced for 4 average sized meatballs. The Thai chili sauce was a total miss - the flavor of the meatball is classic Italian and the flavors clashed. At least they provided marinara sauce as well, which went much better with them. The Mac and cheese was good but it was made with penne which was a little odd - but the cheese was good and there was a lot of lobster. Was it worth $33? I'm not sure it was. The fish and chips were good - not too greasy or heavy but also not anything special for $19.50. The brisket tacos were fine, but $19.00 for 2 average sized tacos with not a lot of meat and mostly slaw and a plate of tortilla chips with nothing interesting to dip them in was a ripoff. There are so many beach joints around - this one just doesn't get it done. Overpriced mediocre food, slow service but in a nice location. read more

I have been going here,to the one in Palm coast for years. Ever since their opening. It is definitely a favorite. Great service, very good food, Ambiance is pleasant, particularly with A ocean view . Highly recommend read more

From what I understood this is a second restaurant for these owners. Food was okay. Average bar food nothing exceptional nothing stood out. There were six of us. Everyone was satisfied with the meal but there was nothing that enticed any of us to want to go back. They were busy but not crazy busy. Service was okay but nothing stellar. It does have a wonderful view and outside seating. read more

Customer service greeting tingwas horrible. Clearly she was not a dog person. Heard about on Facebook that It was a Pet Friendly place so we took our two little dogs on a whim. One is a teacup Yorkie the other one's only 7 pounds. We forgot our stroller and we were told that the dogs had to be on the ground. I am not putting my 3 pound tea cup on the ground when we have high top chairs. It was not conveyed in a friendly manner. It was very judgmental and not friendly. I will never go back. read more

What a change since it was Betty's. Staff were sharp, the floor well manage, and the ambiance perfect. Food was very good, although I ordered the Gyro and it was just ok. But it is not a Greek restaurant, so I didn't expect much. The rest the table's food was excellent, perfectly prepared and large portions. Would absolutely recommend. read more

Everything we've had here is awesome. I like the biscuits and gravy at breakfast and my Italian buddy insists the lasagna is some of the best he's had. Great happy hour prices too read more

Food is outstanding. We came in on a Monday late and they sat us despite them closing in about 20 minutes. Try the Street corn Dip. It's outstanding. The country fried steak was southern goodness. Also try the sweet potato waffle fries with the cinnamon butter dip. I never had fries that were a dessert. We plan to come back soon as this is a great gem outside of Daytona read more

BEFORE I begin, I tell my opinion of the places I review. I'm doing GOOD , BAD reviews BASED on MY visit. I've read good reviews about this restaurant also but, All reader's can or not, decide what you want to do even after my review. It's up to you to decide. With this being said: I do not understand how this business is said to be so HOT After waiting over a year and everyone's excitement building The place is in MY opinion. is not so hot. First of all, they finally had a "Soft" opening. Too bad they didn't say they were only open until 2pm. We were out past ISB (International Speedway Blvd) and hungry. Instead of picking one of the restaurants around where we were, We decided to go back home and try Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill We got there around 4pm. and they were closed??? Some of the crew were still there, so I asked why they didn't announce this? Then we asked if we could have a menu again? NO menu's, no menu's? Now for days as we pass by, (We live 1 mile away) The outside tables were so crowded that we thought they must have gotten their act together. We finally get to go "yay" Nope, I now know why everyone is outside. The acoustics inside are horrendous. We sat at a cheap type table with cheap type chairs. We couldn't hear the server or ourselves talk. If you were a patron of the well known restaurant "Betty's," that was there originally, Then you KNOW how small it is inside A table of 8 next to us are yelling, trying to talk to each other. Talk about headache. Now, the prices of the entrees were absurd also. I've gone to other restaurants around and have gotten great steaks the same prices Instead, I was able to afford a Chicken Caeser Salad I'm not saying it wasn't good, it WAS but, again, Steak? Salad? If you see my reviews, I eat out A LOT! Cooking is not my forte So, I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to eating in restaurants. I picked the chicken Caesar salad because the prices again were absurd. ***You will hear positive and negative views about OBS saying we are wealthy, or we are not. We are snobs, or we are not. YES, it is more expensive to live on the beach then other places BUT, think of the people (me) who have been here before the place was built up, Those who have the little summer homes turned into year round homes. We worked hard for little Florida wages so we think we deserve some enjoyment by the beach. NOT to be snobs and afford high price meals ANYWAY, The restaurant is very proud of their prices. As we were waiting for the cheaper priced meals, I looked around and saw sooo many fancy drinks being served. Aah, No place around OBS has fancy drinks (OBS is only 6 miles long and 2 of them you cannot build on because it's the Gamble Rogers preserve.) Of course, I don't drink, I wish I could also, but, this heart won't let me. Maybe I'm just jealous about drinking but good food is better to me than a good drink Oceanside has another restaurant in Flagler Beach less than 8? Miles away. This restaurant has a younger crowd, great music, great Ambiance etc. Those of us who are on community sites, talk about it all the time Is it like Flagler?, is it a hip and happening crowd, Lots of fun going on? upper deck looking out and seeing the ocean? we couldn't wait. NOPE, nothing like that. But you can sit out on the high tops and look at the Ocean. That's always great SORRY, I don't have pictures. I couldn't bring myself to use my camera What I WILL do, is put up pictures of the outside. It's very pretty by the ocean. read more

I was here with a friend a couple of days ago. We were enjoying a meal and drinks. Out of no where the waitress came over and said she had bad news for us. She said they were slow and they weren't getting enough business so they were closing early. They're were still three tables of people. This was so unprofessional. My once enjoyable and relaxing dinner turned into a rushed, hurry and pay experience. I didn't even finish my glass of wine. It was like watching toddlers run a business. Won't be back! read more

That is the best ambience place you can sit and eat and enjoy your meal. The service is on point every single time I've been there and I've gone there a lot and the staff is helpful and very friendly. The food is excellent I've gone there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All family members that have come to visit in Palm Coast. I've taken them there and they love it just as much as I do especially looking at the ocean. Give them a five star review. Enjoy everyone. read more

I stopped by today for supper and I was very impressed. I was greeted with a smile and promptly served a drink. I sat at the bar and had the Mexican street corn dip and the blue cheese and bacon wedge salad. I really wanted the smash burger but the dip was very filling. The food was outstanding as well as the service. Alyssa was a great bartender and very pleasant to talk to. The head a view of the ocean from where I sat and have alot of outdoor seating as well. read more

The outdoor seating was scenic, but it can get windy sometimes. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. The portion size was disappointing as we only got 4 scallops and some vegetables underneath for $19.99. For entrees, we got the lobster mac and cheese and greek salad with no meat. The lobster mac and cheese was flavorful but came out room temperature. We wished it was hotter. The greek salad was as expected. Service was efficient and professional. Overall, this restaurant has great views, but unfortunately, it was not able to make up for the quality of the food. read more

We ordered carryout from Oceanside two nights in a row because we likes it so much. So far on our week's vacation in Ormond Beach we have had decent food but haven't been really bowled over by any of the restaurants or the dishes we have had. Oceanside changed this. The first night my husband ordered the smash burger melt and he enjoyed it so much that he got it again the second night. I had the shrimp and grits and they were delicious! Just the right amount of sauce and the seasoning was perfect and the grits were so good! The second night I decided to try the Cuban sandwich and it was very tasty! Glad I decided to order it! My son wasn't crazy about his BLT but oh well. He thought his smash burger was better the second night. Our daughter enjoyed her all American burger two nights in a row! Their food is good and they are fast and friendly! We normally don't order from the same place two nights on a row but it was our last two nights here and we thought, "why not?" read more
