I found Justin almost 3 years ago and have been a loyal and HAPPY customer ever since. He's very personable, talented and has no problem with my pickiness or if I'm unable to make up my mind. He's even picked out colors or combos for me that have all turned out beautifully!! There are nail salons all over Vancouver, and believe me, I've been to plenty. But NO ONE has been able to do my nails as well as Justin

I am die hard loyal to the salon owner, Nancy. I have followed her from salon to salon for over 20 years. I am extremely picky. I want my "fake" nails to look like real ones. I get French tip acrylic nails and everything I want, Nancy does: an even arc of the white tip that is not too wide; the entire nail filed down to eliminate the telltale hump of fake nails; the nail tips not too thick (again, helping prevent that fake nail look). She is quick too! I am often in and out in 45 minutes. During this time of the "Coronacrud", the salon is taking all precautions to make your visit a safe one. I know many women are forgoing physical upkeep since they are not socializing as much as they used to, but getting pedicures/manicures could be just the thing you need to lift your spirits during this challenging time in life. Plus, continuing to do so will help local businesses stay open, so when we come out on the other side of this ordeal, there will be services still around to take care of our needs! I encourage you to support this single woman owned business. Make an appointment today, or just show up - they take walk-ins.

I came here after having a horrible experience at another location and was met by Justin. I let him know that I was just looking for a pedicure and to remove my shellac. he asked me why I didn't want to get color and I explain to him what had happened. He was so understanding and took time to explain to me about a new dipping powder and how I would really love it. He convinced me to go ahead and give it a try and he was so right! First my pedicure was amazing. He took his time and had my hand soaking while he worked on my feet and help me pick a color that matched the color I had picked for my nail. I asked for a design and he gave me something simple and elegant which I thought was very nice. When we started on my hands I let him know that my real nails were very important to me and that I suffer from arthritis so I need a gentle hand. He was very gentle and explain to me step-by-step what he was doing since I had never had it done before. He was careful not to ruin my nails anymore than they were already and he let me know what I could expect with the new product he was using. It has been 3 weeks now and I will be going back and taking my whole family to get Services here. I even recommended him to somebody that was new in town and was looking for a new place for their nails. I'm only speaking for Justin as he is the only person that I have had work on my nails. I highly recommend him. The place is nice and clean very beautifully decorated their chairs are comfortable and prices are fair. I have gotten many compliments on my nails and my natural nails feel strong and don't hurt anymore.

Natural, almond/oval dip nails this time. I always get compliments!

I came into Oasis a year ago looking for a new place to get dip nails done. I left a very happy customer who is now a regular. I have done long, short, square, oval, almond, coffin & they get the shape right every time. Justin is fantastic and fits me in for an appointment anytime I ask. I am never rushed and always given time to choose my colors and debate. I do gel on my toes and dip on my nails and am always happy with the color selection (they have a TON) & the results. Highly recommend Oasis for a comfortable atmosphere & quality product.

Initially had good hope on the start of my pedicure. Cleaning and scrubbing was great. Once it came to painting my toe nails, it looked horrible and bumpy. She was in a hurry to finish my nails because they took another customer right after. Ones i left and looked at my toes closer, oh my. The skin around the nails had color The polish was coming off on the side... as though the toes were wet and she was doing gel over wet part toe nails. And the water mixed with paint all came off. Definitely regretting taking a chance at this salon.

Nothing better than fresh nails thank you Justin!

Love them! Dip Nails by Justin loved how he helped me pick the colors I was so indecisive! He was not annoyed at all which some places they do get irritated by that! He explained everything he did which I appreciate! Way more thorough than the last place I went to. Stay away from candy nails they don't use original and new products!

    Very nice atmosphere...

I have tried every nail salon in my neighborhood and haven't found one I love. So I headed over to Oasis after the gym one day. As I was sitting there getting the old gel soaked off my nails, I started talking to the lady and nail tech beside me about dip nails. I'd never tried them and was not having success with gel. It seemed like wherever I got gel it was peeling by day 5 They talked me into trying the dip, and I am so glad I did! As I write this it has been 3 weeks since I got them done and the only thing that doesn't still look great is the grow out! They are so much stronger than gel for my poor weak peeling nails. I'll definitely be heading back to get them redone! The reason I did not give 5 stars is because as I was waiting for the tech they left the cotton soaked in acetone on my nails so long that my fingers turned white (temporarily). To be fair, I came in to get gel and changed my mind and thus the tech, but still. Also, it took a long time. But for nails that last over 3 weeks, it's worth it.

Love this place. Just moved here and hadn't yet found a spot I liked. My nails are in awful condition. They are artists here, gentle artists! The dipping powder and shaping of my nails are fantastic. Best manicure I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

Love Oasis Nails! I have tried several nail salons in Vancouver & finally found the best. Every tech there does a great job. My favorite are Yen & Justin. Great attention to detail & I leave with my nails looking fabulous every time.

I'm a new mom and 2 months postpartum and was looking forward to finally getting my hair cut!…read more I'm unfortunately extremely disappointed in my haircut experience here. I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!

Nail Salon Horror Story (Perfection Nails 9/7)…read more I've been going to Perfection Nails in Hazel Dell on and off for about the last 5 years, but I stopped going as often since every time I went, each tech charged differently for the same service and the quality was inconsistent--especially if I wanted something other than a basic one-color manicure. Anyway, I decided to go yesterday because it was the only nail salon open near me, and I'd never had a crazy experience there before--just things like uneven shaping or needing a fill sooner than 2 weeks. My appointment was at 1 p.m. for both a pedicure and a manicure set. I arrived before my scheduled time and let the technicians know I had an appointment. I waited about 15-20 minutes before a man called me over to his table. I asked for an acrylic set and a basic manicure (cuticle trim, etc.). Everything started off fine. I hadn't had him do my nails before, but I'd seen his work and was excited to try someone new. He started by cleaning my hands and doing the usual prep. Once he finished applying and shaping the acrylic, he began working on my cuticles. When he got to my ring and middle finger on my left hand, he cut way too much, and I started bleeding everywhere. I was on the phone with my partner using a headset, so I wasn't paying close attention until I felt pain and saw blood all over my fingers. He was trying to wipe it up with a used rag and even attempted to use nail glue to stop the bleeding. I immediately told him to stop and said I needed to wash my hands because that was not a clean or safe way to handle the cut. After cleaning up, I noticed he had taken a chunk of skin off, and the bleeding continued for about 10 more minutes. I sat there holding my finger and asked him what happened. He told me my cuticles were dry. I apologized but made it clear I did not want him using nail glue to stop the bleeding. Mind you, this was the most I've ever bled in a salon. After the bleeding stopped, he continued painting my nails and asked me to check them. I noticed the middle finger on my right hand was crooked. When I pointed it out, he insisted it was just my finger. We went back and forth for a while until I finally asked if he could at least try to fix it, because it was clearly pointing in a different direction than the others. At this point, I honestly wanted to leave, but I still needed my pedicure. Another lady called me over to her station. I had previously gone to Reflection Spa/Nails, and they had done an amazing job--even applying acrylic over a broken toenail on my big toe to even it out. I explained this to the pedicure tech at Perfection, and she said it was fine and that she would soak it off. By then, I had already been there for 2 1/2 hours and just wanted to relax. I put a show on my phone, kept one headphone out in case she needed me, and let her start. There was a bit of a language barrier, so another tech had to interpret at times. Instead of soaking the acrylic off, she just filed it down and then started trimming my cuticles. Once again, she cut too much, and I started bleeding. She apologized immediately, and I told her it was okay, just to please slow down and be careful. She continued, but when she was cleaning under my toenail, the tool stabbed me under the nail. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. I ended up paying for everything but didn't tip because of all the cuts I got. My reason for posting is to find a new nail spot to go to in Vancouver and to spread awareness of my experience. L
